Mistakes and miscommunication: can fate finally mend broken bonds?

Ten years ago Hope West left her hometown, attempting to outrun dissolved relationships, family secrets, and the broken heart caused by her first love, Samuel Mooney. When unforeseen circumstances force her to return, she realizes that her time away has done little to heal the pain of the past.

Never intending to stay in Woodridge, Hope slowly begins to understand that remaining there may be the only way to secure her future. Blossoming friendships and the discovery of a box of letters revealing the identity of her mysterious father all point Hope in the direction of reconciliation.

As she begins to mend her broken bonds, Sam reenters her life in an unexpected way, forcing her to decide if true love can really stand the test of time.

Always Hope is a good story that will catch the reader attention since the first page even if the plot could be easely figured out.

I've really enjoyed this novel and I will definitely look for some of Heidi Renee Mason previous works.

I grew attached to Hope, our heroine, and I wished she could finally find some happiness after the not so pleasant youth she lived.
Her journey isn't easy,it looks like she is on a roller coaster of emotions but her every struggle and all the challenges the life presented her will be worth it in the end.

While reading the synopsis to this book, I knew it was going to be an awesome book, what I didn't expect was for many of the topics to hit home. They weren't fully related to my situation, but in a round about way some of the story line fit my past. It was a touching story even if you can't easily relate to the storyline.
Hope ran from her past life as soon as she graduated and didn't look back. She left behind her mother, her love of her life and her small town. She never expected to return to Woodridge. She left behind her heart for good reason and now that she is in a midst of a divorce from Jonathan, the man who she ran away per say with after high school she has no choice, but to return home to help her mom who is sick.
Hope has dealt with depression, anxiety and feeling abandoned by her father and mother in a roundabout way. You will see way she feels this way and for good reason. While returning to Woodridge is hard she knows in her heart it is the right thing to do for her mom while she is sick. She is hoping to mend their relationship while hoping she doesn't run into Sam-her heart that she can't let go.
As the story unfolds you see that not only does the past repeat itself in regards to her mom and her, but in the present as well in regards to why she married, Jonathan even though her heart wasn't in it 100%. He felt the same way as they divorced even though for the most part he brought on the divorce. Ok, she did a little, but he knew this going into the relationship.
Sam is just as shocked to see her as she is to see Sam. I honestly thought there was no hope for these two with how things kept blocking the truth from being told. I don't know what was more heartbreaking the story of her mom, her dad or Sam. In the end it all worked out for all involved and we got the answers that we were looking for as did Hope. Her rock was Kelsey throughout this all and Bridget and June were Sam's. This story goes to show you that there is hope in many aspects in life and it may take years or decades to get there, but in the end when it is time it will happen. All things happen for a reason and boy that is true in this story. You just got to have faith and hope-Always.

Hope West is trying to get a grasp on her life and is heading back to her hometown after finding out her husband, Jonathan Grey, was having an affair and that her mom, Margaret was diagnosed with colon cancer.

Hope's relationship with her mom has never been good and it is clear that her mom doesn't want her around but Hope vows to stay and be there for her. But Hope has her own ghosts in town, namely Samuel Mooney, her true love whom she has never gotten over.

When Hope begins to learn the truth about her past and her parents and the events surrounding her relationship with Sam she begins to see the light where she once only saw dark. Will Hope be able to come through it all ok or are there some secrets that were better off buried?

I really enjoyed this book and it grabbed me right from the beginning. There were parts of the book that I could completely relate to which is part of the reason I loved it so much yet I know for some people they will not feel the same.

There were a few things that I had figured out for myself before everything was revealed but instead of being disappointed I was happy that certain things seemed to be working out the way they should. I felt so bad for Hope and how she felt growing up and I was so happy that some peace came to her and her mom before it was too late.

I can definitely relate to the relationship of Jonathan and Hope in that she used him as a means to escape her problems, knowing that she wasn't giving him her whole self. That part definitely hit home for me and I was so glad that she got out of it, knowing it was for the best.

I felt bad for everything that happened with Sam when they were young and although I can see where Hope pushed him towards Annie I was definitely still mad that everything occurred the way it did. I loved how June truly loved Sam! The whole situation was very sad but sometimes through the hard times good things do happen and work out the way it was meant to be.

This was the first time I have read this author and it definitely won't be my last!

I thoroughly enjoyed Always Hope!

Struggles with the past. Anxiety and mistrust. Hurtful relationships. Miscommunication. Healing. Hope!

I enjoyed the Whole book, but I also had a favorite spot, which made me cry. Always Hope, the name of the boat.

Always Hope by Heidi Renee Mason is a real, emotional and tantalizing story. Hope believed that when she left home at age 18 to marry Jonathan, she would be rid of her estranged relationship with her mother, the broken dreams, pain and promises, and the town of Woodridge, Washington. She also felt that Jonathan was the answer to her problems. He would whisk her away to a new life and a new beginning, never to return to Woodridge, Washington again. But isn't life interesting in how cyclically it can evolve? In Always Hope by Heidi Renee Mason, the past reared its ugly head when, ten years later, Hope discovered that her marriage was not at all what it seemed to be and her mother was diagnosed with cancer. A story with a happy ending

This author never disappoints with her beautiful writing, and Always Hope is another winner for Heidi Mason. Hope isn't only the main character's name, but it's the running theme of the book. There are a lot of uplifting moments that leave the reader with a song in their hearts. Don't pass this one up! Once you start reading, you won't be able to put it down.

I had the feels!

I must say that a few things were predictable but the story played out so well that even the predictable parts were beautiful. I thought the beginning of the story dragged on and on... But the middle and end were beautiful! Just for that, Ms Heidi, it's 5 stars from me! I loved all the feels! 😂

This author can tell a story, but it was so over the top ( Annie’s wish ?) ugh .. if you want true love, Max and Maggie is it. Hope and Sam? Yah , not so much . I think of this was Max and Maggie’s story it would be 5 stars , but Hope and Sam?? Nope . Sam slept with that witch , so how do you forgive that ??? Hope was too cliche and desperate after 10 years ?? It was just pathetic

Hope returns to her hometown after leaving ten years earlier and marrying a man that she didn't really love. The past holds much pain and many secrets for her, and she isn't looking forward to dealing with a mother who didn't love her and the ghosts of her first love, Sam.

The plot was good, but relatively predictable, although I don't mind that- I love a good HEA, which this was. There were many subplots that were good, as well. It was well-written. Unfortunately, I felt like things were just too simply solved. Everything wrapped up nicely and easily. A little too easily for me. But I did enjoy and will more than likely read more from the author.

This book was so sweet. It was more then just a second chance romance, it was more like a second chance at life. Besides Hope getting her many second chances, her mom also got a second chance at love and life.
Hope was in love with Sam but after a big fight, life took another direction. Fast forward 10 yrs later and while things look bad for Hope, she makes the best of a bad situation. Once she changes her attitude and learns to forgive, things start falling into place. I really like Hope as a character; she's strong, forgiving and loyal. Hey life is suddenly turned upside down and she takes it with a smile on her face. I know I said it already but this was a really sweet book
