5 Yay it's finally Quinn's book Stars

So I have read every book in this series so far. Since book one I have been longing for Quinn's book, and now having finished his story I find myself sitting here hugging my kindle going awe Quinn! I just loved tattooed, bike riding, bad boy Quinn so much. This book was so good I am just floating on a cloud of happy feels. It was everything I hoped for and more.

Quinn was just so yummy. He was smart, strong, protective, and had a goofy playful side. He was so loyal to his family. Dependable, holding his family and their business together. I also loved that he had an artistic side. There was just so much to Quinn's personality. Kiera was iffy for me at first. I love Quinn so much that when I found out that she hurt my Quinny I kinda wanted to punch her in the face. But then I found out she didn't know she hurt him so I warmed up to her. I liked that Kiera was so outgoing. She was smart, sweet, and she not only believed in herself but she believed in Quinn.

I love friends to lovers books, so to find out that Kiera and Quinn have been friends since they were little kids and that Quinn has been in love with her the whole time just made my day. Their back story was so sweet. They had some smoking hot passion. One of the things I love the most about this book, besides Quinn, is the Kavanagh family. Through this series I have fell in love with the whole, huge, loud, nosy, loving, bad ass family. They all hold a special place in my heart and I love reading about them. The HEA was great and made me smile so big. I loved this book and I can't wait for the next book (Jimmy?) in this series.

4 It's Always Been You Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free
How hard it must be to find Your Person when you are young...There can be at first this ease and wonder... and then the developing of understanding... there might be something serious going on between you...But when you realize this is LOVE...it can either be the most wonderful thing ever with a HEA already to happen...or it could be the wrong timing...because at 18...the world is out there with all of the dreams and goals your had dreamed of... waiting to take place....

In this 4th installment of the Kavanagh Legends series and Sarah Robinson has brought us right back into the fold of this intense, heartfelt clan. This time we are on Quinn's journey and we have been waiting for this for sometime...

For Quin has been the backbone, the one who was able to save the family's business when things looked the darkest. He has always felt his place was to be there and protect... do as his father wished and hold back any other dreams he may have had...

Because Quinn had a secret he had been holding back from the family....not something he felt they would ever accept or respect... it didn't fit the Kavanagh mold... but it gave him his release and purpose deep down...He would do it just for the pleasure of doing it... even if it never was shared with anyone.

Quinn also had another secret he kept close to the chest...he never got over his first love, his best friend, Kiera.

Together, when they were "Just Friends, they were attached at the hip. He was her confidant, her "person" who would listen and always be there for her. Little did Kiera realize like many young women, her best buddy, her savior in many ways, was head over heels in love with her from the start... and hid it so as not to ruin what they had...

Kiera was raised in a way which made making it on her own the mantra... to not let any man halt her desires or goals... She learned this from her mother's constant warnings from her own life.... and when Kiera and Quinn have a fateful and astounding experience together...Kiera sees what was before her all along... Quinn's love and hers as well...

It scares the hell out of her...She cannot go down this path...She cannot have any attachments or this scary HEA in her life at 18...She makes the decision before she can question it and leaves with out a word to Quinn.

Kiera's actions have huge ramifications....Quinn's heart is destroyed...Their friendship and trust is broken and both of them are damaged by it.

These two come together under very surprising circumstances...KIera has followed her dream of becoming a doctor of physical therapy. She has come back home to do her residency. It has been six years and she has grown as a person...she has missed her best friend but over the times she has been back, Quinn has been cold and unresponsive.

Quinn has been living his life the way he thinks his family has wanted... he has been the force which has made all of the smart business choices for the gym, Legends. He has also managed his brothers' careers. Money has been made; the Gym was saved and the family is back on steady ground. The only thing that hasn't been done is Quinn's desire to do something more rewarding for himself.

Then fate hands Quinn a nasty slap with a near fatal motorcycle accident. Quinn comes out of a grueling recover after months of pain and hard work. He is now set for the last part, physical therapy...and yes, you guessed it...Kiera is his assigned therapist.

This tale has so much going for it... these two have a love for each other that never has died...but they also are skittish, too... and Quinn has good reason. He wants what is best for Kiera... loves her deeply but cannot endure her leaving him again...

This is series has charm, care and heart. The men each have their own personalities so there never feels like an overlap or repeat for me. The chemistry between Kiera and Quinn felt real and the mistakes made were in keeping with their upbringing...All in all there was depth of wanting to be someone, taking the risk to make it happen and allowing love to happen, too.

As I said earlier, this Kavanagh Clan grows on you and I just have this sense there will be more coming... At least I hope so.

"He was still in love with her, and he always would be."
description

Chasing a Legend is the fourth book in the Kavanagh Legends Series. Although each book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series from the beginning. This series showcases the Kavanagh Family. Making names for themselves in the MMA world, each brother has found a special someone to share their life with except for Quinn. It's finally time for Quinn to reclaim "the one who got away."

description
"I promised to protect his heart, and then I broke it. Again."
Dr. Kiera Finley has returned home to work and gain experience as a resident at a local hospital. Imagine her surprise when her former best friend, with whom she shared one night of passion with, ends up in her care as a patient who needs physical therapy after a horrible accident.

Quinn has watched his brothers fall in love and find happiness, and yet, he is still alone. He never imagined he would ever see Kiera again. The shock and awe of seeing her again brings back all of the feelings that he has hidden for all of these years. As Kiera and Quinn reconnect, they face plenty of obstacles along the way. They both must find the strength in themselves to trust and love again. But even if they find themselves again, can they put aside the problems from their past and the questions about their future in order to make a life together.

description
"I like who I am when I'm with you."
Told in dual POV, Chasing a Legend is a stunning second chance romance full of passion and heart. Quinn is a complex character torn between the loyalty he feels for his family and the love he feels for Kiera. His accident causes him to recognize what is most important in life. Kiera is an inspiration with her strong aspirations and her driven focus to become the best doctor she can be. Ms. Robinson never fails to create strong female heroines who overcome their circumstances to find success. Quinn and Kiera offer a beautiful and tender second chance romance full of passion and heart. I love being back with the Kavanagh family and with each book we have a greater glimpse into the lives of each brother and their relationships. The steam factor is off the charts as Quinn and Kiera reconnect. And as the fate of their relationship is hanging in the balance, I could not tear my eyes away!

description

Overall, I highly recommend this series to all contemporary romance fans. Chasing a Legend is a stunning addition to a fantastic series. Second chance romance fans will love every second with Quinn and Kiera. Can't wait to see which Kavanagh family member is next.

ARC received for review

Another great Kavanagh book.

This one takes place three years after the previous book. There's been a marriage and a baby in the Kavanagh family. Quinn has grown up and gets hurt in an accident. Re-enter into his life is his first and only love Kiera/Keeks. They eventually get back together with a lot of sexy bedroom loving, but not without some drama and hurts. Great epilogue.

Now who will be up next Jimmy with her or Casey with him.

Thank you Loveswept for providing an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Quinn Kavanagh had a long time crush on his best friend, Kiera Finley . However, she broke his heart when she left for college without saying goodbye and that time, he's about to confess his feelings for her. 6 years later, Quinn is a talent manager at their family business. One day, he had a motorcycle accident and was severely injured. To recover from his injuries, he needs to undergo physical therapy and surprisingly, the doctor was none other than the woman he fell in love with and the very one who broke his heart.

I really like Quinn and Kiera's story. It's sweet and mellow as they rekindled their romance. Quinn still loves Kiera after all these years but he's a little hesitant to get involved with her again. He has pre-conceived thoughts of her leaving him and he doesn't want to experience that heartbreak again. Though it wasn't Kiera's intention to leave him in the past, she tries to make up for the lost time. They talk about their issues and make their relationship work. The romance between them was good but there's something missing on it. There's a slight miscommunication on the last 15% but it's resolved in the end. Of all the books in this series, this is probably my third favorite.

Chasing a Legend
Kavanaugh Legends #4
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quinn Kavanaugh had his heart broken when his best friend Kiera left him without even saying goodbye 6 years ago. Now after Quinn had a near fatal motorcycle accident, he is in physical therapy only to find out his Dr is no one other than Kiera. She has returned home to complete her residency.
Kiera has a lot to make up for even though she has no idea why. She never knew Quinn had feelings for her. But she can't deny the feelings she has for him now. But can she get him to open his heart back up?

This was such an awesome and romantic story. It was so real and the characters were awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on more of this Kavanaugh family.

Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Well, Sarah Robinson has proved that I can enjoy a book without a whole lot angst or drama in the main plot line. Chasing a Legend is a very sweet and easy read that had me smiling most of the time (except for the part with the dog and my animal loving heart was crushed).

I learned about Sarah when I read her book, Nudes, and immediately loved her writing style. While the Kavanagh series is a complete opposite of Nudes in genre, her writing style is just a strong and intriguing.

Sarah really knows how to get you vested in these characters and keep you glued to the story from start to finish. It's been awhile since I have enjoyed a book where there wasn't a whole lot of drama or angst involved that kept my attention. But Sarah proved that with great writing and strong characters, you can keep a reader interested.

Chasing A Legend is Quinn Kavanagh's story. He's always been the man behind the scenes at his family's MMA gym. He's the manager and agent for not just his brother, but many other talented MMA fighters and put his family's gym back on the radar. But he's got secret passion that no-one even knows about it. He doesn't see it as anything other than a hobby. Until his accident.

Kiera Finley grew up with the Kavanaghs and she was closet to Quinn. Quinn was always there to get her out trouble and step in when need be. Six years ago, before she left for college, she gave herself over to Quinn. What she hadn't realized was how that one night caused unexpected lines to be drawn in their friendship.

Quinn is starting PT as part of his recovery from his accident and Kiera is his new doctor. Neither expected to ever see the other again, especially in these circumstances. Now that everything is out in the open, Kiera is determined to heal more than his physical pains. And that is all I am giving you!!

If you really enjoy HEA books, this is one you have to read. I cried, laughed and cheered these two on. I love Quinn's family (so much so that I am going back and reading the previous books). It's such a sweet and heartfelt read that will leave you with a smile on your face.

I got an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review :) this is the fourth installment in this awesome series, but I have to honestly say... I think it may be my least favourite so far... although I still haven't read the first one... yeah, yeah... I know ;) but I started from book #2 and just never got around to reading that first one ;) will do that eventually, but for now, let's concentrate on this story :) especially since they all can be read as standalones, so it really doesn't matter if you are all caught up, or starting in the middle ;) so how about I will tell you a bit more about this new story... especially since I still liked it... just because it's my least favourite one of the series, doesn't mean it was awful and you shouldn't read it ;) I enjoyed it a lot ;)

I have to start with our main couple... Kiera and Quinn... as much as I adored Quinn, Kiera... yeah... wasn't the biggest fan of her... she just kept annoying me with her childish and pushy behaviour... doing whatever she wanted, not really thinking about the consequences, because she thought she was right... I am not a fan of that type of people in real life as well and I react very badly if someone forces me to do something that I am not ready to do, so maybe that's why she bothered me that much... but when it comes to Quinn... *sighs dreamily* I loved him... but I love that whole family and we will get to them in a second :) theirs was a sort of second chance romance... of sorts... there was something between them a few years ago, but it's a more complicated matter and I don't really want to get into all that right now :) but currently, they meet again, when after his accident she is his physical therapist :) because of my #NoSpoilers rule I don't really want to say anything else about them... but it's also partially because I didn't like Kiera, sooooo... why focus on the negative things ;) and of course she wasn't *all* bad, but her good qualities kept being overshadowed by the annoying things :) not only that, but in this particular book, we had some miscommunication that I am sooo not a fan of... I hate when people just assume they know what is going on and make snap judgments and then stick to them for way too long... ugh... so let me change the subject to Quinn... I adored him... he was much more complex that I expected him to be, which was a very nice surprise... I loved seeing his growth as character :)

Besides our main couple, we had plenty of secondary characters in this story :) especially since Quinn is a part of a huge family... and noisy one, I have to add ;) there are five brothers and one *sister* :) and by that I mean that she's technically their cousin, but was raised with them and everyone treat her like baby sister ;) I love that family :) the way they care for one another, supporting each other when it matters most :) we of course got appearances of all our previous couples, plus a few glimpses of who might just be the main characters in those future stories... and I have to say... I can't wait :) if I would want to tell you all about them, we would be here way too long... ;) but if you are already a fan of them, those group scenes and all sort of interactions between different family members will hit you straight into feels :) but if this is your first dive into this series, you will absolutely fall in love with them, and want to go back and read all other available stories ;)

All in all I gave this book 4 stars :) even though Kiera annoyed me, I still enjoyed the story very much :) I am a fan of Sara's writing style in general, and this series of hers is my fave out of all other novels by her I read so far... :) so even though this particular addition is my least favourite, it's still pretty good compared to a lot of books out there ;) especially since you should take into consideration fact that my dislike for Kiera comes from personal preferences :) I am sure that many of you will adore her :) that is why I am still highly recommending you to check out this book, and this series in general, because if you are missing out on the awesomeness of the Kavanagh clan... what are you doing with your lives?!? ;)

XOXO

This is the fourth book in this series and Quinn and Keira’s story is my favorite so far. This book touched my heart so much! I have been waiting for Quinn’s story and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! Quinn isn’t a fighter in the family legacy. He is the man behind the MMA gym and behind his brothers as manager and agent. He is his father’s right-hand man. After his accident, Quinn questions if he wants to go back working in the family business or changing direction.

Quinn and Keira were childhood best friends and Quinn was in love with her. When Keira wanted to lose her virginity at 18 before she went to college, she couldn’t think of anyone else that she would want to share it with but Quinn. She also had feelings for Quinn but she was heading to college and needed to concentrate on her dream of being a doctor. The night before she left for college, she and Quinn took care of her virginity problem. Quinn wanted to tell her that he loved her but chickened out. The next day, his brother told him to quit moping around the house and go and get his girl. By the time Quinn arrived at Keira’s house, flowers in hand and heart on his sleeve, she had already left without a goodbye. There was a huge misunderstanding between them and their relationship was never the same. She broke Quinn’s heart. My heart hurt for him. I have to admit there were a few times I teared up throughout the book while reading.

Six years later, Quinn is in a terrible motorcycle accident that requires him to have physical therapy. His doctor (who is in residency training) is none other than Keira! He had no idea she was back in town. There is nothing better than an unrequited love story, lost first love, and second chance at love all rolled into one great story!

I love the Kavanagh clan and this book can be read as a standalone but to really appreciate all there is to this series, start from the beginning. The main characters are developed and they had me from the start. The Kavanagh brothers and their families are part of the supporting cast and I felt like I was a part of their family. There is so much involved with this story. Family drama, push and pull between Quinn and Keira, Quinn trying to find himself after the accident and Quinn and Keira trying to work out where they wanted to take their relationship. I was totally entrenched in the story. I don’t want to give you any of the plot points as I feel it needs to be experienced.

I highly recommend this beautiful love story between Quinn and Keira. Nothing better than a love story about the one that got away and the hero that has pined for her for years.

Quinn Kavanagh has always been "smack dab" in the middle of everything. At least when it comes to his family.
Whether it be something as simple as being the middle child of the Kavanagh household. Or as his father's right hand and management head for the MMA talent at Legends Training. Quinn has always had a knack for not being too far from where the action is.

That is...until he isn't.
After the one fateful day, those few unforeseen moments that serve to take him out of the action in a big way.
Changing both his life and the way that he lives it forever.

This fourth offering in the Kavanagh Legends series can easily be characterized as the most heartfelt of the saga.
The reason for this?
The leading man in this tale functions as an integral support for all other people in his life.
Even for his "newly returned" first love gone awry.
One Dr. Keira Finley.
The same Dr. Finely assigned to help him fight his way through the pain and limitations that have plagued him since the motorcycle accident that almost cost him his life.

Leaving readers and characters alike to wonder...
Is the good Dr. strong enough to stay around this time?
Is she truly the balm that Quinn needs to sooth the wounds to both his scarred body and his tattered heart?
Or, will Quinn be left to face the loss of the life that he once knew and the woman that he has never stopped loving...again?

Profound questions aside.
The one thing that sets this book apart from its predecessors in the series?
The fact that Quinn tells his story and lives his life outside if the octagon.
That's right ladies.
This chiseled and toned survivor may have the body of a god. But he has the heart and the talent of an artist.
A fact that until now he has chosen to keep well hidden from those closest.
But with life altering changes facing him on all fronts; who is to say that a change from the strategy of the "art of war" in the ring. To creating art for its own sake, isn't what this leading man really needs.

In any case...
If you want a romance where love, laughter, living, and family are always worth fighting for.
Look no further than the Kavanagh Legends.

Yes! Loved this one! Reminded me of Rory and Clare's book. Books 2 and 3 were kind of blah. But Keeks and Quinn brought it home for me. Although the MMA gym is the backbone of the family, this book is not a sports romance. But that's ok! It was a great story!

I love the Kavanaugh family. Every last one! The timeline jumps ahead 3 years from the last book. This book is second chance love but really, Quinn and Kiera never fell out of love. They just needed to admit it to themselves and each other. They have been best friends their whole lives. After 6 years apart, it was really only a matter of time and some conversation and they were right back to best friends again.

I loved the humor between these two. So sassy and sarcastic. I loved that Quinn needed to redefine himself not only within the family but also in Kiera's eyes. Mostly, that love of family that oozes from this series just makes the book wonderful.

Jimmy is next to fall maybe?? And, oh boy, Casey will give all those boys a run for their money. Any guy she gets serious about had better hold up to the Kavanaugh family.

What can I tell you about this story that other reviewers haven't already said?  Not much probably.

Engaging characters? Check

Decent story line? Check

Interactions between the main protagonists that will just draw you deeper and deeper into the book until you never want to come back out? Check and check.

This is the only book in the Kavanagh legends series that I have read, but that didn't matter.  I think that possibly, coming to this fresh, meant that I didn't have any expectations for this, the fourth book in the series, which means that I can assess it purely on its own merits, rather than what hopes I might have had, if I had come to know Quinn through his brothers' books.

Another well crafted story from this author.

I seriously love this family!

Quinn stole my heart a little in this one! I was a little surprised by a few secrets he was hiding. He is so much more then the tattooed bad boy. He has a side that will just melt you. And Keeks well she was just adorable. I love these two together.

I would highly recommend this series and I look forward to more.

We met and got to know Quinn a little in his brothers' stories. An accident and fate bring back two friends, unbeknownst to either that both are in love with the other, and their story gets a second chance at a happy ending. I fell right back into this world. I was immersed in this story and its characters. There were some hot sex scenes in this book. This couple just clicked and finally get their HEA. This was a good read. I look forward to seeing the next Kavanaugh get their HEA.

When is a sports romance not just a sports romance? When Sarah Robinson is at the helm. Ms. Robinson and her Kavanagh Legends did something that for years I thought was impossible. Introduced me to gripping tales of courage, spirit and living the American dream. Told through the eyes of fictional sports heroes and fans alike. This author enabled me to discover a genre that I had previously shied away from and I've never looked back sense. Chasing a Legend explains why.

Having hope in the face of adversity is never an easy task. Quinn and Kiera have learned that first hand. What they've forgotten is that in order to accomplish anything, a person has to believe in themselves. A lesson we all do well to remember and a point that Ms. Robinson drives home splendidly. Wise advice never gets old and neither does a second chance romance.

I was enjoying reading the story up until we were told that both H & h were with others during the six years apart. Is being faithful and celibate no longer hip for writers to continue writing love stories in which either the H and/or h are with others? I know they broke up but couldn't authors write at least SOME love stories in which the couple stays faithful while apart? There is still a large audience who loves fidelity/celibacy in their fictional romance reads, so why is so much writing devoted to constant cheating & moving on with others?

I don't think I could ever get enough of the Kavanagh clan. This family just fills me with all kinds of fuzzy warm feelings. The fact that they're all ever present in each book just shows how close their bond is. I love that the Kavanagh children are all so very grown, but when their parents are around they revert to being children out of respect and love for Dee and Seamus. It's so freaking adorable.

So far I've journeyed with Rory, Keiran and Kane as they found their soulmates and their life path. Quinn was the one brother I was most curious about. He is the lighthearted, funny brother and is always the one to keep everyone's spirits up. His big heart and sweet demeanor was such a charming characteristic that he slowly made his way to being my favorite.

His story has got to be my favorite in the series. Chasing a Legend is Quinn's second chance at a love lost years ago. His one and only love happens to be the one to help him in his recovery from his accident and his guiding light to a new path in life.

Quinn and Kiera are like two peas in a pod. They were the best of friends for years, so when they reconnect it's not long before they get thier groove back. Both are jokesters and a tad quirky that just made them the most perfect match.

Emotional, funny and passionate, Quinn and Kiera are definitely my favorite couple. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the Kavanagh clan.

FAVORITE QUOTES:
"You're my reason for everything. You always have been."

"I love you, too. I always have, but now it's in an I-want-forever-with-you kind of way."

"Let me fight for you and show you that this is real for me...that you are it for me."

"Quinn, I've been yours since the first day we met over two decades ago."

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.

I have loved every one of these Kavanagh brothers so far and knew that Quinn would be the one to steal my heart. Although he is the manager, agent and promoter of the brothers that are MMA fighters, Quinn has never wanted to get in the ring. He was better behind the scenes or ropes as it may be. But after a near fatal accident, it was a struggle to walk again. He has one passion that no one knows about and that is sculpting. When he learns who his doctor is for his physical therapy, will Quinn be able to let Kiera help him heal without losing his heart to her again?
Dr. Kiera Finley has always wanted to help people and being a physical therapist is the best way she can. When she comes back home to Woodlawn for her medical residency, one of her first patients is none other that Quinn Kavanagh, her childhood friend. After one night of passion with Quinn before she left for college six years ago, Kiera didn't think much about the feelings she had for him that night. But now as she spends more time with him and gets to know him, she is realizing just what those feelings were.
Can she help him heal and both follow their hearts for a HEA? Will Quinn tell his family about his passion for sculpting? What happens if Kiera gets the fellowship in Seattle she signed up for over a year ago? Will they both get their hearts broken in the end?
If you love a good series or even a good MMA story, you can read this one. It can be read as a series or as standalones and you will not miss a thing, but I would recommend reading them all. These Kavanagh brothers are great and the whole family is funny, loving and the best. And I love Sarah Robinson, she can make you fall in love with these stories so easily. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Chasing a Legend by Sarah Robinson is the fourth book in her Kavanagh Legends series. Though this is part of a series, this is the first book I read and did not feel lost. What happens when the one that got away returns when you need her the most?

Kiera and Quinn were the best of friends, until one-night changes everything. Afterwards, she leaves without a word, leaving Quinn heartbroken. Years later, Quinn has spent his time helping to manage his family’s MMA gym. He put his own dream aside for the sake of his family. Doing what was right and expected of him. Then a motorcycle accident almost cost him his life.

Kiera Finley is back home to do her medical residency, as a physical therapist. Her next patient? Quinn Kavanagh, one of her best friends and the one she walked away from all those years ago. Quinn is suffering and struggling to get back to normal, but can the woman who left him heartbroken be the one to help him?

I loved Quinn. He is sweet and charming. I loved his interaction with his family. But when Kiera comes back into his life, he is angry and distant. Kiera was funny, caring and the first to help others. She had her reasons for leaving, but now she is determined to show him how much he means to her. But is it too late?

This is a second chance at love story for two people who find their way back to each other in a very unexpected way. Chasing a Legend was funny, sexy and emotional. I loved seeing Kiera and Quinn reconnect and get to know each other. Now I must go back and read the other Kavanaugh stories!

I love that though this series revolves around the Kavanagh boys and their gym each one has such a unique/different story. I think this one might have been my favorite of the series so far, though I think I’ve said that about each book because I love them all so much!

Quinn was nearly killed in a motorcycle accident that’s left him needing a ton of physical therapy to recover. Since they were kids Quinn has had a crush on his best friend Kiera and when he finally thought they were going to get a chance Kiera disappeared to college without a backwards glance, or goodbye. Now, 6 years later Quinn discovers Kiera is going to be his physical therapist, and he’s not exactly happy about it. He’s not sure how to handle the only woman who has ever held, and broke, his heart. It takes a bit of convincing but Kiera is finally able to convince Quinn to listen to her reasons for leaving the way she did – she’s also able to convince Quinn to face his true passion, art, and his fear that his family will think he’s crazy for pursuing it.

I love Quinn and Kiera together – they’re back and forth banter had me in stitches on more then one occasion. This book is definitely a 5 star on the steam scale, when Quinn and Kiera finally wind up in bed together it’s HOT. I just love the amount of emotion the author puts into this book, it made it difficult to put down, it’s a real page turner. I can’t wait for more from the Kavanagh clan!

3.5 stars - I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

The relationship between Quinn, an injured MMA manager and Kiera, his doctor, physiotherapist and childhood girlfriend is sweet, angsty and complicated.

Caring for Quinn pushes Kiera’s professional boundaries. It was hard to believe that she wouldn’t just hand him over to another doctor when she recognised him. Kiera isn’t the most convincing medical professional and her professional drive didn’t always match her actions in the story -she most often comes across as family focused and broody.

Quinn has spent his life building the family business but his heart is in the artwork he makes in secret. In many ways, this story is about him rebalancing his life to allow him to follow his passions instead of the sense of duty that has been eating away at him.

The near decade long miscommunication between Kiera and Quinn didn’t work for me but I did enjoy watching them reconnect after a long separation. Kiera helps Quinn’s mental and emotional rehabilitation as much as she helps him heal his body. This is a medium heat story with lots of romantic angst and a few very steamy scenes.

I found Quinn’s family a little bit bewildering. I read this as a stand alone novel and it probably should be read in series order as it was difficult to get my head around all of Quinn’s large Irish family. I really don’t understand the Irish American culture where Irish identity, language and culture is exaggerated beyond anything I’ve ever seen or experienced in contemporary Ireland. It’s not just this series - I see it often in American books and on American television and I find it very odd.

Perfection! There are some books you read and when you're done you say "that was good." Then there are those that you keep in your head for a few days (or longer), this book is the later. Their story is phenomenal.

This is Quinn and Kiera. They have history. Young love and what a love it was. When Kiera picks up and leaves for college without a peep Quinn is devastated. He emerges himself in the family business, managing everything, along with his father. He's got a great head for business. During the time Kiera is away, babies are born, brothers are married or have partners and then there's Quinn.
Quinn rides his much loved Ducati and on the way to his Mum's for Sunday dinner he's seriously injured in an accident. His life is changed in many ways and when he gets to rehab, he meets with his new therapist there. Which happens to be Kiera; doing her internship there. She's studying to be a Dr in Physical Therapy.

Obviously neither were prepared to see each other again unexpectedly and Quinn's initial anger while understandable still threw me a little. Kiera's concern was getting him back on his feet again while tending to the relationship aspect as well. Quinn slowly lets her back in, carefully and slowly. The family welcomes her back into the fold with open arms, they are a warm and loving tribe and I love them! I love the wisdom that pours from both parents. Especially their Mum. She's quite the character. The main thrust of the book is the evolution of Quinn and Kiera's relationship and where it was in the past, present and perhaps the future. I can't really say, you'd have to read the book.

This is probably my favorite book to date. There is so much emotion packed into this one that just places the reader right into the story. Meanwhile flipping pages like the mad hatter. Sarah's books are always above and beyond well done. Her plot lines are solid and her characters are living and breathing people, larger than life. I am anxious to see what she has in store for us next! I don't think we've seen the last of the brothers!

Mrs. Robinson never fails to amaze me with her wonderful characters and great storytelling. I cried so have tissues ready. I laughed because some parts are hilarious, especially Keira. The sex was steamy. And all the Kavanaghs are back.
Kiera is funny, gorgeous and working on becoming a physical therapist. She left six years ago after giving her virginity to her best friend of many years, Quinn. She left for school the next day and left him broken hearted.
Quinn is the manager for his brother the MMA fighter and other athletes. He's on his way to meet his brother when he's in a horrible motorcycle accident. He was unconscious for a week and when he woke he couldn't believe all the damage done to his body.
Five months later he's walking with a cane and starting his first physical therapy session. Only to find out his therapist is Kiera. He still loves her but won't have his heart broken again so he remains distant. He has a secret passion and decides to show it to her. The next day she shows up offering to cook for him.
So now they're a couple and life couldn't be any better until she gets accepted to the physical therapy training school in Seattle. She has already decided not to go but when Quinn sees the later he thinks she's leaving him again. So to prevent her from walking away from him, he breaks up with her. He's afraid if she stays she'll resent him later. She leaves and neither is happy. Will Quinn man up and go after his woman or will he lose the love of his life for a second time?

A second chance at love for former childhood friends mixed with a MMA theme!

Let me start by saying Chasing a Legend is the first book I’ve read in series but I managed to follow along without too many issues; obviously those who have read the previous book will probably enjoy it more with full understanding of other characters. This is a second chance at love for former childhood friends mixed with a MMA theme. While there is plenty of sweet and sexy moments, there is an underlying angst within as the two characters have to weave back through the messy issues of feelings both in the present and past.

Quinn and Kiera, who tell the book through dual perspective, have a clear attraction that quickly re-develops between them as their paths cross again as patient and physical therapist. The history of the two is clearly explained and adds a depth to their relationship to help solidify their connection and even the tension that needs to be dealt with. Both characters were strong characters that were clearly developed and I love how the author didn’t just brush away the problems of both characters and actually dealt with the issues.

Sarah Robinson has a smooth and easy to read writing style which completely captures you once you start reading, something that is fast making her a must-read author for me.

Loved this story! To me, Quinn has always been the most intriguing Kavanagh brother and finally we have his story and it's a great second chance romance. Quinn and Kiera shared a night of incredible passion years ago. It meant everything to Quinn but the next day Kiera was gon. Not just from his bed but from their hometown. Sometimes it's difficult to know the right thing to do when you are that young with your life and dreams ahead of you. Kiera made the only decision she felt she could. Leave and pursue her dreams. Now she's back and she can only hope that the now grownup Quinn doesn't distract her to the point of not finishing what she started.

I love this entire series and this is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend this one to everyone.

I love this series, I couldn't Wait to get my hands on this, Quinn is the quiet Kavanagh sibling, he's always in the background so I was eager to find out what makes him tick. This story follows Quinn and his one and only Keira, it's a second chance at first love, friends since childhood, one night together changes everything and breaks Quinn's heart in two. A serious accident puts Keira back in his life, can Quinn put past heartbreak behind him and take a chance at love?
I loved this story, We find out Quinn has been keeping a secret from his family, they are loud and in each other's business all the time so how he managed that I'll never know! We get to catch up with the rest of the Kavanaghs, there's some heartbreak that made me ugly cry and also lots of love, laughter and some new romances brewing! I can't wait to see who gets their book next, I love how every book in this series is different, so I'm eager to see where the author will take us next. This is an amazing series that I can't recommend highly enough
