NETFLIX NEWS! The 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN series is being adapted into a steamy Netflix dramedy series called SEX/LIFE, coming soon!

Easily my favorite read of 2018, and one I'm going recommend over and over again. Flawless!" -Brittainy C. Cherry, Amazon#1 Bestselling Author

Because BB Easton had so much fun writing her best-selling,award-winning memoir, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN, she decided to give each of her four men his own steamy stand-alone. SUIT is Ken's book--the hilarious, heart-warming tale of how BB finally got over her bad-boy phase and found her happily ever after with ... gasp ...a guy in a tie.

“Since when are you into guys in ties? You only like guys who look like they rob guys in ties. At gunpoint.”

It was true. By 2003, my type had been well-established. There might as well have been a giant sign on my heart that said, “Good Guys Need Not Apply.”

Which is exactly why I had to friendzone Ken Easton. The man was a former football star, smelled like fresh laundry instead of stale cigarettes, and had more ties in his closet than tattoos on his knuckles. Pssh. BOR-ING.

But the more I got to know my hunky study buddy, the more questions I came away with. Questions like, why doesn’t he date? Why does he avoid human touch? Why does he hate all things fun and wonderful? The psychology student in me became obsessed with getting inside Ken’s head, while the spoiled brat in me became obsessed with getting inside his heart.

In 2003, I found the one thing I love more than bad boys…

A good challenge.

*SUIT is Book 4 in the 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN spin-off series but can be read as a complete standalone.

BB Easton is the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN, the hilarious, steamy, tell-all memoir that inspired the Netflix Original Series, SEX/LIFE. Within the first month, SEX/LIFE was viewed by 67 million households worldwide, making it the 3rd Most-Watched Netflix Original Series of all time.

BB was a stressed-out school psychologist and mother of two when the inspiration to write 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN struck. Through that process, she rediscovered her passion for writing, became dangerously sleep-deprived, and finally mustered enough courage to quit her job and become a full-time author.

BB went on to publish four more wickedly funny, shockingly steamy, and heartwarmingly autobiographical books in the 44 CHAPTERS series: SKIN, SPEED, STAR, and SUIT. Since then, she's been hard at work writing fictional stories that appeal to her love for us-against-the-world romance, including a dystopian trilogy (PRAYING FOR RAIN), a psychologist-client romantic comedy (GROUP THERAPY), and a dark mafia romance (DEVIL OF DUBLIN).

*****FOUR STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provied by Author}

As soon as Ken cursed and collapsed on top of me, I smiled even bigger than Julia Roberts trying not to cry in Hugh Grant’s bookstore. Because I wasn’t a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her anymore. I was a girl, lying under a man, who loved her more than she’d ever thought possible.

I had only read one of the books in the ”44 Chapters” series prior to SUIT, and I became an instant fangirl over B.B. Easton. I loved STAR so much that BB was instantly a top favorite for me. When Ken was introduced in the last book, I was really intrigued by him and I could sense an attraction building between him and BB. I really wasn’t expecting the story that unfolds in SUIT. I had a really hard time finding any reason to like Ken and the level of angst in this one was almost painful at times.

Ken was a complete robot throughout most of this book. I often wondered what B.B. saw in him other than his physical attractiveness. I just didn’t like that he was emotionally unavailable and that B.B. had to initiate almost everything with him. She comes off so needy in this one and she definitely owns it at times.

I’m so happy that, in the end, the story takes a turn which left me more than satisfied. Fans of the ”44 Chapters” series will absolutely enjoy this last installment. I only wish I could ask the author which parts were true and which were embellished for the pure entertainment value.

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 4
Heroine: 4
Plot: 4
Angst: 4.5
Steam: 4
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 4

"When I told Ken I needed help coming up with ideas for his book, he fucking laughed at me – he laughed! – and said, “Good luck with that. I’m boring as shit.”

I adore B.B.’s voice and her ability to reveal herself and the men that held parts of her heart at certain times in her life. With this final book B.B. takes readers along the ride of her and her husband’s love story. She is truly a talented writer. She writes with a humor and grit that not many authors can get across on a page. You will feel like a part of each of the four love stories which are excellent on their own and such a journey as a whole. At times shocking, at times heartbreaking, and at times swoon worthy. Ken was so very different from the other three boys/men and in so many ways. I felt like I was decoding Ken right along with B.B. and he was well worth the time…for a suit!

INFINITE STARS ************

(I apologize for the use of bad words in this review. I couldn’t help myself, B.B brings out the rebel in me)

By now I hope the whole world knows how deep my obsession for B.B Easton’s books run. Pretty fucking deep, I tell you. Why? Because her writing is powerful, poignant and personal.

I was a little nervous about reading Suit because first, I’m not one to fantasize about anybody’s husband (it’s just girl code), and second, because let’s be honest, stories about a husband and wife can be boring. But this book is anything BUT boring. Their story is tender yet wild, perfect yet flawed, passionate and heartbreaking. And with all the respect in the world toward Mrs. Easton, Ken is seriously, scorching hot! In my defense, I promise you, I was picturing my own hot, accountant husband while reading this book. So I didn’t feel like a complete inappropriate perv.

This book is about ”The One.”

BB met the one at a friend's house, and didn’t even know it. They were friends for a while, and while she was out there getting her heart broken, Ken was always there. He was the quiet, shy guy, without any tattoos, and always wearing work out clothes. She thought of him as “Pajama Guy”.

One night at a party Ken shows up wearing a Suit sooooo well, that BB simply couldn’t help but notice him. But how? How can I guy who doesn’t drink, doesn’t like drugs, and doesn’t have any tattoos or body piercings can be so utterly hot? Well, turns out this man could set BB on fire like no other man ever did. Like people say it's always the quiet ones...

The thing about this story is that it's real. Ken wasn’t a rich CEO, with amazing romantic one liners. And BB wasn’t the confident heroine, with the amazing body and picture ready hair. They are two real, flawed, people who fell in love. And it was hard, beautiful, messy and everything else in between. Their story becomes yours, this book is written with so much heart that you can’t help but fall utterly in love with it.

This is the fourth installment in the series of 44 Chapters, About 4 Men , and if you asked me after reading every single one, which one was my favorite, I couldn’t possibly tell you, not even if you put a gun to my head. Each book owned my heart, took my breath, and my words away. With each book, I learned a little bit more about BB, and also about myself. This author has an amazing talent in which with her honesty, and her storytelling she reached deep inside my soul, and I will forever love her for it.

So don’t waste any more fucking time, go one click every single book in this series. Brooke (BB) Bradley’s romance force field had always gravitated towards good for nothing bad boys. After years of being burned, she vowed to change her ways but she never thought it would take her to a completely different direction.

Ken Easton had been her mutual friend but nothing more than being in the periphery. That was until she saw him in a GQ worthy outfit that tingled her bits. But BB had a work cut out for her if she wanted to (un)tame the man.

He wasn’t even a man. He was a rare subspecies, commonly referred to as a gentleman, that I didn’t even know still existed

Ken has always been my least favorite character in this series but I did like him here and definitely the one I could relate to the most - the lack of emotion, the anti hug lol! While he was stoic, he had his own kind of charm getting into BB’s (and readers’) heart with his subtle thoughtfulness.

He made me laugh and he made me crazy and he made me a better version of myself. But, most of all, he made me want things that I wasn’t sure he could give me. Things he didn’t believe in.

I like BB the most in this book compared to previous ones. She was more mature while still retained a shadow of characteristics that made her lovable. Over the span of this series, I felt like I’ve known BB through her joys and heartaches. Even though I’m not a fan of all things happy (lol!), I’m glad that they found and balanced each other out.

Suit is a tale of opposite attractions. This book would appeal to readers looking for a lighthearted romance with lovable quirky characters.

BB Easton. Sculptor of words that will evoke feelings you never knew existed and ugh, make it extremely hard to even semi-adequately write down just how incredible her book is and why you need to read it. SUIT is the fourth and final spin-off of BB’s fictionalized memoir 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN. I don’t know how she does it, but she once again has written a book that demands to be re-read again and again. In the other books, we see and we feel BB’s heartache and struggle to fill this void of needing something…more. Though constant in her compassion and affection towards her friends and family and strong with her cheesy smile inducing quirks, BB’s ride has been a rollercoaster full of ups and downs and loops, both physically and mentally, and the ending she finds in SUIT is absolute perfection. She gets the happily ever after that she deserves and needs and I just want to stand up and slow clap while tears are running down my face. We finally, FINALLY, get to understand Ken a bit more and while there were plenty of times I just wanted to shake some emotion into him, I completely understood where he was coming from with my own left-brained leaning ways. BB is so astute and good that even though she is open and demanding in her own feelings, she still found a way to write Ken’s near opposite personality in an endearing way. His struggle to give BB what she needed and what he knew she deserved was pure and honest and yes, Ken made me cry. For real. This is the first time in my adult years that I can recall a book actually making me cry. That’s what BB Easton does. She puts her whole heart into her writing, and the end product is vulnerably real and sweet and funny and witty. It is sentimental to see this series end, but after everything, SUIT has left me with the best kind of happiness. It is an understatement to say that I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this author! Yes, SUIT can be read as a standalone but I think the others in this series call to be read too. 9 stars for SUIT, for the 9 words in the book that made me happy cry.

One of my favorite book series by one of my favorite people on the planet, and it earned 44 million stars from me.

For years, we've been waiting to read BB's happy ending with husbot Ken. We've followed her through psychos and arms dealers. Rockstars and criminals.

Who better to love her right than emotionless accountant?

Answer: no one. Literally no one.

One of my favorite things about reading a BB Easton book is the mixture of self-deprecating humor and hard truths, not only about herself, but of the world and her relationships. And reading her happy ending after three books of heartache to get there was an absolute and utter joy.

If you have not read this series, go right now. Pick up 44 Chapters about 4 Men. Read it. Die laughing. Fall in love. And then pick up Skin.

Thank me later <3

"He wasn’t even a man. He was a rare subspecies, commonly referred to as a gentleman, that I didn’t even know still existed"

teaser

Brooke (BB) Bradley has always been the spoiled and wild child and always ready for whatever life trows her way.  In the boy department she tended to leaned toward the bad boys and therefore left her heart broken every time.  After her last bad breakup she was done messing around and was ready to get on with her life.

"His soft charcoal slacks hung about an inch or two lower than what was professional. It wasn't all black, and it wasn't meant to be edgy, but there was an air of duck you about the way he wore it that turned me on anyway."

Ken Easton was quiet, very intelligent and totally not BB's type.  They both met each other at Jason's house aka mutual friend.   I really found it hilarious how BB described Ken when she first met him until one day she was breathless with his all GQ worthy outfit after work and gave her all kinds of feels she never thought possible.

"The man had a personal-space bubble the size of a planet, but he didn't seem to mind my intrusion at all. Which was good because I liked it inside Ken's bubble. It was quiet and warm in there, but the energy was electric."

This books was loaded with so many funny scenes, I found myself laughing so loud until my belly hurt.  I truly loved the way BB and Ken connected and how their relationship of friendship turned out to be so great.   BB was all stubborn and childish but Ken's responsible personality balanced their relationship out.

I always liked Ken since the beginning, not as much as I love my baby Knight which I still hurt for him on this book.  This last book was light, funny and sexy.  I truly enjoyed all the characters and I liked how BB matured from her other experiences.  Suit will be appealing to readers looking for a romantic comedy story.

In the final volume of this series, it begins with 20 year-old psychology student Brooke “BB” Bradley post breakup from her rocker boyfriend. While she is over a friend’s house, the non-drinking, non-smoking couch buddy she’s come to know as pajama guy suddenly sparks her interest and he officially gets a name. Though BB already knows this man is like Teflon, she isn’t about to back down from a challenge.

“Ken was no boy. He wasn’t even a man. He was a rare subspecies, commonly referred to as a gentleman, that I didn’t even know existed.”

At 23, Ken Easton is the general manager of a movie theater and is a quiet guy compared to BB’s gregarious personality. Even though BB affectionately refers to him as an asshole, Ken is a solid friend and a man that proves he is capable of much more than BB initially expects.

“He’s … I don’t know. He’s not my type. Like at all.” “That’s good.” My mom smiled … “Your type sucks.”

As told strictly from BB’s perspective, she takes us on the journey of how she and Ken become official and it’s uniquely their story. With Ken having personal space issues and doesn’t show emotion, BB doesn’t anticipate the challenges that lay ahead until she painfully realizes she can’t expect more than he can give. Therefore, they learn together how to meet each other’s needs while not compromising their core.

“Nine words.” His chest expanded, nostrils flared. “I can say nine words.”

In reading this novel, there were so many laugh out loud moments. RomComs aren’t usually a subgenre I read, but I really liked the author’s way of telling a story – a little bit crazy, a ton of passion and a good dose of self-deprecation. With her inner monologue turned up to eleven and Ken’s sharp-witted sense of humor – including a keen ability to be frugal, there really isn’t a dull moment.

Suit is a romantic comedy that offers insight into the tricky balance of relationships and how priorities change thanks to maturity. Ending the 44 Chapters series with Ken’s book made the journey come full circle.

"And when that GQ-looking mother fucker turned and looked out over the living room, he smirked...at me."

Sigh. I can't believe I am finished. I can't believe I read Suit in one night. And I can't believe I won't get any more of any of these fun and escaping reads that BB has so generously blessed us with. I just...need a moment. It's so hard to say goodbye.

I wanted to start my review with this part so bad and it might be a little long but more than anything with ALL of these books, I think Suit will be the most personal to me. I related SO MUCH to Ken out of every single character we come across in these stories.

I'm a cheap tight wad, I struggle with how to show my feelings accurately, my communication skills are lacking, I am a very routine oriented person, I like organization, and did I mention that I like to save money every chance that I get? But when I found my better half, the complete polar opposite of me, my whole world aligned. My planets shifted and my thought process became more easy and laid back. I relaxed. I learned how to operate better, just like Ken. So, to say I understood BB and Ken's relationship would be an understatement. I have lived it. Maybe not identical to theirs, but close enough for me to understand the way Ken tics. I love how she portrayed it, it was the most real thing that I have felt in quite some time.

As always, internal BB dialogue was a hit, I think I'm going to miss that the most, especially the bitchy-Brooke dialogue. She seemed to be amped up in this one and I was all about that. Watching her grow and change was a sight for sore eyes. I can't believe we have seen her grow into the person she has become, how lucky are we!

"I'd kissed a prince, and somehow, he'd turned into an even better prince."

Although Suit didn't end up being my fave out of the series, I feel like I will always have a soft spot for Ken and BB and their story mainly because it was the beginning of the life she has built and who she is today. That was just so cool to see unfold over the years.

This series has been so much fun, one that I will always remember. I am so thankful that BB took the chance and risked her life (and identity) to write these books. It was the best ride I have been on in ages. But as much as I will miss these men, I am most excited to see what BB will grace us with next.

As soon as this book hit my kindle - I stopped everything - even adulting - and my kids became my husband's problem. I literally couldn't put it down and my hand went numb from holding my phone for so long and I forgot to eat dinner. But I didn't care!
I'm not even sure I could put into proper words of how much I loved this book!! So I might end up updating this review once they come to me and I nurse this book hangover. And maybe read it a couple more times :D

It's everything I have been waiting for since I first read about husbot Ken in 44 chapters. I actually related to Ken a lot---lol but also with BB. I was on this emotional roller coaster with them, being able to relate to both of them I could feel everything they could through the words of the pages. Which is what I love about BB's writing. I laughed, I teared, I shook my head, I wanted to slap someone - :p It's everything I want out of a book and I didn't want it to end, but I can't also wait to see what is next in store with BB :)

I don't want to give spoilers but I'll say around 78% I was left swooning and throwing my fist in the air-- going hell yeah, Go Ken!

Like I said I have so much more to say, but I know a lot of what I do want to say would be giving things away and I can't do that... Just read this!! :D You won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 mf stars!

You guys, this book. Is. So. Goooood. *insert tears of pure reading-induced bliss* Does this book really had to end!?

I loved every. single. shit. out of this. Most of all, I love/hate/late/hove Ken motherfucking Easton, former dyslexic now a freaking number genius accountant.

I am compelled. Pure magic, pure mahika, pure bliss. I could not put this story down. B.B. Easton is a memoir writing mastermind (Also, I actually adore her career as a psychologist after reading this, she seems very dedicated and talented despite her self-deprecating jokes and jabs). Again, I am bummed that this had to actually end *sad eyes* but I am very much satisfied with the entirety of the story.

If you're looking for a good adult romance/memoir/absolute shitshow of a hilarity in your story, then your search is over, my dear friend. Here, I present to you: SUIT by B.B. Freaking Easton. Read at your own risk (of pure LOLs and mayhem with a solid story).

P.S. Ken is an iceberg/robot/cheap-ass/weird-about-hugs-handshakes-&-gifts kind of man brought up by parents who are very much Mr. & Mrs. Weird-about-hugs and I just melt everytime he shows sentimentality and vulnerability. If you know me, I like my heros communicative, expressive, and someone who likes to converse into resolution each encountered conflict with his partner, despite this, Ken is still just so compelling. If you like to read a book with that character, go ahead and crack this one open!

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
And BB did show us in the first book, maybe only a glimpse but Ken was THE shining star of 44 chapters.

description

And marvel at the talent and diversity of her that this is the same BB who made me laugh so hard that I'd tears pouring down my eyes in 44 Chapters and now she's made my heart tear up !!
And it's the same Ken-doll! What a feat to completely peel back the layers of her own characters till the soft entrails are laid exposed. I knew it in 44 Chapters, that Ken was THE ONE , yet BB was chasing a false high and readers let her figure it out for herself.
“Falling Star” wasn’t some epic tale of fated destinies and true love, like I’d made it out to be in my mind. It was about a girl who was meant for bigger things than her lover. He’d tried to keep her small, but in the end, she exploded into a supernova, leaving him in the dust.

description

After blowing like an autumn leaf in the wind, BB finds her ground and returns to Ken. His character just blew me away!
He's so vulnerable & adorable, stoic yet tender, a man who is supremely intelligent yet emotionally unavailable. He's the softest, purest human being ever to grace the pages of a book. Hero with limited vocabulary is totally unheard of, but he's real nevertheless. It's as if his heart is full of sentiments but words are trapped in his mouth. But though subtle, the connection is static and electric, so there's something real there, they aren't imagining it.

description

It didn’t make any sense. He wasn’t my type. He’d never once come on to me. And he was about as emotionally available as a cucumber. But there was an intoxicating current of energy surrounding him that I couldn’t get enough of.
Looks like BB had an inside peek into MY LIFE when she created Ken. If....and it's a big IF this ken is "REAL" then he's a sweetheart and he deserves a medal !
BB is ray of sunshine, untrappable and uncontainable in anybody hands. A free spirit, she's led by her heart and total opposite of head driven ken. Her doubts keep reading their ugly heads every now and then but her senses don't lie to her.
Ken wasn’t my type, but perhaps my type was ready for an upgrade.
The book is seriously addictive, once I picked it up, I couldn't keep it down. Cuteness factor of Ken will knock your socks off and endearing factor of BB would keep you besotted. I easily fell for this Yin-Yang couple who've occupied my thoughts, my heart, my soul and my brain completely.
"highly left-brained individual —a man of action and reason & right-brained partner to help balance him out. Like a poet or a painter or perhaps a psychology student with purple hair.”.
I've rarely come across a story written so well, with so much compassion and honesty. It's like BB the author has laid her insides open on the pages to bleed and soak in the pages. Perfect story of a perfect couple in less than perfect setting, full of flaws and imperfections but their jagged hearts just were made for each other.

description

I’d thought I loved Ken before, but what I’d fallen in love with were mere glimmers of the qualities he truly possessed. Now, they were on full display in high-definition. His strength. His selflessness. His grace. His love. I’d kissed a prince, and somehow, he’d turned into an even better prince.
All the heart eyes and rainbows and glitter and awwwwws and sighs at this point can't explain how much I fell in love with Ken!!😍 (I'm secretly hoping it's real Mr. Easton and it's not at all embarrassing for him !!!)
I can't even attempt to give it stars, it's that good
infinite stars of wisdom

First, I've not read 44chapters. I can't handle the premise, so I skipped it. I thought this might be better for me (the series). Now I've endured/survived/binged the series, I've got thoughts.

One of the things that I found that I liked and that engaged me was how BB was an all-in person, vulnerable heart on her sleeve, but kind of a mother to her friends. I found parts of her partial-memoir (this 4 book series) eerily relatable, from the moment she nearly gets attacked by another girl in Knight (the words! They were almost the same), to having an angry and intense first love that ends up foundationally toxic and yet the tendency and difficulty to separate yourself from it painfully frustrating, real, and persistent. (Skin)

I will say that I think showcasing that relationship certainly served its propose and sets up character, motivations and trajectory. But the second (SPEED) and third (STAR) book didn't stand out as anything that needed a full length in a very real sense, and really could have combined much of this into one full length novel. But, hey, if you are here for the sex-drugs-risky teen behavior, step to right up. If you are looking for a heroine to heal herself, skip this. Easton's seemingly never alone and does things despite her relationships but I get the real sense her purpose IS the relationships. What I'm saying is over a 6 year period, BB is a highly functioning but very reckless teen with an eating disorder, who parties a lot, falls in love a lot, has a whiff of manic pixie dream girl for she's simply never rejected and consistently adored, and by the final installment still continues to see the objects of her love as people she needs to help and fix. By the time the series concludes, there's a passing sentence in her determination regarding her ED, and that's it.

Look, I'm sure in real life it's more complicated than this. my reason for liking this best of all is rather than being boring as shit, Ken makes the most interesting romance hero (and only, unsurprisingly) of the lot and may have been more successful just centered around him and that relationship.

I think Easton can write, but after I got over the trauma and the wtf-ery I wasnt left with a whole lot in the series. After a sufficiently complicated presentation in Knight, and SPEED only really having a few touchstone moments, and STAR only serving to remind BB what love was to finding a repressed, emotionally distant husband who comes off as a mystery more than a bore I can tell you...

Skip the series, read suit if you like. I don't think the pay off feels worth it probably because I don't love "fixers" and I don't love a lack of development for a main character over a 4 book series. 2.5. if it had just been this one, it could've been a bit better.

Reading this series has been an absolute BLAST! I love B.B. Easton. Her story and writing style has brightly stood out among the many books I have read this year. She calls her books autobiographical romance, and maybe that's what makes them so addictive. Even if they weren't, they are totally 100% believable, therefore I think anyone can relate to her in some way.

Her books will make you laugh and cringe. You'll feel like you're listening to your best friend, who always tells the best stories, laughing your ass off while sipping your favorite cocktail.

I definitely recommend starting off with this series first (Skin) before you read her standalone book 44 Chapters. 44 Chapters About 4 Men reveals the fate of some of the characters in the series.

I will anxiously wait for more books by B.B. If you want some romance that just feels fresh in a very saturated market, pick up B.B.'s books. You won't be disappointed.

4.5 stars! Special and touching book! And very very sexy...!

This is the fourth book in the series, but you can definitely read it as a STAND-ALONE, without any real obligation to read the 3 before him.

What is this book about? BB Easton, a wild, young woman with a big mouth, tries to rearrange her life after the breakup from Hans - the rock star. After a sequence of three bad partners, she meets Ken - handsome, serious, always wearing suits and completely different from her usual type. She is attracted to him immediately, but has two difficulties:

1. Is this type is the person who really suits her? She, whose whole life had been attracted to bad boys who made her miserable?
2. Ken himself turns out to be a withdrawn and robotic type - difficult to break through.

Will their love win these obstacles and bring them to an happy end? Are these two opposites able to overcome their differences and become a permanent couple?

I loved the book!!! and felt the 2 characters so well. BB's fire in front of Ken's ice, led to collision and great chemistry.

Ken was amazing. hot and Sexy in his introverted way.

Well done!

There is something to be said when person writes from her heart, open about her own journey you just feel it in every letter, word and sentence.

MAGIC

And this is a book like that... an autobiography...sure there is a fiction in it but so is personal author experience, memories and life. What you get is an exceptional romance novel. Now I wouldn't call myself romantic person in "real" life but here I am reading mainly romance books now let's just call me complicated, huh..

anyway this is in my short period as romance reader a perfect romance book.
And I don't like that perfect word, noun, verb or adjective whatever...
But here all the imperfections, all the bumps and ups and downs make a perfect storm. Damn it there is that word again...Well this is perfection and I just have to deal with it.

BB Easton is very very brave...or crazy or maybe both..crazy brave woman...I love it. Kind of fear of it and admire it at the same time. You have to be some kind of badass to be so open and honest.

This is enjoyable read about her life, meeting and dating her now husband and her happy end.
* Note: previous three books are about her three ex boyfriends and you don't have to read it to enjoy this one but it does give you a better understanding of the characters...but I think you should definitely read this before 44 Chapters About 4 Men...as my fab friend Amber suggested.

Speaking of husband...Ken....or Mr. Easton... Mr. Suit... Mr. Action speaks louder then words...
He is special kind of hero. As BB in real life realized she didn't know he was her type at all..I too realized I like to read about hero like him..a mother effing gentlemen...Who knew?!? Not me...
#TeamKen

Suit!!! Hell yeah!!!!

They are friends to lovers...total opposites..who with time find so many things they do have in common. I just fell in love with them and this book. I need this in paperback so I can touch it, smell it and look at it kind of book love.

I would like to underline every BB's internal monologue...it is so relatable and funny...and just amazing.

Those of you who love your books with a side of a music be sure to check BB's Spotify list for this and all others books in this series.

Dear BB...
I love your books, your writing style, your incredible journey, your fantastic inspiring story....
In my head we are friends...

I hope you will give this book a chance. I would like to recommend it to everyone.

Infinite stars for Suit!

Actions. Actions everywhere. I am legit choked up in finishing this book. I truly didn’t want it to end. BB Easton is a freakin genius! What it must be like to live inside her brain. The way she wrote this with such realness not holding anything back makes me love her hard.

Ken..oh Ken, where do I even begin with you. You intrigued me from the start with your quirks, personality and just YOU. My heart immediately went out to you in seeing how you couldn’t show emotion, had physical boundaries that you wouldn’t allow people into (except Queen BB pushing her way in), and just the way you would detach yourself when hard or sad things would happen to protect yourself. I knew there had to be a big reason and the way BB wrote it was so real and honest. You two are a perfect match. Total opposites, but that’s what makes it work. Ken was a man of action. The signs were all there without him saying it, but oh when he finally said it—packing up BB’s stuff and saying those 9 words..my heart completely melted.

I honestly could go on and on, but let me just say this..I’m so blessed and thankful to have given BB’s books a chance. I am extremely sad that I am all caught up with her books.

BB + Ken 4EVR.

I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions from start to end from laughing out loud to crying to having to close my kindle app just to catch my breath. And it was so effortless!! She could make you laugh on one page and break your heart on the next. There were times my heart physically hurt and then there were times my cheeks hurt from smiling so hard. I will say Ken infuriated me... (I guess BB too lol), but right around the halfway mark I was like “okaaaay Ken, I see you!” *claps* I’d been rooting hard for Ken since 44 chaps (obviously) and I was so happy to see how they got their HEA. (I don’t think this is a spoiler? Ha). BB’s refreshing and emotional story(ies) is one that will stay with me for a long time. Her willingness to give this authentic, hilariously funny and original take on her experiences has made me a fan for life! I’ll miss the husbot and BB so much but I’m so excited to see what Easton has in store for us next!! #teamKen&BB

I really enjoyed Suit!! Ken was my favorite from all of her boyfriends and maybe he was like a "robot" like she likes to call him, but this is my favorite type of book boyfriend so it was inevitable! And they were so different yet they seemed to click together! I love to know that ten years later they are still together, that their love probably rekindled (judging from 44 chapters) and they have Baby BB & mini Ken! There was only one thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way and therefore it's 4.5 stars for me 😄

Following a series of bad dating decisions, will our narrator/author ever get her HEA?
Obviously if you read the first book in the series, you already know how this will play out. But given the wake of all those bad decisions, I was still desperate to see how a man completely opposite of the heroine's type, would be able to sweep her off her feet.

Let's review the dating history of our heroine/author, BB "Brooke":
- Skinhead tattoo artist
- Punk rocker
- Bass player

And then you have clean, wholesome Ken, who doesn't drink, smoke or have tattoos.
How would this ever work?
Let me tell you, Ken doesn't make things easy for Brooke, as he likes to call her.

Side note: I loved how the author warned us that this book might be boring, because Ken is, by his own admission, is boring. Yet after reading the book, I found this early warning not necessary. This might be due to the author's style of writing, which for me is easy to connect to. Part of it is the author's natural sense of humor, with funny moments that don't feel forced. Part of it is the author's self-depreciation, and introspection of her life and dating history. Add to that a man that struggles to express emotions (both good and bad) and you have a cocktail for a compelling and at times, humorous story.

Having briefly met The Ken Easton at a signing, I have to admit, I kept wondering how much of this story was real, and how much was fiction. I can definitively see the quiet side of him being real, as I noticed how he deftly tries to avoid being caught on camera during the event. And through the author's FB posts, I also know the frugal side of him is very real, with his pre-made travel meals. As for what remains a mystery, I hope the character's love of pain wasn't too far off the mark. *wink wink*

With a guy who lacks the natural ability to express emotion, you can imagine that a relationship with him would have some highs, along with frequent lows. When you add Brooke's need for positive reaffirmation, unnecessary drama was inevitable.

As with the previous books, Brooke also struggles to escape Knight's stalkerish ways. But she's come along way and I think handled him in the most mature manner in this book. The outcome wasn't perfect, but we knew it never would be.

In the end, both Brooke and Ken show a lot of growth and genuine effort to make things work. To put an end to a series of bad decisions and find happiness in the most unexpected places. This neatly wrapped up the series with a bow, and I enjoyed every wild and crazy step of this author's journey.

For possibly the first time in my life, I felt grounded, and my feet weren't even touching the ground.

"He made me laugh and he made me crazy and he made me a better version of myself. But, most of all, he made me want things that I wasn't sure he could give me."

*Sighs* I can't believe this series is over. I fell in love with this whole concept of a series based on the Author's real life the minute I dove into 44 Chapters About 4 Men all those many moons ago, and it has become one of my favorite series of all time. Completely original, brutally honest, and while you'll never completely know what's absolutely true and what's been fictionalized by the Author, I fell in love all the same. The characters are completely genuine, fractured, riddled with flaws, funny as all get out, and the way this Author writes, it's like you sat with a good friend reminiscing over a cup of coffee while she poured through the awkward teenage years from age 15 to adult. Book BB's internal dialogue was one of my favorite things to read, hands down!!!

The wit, and biting sarcasm, and the Author's keen sense of self (as only one can do once you're grown and can look at your life with Adult eyes) really spoke to me in a way I won't soon forget. I laughed out loud, felt the crushing pain, felt her losses as if they were my own, and swooned at the realness of when our shiny robot in sportswear armor did something adorable, because I'm #TeamKen all the way!! I thank the Author profusely for exposing herself to the public eye and pouring her heart into all these stories, as I felt it shining through the pages with every book I've had the honor of reviewing. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!!

"Because I wasn't a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her anymore. I was a girl, lying under a MAN, who loved her more than she ever thought possible."

BB is without a doubt my favourite author and this may just be my favourite series ever!
Her talent and creativity as an writer seems to come so effortlessly that once I started reading SUIT, nothing could make me put it down.

She kept joking that SUIT was going to be so boring because well, it’s Kens book, however it was anything but.
I loved getting to read about how the outspoken, energetic, light up the room party girl fell for the clean cut, anti- affectionate, tie wearing, Gatorade drinking foul mouthed MotherF**ker.
She has me laughing out loud, tearing up, getting frustrated as hell and so damn proud all in one book.

Ken and BB don’t seem like they would go together at all but opposites really do attract, they seem to balance each other out perfectly.
He is closed off emotionally and doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve for everyone to see. Well, BB isn’t use to that and doesn’t know how to take it - hell, she doesn’t even think he truly likes her.
There were times I wanted to jump through the book to slap the shit out of him for being so closed off but in the end he made up for it.
Ken is so much more then the anti-hugger - he is funny and witty he is resourceful, loving and dare I say pretty romantic. #TeamKen!!!

After all the bullsh*t, she went through with the skinhead (SKIN), the car racing dope (SPEED) and the swoon worthy bass player (STAR) I’m so glad that that she finally got the love of her life accountant (SUIT) who was and is willing to do anything to make her happy.
This was the perfect end to an amazing series.

I’m so grateful that BB decided to share her struggles and her joys, her heart break and her happily ever after with us. We got to see her grow up bit by bit with every book and all of her experiences.
It makes me a little sad to think that this series is over but I can’t wait to see what BB has up her sleeve for us next.
Her talent is limitless.

44 star read for sure!

Well, she has done it again!! BB has some how managed to conclude her 44 chapters about 4 men series with the most beautiful, perfect, funny, angsty and heartfelt book ever.
Suit was absolute perfection from start to finish and that Motherfucker Ken has won my heart over with his whole actions speak louder then words persona. I just loved BB and Kens journey so much, we got the good, the how, the why’s, the struggles, the breakthroughs and revelations and throughout it all you could feel the love and bond that was so uniquely theirs. Gah....I’m just having a lot of feelings about the conclusion to this series and because it’s based a true life, the connection to these characters are by far the most genuine I’ve ever felt.
I’m sad that it’s over. It’s been quite the ride reading about these 4 men and I will conclude by saying you definitely saved the best for last.
Oh also...I Love You, You Are Amazing, I Want More!!!

5 STARS

I really loved this series. It made me laugh, roll my eyes, and cry, which isn’t an easy thing to accomplish. I feel a tiny bit sad that I’m done, that there isn’t anything left, but that’s because happiness is boring, right? Nobody really wants to read about fights over laundry. Meaning... BB has finally grown up.

In my experience, boys were opportunistic assholes. Even the sweet ones. Give them an inch, and they’d take your hymen.

Suit is Ken’s book. We already know he’s her forever; really, we’ve known since the very beginning. So, this is our payoff after three books where our hero ends up being a jackass. And you know what? It was all worth it. Because honestly- and I sound like such a mom here- but she wouldn’t have appreciated what was in front of her if she didn’t have those bad relationships in her history. I know how that is; if you look at my serious relationships, my husband is not at all my type. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why he’s my husband, while the others are relegated to the pages of my angsty teenage journals. Shitty boyfriends suck, but they can teach us so much (if we choose to listen). Remember that SATC when the psychologist asks Carrie what her string of men all have in common, and the answer ends up being her? I felt personally attacked by that episode, and I’m guessing BB would have too (had the show aired earlier).

It didn’t make any sense. He wasn’t my type. He’d never once come on to me. And he was about as emotionally available as a cucumber. But there was an intoxicating current of energy surrounding him that I couldn’t get enough of. I knew that electric charge was meant to keep people out, but I was a defiant little shit.

Suit is the perfect ending, really. Ken isn’t perfect. Nobody is, least of all Brooke. (We’ve been with her since she was 15; nobody knows that better than the reader). But the final book portrays how far Brooke has come. She’s still crazy, but she has learned a lot of tough lessons and been through more tragedy and heartache than any girl her age should. All I wanted was for her to fix her broken picker, so when it happened, I felt like a proud mother. Of course, though, the man couldn’t be ordinary, because Brooke fucking Bradley doesn’t roll like that. Ken is a lot of things: intelligent, honest, practical, and reliable. He also isn’t a lot of things, as in emotional, effusive, jealous, or affectionate. Basically, Ken is the antithesis of any boyfriend Brooke has ever had (again, this is a good thing). But who better for him to end up with than a future school psychologist?!

Nanny-nanny boo-boo. You can’t get me, his heart taunted from inside its impenetrable fortress, thumbing its nose at me from behind a pane of bulletproof glass. Challenge accepted, motherfucker, mine spat back, giving his the middle finger.

I’m gonna be honest: Brooke drove me a little crazy in this book, especially in the beginning. She always knew exactly who Ken was, yet she kept wanting him to change. On the other hand, he never asked her to stop being so selfish or stubborn. I sometimes felt like he loved her for who she was, and she loved him in spite of who he was. But, as usual, our girl learned, even if it was a little late. As it happens in life, we lost some people along the way, and yes, it hurt. I knew it was going to happen, it’s just... I wanted things to be different for Ronald McKnight. But, it was always too late for him, even at the beginning, and I always knew that. I’ve learned that lesson, too. I shed a tear for him, and everyone like him, that never had a chance.

(Side note: trigger warnings for eating disorders, some light S&M, drug use, PTSD, etc.)

“Tell me, Punk. Please. I need to know—” Knight took a deep breath, followed by a sharp, pained one. “I need to know I did something right.”

Life was surprisingly good, and the only thing that had changed was my attitude.

And isn’t that what you want in a partner? Somebody who laughs when you burn dinner and orders take-out? Somebody who looks at a wrong turn on the interstate as an opportunity to listen to your favorite album a little longer? Somebody who loves you at your worst, knowing you’re on your way to becoming your best?

OMG!!!! 1 million stars! First of all Spoiler alert BB ends up with Ken! 😂 The first time I read 44 Chapters About 4 Men I didn’t know what to expect, but I was l wonderfully surprised. I fell in love with BB’s characters then and have continued to love (and hate) them ever since and Suit did not disappoint. I didn’t know how BB was going to take boring husbot Ken and turn him into a book boyfriend, but she nailed it. Ken has always reminded me of my own husband. He is super cheap, not a romantic bone in his body, and is the complete opposite of me, but this book has changed my entire perspective of Ken and in turn my husband. He might still be cheap, but he can be my book boyfriend any day of the week! BB made me cry, laugh, and feel blinding rage while reading, Suit. Thank you, BB for inviting us all into your world and letting us all love your 4 men! ❤️

SUIT is BB Easton’s happily ever after with her husband, the "infuriatingly emotionless living Ken doll." Read the amazing blurb if you want the best summary. Here’s my thoughts:

For a man of few words, Ken has done some of the most romantic things I have ever known a man to do. He wasn’t supposed to be my favorite of the 4 men in BB’s life, but he is, and I loved every single one of those bad boys. When you’ve read hundreds of books about the other guys and you realize what you needed all along was a Ken —yeah, that’s the affect SUIT had on me. He was everything. The path to BB finding herself and finding her prince was everything. Her books are my therapy!

It’s been a soul-crushing, heart-cradling journey, but I've reached the end (and with straight 5 star ratings, that never happens, I'm such a tough critic). I bawled at the end of SUIT because I didn’t want to leave BB’s world. She gives us several epilogues, but I needed 44 more! *cries* I'm sighing so dramatically right now with my big heart eyes. I’m in love with their love!!

Praise to BB Easton and how brave she is, how honest! It takes guts, confidence, a strong foundation, and support to leak your past mistakes, private moments, love life, and personal growth to the world. Your first loves are supposed to be tucked in that special place in your heart and your true love tucked by your side, but BB put them in ink on bookshelves, everywhere. How badass is that?

This book is about Ken, the 4th and last man in BB's life.
I mean that literally because this is actually her real husband.

This book is part of her journal, strictly speaking her real life story, it may not be 100% the truth and part of the story was rewritten, but a lot of the events actually happened like in this book.
That's why this series is even more fascinating and interesting.
The series not only describes her life since the age of 16, but also describes her struggle with herself and her health condition.

Ken, where do I start?
First, he is not the type of man that she prefers. He doesn't smoke, drink or has tattoos and just lives healthy and very "economically".
In other words, he is the complete opposite of BB.
Ken is also not the warm-hearted type, what he makes up for "efficient" in other ways.

It's a long journey, from the moment they first meet until they become inseparable (in Ken's own way of course!) 🤭
I love this book, it's my favorite of all 4 books. Skin is the second one.

I love BB's journey through the nineties and the many of my own memories that it evokes in me.
But what I love most is BB's stubbornness and courage to look for the perfect love and life and not to be satisfied with nothing but the best.

This book/series is exciting, gripping, funny, erotic and in an unique fascinating way romantic.
It has of course a epic HEA too.

I recommend this series to everyone that haven't read it 🤷🏻‍♀️
