Javier is a giant wolf-shifter, big as a smart-car, strong as the mountains he loves, and sensitive enough to protect everyone he cares about, especially his little sister, Thalia. Or at least that’s who he was until an enchantress ripped out his soul and tinkered with it, trying to turn him into a tool for her own evil purposes. Though no longer physically the woman’s captive, Javier is a shell of his former self, so numb to the world that he’s only vaguely aware of what he’s missing. He’s at least aware enough to distrust the woman fate has tied him to — Nora, the enchantress’s daughter.
Nora fights numbness of her own, numbness left over from the still-fresh-after-two-years loss of her husband. She also carries guilt from years of complicity in her mother’s schemes. But now that her bond with Javier has opened her eyes to the truth about her family, she’ll do anything to defeat them and help him regain his soul. Will all her sacrifices and all her love be enough to bring him back to himself?
This is the final book in the Lost Wolves series, however it can be read as a standalone!
Content Warning: This book contains lots of sexy shifter action. Intended for a mature audience only.
Reading wasn't always Emilia's passion, but over the years she developed an irreplaceable love for books. She writes about large, protective alpha males and their strong, sexy female mates. If you enjoy steamy shifters and fated mates, then you'll LOVE Emilia's books!
Javier is the final book in The Lost Wolves series, Emilia Hartley writes the most incredible inspiring shifter stories. Her wolves, or bears are humans that shift into beautiful and powerful creatures. This book 3 in The Lost Wolves series. Javier is a giant wolf-shifter, his shift is something to behold. Even though the enchantress ripped out his soul then she tried to turns his wolf into a monster. But only when he is with Nora does he feels some what normal in his human form. Nora is a white witch with her powers she heals but her mother is the one who stole her mate soul. This context of the story of Javier made complete sense (but it's horrible when he described what they did to him). I have always wondered how women who are with powerful but scary men are thinking and now with Nora I understand and that women who are with those men (Nora included) must put their love above every thi. To sign on to Javier as a romantic interest, a reader (and a lover) has to accept the acts done to him or what she made his wolf do murder, torture and all what is done to him by the enchantress. Nora had to figure out how to defend Javier against mother for the benefit of Javier only. Meanwhile Nora must learn how to use her healing abilities so that she can save Javier and they can learn to live as mates. We all knew going in that Nora and Thalia would find Javier but how would it happen. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. In fact, I had a hard time putting it down my reader. The characters are all great even the evil mother is one of the best written. This writing is wonderful, evoking images and all of the reader senses. I ejoyed how Emilia Hartley described Javier turning into a wolf. The power and the fear is part of the allure of Javier for Nora. Which makes the wolf run in the woods sequences is amazing it's so created I wanted to be in the woods. This is a thrilling ride with the adventures for Javier and Nora. This book contains lots of drama, sexy shifter action and suspense. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this book, but you get the idea. I'm so looking forward to reading more books from Emilia Hartley. What I enjoy in any book is the world in which the characters live and grow. The sexual relationship shouldn't be like reading nothing but porn. It needs to have a part in the story it shouldn't just be them having sex everywhere. I enjoy a story when the sexual tension between the characters is built up slowly. But what a perfect emotional ride! I highly recommend this series to all paranormal romance shifter fans.

This is the first book that I've read by Emilia Hartley.
I don't think I've read anything like this before and I enjoyed it. Nora, daughter of Cordelia, the head of the Hunters, is a traitor. She has mated with the enemy, Javier, a shifter wolf. All her life she was taught that shifters were horrible monsters who needed to be taken out. But, now with a shifter mate, Nora doesn't see the monster that her mother warned her family about. She would love to go away with her new mate, but there is a slight problem, and it's her fault; Cordelia has Javier's soul, and she's got to get it back. Since Javier is soulless, he isn't certain about his emotions toward Nora. For all he knows, this could be another one of Cordelia's ploys to capture him again and make him into her mindless "monster". I was disgusted by Cordelia and her antics, but her actions showed the depth of her lust for power. I feel as though if I mention anything else, I'll spoil parts of the book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and their world.
It took a chapter or two for me to understand what was going on, but once I understood, the story began to pleasantly unfold. This story flowed. I could understand the hesitancy for both Javier and Nora to trust each other, but that is exactly what's needed to beat the enemy. I also liked the supporting characters and would like to know their backstories. There was a balance of action, love, and angst. There were minor editing issues, but it did not detract from the story. While this book didn't keep me up wanting to finish it, it did hold my attention easily. I did not find it hard to follow despite that this not the first book in the series. Reading this book did create a desire to know more about the other characters. I would definitely read other books in this series. 3.5 stars
Nora listened to her mate whimper in his sleep. Her mother, a witch, had kept him caged as her favorite pet. When he escaped, she ripped out his soul. He had to return with Nora to regain it, but when Thalia, Javier’s sister, and a local detective arrived to rescue him before Nora and Javier could work out their own plan, he was free in the world but without his soul. Only pain and nightmares remained. He just hoped one day Nora’s magic would be enough to save and cleanse his twisted soul.
Nora waited at the restaurant for Cordelia. Her mother jauntily strolled up the street. She was up to something. Cordelia’s mission was to rid the world of shifters and she was very cruel. But Nora was here to barter for Javier’s soul. Cordelia loved watching her squirm and suffer. But Nora offered the one thing she could not resist – Nora’s natural-born magic. Her mother had to cut her magic from the bodies of others while Nora was born with her power. Before she could think twice about it, Cordelia accepted the offer and used her soul-magic to painfully slice through Nora. And when she got what she wanted, she smugly refused to release Javier’s soul and burst into laughter at her victory! Nora left the restaurant. What could she do now? She had nothing left to bargain with!
This was a bit confusing to me at first, as if maybe I missed something. But it didn’t take long to catch up! The characters left the reader in no doubt about their personalities and who was the enemy! The story line raced along with hope as well as defeat keeping the reader on edge. It was exciting and gave us an enemy we could all focus on! Don’t miss the adventure. Can these struggling mates find a solution?
Javier picks up where Rhyland ended. Javier and Nora can't be far from one another, but have no real connection. Javier 's loss of his soul prevents it. The mate bond is strong, but he doesn't trust it. He is trying to be a good mate. Nora risks everything trying to get Javier's soul back, and fails, leaving her broken. Cordelia takes advantage, nearly turning Javier into the pet she desires. The small Fangway see his alpha strength, and his wolf's need to protect. The final battle comes down to a battle of souls, Nora against her mother. Fast pace, bittersweet, and a little steamy. Loved Nora and Javier. Can't wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book from Booksprout. Emilia's books are an automatic buy for me, I know I will get a great story. She generously included a few of her previously released books as a bonus.
I’m a big fan of Emilia Hartley’s books and this is the 3rd book of the Lost Wolves series. Javier was caged by Nora’s mother Cordelia who is a witch and a real nasty one, she only used Javier as a pet. Javier escapes but not before Cordelia takes his soul. Javier is a wolf shifter a strong and protective man but when his soul is taken he’s not the man he used to be. Nora has grown up with a mother who steals peoples magic and then their souls and Nora will do anything to get Javier’s soul back. I loved this story you could feel the pain that Javier and Nora went through all because of her mother, Cordelia well she’s a nasty piece of work she doesn’t even care about her own daughter, and what she had done to them is unforgivable. This is such a great story and I can’t wait to see what Emilia brings out next. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Emilia Hartley has composed this third book in the Lost Wolves Series and I have read each one and enjoyed them all. What is especially good for me is that characters from the first book keep making appearances in the second and third so it is nice to see how their lives are progressing. Such well developed characters in Javier and Nora who is a widow. But having met Javier she will do all that she can to help him and work towards their HEA. There is drama and angst but all put together so beautifully that the love between them and their family flows so well and rounds this series off very nicely. I would recommend that you read each one of the books and in order to appreciate them at their best. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This book starts right where the previous book, Rhylan, left off. The pack has rescued Javier, but the witch, Cordelia, has kept his soul. The witch is Nora's mother, but Javier is Nora's mate and she sacrifices her own magic to try and retrieve his soul. Though their sexual relationship is good, Nora feels unworthy and Javier doesn't trust her. Without a soul he is in danger of turning feral and hurting someone. He is also still being hunted by Cordelia and her family. The small shifter pack has no Alpha and he is in no shape to assume the role.
Find out what happens to Nora, Javier, and the pack as they try to beat the witch and her minions once and for all.
I read an advanced copy of this book. My review is voluntary.
They are trying to find the other shifters and save them, but Nora felt the connection to Javier immediately, but can she go up against her mother? Will she survive? Will Javier survive? But when you can't be separated from your mate, what choice do you have?
Javier is a strong shifter and very powerful. He is set to take over the pack once his father is no longer able, but can he get out of this mess? Can Nora help him survive?
Such an exciting story that continues!!! The real battle is between Nora and her mother, Cordelia, who will win? Great read, I couldn't put it down and I can't wait for the next one!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow! This story totally make out for the disappointing previous book. The raw emotions were so palpable you can almost touch it. Very emotional and intense. Javier is a wolf shifter that has been imprisoned by hunters, lead by a evil witch. With the help of his sister and her friends he was rescued but his soul has been lost to the witch. Nora is a former hunter and daughter of the witch that captured Javier....And Javier's mate. She betrayed her family and everything she knew to protect and saved her mate. Butvtge fight is not over yet! There's more shifters to rescue and face off to her mother. Fast paced packed with action, intrigue, betrayal and romance. Highly recommended
I have read all of the books in this series and overall, I enjoyed them. This book went off the rails for me with all of the magic from the witches. Just a bit too different for my taste. The shifter part was great but all that magic left me a bit distracted. The book is actually well-written and the plot is very intricate. This was a good ending for this pack of misfit shifters. Remember, this is just my honest, personal opinion and if you want some intense dark vs light magic alongside your shifters then you will probably enjoy this book.

A perfect ending to a very exciting and terrifying series. The hunters did a real number on Javier's head and he knows it. He wants to trust his mate, Nora, but it's hard. After all, Nora's mother is responsible for everything bad that has happened. This book is gut-wrenching when considering everything Javier and Nora have been through, as well as the rest of the pack. I was so excited with the way the story ended. The only thing I would like, is to be able to check in on Javier and Nora in the future to see how she is adapting to her new life. This is a don't miss book. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Javier by Emilia Hartley is her lasted wolf shifter book. The plot was great but the writing seemed a little disjointed at times. There are quite a few editing issues. Aside from the technical issues I find that the characters were likable and strong. The book is #3 of a series yet it doesn't flow like an existing series. This may be due to its ability to be read as a standalone book. With the strong characters and the plot of a wolf shifter that has lost his soul this book has the potential to be much deeper. These are the reasons I'm giving it 3 stars.

After being trapped by the witch for years, Javier struggles with not having his soul. After being lied to for years, Nora struggles with trying to make things right. Fate brought them together, but others say it is wrong. Will Javier be able to find what he is missing? Will Nora finally be able to break free of her evil family?
LOVED Javier and Nora. I loved that despite not having a soul and struggling, Javier showed he cared time and again. I loved the fact that once Nora decided to help, she was willing to sacrifice herself to help the others. Great read!

This a great shifter romance!💗🐺💗
Nora realizes Javier is her mate but she feels so guilty about what has happened to him and other shifters that she doesn't think she deserves him. Javier has been abused by Nora's mom and her followers but he is slowly getting through it. He's also finally feeling emotions and his mate's call again but he's afraid he'll hurt her. It's an emotional story but it's so good.💗💞💗
Another exciting tale in this series. Javier and Nora are both broken, but are determined to stop Cordelia from destroying any more shifters. Intrigue, betrayal, danger and despondence are in the background of this story. I enjoyed following Nora and Javier’s journey of discovery as they begin to forgive themselves and learn to accept their worth to others, with lots of twists and turns along the way. A wonderful addition to the series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It is not your typical romance and is a darker story. Javier and Nora are mates but he has lost his soul to her mother and struggles greatly. She wants to save him but she isn't prepared for the evil she faces.
I like that the story alternates between the two so you really understand what they are feeling and why they take the actions they do. There is a real connection between them.
I think it is best that you read these books in order. There is a lot of action that happens before this one and it would leave you feeling a little lost.
I initially thought that this was not my cup of tea but then I got into the story and started enjoying it. Although this is the 3rd in the series i found that the story had enough of it's own elements to stand on it's own. I will go back to the others to get what would be the back story lines. I found this to be a fairly good mix of shifters and other paranormal to be interesting. Good and therefore recommended highly

I really liked how this book brought full closure to the series, it had a great mix of emotions as you watched Javier struggle with having no sole so therefore not really feel any emotion and Nora try to right the wrong of her sadistic mother. You can really feel the emotions they are all going through as well as the feeling that all may be lost for Javier. There was some real power struggles towards the end and well I just loved the ending you couldn't have finished it a better way.

Amazing storyline. The third in the series about wolfshifters. It is a standalone but to get the background and all I think it is best to read the previous ones first. Well written and with likeable characters that are well described. Absolutely heartwarming and with great chemistry. Noras mother has taken his soul and they try to get it back. Javier has to learn to handle emotions and can their bond come through that as mates? A story that makes tissues fly and emotions go up and down. A must read.
Javier: The Lost Wolves Book 3 by Emilia Hartley is the third stand alone book in this ongoing series that takes place in a small town named Fangway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This story is the highly adventurous tale of a surprising love between two people who should hate one another but are fated mates. The characters in this story show love can grow under the strangest circumstances but that love must be valued and treasured to continue to flourish. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a paranormal love story with a happy ever after ending.
Love this shifter series by Emilia Hartley This is the third book in the series and just as good as the first two. It has a great story-line with characters that draw you into their story. that keeps you wanting to read more. I couldn't put this book down and read it in one session. If you also enjoy Paranormal Romance bout shifter then you will truly enjoy this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A shifter romance with magic and witches. An intriguing storyline and wonderful characters that were well written. Nora and Javier are mates but he has no soul because of her. Nora's mother Cordelia has Javier's soul and is an evil person. You will have to read the book to find out if Nora gets Javier's soul back and what else happens.

That was an ending I was not expecting. But boy, was it a good one! So much happened here and within just 3 books. I think Im surprised a conclusion was found already. Though we have an ending... I still want more. Most likely because I am greedy. Even so, I want more. Nora and Javier had to fight the most demons to find themselves and each other. Their journeys are worth the read. I would highly recommend. Happy reading! Rating 5 stars
A well-written story, it is the third book in this series and I know I want to read the next book each book just gets better than the one before. There is danger, suspense, drama it all kept me reading I had to know how it would end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The final book in the series. So much of Nora’s life has been pain and loss. But watching her mate and blaming herself for the loss of his soul is the worst. The final book answers several questions. Lots of action and some hot scenes. I love how the pull of a soul mate seems to bring the best out of each of them as they fight for each other.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.
arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Nora is the daughter to Cordelia the soul sucker witch and in charge of the Hunters . Going down a dark path herself till she sees Javier her mothers pet and her mate . She can't help to help him and take her mother down. Awesome
This shifter romance offers plenty of drama. Fated mates Javier and Nora must face many hard and painful challenges on the road to a HEA. Book features a powerful storyline that is filled with strong emotions. A very good read and conclusion to this series. This is my honest, voluntary review.
An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author.
