The life I live is a dangerous one: I am an outlaw. A proud member of the Unacceptables MC.
Our club is a family and we will do anything to protect it - and I mean anything.
The dust was finally settling from our last war. I was sober, the MC was healing from our loss, and life was getting back to normal. But regicide cannot go unpunished.
And when a newcomer arrives and threatens all that we hold dear...well, he better watch his back, because...
I am Trent Laurence. I will stop at nothing to protect what I believe in.
Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Hope Mazzola is a Florida native now happily rooted in North Carolina with her loving husband and two lazy basset hounds. After several years away from publishing, she has returned to the romance world with a renewed passion for storytelling and a bold, reimagined vision for her Shots on Goal universe. She writes every flavor of contemporary romance— from steamy rom-coms to gritty biker tales to emotional, heart-thumping sports love stories.
Untouchable is the story of Trent and Sloan. This can be read as a standalone but is part of a series. To get some of the context you have to go back and read the previous novels.
Trent and Sloan lives are literally a cluster 'mess' of wrongs done by them.
When Trent was younger he became a drug addict 'by force' and eventually it took the Unacceptable MC to pull him out and save him. Now he's made it his mission to save someone else that is needing it desperately. Sloan is on the run from her VERY abusive boyfriend. She moves from town to town, never staying in one place long enough for the 'ace' to find her. That is until Raine steps in to help. Sloan and Trent meet and he sees a familiarity in her. Something in her eyes matches the same thing in his. Desperation and complete lose. Trent makes it his mission to protect Sloan from everything she is running from, even if that means making her his old lady.
Okay, let me first start off by saying, I really enjoy Kristen Hope Mazzola's writing and have loved previous books from this series. However, Untouchable was just okay for me. The plot felt extremely rushed and the character interactions felt forced. I was looking forward to Trent's story. I wanted this man to find true love, but this love was way to instant.
I rated Untouchable a three because there were parts of this novel that intrigued me and captured my attention. I wish this novel was longer and gave more depth though.
“Her brokenness shot through my heart, each shard of her crashing into me. I wanted to pick up every piece and glue them back together.”
Quick, sexy, thrilling and whole lot of fun!
Untouchable is fast paced and hits the ground running. Untouchable pulled me in from the very first page and I couldn’t stop myself from devouring it. I fell in love with Sloan and Trent almost instantly. Sloan was tough and gave it as good as she got. Trent had his own demons that haunted him, but he was determined to not let his past define him. Together these two were explosive and I just couldn’t get enough.
What else can I say about Untouchable? Well, I thought this book was a lot of fun. I totally devoured this book in just one sitting. This book had everything, from action to suspense, to insta-love and smokin hot chemistry. Untouchable was a terrific read and I look forward to checking out more from this author in the future.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
This was a great continuation of the Unacceptables seires , it can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend that you read the others in the series first to better understand it . Trent and Sloan are great for one another really enjoyed their characteristics . totally one clickable copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 10 heroine = 10 Chemistry = 10 steam = 6 romance = 7 humor = 3 darkness level = 6 enjoyment = 8 angst = 3 action = 6 mystery = 4 story line = 10 Story ending =10 character development = 10 pacing = 10 Plot = 10 cover = 10 stars = 4 author = 9 would I recommend this book = yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
Untouchable is the next installment in the Unacceptables MC Series by KH Mazzola. Untouchable is a quick fast paced read. Untouchable can easily be read as a stand-alone, there are only a few cross-over. I recommend to read the books in order. Meet Trent, he´s angry that the president of his MC was killed. He seeks revenge. And there is Sloan, she works as ER nurse and is in hiding from her psycho ex-boyfriend. But he finds her and she has to run again. Somehow she strands near the Unacceptables MC. One look from Trent and there is a strong pull to the woman. I really , really, loved reading this story. I loved reading about two lost souls who help heal each other. I give 5 stars and say thank you KH Mazzola.
Being an outlaw has is perks, for Trent it means protecting the ones you love by any means. Family is everything to the club and avenging the death of one is top priority, but when a new comer breezes into town, hie focus is now on protecting her and finding vengeance. Will she accept his life or continue running. This is a quick read that will have your heart beating just as quick. Trent and Sloan heat up the pages along with the suspense of the unknown and the danger lurking around the corner. Kristen brings us the characters we love, in all their bad boy glory.
I really like the characters and this series is great overall but I feel like we were missing a lot of Trent’s and Sloane’s stories. I was also confused about the timeline of this in relation to Ryder and Raine’s stories.
Untouchable by Kristen Hope Mazzola a fast paced filled four-star read. This is the forth book in the Unacceptable MC Romances but they can all be read as stand alone, but they do flow so if you enjoy a series go for them all, as each book gets better and better as you get to know the boys better. This is fast paced, thrill filled read. It did rush a little but it’s not a massively long read, and it could be longer but it was great. It can be read in one sitting and you won’t be disappointed reading this story.
Quick and steamy read!!! Fast paced that keeps you turning the pages!! Sloan and Trent are amazing!! This is one fantastic series!! Sloan is strong and totally spunky!! Running from her past. Trent is a complete alpha who's fighting past demons!! Together they fight to overcome the past!! Awesome story!!
So it must be said that had this story been a full-length novel and fleshed out more. Had the character been given more depth and a chance to really develop, I would probably be giving this story 5 out of 5 Stars. As it stands, however, it just moved too fast and was cleaned up and over in the blink of an eye. I never had a chance to know the characters or get a feel for the club or grow to care about the plot.
Technically, the writing was good and I think the premise of the story, while not unique, was good. I didn't know going in that this was less than 70 pages long and I'd never read the previous book so I wasn't aware that it was more of a fast-paced instalove type story. Had I known my feelings might have been a tad different towards it.
I liked Trent and felt as if I wanted to see much more of him. We got a small taste (hor d'oeuvres size) of his backstory and it left me completely intrigued. I want more of him a lot more because I think he makes a great H. He has a past that obviously is filled with a lot of dark and that darkness and the pain really molded him into the man he is. Unfortunately, though, we don't get to really see enough to fully embrace his character.
Sloane was okay but again without really getting to know her, I found myself unable to connect with her. The way she went from smart and strong woman on the run to melted puddle of goo with Trent sort of irked me. I understand it had to happen fast because of pacing but had we gotten a chance to see her slowly letting down those walls and learning to trust him, I would have believed it much more. Obviously, she trusted him, but why? She was drawn to him, felt a strong attraction towards him, why? What made her just decide to be open, free and safe with these people of the club? Again, I needed more.
Overall, I think this is a kind of quick fix type book. The sort of story you pull out when you don't have much time but you want to read about Biker's and their women. Would I recommend it? Yeah, sure. Just be prepared that it moves fast, very fast.

Untouchable is the latest book in the Unacceptables MC Series. Although this story can be read as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the books in order so you know what has taken place and what is going on. The whole series is fantastic and is well worth the read.
This book is about Trent Laurence. Trent in the other books always seems to be moody and somewhat of a player. With what happened in the previous book with their president Trent is even moodier and he is looking for revenge! He isn't looking for the girl that walks into the bar on random day, but he sees her and he can't take his eyes off of her.
Sloane is running for her life and she is tired of doing it. With her ex-boyfriend chasing her and threatening her she doesn't know what to do or where to go. She just know that she is done with running. Stopping at a bar in a small town she never knew that strangers could be so nice. It's where she meets Trent.
Trent can't stop thinking about Sloane, Sloane's not sure if she can trust anyone. What will happen when the chemistry between the two get hotter and hotter? Will Trent finally get his revenge? Will Sloane finally be able to get away from her ex?
This is a great book and I loved it. The only reason that I gave is 4 stars is because I wished it was longer. Felt a little rushed to me. I wonder what whose book is next in the series! Can't wait to find out.
I love a good MC Romance as much as the next girl, but Kristen has completely shocked me. She went against all the things we expect from an MC book, challenging all the stereotypes and making my heart melt. Trent has a dark side, dark enough that he’d make the devil look like a misbehaving puppy, but the love and loyalty he has for his MC, and the gentleness he treats Sloane with, had me in a major feels coma. I adore him. The way he’s made his MC his true family, instead of those he shares genes with, was so powerful and heartfelt that it brought tears to my eyes.
And Sloane, I can’t even. I empathise with her so much and I hate her stalker ex for what he’s done to her. It’s absolutely soul destroying, knowing the suffering she’s been through and the trauma that still follows her. I have so much admiration for Kristen Hope Mazzola for her portrayal of Sloane, not shying away from the darkness, but also showing how just because a man is an outlaw, doesn’t mean he’s bad. Sometimes, the outlaw that’s still tormented by his demons, is actually loving, and gentle, and kind. In other words, Trent shows how you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
This is a short, instalove novella, and while it can be read as part of the Unacceptables series, you can also read it as a sexy, one sitting standalone read. I can’t wait to discover more of Kristen’s work.
Trent is a proud member of the Unacceptables Motorcycle Club. The club had helped save his life and pull him back on track after hitting rock bottom and now he would do anything to protect the club which has become his family.
Sloan is on the run from an extremely violent and abusive ex-boyfriend. When she stops for the night in a parking lot in a random town, she has no idea that her life is about to take a huge turn. Outlaw bikers are supposed to be criminals, right? So why is Trent and the rest of the Unacceptables treating her like a long lost member of their family and willing to do anything to protect her from her ex?
While this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. However, past characters and plot lines are mentioned in this book. While I am a fan of the author, this story just didn’t do it for me. I found the plot to be weak and the characters to be under-developed. I felt like while Sloan and Trent’s storyline was resolved, the other major plot action was not . . . perhaps that is coming in the next book in this series? For those reading as a series, I also found some plot inconsistencies that carried over from the last book that kind of drove me insane as I read, as I am a detail oriented.
This novella was a very quick read and if you are a fan of a rougher and edgier MC book, you would probably find this enjoyable. It was just not my thing. 3 stars.
Let me start off by saying that I did really enjoy the plot of this book-and the author did a fantastic job with the writing, but my issue was mostly with the pace of the novel. It moved way, way too quickly for me and it was tough for me to connect with the characters throroughly. Sloan is on the run from an abusive ex, and finds herself being accepted into the world of the Unacceptables MC. She's welcomed with open arms and is certainly questioning everyone's motives for being so nice. Trent, a member of the MC, and ex-junkie, feels an immediate attraction to Sloan, and vows to keep her safe. With Sloan promising a weeks time with Trent and his MC, they both know that just a taste of each other's time is simply not enough. With a crazed ex out hunting Sloan, can Trent really keep his promise to protect his new love interest? I think for me, Sloan tried to justify too many times that things were moving too fast. There were several occasions where she "couldn't believe how fast things were moving" and it really just threw the story off. Also, I loved Trent, and we get a glimpse into his struggle with addiction, but I wanted more. I feel like the depth of his character could have been expanded greatly with some added torment of his past. This is a quick read, with a very well written story. If you're looking for something short, this is definitely a story you'll be able to blow through.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't read many MC romances, but this series has me hooked. It's a rare treat to find such complex characters in book of this length and the emotions that the author packs into those pages run the gamut. This group of people is more than just a club, this is a family in every sense of the word. The club is still reeling from the loss of their president when Sloan rolls into town and meets Trent. This pair certainly has some obstacles to overcome - he's a recovering addict and she's on the run from an abusive ex - but when they come together, the sparks fly. There is reference to the abuse that Sloan has suffered and the story of how Trent was introduced to heroin is absolutely heartbreaking. The romance is some pretty quick love and fan yourself sexy, but these two seem so right together. Overall, Untouchable is a novella length read that is packed full of action, suspense, emotion, romance, and steam. I can't wait to see what's next for this series. Note that the story does get violent and there are some graphic descriptions.
Another great installment to this series. I absolutely loved this book, I would've loved for it to be a bit longer but it could be just me and I'm greedy like that. There is nothing better than reading a story about two characters who are broken find that person that makes everything better. That person who will love you for who you are no matter you're past and want to be there for you through thick and thin. Both of these characters have dealt with a lot in their pasts and it has shaped them into who they are today.
He is dealing with stuff with the MC that makes life complicated. She is dealing with a stalker ex who she can't seem to shake. When she rolls into town trying to get away from him, both Trent and Sloane's lives are about to change. He is drawn to her and can't help but to want to help her and make her his. She doesn't know what to think about Trent. She isn't sure is she can trust him or the club that are trying so hard to help her.
You will love this book! I highly recommend it and I can't wait for the next from these MC men.
Let me start off by saying that KHM is my girl! I love all of her books! The Unacceptable MCs are a great bunch of guys that have all seem to have fallen on some bad luck at one point in their life. They welcome and protect anyone that needs help, especially women who are running from abusive men.
Trent and Sloan are prime examples of the clubs down on their luck people. Trent is an ex-soldier that fell off the wagon and was found on the side of the road. The club helped him get back on his feet and he has been an upstanding member ever since.
Sloan shows up in the bar parking lot after running all night from her ex, just needing to take a little brake. When the two meet, it is an attraction at first sight, well for Trent at least.
This fast paced, insta-love, heavy action and hot sexual book will have you begging for more once you get to the end. These are the kinds of books that you could read on a rainy Sunday afternoon and be quite happy when you finish before bed.
This is the next installment of the Unacceptables MC. While this book is a standalone I do recommend reading the books in order. This book is fast paced with danger and romance. Sloan is on the run from a violent ex-boyfriend. She happens to stop for something to eat and ends up at the Unacceptables place. Trent gets one look at Sloan and just knows that something is wrong. He has this instinct to protect her and take care of her. Trent wants revenge for Abel’s death. Trent and some of the guys are ready to deal out the punishment for whoever killed Abel. Now with Sloan in danger and the club looking for dish out punishment Trent must protect those closest to him. Sloan is now one of those people. I really liked this fast-paced book. I do wish it was just a little bit longer. I can never get enough of these characters and their stories. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Congrats on another great book Kristen. I was given this book in return for an honest review.
ARC given for a honest review I have loved every single book of Kristens.. I loved this one too.. I absolutely love Kristen.. Ive met her twice now and she is truly a beautiful person inside and out..
My only quam on this book is that is was to short/felt a little rushed.. I wish there was more to it.. I love her writing so much I never want it to end.. ❤️
We pick up where the last ended.. the MC is feeling the loss of their president.. They want revenge but they know they need to lay low.. that is till Trent gets word on who killed Able.. then all bets are off..
Sloan is on the run.. she has been dealing with a Ex that just won’t give up. So after the last incident has her hopping in her car and taking off to who knows where.. only to be woken up by a very pregnant Raine in the parking lot of the Unacceptable’s Bar.. she knows she needs a plan.. maybe just maybe she has enough miles in-between her and Ray..
Trent is immediately attracted to Sloan and vise versa.. so when Ray ends up finding Sloan will Trent and the boys be able to save her?
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read this. Love you lots and lots <3
I will NEVER EVER get enough of this series, and LOVED every one of the books, so Untouchable is no exception! Trent has finally gotten his life together, and is a member of the Unacceptables MC. He's mad as hell about his President getting killed, and seeks revenge. Sloan is on the run from her past, when she comes into Trent's MC world. The sparks between them are insane, and almost instantly explodes all over the place. But will he be able to keep her safe in the middle of his club getting revenge? This story is a quick, fast paced read that kept my heart racing cover to cover. Trent & Sloan are panty meltin' HOT HOT HOT together! And with this MC, there's an entertaining cast of secondaries that kept me laughing. Add in a twist or two to make the f-bombs drop, you have yourself a perfect story. If I had any complaint, it was that it was TOO SHORT, as I will NEVER EVER get enough of the brilliant Kristen Hope Mazzola! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Another great MC read from the lovely Kristen. This is book 4 in the series but may be read as a stand alone . Trent is a strong , sexy , powerful member of a local motorcycle club. He is tired of the single life and is looking to find a woman that he can connect with for more than just a one night stand. Unfortunately he is surrounded by club groupies and that will not do for the long haul! Sloan ...she is a smart, savvy gal that has once again had to pick up her life and set out on the lamb to protect herself from a dangerous ex boyfriend. She breaks down in a quiet little town and soon realizes that even the bikers and their wives are welcoming . She finds it hard to believe but the longer she hangs around the more attached she becomes! The moment her and Trent meet you can feel the energy between them , but does he and the club have what it takes to protect Sloan or will she need to run again ! Provided with a copy for a honest review! ~~Michele McMullen ~~
Sloan and Trent pulled me into their story from the first page, I was riveted and couldn't wait to see how things would turn out, not only for these two but for the MC as a whole. I read the book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down.
Sloan was a feisty fun character - she wasn't one to hold her punches so to speak and I love that about female characters. Trent had his own internal battles - he was haunted in ways, but he didn't let the past control him in all aspects.
I've enjoyed every book I've read in this series, as Mazzola draws you in through the action and suspense and leaves you craving more of the romantic elements as well. It's all tied up together in a web of connections and chemistry. I enjoy the way each part of the tale is spun and how it all comes together, though there are similarities there's always something unique to give it it's own special twist.
Untouchable is book 4 in the series and can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the prior books so I can say this does stand on its own.
Sloan is on the run from an abusive ex and Trent sees her and wants to take care of her. He is also battling his own demons. This was a quick and insta love type of read. This seemed short to me and the book ended before the 60% mark and only had 11 chapters. So as a result there wasn’t much depth in the ex Ray and I had a bit of a hard time with how quickly Sloan and Trent got together. Overall was a good short story, but I would have liked a bit more depth to the characters and their situations.
Hero 3 Stars / Heroine 3 stars / Steam 3 stars / Plot 3 stars / Overall 3 Stars Keys: MF, part of a series, Short Story, can be read as a standalone, MC, Instalove #MSBB - I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book
I loved this fast read. Trent was a really nice guy, upon his first meeting with Sloan it wasn't long for him to realize she needed help and came up to the mark. Sloan is on the run from her ex-psycho-boyfriend who she can't seem to escape from, he always finds her. Trent feels drawn to Sloan when they meet, he can sense she has issues that he could help with and protection is a task he's happy to give. It was hard at first for Sloan to fully trust Trent but he had plenty of patience and his MC family joined in and excepted her as part of their family. A story full of hope and love with a sprinkling of tense drama and suspense. A great story, I love the Unacceptables MC series.
Kristen Hope Mazzola has done it again! She has brought us another glimpse into this MC- a group that is more like a family- and has truly surprised me. She surprised me by talking a character I had encountered in previous books and didn't like, someone I saw as a disposable character and transformed him into someone I wanted to get to know more! I was able to see things through his eyes; he became human, relatable and desirable. Not only did Kristen make Trent into someone I cared about, she introduced us to Sloan. Sloan is a strong & determined woman, yet she is a bit vulnerable, scarred and scared deep down. If she gives up any of the control she has now in her life, will she survive? See how these characters in this fast paced action romance!
This series is quick read novellas - so there is insta everything!
Sloan is on the run after someone from her past finds her again. We get to see what has happened and you can't blame the girl for running. She ends up in the same town as the Unacceptable MC. Trent is pretty much "smitten" right away and his idea of a good idea almost cost him some jail time! The club is still reeling and dealing with the issues that happened in the previous book and some action takes place concerning that. This one didn't tear my heart out as the previous story did, but I still enjoyed it and can't wait for more.
I have liked theses novella's and read all four of them in about an day and a half. It's fast paced, just like the previous books. I just wish there was more to it. I feel like there is so much missing because this one is so short.
I liked both Trent and Sloane, but I didn't connect with them. We only got the surface with them since the book was so fast paced and short.
There wasn't a lot of closure with her ex, yes, he was caught, but nothing after that. I would have liked more depth to it instead of just being glossed over.
This is still a good read, don't get me wrong. It just didn't give me everything I needed.
When the Unacceptables found Trent he was a battered and bruised and a junkie but they made him clean and a member whose on the right path. When they find the person who killed the president of the club he is right there helping his brothers but when this woman on the run comes into the club bar he is in love. Stone is running again from her ex Ray but found her again but Trent doesn't want her to run he wants to protect her but trouble is on their doorstep again and he will do everything in his power to protect her. Love this MC story and now I love Trent and Slone. I requested this book for free from the author and I have chosen to review it
Untouchable is a quick fast read. It's loaded with great characters and a good story. Sloan is running from an abusive ex. What she finds is a sweet sexy MC member. Trent has devoted his life to the MC and the men who saved his life. When he comes across a beautiful woman in trouble he knows he needs to help her. Untouchable has a great story line and I did enjoy it. It is extremely fast paced and kinda rushed for me that's why I rated it the way I did. If your looking for a quick MC read this one is for you.
