A fast paced, full of adventure, packed with magic at the ready. This book was great, loved the dynamics between the characters, their genuine love for each other, the way they all have each other's back. I also found them relatable, likeable, real people/witches. There's true commitment to each other.

It was nice not knowing what was to come, I couldn't predict what was going to happen every step of the way. Boy they have a really nasty, mean to smart for her own good relative, who's dyeing to wreak havoc. That demon wasn't any picnic either, nor the many other things that happened yikes!! Just another day in a witches life. A truly all around great book. Wish I had magic :) You like full throttle, like something always happening, like witches, fighting, great characters, mystery look no further. It's all here.

Raging Inferno is an action packed, paranormal romance thriller, with a good dose of humor thrown in. It’s another great story to add to your collection if you like your heroines tough and sassy. This is the beginning of the Delphine Rising series. The prequel Winds of Change is a good place to start before devouring this book. It has a good background story on all the kick-ass characters.

I loved this book and really was impressed with how well the series continued on from Winds of Change. It is a fast read that really pulls you in. All the characters have such fun personalities that really lighten the mood. From the start of the story we see action that continues almost non-stop throughout the book. The romance is cute and while it is part of the story, it doesn’t take away from it either.

Our story centers on Abby who is slowly finding her way through the darkness that consumed her heart after a tragic accident took away her best friend two years ago. The darkness inside her calls to the evil lurking close by. Abby soon finds herself marked for death by an evil ancestor and a demon. This darkness is covering the town she lives in and twisting the magical beings within. To save herself and her family and friends she will need to find the peace and strength within her to defeat them. With her kick-ass friends and family standing by her side she will find that love will always beat the dark.

Due to some content I would recommend this to adults.

I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it. All my opinions and thoughts are in no way influence by this.

In fact I loved the book so much, I purchased it!

TRUTH IN MAGIC.

I love to read fiction when I can find hidden gems of truth as well as reality and faith
disguised as action taken by the protagonists.

Raging Inferno is such a book. Delightful magic laced with combatting the dark sides of humanity, and I loved the message that these witches use God as their mentor and the strength to upgrade their powers.
Talk of the white light, God’s help to defeat the demons brought on a cheer from me.
Abigail Blanque and her sister, Liz, short for Elizabeth, grew up in New Orleans in a family where magic is common knowledge and common practice.

Her sister has a sword that will send evil spirits back to the light to be reprogrammed, while Abbi also has powers, more than she even knows she possesses.
Angela Sanders does a beautiful job of revealing the story to us in drum-beating action, as well as adding a swell of familiar, tender moments between Abbi and her family, and Abbi and her beau, Danny.  I defy anyone to read on and not to imagine themselves holding the key to all the same powers. At times, the story will tear you apart, More often, you will find the life we all know going on around this family, while they perform their extraordinary feats.
I thoroughly enjoyed every hour spent behind the pages of this book, and highly recommend it to you all.
I am awaiting the second book with trepidation. It will be a pleasure to read.

Raging Inferno was full of adventure and magic. A much enjoyed book. I'd also read the prequel Winds Of Change which left me wanting more to read about these people and the life they live, so very different to my boring ordinary one. My wishes were answered with this next part of the story! Raging Inferno (Delphine Rising book1) was a little bit scary as these sisters are out there ridding the streets of wicked low life characters that I wouldn't dream of facing, let alone hunting them down deliberately and vanquishing the baddies for the safety of others. Raging Inferno went deeper into the lives of the family we met in Winds Of Change as well as loyal friends, showing their strength, doubts and fears they also have to get under control in order to carry out the challenges placed before them.
I was given this book to read and review and I feel honoured to have been one of those chosen to do so! Angela Sanders is a fine storyteller, weaving a tale so enthralling that I found it annoying to have to take breaks from reading for things such as meals and sleep. I look forward to Delphine Rising book 2!

I read the prequel Winds of Change before I read this book. I just finished this one last night and I CAN'T WAIT to get the next in the series! It was full of action and sassy female characters. The story had a nice build up to a suspenseful ending. If you love paranormal romance and action all wrapped up into one, you are going to love this book. I typically don't give too much information about the story in a review as I hate it when I read spoilers, but Abby is one of my new favorite heroines. Her whole family is a hoot and her mom is definitely a strong female role model as are all of the girls. It would have been a quick read for me if I had had more time to sit and read when I got it. I will definitely be getting the next book. Angela Sanders is one of my new go to authors. If you have not tried her books yet, you should.

“The Darkness has been awakened.”

Angela Sanders is a new author for me, and wow is Raging Inferno a fantastic introduction. It’s lead, Abigail (Abby) Blanque is a fascinatingly layered and complex character. She’s still trying to overcome the darkness in her soul that grew after her best friend died a few years prior to this book’s start - and exacerbated by an inner darkness in her that she needs to resist. Of course the fact that a demon is after her and an evil ancestor needs her soul to escape a talisman-encased prison isn’t helping anything. Luckily Abby has kick-ass friends and family to help her defeat the dark. In this first book of the author’s the Delphine Rising series (though I understand that there is a prequel, Winds of Change) she’s doing just that in a really wonderfully written plot full of thrills and action, twists and turns, and with a heck of a well-crafted supporting cast of friends and foes. Great fun and I’m really looking forward to book 2.

Highly recommended.

Cover/Title: I love the cover.

Characters: I love all the characters but Abby & Liz are my favorites. I love a strong heroine and this book gives us two.

Plot: I love the mystery of the talisman. I also liked that the author gave us an ending but left something for book 2 instead of just stopping with no conclusion.

Overall: I really enjoyed this story. I love the adventure, the bit of a mystery and magic all woven together to create a story that leaves the reader not wanting to put it down. I read it straight thru because I was hooked from the very beginning.

Loved it. The author had me hooked from the very start and kept me entertained all the way through with loads of action as well as some laughs and a touch of romance thrown in and mixed up to create a great book. Having also read the prequel and loved that, I can't wait to read book two. If you enjoy Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance, then you are going to love this book.

Constant action, plot twists and a little sexy love thrown in. Good witches against evil demons and vampires. What more could you want, than the next book in the series?

This is a fast-paced action/paranormal read. The writing style flows and reading is effortless. The storyline is well-written with plot twists, intrigue, humor, and action. The characters are plentiful, well-developed with good interactions. This book is a page-turner and will keep the reader entertained throughout. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review

If you haven't read Winds of Change, Prequel to (Delphine Rising Book 0.5), give it a try. It gives you insight into Abby's life before her life descended into chaos and darkness.

This is a mix of magic and faith, not what I was expecting at all. I usually avoid anything faith-based as I feel it can exclude readers of differing or no faith. However, this blended quite well and didn't come across as preachy at all, more an image of a family who use their faith to shore up their magical defences.

Abbi is on a not-so-slow-road to destruction. After the loss of her best friend, she hits the alcohol hard. This is affecting her magical abilities and hinders her fight against rogue vampires. Her sister, Liz, has this cool sword of God but Abbi doesn't seem to care about expanding her skills. Add in Danny. Ex-boyfriend, a good friend but a reminder of everything she has lost. man, Abbi is mean to that boy. He's like a puppy, he just keeps loving her even when she is downright nasty to him!

There is a great mix of family, found family, and allies. Deeply comical moments (Karaoke anyone?) with the deeply profound and emotional. Delphine is not an ancestor I'd want to lay claim to either.
I'd definately be happy to read the next book in the series.

I had read the prequel to this series, so I was already introduced to this world with a story I really liked. However, I really liked this first book in the series so much more. I really liked getting to know Elizabeth and another character towards the end of the book better than in the prequel. Danny really didn’t change much from the first book aside from a little problem at the beginning which I’ll get to. I really liked the plot of this book, and the humor really was a nice touch. Action also kept the words flowing smoothly, and the end was spectacular. I have to admit that I did find Abby a little too immature at times, but she is fairly young and has been through a lot. And, when we saw Danny through Abby’s eyes at the beginning, I didn’t like him very much even after really liking him in the prequel. However, this all passed, and by the end, I couldn’t wait to read the next one. If you like YA/NA romance with a little mystery thrown in, you’ll love this! Recommend!!

DNF. I really wanted to like this book. I did like the plot, and most of the characters. I just couldn't like the main character. She had the worst case of bipolar disorder I have ever seen or read. She was all over the place, not a few times but pretty much every other page. She was also very shallow and rude. Not cute at all. I couldn't handle it. It took me two days to get through 47% of the book and I couldn't take it anymore.

Absolutely intriguing series!!!!

Congratulations to Angela Sanders for this intriguing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

This is my first book by this author and y’all... I’ve fired her. Lol. This book was entertaining, a little calm with a little crazy. The main character is a whole lot of sass and badassness. I freaking love that! Her sister ain’t so bad herself. And their mama... boy howdy. She’d put the fear of god in Lucifer himself if need be.

There is a lot that happens to this family and their friends. When trouble shows itself, cause ya know it always does, it’s a jerk like that, they call in the help of friends. Why? Well... Being magical doesn’t always mean you’re at the top of the food chain.

Witches, demons and a ghost from hell... fun time on the streets of Louisiana. Nothing to see here folks, nothing at all. I can’t wait to see where the author takes this story.
