Needing Normal
Can one night change your life?
My life was small and insignificant and I was okay with that. I like normal, it’s my safety net against pain and confusion. I'd had enough of both.
One night and one man barreling into my life changed that, snatching away choice, pummeling normal until it cowered and fled. Another man stirred a desire I feared dormant. Or dead.
The two men were linked and I was torn between temptation and the fear of that temptation killing me.
One night did change my life.

The Written Pictures Series is perhaps a little different to other books out there of a similar genre.
I found myself a little frustrated and even disappointed with some books, finishing them and thinking that perhaps I could do better.
The Written Pictures Series is written to entice while engaging the imagination, stoking it and prompting rather than steamrollering and pounding it flat. Imagination is, after all, the most potent of erogenous zones. The series seeks to truly thrill with intense, dark and steamy scenes woven into a strong story line.
Take a chance on it, you won't be disappointed.
Branching out, I have now released my first book in the genre of Romance / Contemporary Women. It has me really excited as it was a departure from my past work and a represents my first step into mainstream genres!

A lot happens to Kim in this book. She sees a murder, falls in love, goes into hiding, and so much more. It's all in Kim's point of view, so there's more going on than what she knows. There's a lot of mystery and suspense, as well as a lovely romance.

H.A. proves yet again to be a gifted and talented wordsmith with this delightfully entertaining thriller/romance. The effortlessly flowing story line is imaginative, captivating, fast paced and full of nail biting suspense. Written from the perspective of the female protagonist, who is beautiful, yet unassuming, believably vulnerable, yet who displays a fierce strength of character that becomes apparent as the plot unfolds. The attraction with the handsome, taciturn male lead sizzles as the sparks fly between them from the onset and the reader is kept guessing as to how and when the passion will ignite.
An engrossing, intriguing and exciting adventure that once started was impossible to put down. The pages flew and hours passed totally immersed in the fate of the characters. At the times the tension was so intense I felt jumpy reading alone in the night. As always in H.A’s books there are some exquisitely written sex scenes to drool over. Sweetly romantic, sultry and passionate, and at times deliciously sinfully kinky!
I can wholeheartedly recommend this book as a thoroughly entertaining good read.

A real leap into the mainstream for me, Needing Normal is a thriller/romance crossover for the modern woman. Of course, it has to include a sizzling scene or two to set the pulse racing. A joy to write but took longer than initially expected. Really pleased with it though and hope everyone similarly enjoys it!
