I just finished reading "Delivery Man" by Robin Stone. The only way I can properly explain this story is to ask you to remember a time in your life when you encountered someone you just met, someone you knew nothing about, someone you were attracted to, someone you had to have, someone you knew came with consequences, but you took the risk anyway because YOU JUST COULDN'T STOP YOURSELF.
I wasn't prepared.... The chemistry between these characters is so strong, the sex was spicy, spontaneous, and fucking fantastic (no pun). I was pulled into the book with them a few times lol. It was great.

Delivery time
Short story but with a funny side: Derek is a delivery man and he delivers Ella every day. He is attracted to her, but he works and she's a client, so he forbids himself to flirt until it is her who tries to seduce him. I found quite funny the beginning of their relationship because Derek is stuck with his schedules and they have only a few minutes to enjoy each other, to discover each other.
Despite this short time, the story is very hot during the few minutes they grant themselves, and despite the tensions that appear in Derek's work.

So much fun!
Robin Stone does one heck of a job writing quick, sexy reads that are hot as you-know-what yet still have substance, and Delivery Man is no exception! Told entirely from delivery man Derek's POV, it's a lot of fun watching his appreciation for the works-from-home fashion blogger Ella turn into something more and then turn into something that just might last. Yes, the sexy times are scorch-your-page hot, but there's a real relationship developing in there too, and that part of the story is (almost!) just as entertaining. ;)
Ms. Stone has a real knack for writing erotic shorts with substance--and I can't wait to read more!

Very Enjoyable
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I enjoyed reading “Delivery Man” by Robin Stone. If you are looking for a good book to read you want to read this. It’s a Good, well written, interesting story and the great, entertaining characters kept me glued to this book. I loved their story. Their interaction and chemistry was sizzling and engaging, I couldn’t put it down.

Yay! I found a new author. Robin Stone writes a handyman series! Yee haw!
This is erotica just the way I like it...hot and sexy, but with a nice dose of sweetness, too. The writing is tight, there was a cute story, and I loved the "timed" deliveries. Looking forward to the next book.

Special Package Delivery with a whole new meaning
The Delivery Man by Robin Stone is a delightful short story. I think this is what every delivery driver dreams of happening on their route.
Derek is a delivery driver for SpeeDee Delivery Days. Along his daily route he encounters all sorts of people including lonely housewives and one particular pretty young woman that he fantasizes about when he is in the shower. Ella is a young fashion blogger who works from home. Ella is different to Derek in that she always answers the door dressed in nice dresses, with jewelry and shoes, as opposed to most people who answer their door in sweats and ratty t-shirts. Like who would answer their door wearing sweats and ratty t-shirts? Definitely not me as I usually am still in my jammies when I have my packages delivered!! ;-))
Anyways, pretty quickly Derek is delivering more than just the packages to Ella and she is giving Derek special "tips" for his services, all within his regular delivery schedule time mind you. As Derek could lose his job over this he and Ella have to keep things really quiet and should stop. But Derek doesn't want to stay away from Ella and he really likes her. So Derek and Ella have to decide if they want to keep things ultra casual and a secret or come out in public and try to build something more between them.
Delivery Man engaged me as a reader and I could understand the various characters, including the other characters introduced. At times the story had a bit of a p0rn feel to it but I think that is due more to the actual premise of it as opposed to the actual story.

Absolutely Awesome Read, well written, great characters, Awesome story line, easy read to hold you on their journey, this genre might not be for everyone but its a really wonderful story cannot wait for more from this Author.

I couldn’t read the book quick enough. The story had me hooked from the beginning. The building up to Ella and Derek getting naughty with each was worth it. The quickie erotic episodes were mind blowing and well worth the wait until they took their time and fully enjoyed each other. This is a panty soaker read! Enjoy it

A glance. A touch. Chemistry at work, then the relationship starts. It sounds like this story is starting from the wrong direction, but who's to say it won't work. I love a man in uniform too! Really good book!

This was a hot, sexy, quick read that is based on that fantasy of having some fun with the hot delivery man. This could have easily become cheesy and a trite setup for a porno. There's even a joke to that effect in the story. However, the characters are sweet and question whether their encounters are really a good idea.
Ella works from home as a fashion blogger and gets product deliveries daily. Derek is the handsome delivery man on her route. The story is told from Derek's point of view. He's attracted to Ella but finds it hard to get to know her in 2-3 minute increments while making small talk. That starts to change the day she invites him in for a cold drink. He's a few minutes ahead of schedule so what's the harm?
I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author. The story delivers. (wink)

Ella is a fashion blogger and gets a lot of free merchandise sent to her to blog about. Derek is the delivery man that has been delivering to her for awhile. Both of them are attracted to each other and enjoy their day when its delivery time. So Ella starts doing extra things like offering him a drink or giving him a tour of her place that ends of leading to more. Before long they are having quickies between his next delivery. When his boss starts having concerns about the time he spends on that street he changes his route and that leaves Derek having to ask Ella out for an actual date. Can they have a relationship outside the quickie delivery one?
This is a steamy hot story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This novella had everything. Strong, well developed characters, realistic and strong emotional reactions, and fabulous dialog (internal even better than verbal) all wrapped up in a face paced wonderfully written story! Derek and Ella's story had twists and consequences for choices made, as well as laugh out loud moments. Their entanglement took me from frusteration to happiness, and everywhere in between, and their physical 'tangles' were SO HOT!
Definately a must read by Robin Stone - 5 star all the way.

July 6, 2020This book was exactly what I needed today. A quick read that more than met an on time delivery promise. SpeeDee delivery might imply a quickie but you soon discover that's only required while on the job. Off the clock, things grow into longer term pleasures.
This delivery guy is a respectable fella with high energy, trotting back and forth to his truck, meeting deadlines, until he starts dallying too long at one address. When the boss notices, and complains, Derek's job is suddenly on the line. But the boss's story runs a lot deeper and an interesting twist adds a feel-good vibe.

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Derek is a delivery truck driver and likes to keep it that way, after delivering to a blog writer that works at home Ella. Who starts what, sorry but you will have to read to find out. Hot hot hot.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Robin Stone; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Fun
What a fabulous introduction to a new to me author. This story flowed with ease. There is a sense of heightened arousal that comes from the possibility of getting caught. I do prefer an HEA, but a HFN, when written correctly, like this one, is just as sweet.

I’ve never seen a beta hero in erotica, so this hero was a delightful change of pace. The story is sweet and sexy with just enough tension.
