If i had to characterize this book with only one world that would have been an easy task. Tasteless would be the world and i wouldn't feel obligated to write anything else. But is ever anything that simple? Hardly.

So, now i will proceed with the rest of my review. Sometimes you know where the book is heading while on the 10th page and it wouldn't be hyperbolic to say that i was already grunting my discomfort by then. Even though the start was really exciting, the moment Trevor made his appearance i knew that the rest of the book would be read more as an awkward short story and less as an intriguing whirlwind romance.

The characters both had enriched life stories which was really great and the writing was solid but that was it. I couldn't feel any chemistry -with only exception the kitchen scene- the main couple was a bit dull and the storm didn't affect them in a romantic, fateful way -the fact that they were stuck and couldn't leave for 2 days wasn't enough .

As for the ending? Boy, do i really need to comment on that? It was absolutely ludicrous, without the much needed escalation that such a gesture dictates and it felt pretty much rushed and fake.

3 - "There is a thin line between love and hate." Stars.

Snowbound Seduction was a quick, easy read. Nothing new or particularly different in the 'frenemies' to lover trope, but Trevor and Elaine were easy to get along with, and the novella was only an hour or so of reading.

"We work together."

And they have basically done nothing but argue since the opening of the restaurant they work in. At his wits end with the atmosphere their arguing is causing, their partner packs them both off to a snowy cabin retreat in Canada, neither of them actually knowing the other is there until it’s too late.

"Don’t think… Just go with it."

It doesn’t take too long for Trev and Lainey to admit that their frustrations with each other in the kitchen may have something to do with the sexual frustrations they are nursing for each other the rest of the time.

As I said quick, easy and predictable, but it kept me entertained for the time I was reading it.

Snowbound Seduction by Melissa Schroeder is a sweet novella. While it may not take some long to read, it is packed with an engaging plot, great characters and a bit of humor. If you've ever wanted to take two friends with amazing chemistry between them, and throw them into a room, lock the door and toss the key... this book is for you.

I personally had a fun time reading Snowbound Seduction. It is a great read when you want something light-hearted but will still deliver the intensity of a full length novel. Told from a third person point of view, you really get a feel for the characters and their personalities.

I would absolutely recommend this one! Kudos, Ms. Schroeder on a job well done!

DNF @ 60%.

Whilst Snowbound Seduction has a storyline that's been done time and time again, it is one I do like: enemies trapped in a cabin together during a snowstorm. Melissa Schroeder is an established author, although unfamiliar to me, so I went into it with few expectations other than discovering a sound story with likeable characters.

"It always gets worse before it gets better."

I actually quite liked Lainey and Trev up to a point, there is tension between them and build up. But the author's writing style didn't work for me. I like words which flow, and these just didn't; they read stilted and with so many short sentences packed together, it felt clunky. But it was opinions made in the storyline with regards to Lainey's relationship with her best-friend, Mick that frustrated me and resulted in me putting this down at 60%.

It was a shame they both saw each other more as siblings than with romantic interest. They would be perfect for each other.

"When I first met him we hit it right off. When that happens, I usually think the guy is gay."

description

No, it's not a shame that they have a friendship where they are fortunate enough to be so comfortable with one another that they feel like family. Far from it because, GASP!, not all friendships fall into the best-friends to lovers trope. It has a place in romance, and I do love reading them, but here it was unnecessary. As were suggestions that gay male friends are a safe option in friendship and if you hit it off, why he must be gay. And this made me dislike the heroine intensely and question if this is actually what the author thinks.

On this occasion, I'm sorry I couldn't be more positive.

When two strong personalities collide, let the fun begin!

Trevor MacMillian and Elaine Masterson were co-owners. They worked together in their restaurant’s kitchen. They are two parts of a three-part business partnership but they can’t seem to find any common ground at work. Don’t even think about getting along outside of it. When their friend and partner had enough, the two find themselves enjoying a work-free weekend… alone… together. Oh boy, watch out!

This was a fun, quick trip through a snow-laden, anything but cold, standoff. Both Trevor and Lainey are horrified but then intrigued by their close quarters as they do try to find some way to smooth over their hostile relationship. He cooks and she bakes which gives them something to talk about other than sniping at each other.

“You said you had never had a snowball fight. Or even made a snow angel. That is just wrong, Lainey.”
“I haven’t had an enema, either, but that doesn’t mean I think I need to experience one.”

There is attraction there, you can see it simmering, and as it comes out in humor and heat the fun truly does begin! Hilarious conversations and smoking heat in the kitchen (and out of it) made this a calorie-filled sweet treat from start to finish.

P.S. I want so badly to hear their voices! Just imagining those chats with Trevor’s English accent and Lainey’s Georgian… Oh, I hope there’s an audible coming! ~ Diane, 4.5 stars

Mick, Trevor and Elaine own a restaurant together. Trevor is the executive chef and Elaine the pastry chef. Unfortunately they don't get along. The atmosphere in the kitchen is horrible, so Mick comes up with a plan to fix that. He makes them go to a romantic cabin in the snow. They don't know that they will be there together. The weather is on Mick's side and Elaine and Trevor don't have a choice but to spend several days together. Will Mick's plan work and does their anger eventually turn into something else?

Snowbound Seduction is a fun and romantic novella about two people who initially aren't nice to one another at all. Trevor and Elaine both have their reasons. While being in the cabin together they have to get to know each other better. I liked that idea and they definitely have the right kind of chemistry. They're passionate people, in the kitchen and in other areas of their life as well. I liked the descriptions of their favorite foods and loved how they initally try to express their feelings through cooking. These things together are the perfect ingredients for a hot story.

Snowbound Seduction is a short and easy read, it has a good flow. It's a story to read in one sitting while you have an hour to spare. The telephone calls with Mick are a funny element and they made me smile. He's a main character who's very present while he isn't at the scene. Melissa Schroeder has thought of every little detail and she makes sure the reader gets to know her main characters well even though the story isn't very long. If you're looking for a great winter read, try this novella. It's amusing, sweet and sexy.

Trevor MacMillian is an executive chef who opened up a restaurant with his best friend, Mick, and pastry chef Elaine Masterson about six months ago. Ever since then, Elaine and Trevor seem not to be able to get past their mutual attraction and they are getting under each other’s skin.

Elaine has had a hard childhood bouncing between foster homes. She has learned to give off a hard exterior but deep down she just wants to be accepted and loved. Trevor is known for his playboy tendencies and the golden spoon he inherited. He has fought his way up the ladder to become the best chef in town and he is not going to let his irritating attraction for his co-worker get the better of him. However, he did not think that time spent alone with her that he would lose his control over that attraction.

This is my first Melissa Schroeder novella and I have to say it was short, sweet, and fun. Everything a novella should be. The build-up and tension between these two melts the snow around them. Since it had taken them months to finally get it out of their system it is unbelievable to me that in one night they are totally in love and wanting to get married. They literally both finally realize they love each other but really do not know much about each other besides what the tabloids say and their work ethics. Despite that it was a easy read that could be read in one sitting.

I was gifted a copy from the JeepDiva in exchange for an honest review. The opinions and ratings are my own and I was no way compensated.

He Said:

She Said:

BUT WE ALL KNOW

It's your usual familiar, plot - but still has the power to melt your hearts. They might hate each other and threw words that might hurt the other - but when they are pushed together in a secluded cabin, with a snowstorm coming - can they finally put their hate aside and finally admit to the brewing attraction between them?

I enjoyed their banters, and the sexual tension between these two. Not to mention their friend who was the sole reason these two were finally seeing the light!

It's short, sexy, and sweet! Perfect read to warm your cold, chilly night.

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I really love the enemies to lovers troupe and Melissa Schroeder dishes up a hot story when two chefs and business partners are set up by their other partner in an attempt to get them to figure out their differences once and for all. Snarky and sexy this novella was very entertaining.

Hot shot executive chef Trevor MacMillian and pastry chef Elaine Masterson wind up in a secluded cabin in the woods during a blizzard thanks to their business partner, Mick. There's a lot of animosity between Trevor (Trev) and Elaine (Lainey) but it stems from sexual attraction neither one wants to admit or act upon. I enjoyed watching them both fight their attraction while trying to put forth a not interested vibe towards the other. I appreciated that they spent some time getting to know one another better and figuring out that they genuinely liked and admired each other.

While a bit predictable, it didn't lessen my enjoyment of this story and to be honest I kind of liked knowing the direction it was taking because I was able to sit back and watch it happen. I will say that I hope that Mick gets a story at some point, because I can only imagine the "help" Trev and Lainey will give him.

A fast read, Snowbound Seduction featured enjoyable characters and lots of sexy fun!

Have some time to kill and want a sweet, romantic tale of food and seduction?

I saw Snowbound Seduction up for grabs in Net Galley and needless to say the cover, description and of course, Entangled Publishing caught my interest.

This is a short, romantic, delicious and steamy novella - an ideal read when you want something quick, tasty and steamy, all in one package!

So, Trevor and Elaine have been indulging in some oral foreplay - not that kind ;) I mean arguments in the kitchen - what do you expect when the world of two top class chefs who are attracted to each other, collide? So, Trevor picks on Lainey (Elaine) as he calls her (much to her irritation) and their banters are known to the whole crew including their good friend Mick.

So when things go out of hand and Lainey dumps cream on Trevor, Mick decides to play the cupid - sets them up in a lonely cabin when there's a blizzard announcement! So, these two chefs are holed up in a cabin and what follows is what Snowbound Seduction all about.

So, do they kill each other or finally give in to their attraction after indulging in foreplay for months? You will have to read Snowbound Seduction to find out! Melissa Schroeder has given us a quick read, though the novella has all the elements - story, romance, drama and seduction at it's best - with food. Can it get any more tasty?

This story is short, sweet and right to the point. Sometimes that's a hit or miss for me but I love how Schroeder didn't make me feel like I was cheated on the story.

Trevor and Elaine are partners in a restaurant with another friend but since they met they have been arguing and getting on each other's nerves. When their other partner Mick sets them up to get away little do Trevor and Elaine know that's it's together. Mick hopes they will finally get everything out or end up together.

I love how these two considered that neither of them liked one another when really they both did. All there fighting and getting on one another's nervous was just serious foreplay until they finally got together. I also really liked how they respected each other's talents and knew simple things about one another including their favorite dishes.

The story flowed nicely and the characters were likable. Do I wish there was more to this story? Absolutely, but I tend to be greedy when it comes to the characters and stories I like.

Overall I enjoyed this read and granted its a little like other snowed in books I liked the uniqueness of them being partners and chefs at the same place. These two definitely cooked up something for there HEA.

4.0 Star review of Snowbound Seductions by Melissa Schroeder

The attraction Trevor MacMillan and Elaine Masterson have for each other, hovers between love and hate. What neither of them counts on is that their business partner Mick has had enough of their constant bickering and fights.

With this is mind Mick tricks each of them into a getaway to a cabin in Canada and of course both arrive without the knowledge that the other will also be there.

Cue the snowstorm that turns into a blizzard, leaving them stuck in the cabin. What happens when 2 people who are obviously attracted to each other are snowbound without a way out for several days? You will have to read to find out.

Although short, it was certainly packed with angst and growing sexual tension. The premise of the book certainly caught my eye, since I have 2 chefs in my family.

I did feel that once Trevor and Elaine connected, their relationship did a massive jump forward, (mainly due to the length of the book) and I think I would have enjoyed an epilogue, perhaps a couple of years down the track to see how they were doing, but having said that, this was a quick and light hearted read and I enjoyed it.

I received this book from the publisher through Netgalley.

Trevor and Elaine (Lainey as Trevor prefers to call her) have been snipping at each for months, six long months. But one night Trevor, in Elaine's opinion, goes too far, figuratively using her last nerve as a jump rope. *Yeah, you've got that as a visual in your head now, don't you? LOL*

With tensions running high at the restaurant,  Mick, the third partner in their business, decides to send Lainey on a much needed getaway to his cabin. The catch? Oh yeah, you saw it coming...she isn't the only one  Mick offered his cabin too. *insert evil laugh here*

They're both attracted to the other, a realization they each came to within recent months, yet though they easily admit it to themselves, they can't do the same with each other. Lainey's form of hiding it is pure denial, while Trevor's is more offensive, as in he acts like a jerk to her whenever possible.

Being stranded with each other is certainly going to test their restraint, a restraint which hits a slight snag, albeit a hot one, when he kisses her and, to his surprise, she enthusiastically kisses him back. Okay people, all systems are a go, let's get this relationship started. *caution ahead don't do it Trevor* Trevor though, for some reason, feels as if he mishandled the situation and apologizes. Not good, man, not good.

Trevor and Lainey couldn't be more opposite. Trevor had an idyllic childhood, essentially everything he could ever want. While Lainey was turned over to the foster care system at the age of two by her alcoholic mother. *grrr*

Will Trevor and Lainey finally give in to their mutual attraction? Will they realize their fighting all these months has actually been a type of foreplay? Will Trevor admit that she's the one for him? Will Lainey take a chance on someone loving her back? Or will it take an undeniable gesture from Trevor to prove he's worth the risk, that their futures are meant to be lived side by side? One-click this book now and find out. It's a good short story with the tried and true premise of business partners/enemies to lovers. It was interesting to watch them dance around each other and struggle to accept that they want and need each other.

While overall I liked this story, and it featured one of my favorite tropes, I could've done without all the references to his playboy ways, so much so that because he hasn't been with a woman in three months, although he did go on two dates with a supermodel, to him, he's "living like a bloody monk." Seriously? Yes, we get it. He could get any woman he wanted and those women were always a certain type, i.e. supermodels, actresses, royals, etc. Yes, he could easily charm them and he had a certain look that was a precursor to his seduction of them. (Yep, that is in the book, from the observation of Lainey's viewpoint and how she's seen that look focused on other women in the past and now that it's on her, while she never understood the power of it before, she does now. Which, in my opinion, knowing that she's seen him use it on other women, and then it's aimed towards her, is a little tacky. No woman wants to be viewed, especially when dealing with a playboy, as being like all the other plethora of women he's been with in the past.) The repeated mentions of his sexual history got old and tedious very quickly for me. It's a hot button of mine and quite honestly, if I had known beforehand about this trait of Trevor's, it would've changed my mind about wanting to read it. I know at times it's a popular plot tool, but I truly wish it wasn't. It's unnecessary to make the "hero," using that term loosely when it comes to these situations, out to be someone that sleeps with any woman that breathes and if in fact for some reason maybe it's needed due to the plot, then it's not a book I really want to read. Since I'm touching upon what troubles me, I also didn't care for when Lainey flashed back to her first meeting of Trevor when she and Mick, their other business partner, arrive at his place to find him and his piece of the moment cooking in the nude. Again, unnecessary. It really didn't add anything to the story, and while I know they hadn't even met prior to that moment, what woman, even a fictional one, wants that memory as being the first time she met the man that we all know will end up being the love of her life? Oh, and of course, she's not that experienced. I don't mind when that's the case with the woman's history, but then in turn to have the guy be a manwhore? Ugh. I know I sound a little nitpicky, but everyone has their preferences and these are mine. I don't want to read and/or constantly be reminded of either main character's past sexual history, especially when it's seemingly shoved in our faces on numerous occasions throughout any story, let alone a short one. But, and I have to touch on this, especially based upon all I said as it directly relates to this point, I really like how the author made a point of having Lainey state that if she behaved with the opposite sex as Trevor does, she would be looked upon a lot differently, as in a promiscuous (trying to word nicely so as to not to upset the censors) woman. While I personally have no experience with being in that type of position, I can still say, and I think we can all agree, that it is a ridiculous double standard and I applaud the author for making sure to state that in this book.

This is a short enemies to lovers romance between Trevor and Elaine. The author packs a ton into this novella and had me glued to the pages from start to finish. She does a fantastic job building the sexual tension and bringing a fun banter between them. The characters are strong and the story moves quickly and smoothly with vividly painted scenes. I loved and would recommend this book.

This is a short, sweet Instalove/enemies to lovers romance between restaurant owners Elaine and Trevor. And whilst these types of stories can be somewhat hit or miss for me Snowbound Seduction really hit somewhere in the middle. As it was engaging, and it certainly ticked the Instalove and enemy to lovers boxes. But I didn't really feel the connection or love/hate between Elaine and Trevor. And quite honestly, it was a little slow paced, which surprised me considering the length of the story. Yet, it was light, fun and easy to read, and I was wholly engaged throughout.

So, if you're a fan of the author or like stories featuring these particular tropes, and have an hour or two to spare then, you should definitely check Snowbound Seduction out.

Title: Snowbound Seduction

Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for letting me receive a digital copy of this book before its official release.

Trevor MacMillian is the tart and incredibly sexy executive chef who’s made pastry chef Elaine Masterson’s life a living hell. But when she catches him in nothing but a tiny little towel, it’s almost enough to make her forget they’re stranded in a luxurious mountain cabin together...or that she hates him almost as much as she craves him like a sinfully forbidden dessert.

Being alone in a romantic secluded cabin might just kill Trevor outright. If Elaine hates him now, how much will she hate him if she finds out he’s been fantasizing about her full, kissable lips? So Trevor argues with her. Makes her angry— until an intense and unexpected kiss turns their hostility into insatiable hunger. And with this much heat, the snowstorm outside doesn’t stand a chance...

Wow, Melissa Schroeder is a beast. I just browsed through her titles on Goodreads and she has got so many of them. It's seriously a lot. So, well done, Melissa! Now, about Snowbound Seduction.... Unfortunately, I didn't read much about seduction, it was all very sweet and kind and really romantic. I liked this typical hate-love-relationship story, because those are always easy for me to read. You can never go wrong with those.

Anyway, the thought of Trevor and Elaine alone in a house while a storm is doing a very wild performance outside is nice. Elaine's best friend Mick actually got the two locked up there, so we can thank Mick for all the hot emotions. Thank you. haha. I'm not much of a fan of movies or books that involve characters that work as chefs or love to cook or to bake. However, that wasn't a problem here. And I really don't know why I still complain, but it felt like there were missing pieces. Some more kitchen scenes, but that couldn't have happened, because they weren't in a kitchen. Just don't mind me. My brain seems to want to make something up, just for fun. Sorry. Honestly, the prologue is enough of a kitchen scene for me. Basta.

Snowbound Seduction can be read within an hour or two at the most. I didn't need much longer than that (though started it at like midnight, so I put it down after reading half of it and went to sleep). And it was captivating, which surprised me. Normally, novellas aren't that captivating to me, so Melissa Schroeder did something right. The only thing (well, maybe not only) that bothered me was that length. It was too short and the end was too... Sudden. I would like to know whether Elaine follows her dream or if she won't. Also, I'd have liked to read more about their talks. They both tell each other a bit, but not everything.

Still, I think it was a good book. And I enjoyed it. So, thank you - whoever accepted my request.

The book synopsis pretty much sums up this short, entertaining, predictable bickering chefs to lovers romantic tale. Elaine heads off to the mountains from Atlanta to stay at Mick’s, her best friend and business partner, luxurious remote cabin. She’s in desperate need of a time out from Trevor, her other business partner/fellow chef, and their escalating heated kitchen confrontations. Unfortunately for her, Mick sent Trevor there to do the same hoping these two culinary knuckleheads will finally work things out. Ultimately, it seems he does know his two friends better than they possibly would have ever guessed.

For such a short read, the author’s writing does flow and stays engaging. There were even a couple of times at the very beginning I found myself giggling aloud. Elaine’s humorous inner dialog in thinking of her driver as a possible serial killer and her references to whacking Mick for his big set up were hilarious. This girl did have a good sense of humor.

My only issues were quite minor. #1 A couple of times Trevor referred to Elaine as someone most people would not find particularly striking. I know, I know it is shallow of me, but I prefer the hero to find the heroine breathtakingly beautiful. #2 A previous tom cat type hero never sits well with me. I don’t like references to the many other women he has been with, especially the scenario where she first met the hero. Btw, it appears the heroine has hardly ever dated.

My fellow romance book-loving friends, this was a very steamy read so definitely for readers over the age of 18 years. I do think everyone will enjoy the refreshingly romantic but highly predictable scene where sudden love declarations are made. Since these two antagonistic lovebirds have been working together for a couple of months, you have to assume this instant love situation has evolved from that.

Title: Snowbound Seduction, Author: Melissa Schroeder, VERY short novella, stand-alone, HEA, no cheating, no love triangle, VERY steamy scenes, MC are both chefs, bickering business partners to lovers.

Elaine Masterson is a pastry chef and co-owner of a trendy restaurant in Atlanta, and while she enjoys her work, she isn't real fond of who she works beside. Sharing a kitchen with Trevor MacMillianis completely frustrating, not only because he is constantly doing things to agitate her, but also because he is devastatingly handsome and oh so tempting. But she has no intention of acting on her attraction, she doesn't do relationships and the mere idea of being involved with Trevor is unnerving...

Trevor MacMillian thoroughly enjoys spending his days as a chef in the restaurant he co-owns with his friends, and also enjoys getting under the skin of his alluring co-worker Elaine. She however isn't so fond of his constant banter, which usually results in heated arguments. Their constant bickering is starting to effect the flow of their restaurant, so their friend Mick decides to step in and fix the problem. Without either of them knowing the other was going, Mick books them a stay at a romantic secluded cabin in hopes that they'll finally realize their attractions for one another, and finally admit to themselves that they belong together.

This short, but oh so sexy, story captured my attention right from the start and had me flying right through the pages in search of what I hoped to be a spicy little happily ever after, and I am happy to report that I got my wish...and a whole lot more!! This was first time reading something from this author and I have to say that I was quite impressed with what I read, so much so, I plan to add more of her books to my reading list! I highly recommend you give this read a try, these two well crafted characters will have you laughing and swooning the whole way through!!

Food, Pleasure, Seduction, and definitely no disappointment!
When two chefs in the kitchen fight to hide their attraction and also rule their trade, they become two of the worse people to work with. So what is their best friend to do... Lock them in a snowy cabin and hope that they can work it all out...
Elaine Masterson is a top pastry chef and a partner in a very successful restaurant with fellow chef, Trevor MacMillian. The only problem is that Trevor is too sexy for his own good and has no too much attititude!
With these two characters they were both hiding their emotional baggage and acting crazy because of it. It caused everyone around them to feel the tension in the kitchen! So what better way to cool off a hot head but send him to a cabin in the middle of a snow storm... Unfortunately, his partner, and sometimes timid pastry chef, is also on her way there. The battle that these two fought within themselves was enough to melt the snow, but the beauty of the story was bringing the characters together.
There wasn't a rush to love. There wasn't a rush to the fire. The sweetness of the two built and it grew. While they battled daily, there was a lot more to the emotions between Elaine & Trevor!
SnowBound Seduction was a quick, sexy read. I got into it quickly and the characters kept me entertained. The added SPICE in the kitchen and the HEATED COMBUSTION in the bedroom was enough to melt the snow! Another Spicy Winner for Melissa!

I love romances that have a foodie theme, and Snowbound Seduction by Melissa Schroeder has that and so much more. This novella is about executive chef Trevor MacMillian, pastry chef Elaine Masterson, and their mutual friend Mick, who co-own a thriving restaurant in the bustling city of Atlanta. Unfortunately, Trev and Lainey don't get along most of the time, which has become problematic. So without their knowledge, Mick arranges for them to get away for a weekend together. The outcome, a hot, happily ever after.

I really enjoyed this book and Ms. Schroeder packs a lot of story into less than 100 pages. Trevor and Elaine are likable, interesting and hot. In addition, the cuisine descriptions are truly scrumptious, and I became quite hungry. Overall, this is a well written novella with great characters that have a smoldering chemistry.

Snowbound Seduction was a quick, short read. I enjoyed the concept of partners trying to avoid a deeper relationship and the tension that ensues from that. Trev is crazy about Lainey and as a defense he does everything to irritate her. He's determined to keep his distance to preserve the business relationship.

Elaine is very structured and controlled. She avoids relationships with men even when she's attracted to them. She tries to avoid that emotional connection with everything she has. So when they end up stuck together in a snowstorm avoidance is the key. Only Lainey can't hid what she wants from someone so in tuned with her, and Trev is definitely that guy.

I enjoyed the quick pace of this story, the connection between Lainey and Mick and the chemistry between Lainey and Trev. The characters were well written and I loved the constant tension and the soft side of Trev that we see. I love his grand gesture and the HEA.

A short and sexy little thing.

Trevor and Elaine work together, but can’t stand the sight of the other. Because they work as chefs at their new restaurant (with another friend as well), this tension is getting everybody upset. So, to try to fix things, their friend sets them up for a few days at his cabin… without the other knowing.

There is a lot of tension between these two, and as the story advances we learn a great deal about why they are the way they are, particularly with Elaine.

This was a short story, but it has a lot of depth and was able to have a beginning, a middle and an end, without rushing things; as is usual for most novellas.

It was a fun story, not sure if it’s the start of a new series, but if it is, it sounds interesting.

It is a fun and lighthearted short novel. Trevor and Eliane are both chefs at a restaurant, they are also business partners along with their friend Mick. Who is sick and tired of their constant fights. So he thinks it's time for an intervention. He just wants them to sort out their personal issues with each other and get along in the kitchen. Sometimes they do act like children but mostly they are just trying to deny mutual attraction. When they are alone in the snow storm a lot of things falls into places and soon they find that they really cannot live without each other...
It's a books for anyone looking for a fun, romantic read. Story doesn't start too well. For me, it took a while to connect with the characters but overall it was a great book.

I liked the idea behind this one, with the enemies to lovers idea, but in the end it just seemed way too rushed. I would have loved to see more of their banter back and forth as well. It seemed as if things progressed a little too quickly after their night together. I could have been okay with them expressing their feelings of love since it had been building for months but I thought it proposal was just a bit much. I would have liked to have known more about the characters backstories too. The author gives you small snippets but not enough to get a feel for the character.

Snowbound Seduction by Melissa Schroeder was a very short but sweet novella. As another reviewer remarked, there wasn't much seduction going on, but regardless of the title, it was a good story. I like it when you get the H/h with the same job who come at it with different perspectives. Trevor and Elaine were pretty well written even though it was really short. I would have liked the story to be longer such that there were more scenes between them. I'd like to read more about Mick too.

I enjoyed this short novella! Trev and Lainey are both chefs, executive and pastry, respectively. They own a restaurant together in Atlanta, along with their friend Mick. They are constantly sniping at each other and fighting like crazy, so their other partner send then to a cabin in Canada to work out their issues. Of course, their main issue is that they want each other and don't know what to do about it! They get stuck at the cabin due to a blizzard and one thing leads to another...

It was a very sweet story. It had funny moments, and sexy moments and I really liked the H/h's chemistry. Overall, it was a winner!

Melissa Schroeder teases and tempts readers with the delicious sexual tension of Snowbound Seduction.

The animosity flying in the kitchen between Trevor and Elaine has nothing on what the two truly feel for each other and are afraid to show it. When the two stubborn chefs get tricked into a weekend alone it put up or shut up time for them both.

A quick, read that's sweet and tempting. I loved the witty, back and forth banter between Elaine and Trevor. Their tension turned passion is as delectable as the dishes they create. Enemies to lovers are some of my favorite stories, Trevor and Elaine will make your mouth water.

This one is fun, light, and sexy. Perfect read for a lazy afternoon.

Any one who knows them would swear that Trevor MacMillian and Elaine Masterson hated each other. There is such a fine line between hate and lust though and these two have been hiding behind that line. That doesn't help their partnership in a restaurant, so when the third partner tricks them into an overnight stay in a secluded cabin he knows that one will come out victorious or they'll both come out finally admitting what they've been fighting all this time.

A good read I would definitely recommend.

I thought this was a cute, sexy quick read. how can you not fall in love with Trevor and Lainey.

it's a novella, so you have to go into this knowing it's going to be short and sweet. and it was just that, literally. with all the talk of food, how could it not be?

I would've really loved more Lainey and Trevor. the happily ever after, the work environment. all of it. I want it.

this author was new to me, but I like the way she writes. she had me from chapter one.
