A Twin Duo, Spin-off. The new neighbor, 145 Cul-De-Sac Circle.
When Brantley Jandt left Nashville Tennessee, he knew he was leaving his last chance behind. He would never be heard on every country music station around the world, and he would never step foot on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Coldhearted guilt and responsibilities forced him to face that truth. A one night stand with Kit Berry and an eighteen-month-old baby brought it all to a screeching halt. Brantley had to make a choice.

When I read the blurb and saw the cover for I Pick You, I was excited to read it. Then I started it. After the first chapter, I was like: for real? This hero is, for lack of a better word, a douche. And the entire book is in his point of view. I was a little nervous to continue… then I started reading more and I actually started to like Brantley.

I adored him with his daughter. Any scene with Bay in it was a win for me! Give me a single dad that starts to fall in love with his daughter the more time he spends with her and I am a goner! I liked that he was gaining some maturity, but still keeping his personality. There was a lot I did like about this book. But let's talk a little more about Brantley. EVERY SINGLE TIME he started to win me over, he did something that made me dislike him so strongly. Then the cycle started again. Over and over again.

Once I got to a part towards the end, I about lost it. Honestly, there was one scene that just took me back to square one with his douche-ness. I couldn’t get past it no matter how hard I tried. I’m not 100% sure how I feel. I don’t even know how I wanted this book to end so I’m not sure if I’m happy with the way things ended up or not.

As you could probably tell from the blurb, this book has a love triangle. There is Kit- aka baby mama, and Rydell- a teacher that Brantley works with. It’s not your traditional love triangle. In fact, Kit isn’t ‘there’ for a bulk of the book. I knew what woman I was leaning towards, and I thought I knew what woman Brantley was leaning towards, but I was wrong. I’m still confused on if I’m supposed to be happy with his choice. I just don’t know if it was right for him (or maybe right for me LOL). Honestly- I legit feel like BOTH women got the short end of the stick here.

I Pick You was a story I’m conflicted over. I feel like it could have been great had a few things gone differently, and it may be great for other readers. It had so much potential for me, but I had too much of a hard time getting past some things with this hero to really enjoy it.

I am all about books with kids, books with single dads, even better. I don’t know what it is, but seeing a man love his kids is my kryptonite. So when I saw the cover for I Pick You I couldn’t wait to read it, that’s before I even saw the blurb.

The story is told from Brantley’s point of view, he is a musician in Nashville. Brantley and I didn’t exactly hit it off when I first met him. He is self-centered and selfish. It bothered me so much that he was aware he had a kid, but wanted nothing to do with her. I know this happens every day, so I am not saying it’s not realistic it’s just not a trait I want in my book boyfriends.

Bay’s mom Kit has asked Bentley to take custody of their daughter for one year while she goes to Kenya. I didn’t quite understand her motives either since I personally wouldn’t leave my kid with a man who didn’t want or know her, but that’s just me.

Against his will, Bentley does make changes to accommodate his daughter and I did begin to like him more. However, he was just never that likable to me. My biggest issue was how I couldn’t really tell where Brantley stood with his feelings. See Bentley begins dating Rydell, a teacher at his school, and talking to his baby’s mother, Kit. I am not a huge fan of love triangles, but I can handle them if I can see who the guy truly loves or wants. There is a line in this story I just couldn’t’ get past and it broke my heart for the girl he picked.

I think Brantley just hit a lot of my buttons and I don’t think most will have issues with these things. I just need to know my heroes are not settling and know that they love the heroine above any others. I just didn’t feel this way throughout most of the book.

I feel like this book is might be more of it’s me, not the book and other’s will absolutely adore this plot. Actually, most of my friends have rated this book really high. I am not a huge fan of love triangles and I was expecting something different from Brantley. I did love Bay and those moments. I also loved seeing Brantley open up and develop a relationship with her. I think a lot of little things interfered with my overall feels, it seemed Brantley was always doing something to upset me. I Pick You is full of angst, lots of feels (some angry) and sexy times.

4 my little cowgirl stars

Do you believe that some people come into our lives for one sole purpose? even if that purpose is to teach us love and sorrow?

For Brantley he knew his life was about to change but he never anticipated just how much. As scared as he is, he dives right in giving the whole single dad thing a try, finally doing the "adult" thing he should have done all along. Twelve months may not seem like a long time, especially when you have to grow yourself.
There’s more than one dream, and right now, Bay’s it. She’s everything and for the first time in my life, I’m in love.

Dreams change as we grow, and sometimes we have to lose it all before we realize exactly how special what you had was...our only hope is that it isn't too late.

I Pick You, is an heartfelt emotionally frustrating read, getting into the mind set of a younger set of characters who have some big responsibilities. And just so I am clear, the frustration I felt were my own personal reaction with the characters, at no fault to the author. This is a story of finding one's self, ones true desire and dream, of heartbreak and loss and most of all different kinds of love.

Brantley, you are going to want to hate him, and you are definitely going to judge him....but please hold off until the end. His path and his choices were selfish and misguided, he was as lost and as confused knowing he is wrong but unable to stop the inevitable. It's usually the journey that matters and not the destination, but in Brantley's case I have to say it's his decision in the end that he should be judged on. For me personally my favorite character was Bay, how could you not love this little cutie; Brantley, Kit and Dell for me was a little bit harder to love. Regardless of wanting to pull my hair out, I did enjoy watching Brantley grow and seeing his new dream come to life.

Hey, can I tell you something?

Is no secret that I was a big fan of The Twin Trio series, and when the character of Brantley was introduced in the last book I was immediately curious by the new teacher hottie that had moved into the cul de sac where Pax and Gabriella live.

Leave it to Jettie Woodruff to bring us something new and unexpected. Never a dull moment when reading one of her novels.

I Pick You was fantastic!!!! This novel can be read as a standalone. You do not have to have read The Twin Trio series to fully enjoy this book.

 photo image_zpsumtodbeg.jpeg

Brantley was living his dream by performing his favorite country songs on the busy streets of Nashville. The hot rising star had a different girl every night, and even though he's not rich, he makes a pretty decent living by singing and playing his guitar at a different place every night.

One crazy night, lust took over the reigns of his actions and he forgot about protection. 9 months later he learned he was having a baby with the girl he had only spent one weekend with. Immature and not ready to face the consequences of his actions, Brantley decides to pay for child support, but decides not to be part of his child's life.

Kit is the mother of his baby and she's tried in the past to get Brantley involved in the life of their daughter Bay without avail. It's not until a big career opportunity for her comes knocking on her door that she finds herself having to force Brantley to take responsibility for his daughter.

Kit leaves Brantley with their two-year-old baby Bay, and a book full of how to's. Her heart feels heavy but she trusts that baby Bay will make her daddy fall in love with her and help him mature and become the dad she knows he can be.

New home, new job and a being a new father, Brantley feels totally out of place but little does he know that his relationship with Kit will be renewed and he will also meet a Florida cowgirl that together with his daughter Bay, these women will turn his life inside out.

 photo image_zpsr6yl5vs9.png

Brantley never knew what love was, and now he has so much of it that he doesn't know how to deal with it all. He feels closer to Kit now that she's so far away and he has so much in common with Rydell, the beautiful teacher that works across the hall from him.

Brantley has a lot of growing up to do and, unfortunately, it's not until he almost loses it all that he finally finds himself.

I'm not going to tell you that Brantley is a super swoony hero, who you'll fall in love with immediately. He's a little bit of an anti-hero. He's hot, obnoxiously cocky and very selfish. So it was a real beauty for me to see how the love for his daughter changed him. Brantley was as delicious as he was frustrating at times but his interactions with Bay, simply melted my heart and ultimately won me over.

This was a beautiful story about finding love and forgiveness. About growing up and finally finding happiness in an unexpected place. I love the realness in which this author wrote the story, the way she humanized the characters and made me fall in love with them, even when I didn't agree with their actions, was a wonderful experience. Jettie Woodruff writes the kind of books I want to read and I truly loved this one.

Brantley Jandt is a 25 yr. old guy whose been following his dream in Nashville for the past 5 years. Music has always been a huge part of his life, and he wants to make it big in Nashville as a country music singer. His dreams of being a superstar are cut short when Kit, the mother of his child contacts him, asking him to care for their 18 month old daughter while she is in Kenya for the next year.

 photo cfdd8e11-1bc5-4112-b285-03bdb2b068f8_zpsanvqsrns.jpg

Brantley has never been much of a father to his daughter Bay. He sent his monthly check, but never felt he was really cut out to be a parent. He's about to be a dad to a little girl he's only met once. He's a little panicked at the thought of being responsible for a little person. It's time to man up, act like an adult & get a real job. Brantley falls back on the teaching degree he never thought he'd use, & sends out resumes. He finds a job in Hudson, Florida, and makes plans to care for his daughter.

Brantley rents a gorgeous house on the beach from his cousin Lane, & starts his new job as a 2nd grade teacher at St. Augustine's Catholic School. He goes from the single life to living in a cul-de-sac, and being a full time dad. He falls in love with his daughter pretty fast & it melted my heart. He regrets not being with her from the beginning, & quickly becomes attached to her. He just learns as he goes & is a totally swoon worthy, delicious dad! He has a couple love interests in this story & we don't know if he will end up with a fellow teacher that makes him want more, or if he will work things out with Bay's mom. I found myself liking both women. Brantley is going through so many changes in his life & realizing he wants more for himself. A family, a place to put down roots, but most of all his daughter Bay. She has become the most important person in his world! I really enjoyed this book & thought it was fantastic! :D

When I first read the blurb of I Pick you, I was kind of eh about it. It almost sounded like a country song gone wrong. And then I started reading and I got mad. Brantley is a douchebag of epic proportions. At some points I wanted to throw my tablet in frustration at his audacity. At others, I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue reading. But I soldiered on and I’m glad I did. He ended up growing on me. I’m not 100% pro-Brantley, but I don’t want to make him a eunuch anymore.

The characters were written beautifully, you could see the growth happening as you moved through the pages and wince along with everyone as they stumble along the way. Usually with two love interests, there’s one that you root for. Here you don’t know which one you want to win. This was my first book of Woodruff’s and I can’t wait to read more.

A different speed from Jettie's Underestimated Series. That was my favorite... until NOW.... This book, was the most Real book I have read in what seems like forever. It tackles real life. Things we have all handled. Brantley is an asshole, but, damn, if he isn't an asshole who learns and grows, much like the rest of us did. I love him for it.... and Bay... she has to be the absolute most adorable book kid I have read, to date. I fell in love with both Kit and Rydell, but I am a rooted family girl... I will leave it at that. This book, you can tell, took Jettie's heart and soul. It was well written, well thought out. It is more than just romance... It's Life... Raw... Unedited... Real.... That was the best part... AMAZING!!!

(This review has spoilers!!)

I received an ARC for an honest review

“Everyone always said it would be a female that finally brought me to my knees, I just didn’t think it would be a little person. God, I loved her.”

I’m a huge fan of Jettie Woodruff. I fell in love with her writing in The Twin Duo series. The truth is I requested an ARC without even knowing what this book is about because I like her writing that much and I kind of fell in love with this books cover (so damn cute!) So...I think not knowing the plot was a good thing. The cover gives you a good idea that this book is going to revolve around a child and family and I always love those themes...I think it's the mom in me =) What I didn't know is that this book was going to have some themes I usually stay away from...love triangles (I hate them) and cheating. If you are like me just hold on a minute before you write this book off.

I Pick You is a spin off from the Twin Duo series. Brantley was Rowan’s teacher and this is his story. The basic premise is Brantley is a young musician, living the high life of girls, freedom, music, and sex. He’s a playboy with no commitment and responsibilities, except he really does have responsibilities but chose not to acknowledge them. He has a young daughter, Bay, that he’s never wanted and neglected for almost 2 years. Kit (the baby mama) has an opportunity to go to Kenya for a year to do a documentary on the poor children there. She convinces Brantley to take Bay for a year. Brantley is starting on a new journey of fatherhood. He is falling in love and learning to be the man he was meant to be. I believe the heart of this story is about Brantley's journey into adulthood. Yes, there is love and family, but it's really about how he learns and grows.

I loved Bay and how Brantley falls in love with his daughter. I'm a total sucker for these types of books. His interaction with Bay is a main focus in this story and Bay's character is very well developed. I love watching people fall in love with their children. I fell in love with Bay. It was just heartwarming. Once committed to taking care of her, Brantley manned up to be the dad he needed to be. I respected the hell out him for that and he was even sexier as a good dad.

Now comes my issues that I tried very hard to overcome. I didn't realize it was a love triangle until it was too late. As I was reading, I found myself really liking Kit, but I was confused because I didn't understand why Jettie was developing Kit’s character when it was clear Brantley was falling for Rydell. The problem was I liked Kit so much; I started hoping for Kit and Brantley to find happiness together, but Rydell was supposed to be the love of his life. I was getting confused and pissed and I almost stopped reading. Rydell was okay to me, but I had some moments I thought "What a bitch" in my head. I was frustrated because I liked Kit, but Brantley loved Rydell. Kit's character was flawless. I don't see how anybody could not root for her. She was such a sweet, kind, and caring person. I loved how devoted she was to Bay and I loved how she push Brantley to be the father he was meant to be.

Did I mention I hate love triangles? I had no idea who Brantley was going to choose. I knew who I liked, but honestly I was having a bit of a meltdown with the uncertainly. I contemplated not finishing because it would piss me off if he didn't choose Kit, but I pushed on because well...I just did.

Needless to say, I had mixed emotions about Brantley. I loved and hated him. I really loved watching him fall in love with his daughter. It was tender, sweet and real. He also had these really sweet moments with Kit and Rydell that made me see he really was a good person, but then he would do some pretty douche like things that made me want to stop reading again.

So here's the spoiler... if you don’t want to know, don’t read the rest of this review. I'm ecstatic I kept reading because the ending is PERFECT! The ending is a 5 star and it made this book and the angst I felt totally worth while. Brantley grows and matures and he finally gets his shit together. He becomes the man and father he was meant to be. He picks the right girl and it’s so damn sweet!!

"You're not playing second fiddle to anyone, Kit. I'm not interested in singing a song and picking some tunes with Rydell in some honky-tonk. I want you. I pick this house. I pick Bay. I pick this life that I want to share with you. I pick you , Kit."

"I want you, Kit. I love you and I want this family more than anything I’ve ever wanted in my life. Please, Kit.”

READ this book! The ending makes the rough journey worth it. If you are like me and love stories about family, love, and real life then give this book a chance.

Well this book is one big clusterfuck of emotions!

Having a child really changes your life, in every way. One of the the coolest things is seeing how your partner morphs from husband to father/wife to mother. I can remember watching my husband interact with our children and falling in love with him even more. It is a wonderful experience raising children.

Brantley has a drunken one night stand with Kit which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. He never thought he would see Kit again until she informed him about their baby news. He is not ready to be a father and wants nothing to do with any of this so his only contribution is a monthly deposit into a bank account.

Until Kit is offered a chance to travel overseas for a dream job for 12 months. He reluctantly agrees to put some roots down in a city, find full time employment and care for his daughter for 12 months.

This is when his world changes. Seriously, who can resist a gorgeous 2 year old girl who unconditionally loves & trusts her daddy? The interactions between these two are so sweet!

"Everyone always said it would be a female that finally brought me to my knees, I just didn’t think it would be a little person. God, I loved her."

He now sees Kit in a different light, appreciating what she has sacrificed in her own life to be a good mother to Bay. Their daily interactions online turn into more than updates on Bay and it is confusing/unsettling for Brantley.

Just to add to the angst factor, Brantley meets a girl in his new city and before too long he is head over heels in love with her. She is wonderful with Bay, they share the same love of music and she is everything he wants in a woman.

Why then is he feeling things for both women? Could he be in love with two people at the same time? His head is a complete mess, which results in a few silly, impulsive decisions that can only eventually lead to heartbreak…

I loved getting caught up in this story and everything that Brantley goes through as he adjusts to being a father and stepping up to the man he needs to be.

I Pick You Cover EBook

When I left Nashville, Tennessee, I knew deep in my heart I wouldn't be back. I knew I would never be heard on every country music station around the world, and I would never step foot on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Cold hard guilt and responsibilities that I didn't want forced me on a different path. Me being responsible for an eighteen-month-old was a horrible idea. Me being a second grade teacher in a catholic school was plain ludicrous. Life sucked, love hurt, and I didn't know who to pick.

5.0 "HUSHABAY " STARS!!!

“Still finding myself, still searching for light, finding you, finding me, fighting hard for whatever is right. Is it for me, or is it for you? Still fighting for air, hmmm, mmm, hmmm, mmm.”

This book is fantastic! The storyline is unique...will give you a different ride of a rollercoaster of emotions..and feels so DAMN REAL.

In all honesty, I was really curious about this book. I mean look at the cover?hell it's perfect and to think it was a spin off of Twin Duo Series Yay I know I have to read this. So I really did and I was surprised!!! In all true Jettie Woodruff's way, the story was uniquely written and perfectly delivered. This got me hooked and invested the moment I started reading it.

I Pick You is a book where you can say that everything feels so real. Let me start by saying I never expected the turn of events that I encountered with this book. First were with the characters, like wow!!! The male lead???ahhhh there's this point that I wanted to kick him and punch him do MMA thing on him because he's a total jerk!!!!a total...urghhh...I was so frustrated because I don't want him like that. Then at some point, I wanted to hug him..call dibs on him...place him in my closet then lock him there so nobody could take him away. The female lead on the other hand? Wow! I never really see it coming. I could not even say at first that I love her because seriously? I despise her from the start but then this woman of all surprises...yes that's you Ms. Jettie made a twist that made my jaw dropped. Like what the hell just happened? You know at this part? I guess I wont divulge anymore because this should be experienced rather read in a review.
...and then because she loves us more...(yeah you again Ms. Jettie)..
she coupled it with cute and adorable baby you'll surely love right from the start..the baby, why this even started...the baby that leads to different situations that finally knock some sense to this Daddy that was so confused what road to take in.

“Read between the lines, Brantley, the detours are clear, and the direction is right in front of your face. Look for them.”

Overall, this story is amazing!
enjoyable...fast paced... more than the emotional scenes, I get to laugh with the book... I may have felt so broken but I feel loved all at once. And I say again it feels so real. The characters growth is incredible...not sugar coated...youll definitely say "It happens in real life. Like for real."

“No, so I can tell you how I got here. How I ended up in this very spot right here. It was never her, Kit, but it took a whole lot of hell for me to see the truth. Rydell was great with Bay, she was great with me, and she’s a good hearted soul who deserved way better than what I gave her, but she was never meant to be in my life, only part of the journey to get me here. With you. You’re not playing second fiddle to anyone, Kit. I’m not interested in singing a song and picking some tunes with Rydell in some honky-tonk. I want you. I pick this house. I pick Bay. I pick this life that I want to share with you. I pick you, Kit.

After reading , I was emotionally drained. I really can't explain what I feel.

Great job Ms. Jettie!!!

Simply wonderful... This was another great book from Jettie Woodruff. It's a story about a guy named Brantley who has some what of a Peter Pan complex. That all changes when he has to take care of his daughter from a one night stand he had a year ago with a woman named Kit. Kit is going out of the country to work on something she very passionate about and Brantley is forced to "man up" and take care of his daughter, Bay Berry. Brantley moves to FL putting his dream of a country singer aside to take care of his daughter and take a teaching job where he meets Rydell. Rydell is a fellow teacher and object of Brantley's affection. When Rydell succumbs Brantley's charms- they fall fast for each other. Brantley has secrets and needs to learn to communicate. Needless to say all is not what it seems. The end takes a turn I wasn't expecting at all. Will Brantley grow up and take responsibility? This book was different from the previous books I have read from Jettie. It had a little bit of everything in it, all sorts of emotions were happening. Brantley was a character I wasn't sure I was going to like but his charm won me over. And Bay Berry was the cutest little girl ever. I loved the connection between between father and daughter. #TeamRydell. The story really gave me the feels... Overall I thought it was pretty amazing.

One of the best books I've read in a long time . Jettie never seems to disappoint me with her books however with I Pick You she has out done herself . Normally while reading a book I at least hate one character but not in this one and let me tell you why . Ill start with Brantley a guy who just isn't ready to grow up who has a baby girl named Bay Berry with a one night stand and he doesn't want to be a daddy but things change and Brantley gets Bay for a year just himself . Then we have Kit Bays mama and I just love her she is down to earth loving a good mama . Brantley meets second grade teacher Rydell I wanted to not like her but I couldn't help but feel for her and like her . This wasn't just some love triangle this story had heart and love and was so true to what people in real life go through and that's what sets its apart of other books . If I had my way I would give I Pick You 10 stars this is a must read .

*~*~*~* I struggled between a 3.5 and a 4 *~*~*~*~*

It’s so hard for me to write this review… don’t get me wrong I liked the book, but I just didn’t love it like I wanted too. It brought out a lot of emotions … I mean A LOT OF EMOTIONS. I struggled with this book so many times. One minute I was team Brantley and the next minute I wanted to throat punch him. Once again, Jettie’s writing style is amazing it just wasn’t the ending I was hoping for.

This is a love triangle book. Now normally I avoid those like the plague, but for Jettie of course I had to read it. When we first meet Brantley, he is a HORRIBLE person pretty much a child still. As yes I loved the fact that we get to see him mature throughout the book, BUT he still did things I didn’t like. I loved BAY… ahhh such a sweet and loving little girl. Now my biggest issue was the two girls. I was team one girl thinking I had things completely figured out and that is NOT the way it happened. Normally Jettie changes my mind about the book, but this time my heart was still with the other girl. AHHH I still want to scream thinking about it. One part my heart literally dropped out of my chest. Props to Jettie for stringing my emotions along and driving my half crazy, and overall it’s a really good book. Just be prepared from an emotional roller coaster ride from hell. Loved the snippet for the next book at the end … and I cant wait to see what Jettie brings next.

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.

I love this author's work and I fear I will be in the minority with this book. I have a love/hate relationship with triangles and one of my latest reads was also a book with one it it.
I've had some issues with this book but the main thing was that I couldn't seem to love the characters. Some of their actions confused me and frustrated me.
Brantley seemed selfish and immature and I just couldn't connect with him despite any efforts he made to become a father.
I won't go into detail because the book simply wasn't for me, but I can say that I loved the writing style. If you want something with emotion and heart-break then this is for you.

3.5 stars (Several parts were 4, even 5 stars!)

----

This book will take you for a ride, that's for sure! I definitely was NOT a fan of Brantley in the beginning (and during other parts of the book, truth be told) but he grew on me. This is really a coming-of-age tale. You get to see Brantley grow up and develop relationships, you get to see him mess up (majorly and epically) and you get to see him fall in love (more than once). Those parts were perfect, but man, some of his choices were hard to swallow.

I enjoyed the growth we got see from some characters but I felt like I never really got the chance to get to know others. The pace was great and I read this pretty quickly but I still wish we would have gotten more from Kit, especially.

I will say, this was my first book by this author and now I'm definitely going to go back and read the backlist, the writing and storytelling is captivating.

This story touched me on a level I didn't expect. I thought I knew what I would get from Brantley Jandt's story but it had so much more. I Pick You isn't just a romance. It's a TRUE love story, and not just a love between man and woman, but love for a child.

I can't begin tell you how moved I was with this story and give it proper justice, but I'll try.

After reading Jettie Woodruff's Twin Duo , I expecting something COMPLETELY different than what she delivered in this book and I was blown away, literally, with all the emotions it evoked in me.

Brantley Jandt is an aspiring country music star. His dreams of living day to day without a care in the world while he waits for his music career to take off, are halted when he's asked to step up and be the dad he hasn't been. Slowly but surely, we see a story unfold that is so touching... it's unreal.

Sure this has a romantic theme, but ultimately this story is about how having a child can change you. How meeting that stranger on the street can alter the course of your life. How that friend or lover can make the slightest impact on you that causes the smallest ripple to result in the biggest splash.

Brantley Jandt learns all this in just a few short months. Opening himself up to be a dad to his beautiful baby girl, allows him to open his heart to possibilities he would have otherwise ignored or declined. Sweet little Bay ends of up being a spark that ends up with an explosion of love within his heart. The end result is him becoming the man he was always meant to be.

I highly recommend this story. It was an amazing "feel good" story with plenty of laughs and giggles along with a sprinkle of tears... all wrapped up in a pretty bow of JOY.

THIS is what A typical jettie genre
she writes the cutest, adorablest babies .
I fell in love with Bay Berry Jandt.
Now the story- Brantley Jandt is a sexy , singing cowboy from Nash vile, compete with boots and swagger. He is at a crossroads of his life. His past in the form of Cute adorable Bay Berry is thrust into his lap and he has to take care of her. So he arrives in Florida , to cut his locks and trim his beard and be a Catholic school teacher to a class of second graders.
Boy oh Boy !. That's a disaster waiting to happen . What he can't cope with, he tries to charm his way out of . Women fall over themselves to be near him, he winks and smiles sexy and flirts and charms his way in almost all the staffs' hearts.
Then Bay arrives .
He now has Rydell in his life and Bay in his arms.
Life is complete ?
Right ....Wrong!!
He . Is . A . Guy. They think with their smaller head in the pants!!!!!
as usual his logic is awesome -" You give a guy two beautiful girls, the guy is going to take them. He may be stupid for falling in love with them, but he’s going to take them."
Bahahahahahahahahahahah*gigglesnort* hahahahahahaha
men have such one dimensional brains and Brantley is not an exception. What happens next- jettie will kill me , if I tell you.
but you must read it. She wrote in Jandt'sPOV and she never crosses the line into mush territory . She writes like a man would think.
Black and white. Which lands Brantley into a lot of trouble . It's well written, funny, sexy hot and charming .
I wish she wrote me about Bay speaking. I Wide Da-Day, I stuck in car and go to hopihal

“Rydell gave me the sexy head tilt with the captivating eyes, ‘You thought we would play some tunes or have sex?’”

5 pick me stars!! Love, doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel!

This book will break your heart and then put it back together. I laughed and cried and, gosh there were so many emotions!! I love all things Jettie and this book is fastly climbing to the top of my favorites. I loved the whole idea of the story, the characters you’ll fall head over heels with and well you get the idea!!!

Meet Brantley Jandt, aspiring country music singer waiting for his big break, turned second grade catholic school teacher. He is your typical love em and leave em type. No strings no attachments. His really for a relationship just as long as it's just the overnight variety.

Along comes one sexy school teacher and an ex one night stand, with a baby in tow just to complicate his life. It's time for Brantley to finally grow up and start making a few adult decisions.

A spin off from the twin series, this stand alone book has a few familiar characters, shown in the background. Adding in the new characters and pupils from St Augustine. I enjoyed getting into Brantley's head and watching him grow up from a reckless hot headed busker chasing a dream into a responsible grown up following his heart. I loved the way Jettie brought Brantley together with the woman he was made for, they were perfect for each other. They didn't have a traditional love story, but their connection was ever present in the way their story was written.

4.5 Stars.....Emotional, Funny and Sexy

Wow, just finished and my mind is still reeling from this roller coaster. All I can say is that I experienced every emotion possible and the fact that we have Brantley's POV throughout was brilliant and perfect. I was laughing out loud at his thoughts, ready to scream at him and he had me and my panties melting in his hands too, all at the same time, lol!!!!!!

As usual Author Jettie Woodruff, great stuff and yes, way the f*@!) out of my comfort zone! hehehe
