Oh my! I fell in love with this story! Without a doubt, Bear Christmas Magic is one of the most heartwarming paranormal Christmas stories I've read this holiday season! I've been a fan of Ariana Hawkes for several years and try to never miss any of her releases. I adore paranormal romance and completely smitten with sexy shifters so when I can find both in one captivating package, I'm a very happy girl and Ariana Hawkes has delivered the perfect combination in this emotionally stirring Christmas tale. Bear Christmas Magic is an imaginative, fast-paced, well-crafted full-length standalone paranormal holiday tale filled to the brim with danger, drama, mystery, suspense, angst, and sweet romance liberally seasoned with the heartwarming magic of the holidays and sprinkled with uplifting Christmas miracles. The narrative was beautifully written with an alternating his and her third person narrative. The dialogue was well executed and flowed effortlessly. But my favorite component was the large, diverse cast of fascinating characters. I was hooked in the first chapter and remained glued to my ereader through the entire story. I fell in love with the two protagonists, sexy bear shifter Sawyer Hunterville and sweet, warmhearted bakery employee Harlow Brinkman who was no longer in touch with her bear. Sawyer was the clan leader and ringmaster for a traveling circus of performing shifters but Sawyer was on a personal mission to discover where he came from, what happened to his family and how he came to be adopted by the original owners of the circus which is the reason he and the Moonrise Wonderland Christmas Circus ended up in the mysterious unfriendly town of Windy Hollow formerly know as Mistletoe Hollow. My heart broke for Sawyer and especially for sweet Harlow who always tried to see the best in people, even the cruel, unhappy residents of Windy Hollow. This story reminded so much of the well-known Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol, in an abstract way. The hero and heroine had to uncover the misdeeds of the past and deal with them in the present in order to hopefully secure a happy future for everyone but instead of one Scrooge, this story had an entire town full. And I admit, Hawkes really had me on the edge of my seat, scratching my head and wondering what the heck was going on. But as a true believer in Christmas miracles, I knew there would somehow be a happy ending for the characters, despite all the hardships along the way and Hawkes didn't disappoint. I laughed a little and cried a lot but by the end, I was happy, satisfied and well entertained. Did I like this story? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adults since it does contain several steamy love scenes. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! I also purchased Bear All I Want For Christmas Box Set with three more holiday stories by Hawkes which I can hardly wait to read! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Sawyer was raised by the former owners of the circus but they'd never explained how he came to be with them and the circus. Sawyer had come up empty with no leads at all until now....until Windy Hollow formerly known as Mistletoe Hollow. There was something about the isolated unwelcoming town that called to him even with its hostile reception and dark aura shrouding the town and its unfriendly residents with a sinister, mysterious element affecting every resident except the beautiful Harlow Brinkman. Sawyer and his crew were booked to perform a holiday show but Windy Hollow didn't celebrate Christmas...nor any holiday. There were no Christmas decorations, no holiday spirit and definitely no holiday cheer. At least Sawyer found one thing in Windy Hollow...his mate, the only ray of goodness in the whole town...beautiful, kindhearted Harlow Brinkman but could he and Harlow work together to discover the answers they both seek in order to find their happy-ever-after... and just maybe save the town in the process. Stories range from enjoyable to stupid. Some of these I have read before.
1 - BEAR HOME FOR CHRISTMAS box set
Poor desperate Noelle had been alone and in foster care since she was 10 years old. Since the last foster family to have her physically abused her to make her behave, Noelle became an unemotional robot just going through life. This carried over until the present day and impacts her making bad decisions and behaviour.
Really feeling depressed she decides on a whim (bad decision again) to get on a bus and to go see the only ex foster parents that were the only people who were ever kind to her.
Turning up in town she gets a rude surprise as they are no longer living there.
Feeling really sad for herself she goes into a café and cries.
Enter Grainger, bear shifter, ex special forces soldier on the hunt for his runaway brother.
Grainger is drawn to Noelle, his bear telling him she is their mate. He asks her to accompany him and help on his search.
What happens next becomes a life changing trip and ends up with Noelle doing some much needed thinking and prioritising of her life.
Falling in love with Grainger was no hardship either as he was wonderful and caring. Having her very own bear shifter mate and his wonderful family, Noelle will never be unloved or alone again.
A very enjoyable feel good story.
BEAR CHRISTMAS MAGIC
Whilst I enjoyed this book I thought the explanation for why the town was like it was and what had happened to Harlow’s mother just a bit pathetic. No mother would leave her mate and child for 20 years on the word of some elder/seer. Surely you would just move towns rather than live being told crap like that.
BEAR MY PERFECT GIFT
Not my perfect read. The behaviour in this book makes it a total turn off.
Caleb is lonely and wants a mate and cubs so decides to go out and look for her but before he leaves on his search he has sex with his friend Rita. That did not endear me to him at all.
Then Caleb meets his mate in a diner but she is a doormat who is staying in an abusive relationship with a wolf shifter. Sorry I just had no respect for Paige. I don’t care if Kurt threatened her family, grow some balls. She runs off with Caleb, then when Kurt kidnaps her stays quiet instead of yelling her head off so Caleb can save her and fight Kurt off.
When Caleb does finally fight and kill Kurt they dispose of his body and car in a frozen lake and it is all sunshine and drug money.
So not what I expect from this author. Really didn’t like Paige and whilst Caleb could have been better he lumped himself in with Paige with his actions.
Such a pity as books 1 and 2 were great Christmas stories.
BEAR MINE FOR CHRISTMAS
What a perfect Christmas read.
Second chance romance with a good story, no angst and lots of happiness.
Liked this whole group we meet in this book. Madison and Brock were lovely together and I really had a happy buzz when I finished this book.
It was really good too that the sister and their mother all seem to have HEA’s as well. How wonderfully cute.
POLAR BEARS CHRISTMAS
Everly was lovely if a bit soft allowing her parents and family to treat her that way.
Heath was a bit of an idiot to me and really only sort of redeemed himself at the end. Loved the children in this story though and the ending was so lovely, really heartwarming.

Beautiful story!
Small town life has a history of being drastically different than other places. This book shows how different that can be and also how it can happen.
Sawyer has always known that his parents weren't his biological parents and has spent a lot of his adult life trying to find then. It's a hard task when you have very little information to go on.
Harlow grew up in what can only be described as a miserable town. Laughter is a rare commodity there. It's jus been her and her dad for as long as she can remember.
Sawyer and the circus come to town and her whole world changes, literally!!

Can you imagine living in a town where you're not allowed to celebrate anything at all? The doom and gloom that settles over a whole town is just crazy and add high winds to that, even crazier. Harlow, Carrie, and Rebecca live in such a town and out of the three of them two are pretty upbeat despite everything. When a circus rolls into town things start to change, especially for Harlow. Secrets are revealed and mysteries are solved and the magic of Christmas wraps around everyone. Ariana Hawkes brings Christmas to life in a small town and brightens up everything.

Beautiful
I loved the characters of this story and the plot was awesome best shifter story by far. It was so unpredictable which is unusual with shifter books. I also love how there wasn't any of the blood and gor and fighting that I usually see among the shifter books. My favorite shifter book by far.

Then this fantasy and genuine love makes this a most delightful read from the first page to the last. If you adore the fantasy with mind-blowing romance that's well written you will enjoy this. The characters are convincingly realistic, engaging and lovable. The chemistry between the main characters makes you want to believe in love and will melt your heart and pull on it strings. This is a Magnificent romantic story. It will leave you feeling happy and in the Christmas Spirit. Do you believe in Fate, Do you believe in Christmas, have you been Lonely at Christmas. Then this fantasy and genuine love makes this a most delightful read from the first page to the last. If you adore the fantasy with mind-blowing romance that's well written you will enjoy this. The characters are convincingly realistic, engaging and lovable. The chemistry between the main characters makes you want to believe in love and will melt your heart and pull on it strings. If you love romance and in need of some Christmas spirit this is definitely a fabulous choice, the story not only puts you in the mood for Christmas, it's a fantastic deal! What's a little Magic, Snow, Wind, Mystery Sorrow, Violence, Hate, gosh out of all this can you get Love? Ms. Ariana packs it all in that for sure. This really is a phenomenal Christmas story, I definitely recommend this one. You won't regret it.

Apparently some twenty-year ago, something happened but it taboo to talk about and no one does.

All I want for Christmas, that's all we ever think about when the Holiday comes around, but not Willow Hollow it is the gloomiest town and they don't celebrate any holidays especially Christmas for the past 20 years. It used to be called Mistletoe Hollow, what happened to make it this way, what mystery surrounds this town of shifters?
Harlow, Carrie and Rebecca live in the gloomy town of Willow Hallow, have never and have no expectations of ever seeing the light, they have never even seen their bears, but Harlow always sees the light in everything. When the circus comes into town she really sees the light in the form of a very good looking man. She is very excited about having the Circus in town, but she knows no one in town will ever go, but that won't stop her from seeking out the big top and one inhabitant in particular.
Saywer a bear shifter is the Ring Master of the very unique circus and Clan leader of a diverse variety of shifters that make it up. They have been very successful under his leadership, but aside from looking out for his clan and the circus, he has had his own personal motives for always booking in small out of the way towns. His spirits lift even more when his bear gets a look at Harlow, there still may be hope for the town
Will the circus be able to get the town of Willow Hollow back into the spirit of Christmas and back to what it once was, Mistletoe Hollow? Will Sawyer find the answers he seeks?

Another great story from this author and a wonderful Christmas one also! Sawyer and his traveling shifter circus travel around mainly to small towns to perform but also because Sawyer is hoping to find where he from. This Christmas they stop in Mistletoe Hollow but it's no longer called that because of something that happened in the past that changed the town. No-one ever talks about what happened and are as gloomy as the town. Harlow is the sunny one of her and her best friends and is thrilled when the circus arrives, especially when she meets Sawyer. As things heat up between them secrets are finally told. Now the town can can finally shake off it's gloominess and hopefully Sawyer and Harlow can find forever together.
This story puts you in the holiday spirit while giving you a romance full of heat! Sawyer wants to find out about his past and when he meets Harlow he wants her as part of his future. It's great how he wants to find out about himself but he also knows that he has to do what's right for his circus family and if that means to leave without finding answers or Harlow then that's what he'll do. This is a story that will put a smile on your face!

Anya Nolan has done it again. This is one touching story and contains a mystery. Sawyer is the ringleader of a traveling circus of shifters.and is also looking for where he comes from. The have booked a Christmas show in the town of Mistletoe Hallow. Mistletoe Hallow is now Windy Hallow and the town is cursed or so they think.
Harlow meets Sawyer when he asks for directions to the campground. The town folks are not a welcoming group and burn down the circus gift of a tree. Harlow hides Sawyer and some of the performers in her home, until her father calls Sawyer "Sam". How does he know him? Will Sawyer and Harlow overcome the curse? Will Sawyer find his family and how he ended up with the circus?

But when a circus comes to town, with a tall dark handsome Sawyer as their Ringmaster. Unknown to them, they will bring all types of emotions, even ones filled with hate as they set up their big top tent. Till finally at last the truth will be set free.
Hopefully no one will be hurt in the process.

Sawyer Huntersville is the owner of a shifter circus and he comes to town looking for answers but the town would rather run then out of town on a rail then have them in their town. Harlow Brinkman is captivated by the sexy stranger and his circus crew but she never expected the whole town to be against them. Together the pair hunt down the answers that hopefully will heal them and the town.

This was another wonder story written by Ariana Hawkes. We get to see a little bit of a Christmas wish come true in the gloomy and dark town of Willow Hallow. The town is looking for a miracle, they have never seen happiness or their bears. Harlow is always looking for the chance of change to come to her town. Will that happen with the circus and the Ring Master. Just love the story between Harlow and Sawyer and what they do to be together and heal the town. Highly Recommend this book

Harlow is a very up beat person living in Windy Hollow with friends that are so negative. The folks are strange and refuse to talk about he past. When Sawyer and his Circus roll into town, things start to change. The past is called out and secrets are revealed. A love is born that no one can stop. Excellent writing with a twisting storyline that will hold you captive.

The town has lost all joy due to happenings twenty years ago. The way the town comes back and other unforeseen events bring Mistletoe Hollow back to the town it used to be. Excellent book.
