Loving Eva is the second book in the EVA series by Camellia Hart. The series must be read in order. In Loving Eva, Eva and Clive are back, and as they continue to grow closer together, the demons from their past threaten to tear them apart.
description

Loving Eva picks up directly after Chasing Eva. Clive and Eva are finally together, and they are blissfully happy. Eva is still unsure about the future of her company, and her life is still very much in danger. With Clive by her side, Eva finds peace like she has never experienced before. But with the FBI and the questions about her uncle, and Olivia, Eva and Clive have a long road ahead before they can find their HEA!

description

Told in dual POV, Loving Eva is a tender and sweet contemporary romance with mystery, suspense, and passion. In this installment, we explore Clive's past and how he has overcome so much. We experience the moments when Clive and Eva first met as teenagers and their transformation together as adults. The mystery of Eva's father's passing continues to loom and the stakes are high for Eva and Clive to find a way together! I am certainly invested in seeing where this saga ends. Contemporary Romance fans who enjoy a tender hero and a spunky heroine will fall in love with Clive and Eva. Their romance is sweet and full of passion!

description

Overall, Loving Eva is sure to please contemporary romance fans who enjoy a sweet and tender romance with mystery and action! With each twist and turn of the plot, I am more captivated by these characters. I am looking forward to seeing Eva and Clive find their HEA!

Loving Eva picks up right where Chasing Eva ended and the continuous danger threat on Eva's life continues as she learns more about her late father's involvment with the FBI in order to find out who the informant, the one set out to destroy her legacy, the one who is considered a major suspect in her father's murder but there's still no solid proof.

Even though Eva won't step down and go hide into the safe corner out of fear, she becomes vary of her surroundings
Trust no one.

And her relationship with Clive is setting some hard grounds, they are solid, she trusts him completely, and he's overly protective of her but she still doesn't want to be smothered by it
Over everything else she wanted freedom, and he'd always remember never to take that away from her.

but the past is merciless and doesn't ask for permission whether it appeared at the right time...and Clive's past followed by the guilt over the death of only second person he loved at one point in his life and now, Eva is waiting for him to tell her himself...and he's holding it off...until the events outuside the box, put the pressure on him to let go of the guilt...
You're about to blow what you have with the only true love in your life? Don't let your past confine you.

But the danger still lingers on and it's getting even closer...

this was fast paced just like the first book, but here we get more of Clive and Eva, with insights into Clive's past that haunts him. Even though I sometimes felt like the descriptive elements of certain events in the book where in fact unnecessary, in my humble opinion, I'm looking forward to see where the author will take Eva and Clive, with the pending closure in her final installment.

His teenage crush is now his and Clive will have to rely on everything his past has taught him, including his FBI training to keep Eva safe from the demons that stalk her. But Clive is not free from his own demons as another who once needed him haunts his thoughts and his perceived failings. Maybe it’s time to share everything with Eva, not just his heart and his body.

Eva learns more about a connection between her father and the dangers that plagued both himself and his company. He was murdered, the company reputation battered and now, with Clive's connections, Eva is determined to find out who is behind it all and why.

The only person Eva believes she can count on to keep her safe is the over-protective, ever-confident, Clive. But has their relationship blinded him to all of the possibilities waiting in the shadows?

LOVING EVA by Camellia Hart has ramped up the suspense and it is taut! Clive is becoming more human, more flawed, in other words, growing as a character. I still cannot connect with Eva as she continues to come across as a lust-struck, insecure teen, as opposed to the head of a powerful company.

Lots of detailed sex, heat and a growing threat to Eva with Clive and his connections doing all they can to keep her safe.

I received a complimentary copy from Camellia Hart!

Eva and Clive are closer than ever, the informant's presence is stronger than ever, and I'm hooked on this story something fierce. I'm over here, busy trying to figure out who has it out for Eva, and enjoying the sexy events along the way. I'm still loving the relationship between Eva and Clive, I'm glad she's no longer pushing and pulling and making me crazy, and I'm thrilled that it seems that I'm ever closer to finding out who the bad guy is.

This author's writing has kept me as entertained as ever and I'm looking forward to how she'll wrap this story up in Killing Eva. Will there be a wedding? A funeral? And honestly, who the heck is the person pulling everyone's strings??? I hope you're staying tuned as much as I am!

REVIEW: https://elsentirdeunlibro.blogspot.co...

This is the second book of the trilogy of “In Light of Shadows”. The first one is“Chasing Eva” and the third one is “Killing Eva”.

I have loved this book. I can’t tell a lot of details about this second book because I don’t want to tell something important of the first book or this second. It’s a book that deserves been read and the readers deserve that, while they are reading and enjoying the story, discovering the details.

In this book, we can see the continuation of Eva and Clive’s story. They are in love and although there are lot of things against them, they are strong together and their love is enough powerful to face them. Besides, the author adds in the story something about Clive’s past (something that happened with an old love called Olivia) which is very important to the development of the story, of the plot.

Moreover, the suspense in this book is so addicitve. Because there are things, and even characters, which you don’t expect, and I think that the suspense in these novels is very well taken. And, besides, there are some plot twists, which are fantastic by the way… and you don’t expect. Which is wonderful!

About the characters, I think like in the first book. I believe that Eva’s character is fantastic. Eva is a strong and independent woman who is taking care of an enterprise, facing all the problems. She’s also tenacious and she doesn’t give up.

And, of course, I think the same about Clive. He’s so cute, protector and… romantic. A fantastic, an awesome male character.

Besides, there are more characters, like Izzy, Allie, Carter, Marc, Trevor, Ryan, Claire, Uncle Dave… who contribute a lot to the development of the story.

The romantic scenes are very well written. The author makes you feel what they are feeling. While you are reading them, you’ll sigh, because the dialogues in those moments are so beautiful.

Like in the first book, it traps you from the first page. It’s so addicitive.

About the author’s writing, it’s fantastic. She has such a wonderful skill to create suspense in the perfect moments, to create a wonderful ambient for the love scenes, she has created very well the characters (physically and emotionally, their stories, …). And, besides, she has the ability to make you feel part of the story. Because of her close expressions to the reader, because of her writing, and because the book traps you. It really does.

The main themes are the love (and it shows that, if it is true, it will make you strong and together, you will be able to face whatever), the friendship, truth, dreams, fear, suspense, …

Eager to know how the story ends in the third book of the trilogy. The way that the suspense, the mystery, is finally discovered. The continuation and the end of Eva and Clive’s story. And I really want to know about her friends, Izzy and Allie, who are hilarious and make you laugh a lot. They are incredible characters.

So, all I can say is that a fantastic love story, with suspense, passion and very well written, with wonderful characters and so addictive, is waiting for you to be read. So… what are you waiting for?

I recommend it.

Loving Eva is the second book in the In Light of Shadows Series by Camellia Hart and picks up directly after Chasing Eva, end. The story is told in dual POV.
Loving Eva is a romance novel with suspense, mystery, passion, and romance.

I must say that I enjoyed much more Loving Eva than Chasing Eva. In this book, we learn more from Clive's past and also how Clive and Eva first met as teenagers.
The danger that lurks above Eva's life is more present and much closer. Someone wants her company to go down. And probably her dead...She has a stalker.

Imagine similară

We get a few answers for a few questions, but not much. The mystery continues to grow and the FBI is more active.

Imagine similară

Clive and Eva become a strong couple, although Clive has a crazy ex that doesn't seem to move on and his past has come back to haunt him. Eva is a great heroine because she is strong and she doesn't back down, she doesn't scare easily.

Imagini pentru yeah girl gif

What I didn't like again...the details. Too many details were they weren't needed. I can't wait to read the next book to discover all the answers and especially to find who is the informant and the bad guy.

Loving Eva is a wonderful follow-up to Camellia Harts debut Chasing Eva. The story continues from where Chasing Eva left off and is a a great balance of romance and suspense. Clive and Eva are finally on a solid foundation, but the mystery involving her uncle and the FBI continues to plague them. She's also clearly in the line of sight of someone with rather nefarious intentions, making this a page turner.

While Clive and Eva are more settled as they've found some semblance of a normal relationship and appear more confident in each other, tensions remain as Clive's past continues to haunt them. This unfolds as Clive reflects on a past relationship and guilt he feels around this young woman's demise. He also has a certain ex that just can't seem to move on. Then there's Eva's stalker and the old family friend Ryan who tries his best to interfere in Clive and Eva'as relationship. If outside influences weren't enough of a challenge, Eva's still struggling with self esteem type of issues (exasperated by his ex) and being in her head at times is sometimes maddening. Of course this could all be helped if Clive was just a little more forthcoming.

While a lot happens in this installment and Clive and Eva do seem to move forward and grow as a couple, there's still a few lurking and unresolved items. I started having questions about Ryan and his interest in Eva's life. He's pretty hell bent on taking Clive down and I don't trust him one bit. Her Aunt is another character I'm not so sure about, and what about Clive's ties to Special Forces?
Once again Hart creates a sexy suspense filled story with plenty of red herrings to keep the reader guessing. There's hope for Eva and Clive as they progress in their relationship. I'm very much looking forward to the 3rd installment with the ominous title Killing Eva -->>EEEEEP!!
4.5 stars and recommendation!!

I loved the second book, the sequel to Chasing Eva, it had everything you could ever want in a romance book.
The love story between Clive and Eva continues, however, there are some serious obstacles that come up and it could drive them apart. Someone wants to harm Eva and destroy her company. Clive is determined not to let anything or anyone come between the woman of his dreams. He has been waiting for Eva his whole life and nothing is going to interfere with his goal. He never wants to face a day that Eva is not part of. However, he knows he needs to tell her his darkest secret, before someone else does.
Warning, you need to read Chasing Eva before reading this one, but trust me, you will be happy you did. Both books will leave you sighing constantly, their love is that strong.

This is the follow up book to 'Chasing Eva'. This book has everything you need in a romance book. The same fantastic characters as the first book. This is a fab second book, giving you more of an insight into the characters and there struggles that they face. I definitely have been left wanting and needing more in this series. I cant wait for more in the series and from this author in the future.

Highly recommended

Loving Eva is Book 2 in the In Light of Shadows Series. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering not only what was going to happen with Eva and the business, but with Eva and Clive as well. This book picks up right where book 1 left off and gives a little more background on what was going on in the business with Eva's dad and Uncle before he passed away. With the mysterious informant and his employer still at large Eva is still being threatened and trying to figure out by who. Because she is unsure what exactly the informant wants with her, Eva is trying to ignore him and is continuing to work hard to rebuild the tarnished reputation of her business.

Filled with some serious chemistry between Eva and Clive as well as some heart stopping moments between Eva and the informant, this book has it all. There is romance, thrilling suspense and drama throughout this story. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I can't wait to get my hands on book 3 so I can finally find out who is behind everything going on. By Alisa

I got an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review :) and I have to say that I truly enjoyed this sequel :) because the first thing you need to know about this story, is that's it's the second installment in a trilogy, that revolves about the same couple and a few other things I will mention in a moment, but I highly recommend you reading them in order... otherwise you will definitely have troubles following all the stories in it... :) those books are very connected to one another and since I read the first one months ago... not to mention that I read a lot of books in between ;) it took me a moment to get into the groove of things and to remember certain events and people ;) so trust me, if you haven't read the first book, you will feel lost :) now that we have this explanation out of the way, let me tell you a bit more about the actual book ;)

So first of all, I have to say that writing a review of a sequel, especially in a series where books are very connected to each other, is really hard... :) on the one hand, you have to really be careful and watch out what exactly you're saying, to avoid spoiling certain events from that first book in case the person reading your review haven't gotten to it yet ;) on the other hand, you want to say just enough to actually encourage people to read it... if you liked it, of course :) and I am in exactly this position :) so my review will be a bit shorter than what I usually write, because of those reasons :) so how about I will tell you a little bit about this series in general and then share with you guys my thoughts and feelings about it? that way you'll know the general vibes of this book and this series without spoilers, and based on my reactions, you can see a bit more where it's headed :) so our main couple is Eva and Clive :) they actually met years before, when they were both teenagers, but lost contact... they meet again when they start to work in the same building... Clive is taking care of his family's business, and Eva... well, actually Eva is in the same position :) after the death of her father, she took over his interior design company... :) when they meet again after all this time, sparks start to fly... ;) but before you go all about how it's just another romance... even though there's nothing wrong with them ;) this series actually have a mysterious twist to it as well... ;) because there is an informant who wants to take Eva and her company down... because he works for a person, who holds some sort of grudge about Eva... dun dun duuuuunnnnn ;) so we have an on-going guessing game who is that person... and I still have no clue :) I'm not even sure if it's a man or a woman... :) I am going back and forth with all my maybe-it's-*spoiler*-but-then-again-I-think-that-maybe-it's-*spoiler* thinking :) that's pretty much all I can say to you without ruining some surprises along the way :)

So instead of thinking about all the things I can't tell you, how about I share some of the stuff I actually can talk to you about :) I definitely enjoyed this sequel :) I think what I loved the most is that both of our main characters acted like adults... I know what you're thinking: *why wouldn't they act like adults? they ARE adults* yeah... that's not as obvious as some of you might think... trust me, I've been burned by those kinds of assumptions before :) so I loved that there was basically no drama between Eva and Clive in this story :) don't get me wrong, they argued and stumbled upon some obstacles, but they actually talked about it and trusted each other, rather than act like hormonal / angsty teenagers... :) I also really like all the flashbacks that showed us certain events in Clive's past... it really helped me understood him better :) this was definitely a very good sequel, and now I am even more curious about that last installment becasue let me tell you... the plot definitely thickens in this one, and I have a feeling that the ending we're headed into will be really good :) it's just a hunch I have... ;) I'm really sorry that I can't really tell you guys more details, but I truly believe you will enjoy this story more, the less you know about it going in :) so let me just say that I can definitely recommend you guys this series to try out :)

XOXO

This one picks up where Chasing Eva leaves off and the pace is just as fast.
Eva and Clive are still being hounded by someone but the clues are not getting any better. Are they after Eva, her father's company, Clive or Clive's company. The informant doesn't leave enough of a clue to give us as readers enough of a hint and it is killing me to know the answer.
While Eva and Clive become closes, their families are getting to know the other better. Eva's friends don't really know what is going on because Eva hasn't shared that part of her crazy life with them and she doesn't want to scare then either.
While Clive and his FBI friends try to figure out who and why this is happening, his past comes back to haunt him and it is a sad, heartbreaking past.
Can Eva and Clive get through all this craziness without it ruining their relationship? Will Eva let the ex who only wants Clive for the newsworthiness mess with her head? Will the ever find out who is behind the threats and why?
I have loved this story from the beginning and I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next.

How do you survive the storm, when it's coming at you from all sides? Camellia Hart is back with the intricately crafted cryptogram that is Eva and Clive. They thought they could finally breathe easy, but were these fighters ever wrong. Now instead of battling their feelings for each other, they're facing some dangerous enemies determined to win at all costs. Can they use their heads to protect their hearts? Or will they lose the battle to end a war? Never a dull moment in this cat and mouse game.

In this second installment of In Light of Shadows, our story picks up with our lovers separated by a huge misunderstanding.  But let's fear not our lovers can not stay away from each other long.

As out story continues, Clive and Eva are on the mend.   Clive is addicted to Eva, as she is him.  They continue their journey to discovering each other.  But Clive has a dark secret.  One that could destroy everything.  And someone is opening up the door that could expose him.

Things with Eva's company are beginning to get worse.  The threats are slowly escalating and getting more serious.  The informant is closer than she realizes and the danger level is rising.  She doesn't want to pull everyone into her mess, but it seems fate has other plans.

These two characters are just phenomenal.  Their chemistry is off the charts.  Clive is not just addicted to her, he is obsessed.  He can't bear to be away from her and she him.  Their relationship is so intense.  You can feel it in the interactions between them throughout this series.

The supporting characters play a huge role in these books as well.  There are no small parts for anyone.  Each character has it's own role and personality.  Each developed deeply and well.  All the characters make you feel as if you know them on a personal level.

I cannot express how intense this book is.  It reaches deep into your soul with it's main characters.  Their love is what you can call true pure love.  Soul mates.  You can not have one without the other.

This series is a steady paced story that will grab your attention from the very first page.  I can only imagine what book 3 will be like.  Especially with the title Killing Eva.  I  get chills thinking about it.  As the series progresses so does the danger, twists and secrets.  I still haven't figured out or have any idea who the puppet master is pulling all the strings.  The build up to this is the perfect climax.  Perfect addiction.

So if you love a good steamy, hot, suspenseful story then this series is for you.  But remember you must read Chasing Eva first.  These books cannot be read as standalones.

Yay! Things are really heating up here in the second book of Eva's story! What really made me love it I think, was seeing Eva through Clive's eyes! They way Clive sees Eva is so magical heck even I was sporting a lady boner for her by the end 😜.

Eva and Clive having made it through some major trust issues in the first book, are now facing even more hurdles as the still unknown informant becomes bolder and the henchman is going rogue with is sociopathic tendencies! It was a really good read, with suspicion cast on everyone and accusations flown out cutting and slashing existing relationships! The paranoia aspect itself was delicious and exhausting in itself! Clive has yet another past relationship come back to haunt him and it was a heart breaker!

I feel like the characters are really starting to reach their depth in this story. Eva herself has actually started to take threats more seriously. I still feel like Eva is torn between her father's wishes and her past career but I feel the story really drawing her personality towards the design business and maybe letting go of her old career. I do, however, feel like Clive treats her with kid gloves at times...its always "I'll take care of it." /sigh 😍. That yummy goodness!

I of course have my ideas about who the real perpetrator is Can't wait to read the next!

This is the second book of a trilogy. It picks up exactly where the first book left off. It does not disappoint. There’s a lot of information in this book and extensive character development of the main characters. As I predicted we get to delve into Clive’s past big time. I don’t do spoilers but what I will say there are several take your breath away moments in both suspense and romance. Just when you think you have something figured out, something happens to change that line of thought. To me, at this point almost every one is a suspect. I’m kidding but your head will be spinning trying to figure this out.

I find Eva to be a very believable person. I said it before her insecurities are true and to me justified, but she’s also strong and trusting. She’s smart and has good instincts. What I really like about her character is that she isn’t always an emotional wreck, like I’ve seen in so many other books, where I actually want to smack the heroine up the side of her head. Sometimes I want to say wake up or stop your whining. In this case, not Eva. She has her rights to be just the way she is. This girl is learning to roll with the punches.
Clive is also discovering things about himself and it’s not always easy to adjust. I give the man kudos. I can also understand his dilemmas.

The secondary characters are just as important to this story as Clive and Eva. They bring depth to the story as well as intrigue. There’s one character who drives me crazy and I’m not sure how I feel about them. I haven’t figured it out. I’m sure by the time I read the third book I’ll have a definite opinion on them. Actually, isn’t this the point of having a mystery and a third book. I can’t wait to see if any of my suspicions or theories are accurate or if I’m completely gobsmacked. Truthfully, I won’t care if I’m wrong. I just want to know the why, where, what, when who and how to this story. The third book will clear it all up for me. Patience is not my strong suit!

Don’t worry just like in the first book you’ll get the smiles, aaah moments, the intrigue, the mystery, you’ll change your mind about ten times, the romance and again the hot as hell heat. I didn’t get as many laughs but seriously I didn’t need them. This book’s job is to transition us from part one by giving us more background information, deeper details in the present and progression that leads us all to the grand finale. It has more than done it’s job.

Once again it was a fast paced read. I can’t wait to get to the final book. So to the author I say Mission Completed. I need book 3 as soon as possible.

Loving Eva is book Number two in the Light of Shadows series and most definitely not a stand-alone. If you have not read Chasing Eva back up and get it, you won’t be disappointed. Once more Camellia Hart has grabbed me by the heart and made it difficult to put the book down. I sure cannot wait to see how this story will conclude in the last book of the series called Killing Eva.
In this book we are learning a lot about our main characters. Eva who is a loving and carefree spirit becomes cautious about who to trust and what she can rely on. Thank goodness for her two best friends Allie and Izzy but is the secret she must keep going to ruin this friendship? She cannot tell anyone someone is out to get her and ruin her company, how is she going to act normally around them when they usually can sense something is off. And then there is Clive something doesn’t feel right and Eva cannot quite figure it out. The secrets he is keeping are they going to break them apart? Her love for him is strong and she believes in innocent until proven guilty but will her believe be strong enough to make her wait until everything is revealed?
Clive is introduced in way more depth. We are learning about his dark past and the struggles he is having with it. He has never revealed what happened all these year ago, is Eva going to be the first woman he trusts with his secret? He feels conflicted because all he wants is Eva and things are getting thrown in his path to truly making her his. Is his love for Eva strong enough to overcome all the obstacles in the way? Or will his obsessive nature smother the free spirit Eva is and she will run for the hills?
And we are finally learning a little bit more about the informant what kind of person is he truly and who has hired him. The informant keeps making an intriguing appearance and when you think you might have figured out who hired him you start doubting yourself. This is where you can truly see what a great writer Camellia is. Keeping the reader interested and guessing so they cannot put the book down is not an easy thing to do but she has managed it with grace. I cannot wait to see who the informant is and who has hired him to do his dirty work. And please don’t let the title be the truth and we end up with a dead Eva in the third book.
So, if you are looking for a great series that will keep you at the edge of your seat you have found it.

Eva took over her father's company after his death. She has no experience in leading such a big business, but she's determined to do whatever it takes to keep her interior design firm on top of the game. Someone has been following Eva around and has threatened her safety. Before he died her father wrote her a note with only one sentence, Trust No One. Eva is confused because surely she can trust her uncle, her best friends and her father's lawyer. Or did her father really mean for her not to trust a single soul? Will Eva find out who's after her before it's too late?

Clive is a powerful and successful businessman. Before he met Eva, Clive didn't do love or relationships. He made it a game to always have a different woman on his arm whenever he made the headlines again. Clive has a troubled past, one that still haunts him. His childhood sweetheart, Olivia, died because of an overdose and he feels that he should have been there for her. Now that the death of Olivia is under investigation yet again, Clive can't stop thinking about all of those sad moments. Can Clive overcome his fear and tell Eva about what happened before someone else does?

Clive and Eva actually met once before during their teenage years, at a party. Clive fell in love with her and they shared their first kiss. He was never able to find her again but now that she is back in his life Clive isn't willing to let her slip away. Eva is a woman a lot of people admire. She is beautiful, kind and loyal. She is also not afraid to fight for what she wants. Eva is smart and she's a quick thinker. I love to read books about strong female characters and Loving Eva definitely falls into that category. Clive is gorgeous, he's former military and FBI, and for that alone my heart missed a couple of beats. He's so sweet and caring towards his family and he takes good care of Eva. I fell in love with him immediately when I started reading the first book in this series, Chasing Eva, and I was glad I could read more about him.

Loving Eva is the second book of the In Light of Shadows series. It continues Eva and Clive's story after Chasing Eva ended with a cliffhanger. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next and Loving Eva didn't dissappoint. It's fast-paced with plenty of unexpected twists and turns. The In Light of Shadows series is Camellia Hart's debut series. She's an amazing writer who knows how to pull you in from the very beginning. Loving Eva is the second book in a series of three and I absolutely can't wait to read the ending of this addictive story.

Loving Eva is book 2 in this author’s In The Shadows trilogy. Therefore, you need to read book 1, Chasing Eva first. I will tell you that while I did enjoy book 1, I liked Loving Eva more. The characters were still just as likable and the chemistry between them did not waiver.

Eva is still a strong, spunky, and confident heroine, but she does do some bone-headed things when it comes to her safety that I want to shake her. Things happen in the book that could make one question Clive, but Eva trusts him. Yet, she does remain cautious.

Clive’s character becomes more developed in this book. I had trouble understating why in book 1 that he was practically in love with her right away just because he had his first kiss with her 15 years ago. The author goes more in depth with their first meeting and it made much more sense as to why he fell for her so quickly. I loved learning more about his background. Some of it left me feeling heartbroken for him.

The secondary characters were more present in this book which I liked. Loving Eva has a lot of suspense and intrigue. The loose ends from book 1 are not tied up. You still don’t know who is the one committing corporate fraud even though there are a few characters who seem more likely than others. The threats are escalating and they are no longer just towards Eva. This book is told predominantly from Clive’s and Eva’s POV, but there are a few short chapters from the culprit’s POV. This book moves at a good pace and I didn’t feel that it ended as abruptly as book 1 or maybe I was just more prepared for it to just end. It doesn’t exactly end in a cliffhanger, but the mystery is still in full force. Book 3, Killing Eva, will be released on October 30, 2018.

I received this book from the author and I voluntarily leave this review.

This is the second book in the series. I suggest you read Chasing Eva, before you read this one. This book was great! We find that things are improving for Eva on the business front. Her hard work is paying off and she has landed new contracts for her company despite the work of the person who is trying to sabotage her reputation. Her relationship with the utterly delicious Clive, is on fire. Hot sex and steamy chemistry is what these two are all about. The only things bothering Eva are Clive's ex-girlfriend Silvia, and the fact that he is withholding telling her about a girlfriend from his past named Olivia. Silvia just keeps inserting herself into their lives where she is not wanted. This woman needs to get a clue! Is she just an annoying witch, or is she up to something more sinister? Then you have Olivia, who was Clive's girlfriend back when he was eighteen, I believe. Eva wouldn't even know about Olivia if not for her old friend Ryan, who by the way, is not a real fan of Clive's. He thinks Clive had something to do with her death, and can't wait to spill the beans to Eva. This book is full of twists and turns. I honestly wish Eva were a little more careful at times. I'm yelling at her like, "why are you running after him into a dark tunnel by yourself?" I can't wait to read the next book, but I am so worried for Eva. Especially since I feel there is going to be water involved, and she is afraid of water since she almost drowned when she was a teenager. These books are so good! There is a lot of suspense and romance.

Wow, more of Clive's past is revealed and we know know more about the only other relationship he has had. The guy who wants to bring Eva and Clive down, well really Eva but Clive by extension is turning up the heat.

Eva is one tough lady and sticks to her guns even when it keeps her from Clive. They are addicted to each other and really do belong together but there are outside forces trying to keep them apart. Eva inspires the men in her life to be loyal to her and protect her and well Ryan takes it a bit to far.

There are a lot of twists and turns here. I like that Eva's friends Allie and Izzy are getting to find out what it means to be loved but without the threats that Eva endures. They are loyal to her and have her back as she has theirs. It's important to have friends like that especially because all three women are so busy with their careers.

We got to see a little more of Clive's family and we meet his father who has some interesting things to say about Eva's father and what is going on. Like I said, lots of twists and turns that made me glad that I started this on a weekend when work wouldn't interfere with my reading! This book was hard to put down and I just want to see what happens next.

I like how Ms. Hart includes the first two chapters of the next book because it gives you just a taste but it's enough to make me want to read the next book. By the end of this book I find myself very invested in how this all ends. And the sex, OMG I wish well I leave it at that but the sex is HOT!

Clive loves Eva. Hang it all, he adores Eva with every fiber of his being. He doesn't want to leave her side. He worships her, adores her, loves her...wait, love? Can a broken man like Clive learn to love again after the death of his first real girlfriend, Olivia?

Yes. A thousand times over, the answer is yes.

Because Clive doesn't want to lose Eva. He can't stay away from her. He doesn't want to, and he honestly can't imagine his life without Eva being in it...both in present and in future.

Eva can't take much more heartache and secrecy. She just found out that her father was murdered, the security around her is tightening, and there's a creep following her around. Throw in the mix that Ryan is meddling once again in her and Clive's relationship, begging her to meet him and talk about Clive's "suspicious" trip to Miami and Olivia, and Eva is stressed out to the max that her heart can take. She won't listen to Ryan- the truth about Olivia needs to come from Clive, no one else. But when her only anchor and support starts to pull away and not be forthcoming in his truths, what else can Eva do except walk away?

Yet Eva CAN'T walk away. She loves Clive and can't survive all of this upheaval without him. But as she clings to him, the dangers surrounding the two of them deepen, and threaten to drag them down together. Is their love strong enough to fight through it? Or will they walk away from the best thing that has ever happened to them- each other?

THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME! I NEED TO KNOW WHO THE STALKER AND HIS EMPLOYER IS!!

Loving Eva is a great continuation of this suspenseful, sexy romance! It was just as good, if not better than the first book! It definitely kept my attention from the beginning until the end.

Clive and Eva are still together, but there are more obstacles and danger that will test their relationship. One of my favorite aspects of the book was that I got to know each character better. I loved the flashbacks to the past. They really showed how deep Clive’s feelings ran for Eva. As danger still lurks in the shadows, more of Clive’s alpha tendencies appear which was incredibly sexy. Again, Eva matured even more. Whatever is thrown in her path, her strength and tenacity get her through it. It appears that she will have to draw on both of those things if she is going to survive. It doesn’t look like whomever is after her and Clive is going to give up any time soon.

There was a lot of steamy scenes, but there was a deep romance going on as well. One thing I love about a series is with each book, I learn something new, not just in the story but the characters as well. Another favorite aspect of this book too was the addition of the informant’s POV. Through him or her, a deeper level of mystery is added which keep the plot moving rapidly. There is another book coming, and I am looking forward to devouring that one!

The mystery continues as to who "the informant" is and why someone is trying to destroy Eva's company in this well written, exciting, intriguing and steamy story that brings us more of Clive and Eva's life, past and present. In the first book I felt the need to head slap Eva, in this book, well Clive needs a few taps to the back of his head. But he finally comes through and all is right in the world, well except for the psycho who is out to hurt not only Eva it seems but Clive as well. The letters keep coming, more secrets are revealed, but still are quite cryptic and leave you trying to figure everything out. It is quite a guessing game as you read and more people begin to be added and removed from the who's who of suspects; well at least in the reader's minds as the story doesn't actually say anything about anyone else.

This is a wonderful second book to this series and the more you read the more you get caught up in the storyline and the mystery. The more you read the more you fall in love with Clive and Eva, and even begin to start rooting for the love lives of her friends; Izzy and Allie. I still love Clive and Eva and still believe that they are made for each other and can't wait to see where their relationship goes; past where it has gone in this book that is.

I absolutely loved this book and look forward to the next book in this series. I can hardly wait to see who the villain is in this story!!! I highly recommend this book....this series!!!

Where do I start with this review OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!!!!!!! It picks up right where Chasing Eva ends and there is so much going on. I mean I feel so bad for Eva and Clive because they just want to be together and have a happy life but things are just not going that way.

Someone is still after Eva and she can't figure out if it is her they are after or Clive or their companies. They are being hounded and stalked and Eva just doesn't know what to do. SO she decides to move on with life like nothing is going on. Her family and friends are getting to know Clive and they have no idea the mess Eva is in but she is determined to live her life scared free.

Clive on the other hand has it bad in this story. His ex is back and she is determined to get Clive back and she is willing to lie and hurt Eva just to get Clive back. He also has some things from his past come back and his friends are trying so hard to help him out. Clive is having a hard time but he knows that no matter what he loves Eva and he is willing to do anything to keep her.

This one was such an emotional roller coaster ride that it had me at the edge of my seat reading like a crazy woman so I could get to the end and see what was going to happen and boy oh boy I need to read book three like ASAP because I need to know what is going to happen next!
