Forbitten is a fast paced, entertaining fantasy, that introduces us with a world where humans and vampires live in unity and are exchanging govern in New York City.
Lord Vladimir is a vampire legend, awaken to serve as a protector to the city and his mission sidetracks when he sees Trinity, a young woman who hates the vamps, cause of the loss she suffered in the great war between humans and vamps before the present agreement was achieved.
But the pull is stronger and hard to resist, even if Lord Vladimir is restraining himself from the agonising pulsating desire towards her.
There's something about Trinity that is hightened in impulse and the blood drive is undeniable, but when the demons called Dyciphers come rushing through the city causing havoc and rage, Trinity ends up on the short end when she's taken and sentenced to her death, thinking she was just a misfortunate collateral victim.
The only ruling that applied as the core of the human/vamps agreement was not to bite unless they are a willing donor. And yet, Trinity was in Lord Vladimir's hands, on the verge of dying and he could not have let that happen. And he heals her.
Rule no.1 broken.
He stays away, overseeing her from a distance BUT not for long as the demons don't give up and the chase on Trinity's life happens again and this time it all comes together as the prophecy – of her blood being the crucial segment to opent he portal of Hell - comes to surfice.

Lord Vladimir choses to break rule no.2 - turning her into a Vampire, even if he doesn't know what the aftermath would do to Trinity's body after he does the FORBITTEN.
He'll do the unthinkable cause there is no other way for him to exist, and he won't stop at nothing until he keeps her safe in no whatever the form she comes back, no matter the consequences...
To make her my everything...Mark her as mine.
BUT the deed must not be revealed ever. Trinity, as she is now turned into a vamp-demon mix, must be kept a secret and the prophecy must not EVER to be awaken...
yeah, well, that's not the way things work in this story... *wink*
The Lady Trinity, the second installment, will hopefully give us the needed answers...

This was a fantastic, well written, roller coaster ride full of twists and turns.
In a world where vampires and humans co-exists, rules are put in place to keep the peace in the great city of Manhattan. But as we know, rules are meant to be broken, and Vlad plays by his own rules.
Vladimir is the Lord of his Brood and he is awaken to serve as protector of something heinous that is seeping through his beloved city. He's arrogant, beautiful, strong, and does things his own way...
And when he sees Trinity, all bets are off...all rules are broken...and his cold heart now beats heated and strong, unlike nothing he has ever felt.
Trinity hates vampires and anything else that isn't...human. She's beautiful, smart, and strong willed. But she finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, coming face to face with those she detests.
The immediate connection between Trinity and Vladimir is sexy and thrilling, and the twists and turns of the other characters surrounding them, pulls you deeper into the story, keeping you glued, page by page.
This read is sexy, angst driven, and dark. JP writes a beautiful tale of love, desire, and WAR!
But something dark approaches and nothing is what it seems...

Now being honest I had no idea what to expect because honestly whilst I do enjoy reading a bit of anything and have read Paranormal Romance before I had no idea what this book would be like, so when I picked it up I was excited by the story line but I found it to be a bit too fast paced. Don’t get me wrong I understand that no matter what book you read the pace is either going to be fast, in the middle or slow, you just have to make sure that you know which one you are aiming for. However even though it was a bit too fast than anything I have read, I do think that what the story told you was pretty amazing. I was hooked till the end, however I will warn you that this isn’t a very long book, so when you get to the end you’ll not be expecting it. But honestly I did enjoy this book, I would suggest that you do pick it up because honestly each and every paranormal book is different, so take my word for it.
Now this book is about a girl who is pretty much against all Vampires, where she lives humans run about and own the city in the day but then as soon as night approaches that’s when all the Vampires come out to play and to also patrol the city. When one of the top Vampires happen to come across her, her life changes forever but little does she know this. The events that take place will shock you although at the same time you will just want this book to keep going.

This is not your typical paranormal vampire romance. Wow this book blew me away. Well done J. P.! I was saddened to find out I have to wait til 2017 for the next book to find out what happens to our heroine, Trinity. The girl goes from a vampire - hating human one minute to a not sure what she is vampire/hybrid the next. There is definitely a hodge podge of romance/erotica, violence, angst, betrayal and everything in between. I very much enjoyed this book. It was well written and had a great flow to it.

The problem was Trinity hates what he is, so she wants nothing to do with him. Lord Vladimir ends up rescuing her over and over, but Trinity was one tough cookie. When one tragic turn of an event changed Trinity, Lord Vladimir will stop at nothing to keep herself. This is a fast paced romance and insta-love kind of story. Breaking the rules is what this story is all about. If you are into a fast pace romance, this is it. Can’t wait to see where this story goes.

This was a novella in preparation for the Lady Trinity realising in 2017. The story was a very easy read and whilst I enjoyed the book, I felt the story was very rushed. Big events happened in a short time, whilst the unbelievable, was somehow just accepted. I mean, turning into a monster is ok right?
Based at a time where vampires and humans live together, the story focuses on Trinity, your average girl who hates vampires and Lord Valdimir, a very old respected vampire who is legendary in vampire history. He is drawn to Trinity, who just wants a career in fashion and not become a legal donor.
That said, I do expect Book 1 to be really enjoyable and good. Already I know the author can write an action packed supernatural story with monsters not heard of.

Trinity hates vampires but unknown to her one of the baddest vampires ever Lord Vladimir seriously has the hots for her even going so far as to give her his blood to heal her when a dycipher attempts to kidnap & turn into a winged beasty like them . This book is not your run of the mill vampire story , Vladimir is a bit of a vampire rebel & Trinity at times seems to be a trouble magnet , i loved the bits of humour in this book & thought Trinity's way of dealing with her ex boyfriend & his new love was to say the least unique , looking forward to more of the same , J p Uvalle has quickly become one of my favourite authors .

Surprisingly good! I'm not a fan of paranormal stories, but I admit I was pleasantly surprised by this fast paced sexy Vampire read. This is the story of Vampires and mortals coexisting in a society that humans offer blood to the Vampires. Trinity is a mortal who does not like Vampires and refuses to participate in donating blood, but Lord Valdimir a respected and legendary Vampire, has other plans. Twists and turns had me reading this little gem in one sitting!

I loved this story!!. Set in a world where humans and vampire live side by side as well as other deadky creatures. Trinity is human and is being pursued by Vladimir , Lord of the vampires . He is a badass with a twist!!. Trinity hates vampires but can't seem to help but be drawn to him .Their story unfolds rapidly in this short book but is packed with twists, heated moments and plenty of intrigue!!. . Very X citing read !!
