I really enjoyed this book, set in an apocalyptic setting, Rihanna has been on her own for years, trying to survive in the dangerous world life has turned into, when she is found by a group of shifter males her life will never be the same again

Full of excitement and danger from the start, I absolutely loved Rihanna from the start, she is strong and fiesty, but has a vulnerability about her. A very enjoyable read but I would love to have seen a little more interaction between Rhiannon and her guys

The premise was good but I just feel this book needed more development all the way around. It felt more like a serial, novella or a prequel than the actual novel. That being said I would've loved to know more about the dystopian world they're living in, more about the princess' life previous, more time spent on the relationship with the men (which was largely nonexistent), more time spent on all the characters and more detail spent on the magic everyone was or wasn't using. Now that's the book I'd like to read. I'm hoping book 2 Fae Blessed will resolve some of these issues. We will see, if not it'll be a bit disappointing bc this book didn't really seem finished to me and I can definitely see the potential.

This was a very entertaining story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!! I loved the fiery Autumn Fae who possed such a fierce fighting spirit. Her wolves were interesting characters who all had a mind of their own. I think that mates are so very appealing! And for one to resist the bond is such a captivating idea! End of the world themes are intriguing and frightening. I think the ideas of Paranormals being able to survive most apocalyptic circumstances wouldn't be such a far fetched idea! 😉 I think that the world building was imaginative. I can't wait to read more about the interesting world and the Paranormal creatures that reside within it.

Really good set up for a new series.
This time it's read full of paranormals, apocalyptic world, and reverse harem - everything I love in books!
Characters were well developed, the plot was intriguing and we got to see characters from other stories by Ms. Greenwood! Which was great to see that all stories are interconnected!

Rhianna, one of the four fae princesses, meets Zeke, a wolf shifter, and three other wolf shifters, Jacob, Mika, and Charlie. She denies their mutual bond and their help, and runs away from them. After she is captured by a strange cult, they rescue her. They claim all four are her mates. But their bond needs to be acknowledged by all. During a rescue-and-destroy mission to her previous place of captivity (whatever it is and whoever her captors are), the bonds are finally completed. They rescue three captives and kill all the captors, then they all head for Sanctuary and safety. It's a pretty good story, though it reads like a middle-of-a-series story. Much of the history of the characters and world seem missing, as though we come in during the middle of an unfolding drama. This book should be part of a series; as it ends, it should lead into the next book, Fae Blessed, but according to some reviews, it doesn't. Disappointing, if true.

This was a great apocalyptic reverse harem! Rhianna ran away from the fae realm five years ago and is stuck in the destructed human realm that her people caused. She’s been running ever since with no way out and now she’s running from wolves. These four wolves, Charlie, Jacob, Mika, and Zeke, are actually her honor guard sent from her mother to protect her and bring her back home, but they’re also her mates. I loved Rhianna’s independent and stubborn personality, that she doesn’t immediately follow them when they first meet, and also the fact that she runs away from them too. I liked all of the men and their roles, but I think I always tend to go for the broody or playful ones and Jacob was definitely my favorite of the pack. Laura creates a great apocalyptic world and the humans that are willing to do anything to restore order. I wish that there was a little more romance, but at the same time I appreciated that it wasn’t overwhelming. I would have liked to see her gain more control over her powers and shift, but maybe she’ll cameo in the rest of the series or get her own full series later.
Tracey did a really good job with this narration. I loved that she gave each character their own voice, but it did feel like the accents changed quite a few times for Jacob and Mika. Her voice was very easy to listen to and kept me engaged until the very end.

Rhianna’s a runaway princess from the Fae Realm. She’s survived on her own for 5 years, but now she’s being chased by wolves and their not just any wolves. No, they are her Honour Guard who need to take her back to the Fae Realm.
This book is set around the Witch Hunters old base and the prisoners, which Rhianna finds her self as one. Rhianna and her men do everything they can to fight the hunters and rescue who they can before finally making the journey to the sanctuary.

She’s also a strong, stubborn and independent character who doesn’t fall over herself to give into the demands of four gorgeous shifters upon first meeting.

Wolf Blessed is a dystopian paranormal reverse harem series and great start to the series. I’m looking forward to next book Fae Blessed.

Hall of Hope was a short, action packed, reverse harem paranormal romance. The plot was imaginative and interesting, set in a post apocalyptic world and held my attention until the end. I liked the characters, Rihanna was independent and strong with a touch a fiestiness and I loved her interaction and banter with her 4 men. I would recommend this novella to all lovers of paranormal romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Tracey Rooney. She did a good job with the narration and had great pace and timing. I enjoyed listening to her narrate this novel.

Fall of Hope by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal apocalyptic reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Tracey Rooney. The book use to be titled as Wolf Blessed.

I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more! I cannot wait to dive into the second book of the series Rise of the Night (previously known as Fae Blessed).

Tracey did a great job on the narration. There were a few spots throughout the story that she repeated a sentence or phrase but not enough to distract from the story.

Running away from the Fae realm was not a good decision, especially since she ran right into the end of the world -- literally. Most animals and humans had died out now, so the howling wolves she heard were unnerving and Rhianna found it best to keep running and out of their path. With the Fae being blamed by any remaining people for this disaster, capturing a full-blooded Fae who could control the seasons was thought to be the cure for the out-of-control world they now lived in. And unfortunately for Rhianna, she was one of the four princesses, so as the Autumn Princess, she was exactly what they were looking to find.

As she ran, she tripped and fell, scraping her knees and grimacing at the fact that shifter wolves could smell blood from miles away – and they were far closer than that already! Sure enough, standing right in front of her was a huge man who identified himself as Zeke. Apparently her mother, the Queen, had sent them after her years ago to bring her back. Thinking that was a moot point now with the Fae portals sealed, she stood to escape again, only to be surrounded by several more wolf shifters! But the feisty princess was not going to accompany them. She told them she didn’t want to return to the Fae world, even if they knew of a way, and she would take care of herself just fine.

But plans don’t always go as expected and Rhianna was captured by crazies who planned to restore civilization in their own twisted way. After a couple of weeks, her four wolves - Zeke, Charlie, Jacob and Mika – finally found her. When they later found witches in very serious condition with their power being drained, they knew something had to be done. Could they defeat Ruairidh? Would Rhianna bond fully with her mates? What kind of future awaited them? Will they find sanctuary?

I loved the sassy spirit displayed by Rhianna. She was fun and courageous, having been on her own for five years before her protectors caught up with her. The guys were very likable as well and I enjoyed their interaction with their mate. I hate to see the story end – it was enjoyable and made me want more. Grab your copy and see if you agree!

I received an Audible Code through a Facebook group called Audiobook Obsession. This was for an honest review and I was not compensated for this review. What follows is my opinion and mine alone.

First, I should state that even though this book is a reverse harem, I wouldn't worry. And by worry, I mean that this is not a steamy sexy romance. This is a paranormal apocalyptic book where we see the future of the world after a cataclysmic event that is only mentioned. The romance just happens to be in the book and it isn't really in your face. It's more like: "a hot group of guys meet a girl and they work together to stop some bad stuff from going down. Oh and by the way, they are mated."

That isn't to say that the book isn't well written. There were some parts that I was hoping there would be elaboration, but it was a fun read. I know the blurb says that this is the complete story, but I can't help and think that there is more to it than meets the eye. There is a sequel and perhaps we will see more of what is going on.

The world itself is interesting and leads the reader into wondering all the possible outcomes. I personally don't think Rhiannon's story is actually complete, but I do like that there is a continuation of the world.

As for the narration, the narrator was chosen well and I could feel the main character. The male voices were well done and no one sounded exactly the same. All in all, it is a quick and fun read that I wouldn't mind listening more of.

Laura Greenwood tackles action and fight scenes in Fall of Hope.

Add Rhianna to the list of Greenwood’s bad-ass heroines. Greenwood has her battling multiple enemies and takes the time for a kiss or two in between slamming heads. I have to say that I really enjoyed the fight scenes. They are descriptive, action flowing, and aware.

Fall of Hope concentrates on freedom. Freedom from captivity, the past, loneliness, and despair. Rhianna has been on the run for five years. She has only depended on herself. She was smart enough to train herself to battle without using magic. Her source of strength is her character.

Greenwood does not really let you get to know the men, with maybe the exception of Charlie. The story is about saving not only yourself, but then saving others who are in the same situation even though you might die. I’m a veteran so this story really resonated with me. I think this is why I like Rhianna so much. She’s huge and once again Greenwood creates another heroine to root for.

This is not to say that fae magic is not pretty cool. I love the description of one of the kissing scenes where Rhianna’s power flows out. Greenwood described something so beautiful I wanted to be right there. This could be though because we just got 12 inches of snow and I want a little Fall back in my life. (laugh)

Nah. Greenwood gives us another fantastic tale. I cannot wait to see the next book in the “Return of the Fae” series.

Adequately Good

I know that doesn't make a resounding recommendation, but this story must have been one of Laura Greenwood's earlier attempts. It's good but not great.

Something I did like was how Laura skipped over time that didn't need to be minutely described as to how characters were spending their time on mundane activities. For instance Princess Rihanna was kidnapped. The two weeks she was gone weren't written, just the events of the rescue, which served to move the story forward.

However, I did have a major problem with the other side of setting, which is place. Laura didn't spend much time describing the places the action did occur. Here's the note I made for this frustration: There's no description here. Charlie and Rihanna broke into a bad facility through a window to save people. They dropped into a room, but there's no description about the contents of the room: A coat closet? A pantry? a storage room? I don't know, because I can't SEE where the characters are! It helps to build suspense if I know what they're facing.

Laura Greenwood merely told readers the place name and moved on to the main character's internal thoughts. She expected readers to fill in with their own background knowledge, but she abrogated her responsibility as the storyteller. She didn't SHOW the story through her manipulation of words. This aspect of her writing causes it to be only adequate.

Wolf Blessed follows the adventures of a fae princess who ran away from the fae realm only to wind up in a post-apocalyptic world where the fae are blamed for the disaster! A wolf shifter honor guard sent by her mother, the queen, finally tracked her down, but Rhianna does not want their help. Soon, she's captured by people who believe that having a full-blood Fae like her will help them restore balance and order to the world. Her wolf honor guard retrieves her a few weeks later, but they find something else dark and mysterious going on where she was held.

Will Rhianna stay with her wolves this time and let them protect her? Does the fae have something to do with causing the apocalypse? Will Rhianna and the wolves get back to the fae realm? What strange experiment are the bad guys doing with the witches?

Goodness, this book had a lot going on in it! It's a relatively short book, so with so much going on, there wasn't as much space as I would have liked for characterization. I liked the wolf honor guard; they were all that that name suggests. I would have loved to have seen her have more time with the wolves.

If you like fast-paced shifter novels and don't mind that there's not much characterization, you might enjoy this relatively quick read.

*I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.*

This book was disappointing. There was a possibility for a great storyline here, if it had had more depth. The relationship with the characters is far too quick and easy, even if one of the parties was a little slow into it. When Rhianna first meets her quad of mates, she is in no way inclined to let them save her. But, not long after, when she meets them again all guilt filled (most notably when they save her), she gives in really easily. There is no real fight and flight, no real love chase – once she realises that they’re her mates, all of them, she is willing to submit, with barely a whimper (well, OK, many a whimper, but because she was that into it).

And, defeating the enemy, happened so easily once Rhianna was finally willing to unleash her powers.

I did love some of the banter between the characters, but it needed filling out, perhaps phased over several books. There were some great scenes, but all in all it felt more like highlights than a full story, which is a shame, as so much more could have been done with it. It being the end of the world and all, we didn’t really learn much about it.

Final rating: ★★★☆☆ – Sort of liked/OK

Rhianna is a runaway fae princess. The Autumn Princess. For five years she's been trapped on Earth as the world fell apart. Now her past has caught up to her as four wolf shifters, her guards have found her. As much as Rhianna hated for the past to catch up to her, their timing couldn't have been better since she was kidnapped that very night by a group planning to restore civilization. Unfortunately, their plans may be worse than the end of the world.

Wolf Blessed is a paranormal apocalyptic RH that fits into the fated Seasons world. Rhianna is a compassionate, capable heroine. Her wolves are a team of hotness. The Alpha Zeke, his Beta Mika, the playful Jacob, and the reluctant Charlie. I want more wolf time!

This is an entertaining, quick read full of action and tie-ins to the rest of the Seasonal World. This is the first in a series but this book is a complete story, no cliffhanger. I look forward to more Rhianna and her wolves and to her reunion with the other season's princesses.

This tale has fun, adventure and excitement right from the beginning through to the end. Laura Greenwood has managed to do it again with an interesting take on the Fae universe. Here, in Wolf Blessed we follow Rhianna as she finds that the world she thought she'd left behind hasn't quite let go of her yet. In this post-apocalyptic world, the Fae have abandoned Earth in favour of their own realm, leaving behind various supernatural beings.

Rhianna, a Fae princess on the Earth side of the portals, has survived on her own for 5 years. But now, a group of four gorgeous wolves find her, becoming her guard. But don't let her status fool you, Rhianna is able to give as good as she gets, fighting her way to freedom and standing up for what she believes. Her four wolves - Zeke, Charlie, Jacob and Mika - believe the best in their situation, having searched for their Princess for a long time.

Looking forward to see what happens next in the series with Fae Blessed.

This first book in the Blessed series was an interesting read, set in a post-apocalyptic world caused by the loss of connection to the fae world (the fae control the seasons, so without them the weather just went completely crazy, which combined with climate change to wipe everyone human out, especially as paranormals came out of the closet and more fighting caused more deaths). It was an intriguing premise for a story, and the story itself is excellently written, full of twists and turns, action and a twist of romance. The only thing that let it down a bit was that the ending was a little abrupt, but otherwise it's an excellent story.
If you love shifter and supernatural/paranormal romances and stories you'll enjoy this story. And if you've read the Paranormal Council series and Seasons series by Laura Greenwood, you may just encounter characters you know too!
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions

Rhianna is an Autumn Fae and she is tied to the fall season. She is one of the four fae Princesses. Now that the portals are closed no can get back to Fae. So most of humanity and paranormals are stuck on this destroyed earth side where there are barely any basic necessities. There are no more animals or seasons. She is being chased or hunted by 4 werewolves. They are wolf shifters assigned by the Queen to bring her home. The four men are her Honour Guards and her mates. She does not want to have anything to do with them at first. Until she gets captured and held in a cell for 2 weeks until the men find her. The men are Zeke, Jacob, Mika and Charlie. They helped her escaped, but came back later with all the men to amount a rescue for any prisoners. They found four women in bad shape. They took everyone to the sanctuary. To be continued??

When the world as we know it ends, humans blame the fae for it and hunt them, believing that they may be the solution to restoring the world. Rhianna is a fae princess, who has run away from her realm to the human world and gets tangled in the mess. Being hunted, she manages to survive alone for five years, until four wolves track her down. As it turns out, they're her fated mates. But she's captured and imprisoned by people who use the paranormals for attrocious experiments. Will she escape? Will she bond with her fated mates? And will they manage to get to stop the nefarious plans of abusing the paranormals and get to safety?

A slow burn RH, set in a post-apocalyptic world, with a kick-ass heroing and four delicious wolf-shifters. Action-packed and full of twists, the story will grab you from the beginning. I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment!

Rhianna was a Fae Princess of Autumn who had runaway and wound up being trapped on the human side when the portal closed. Unfortunately, everything had been destroyed and those that remained laid the blame at the hands of the Fae. She's spent five years running, hiding, and trying to survive until a pack of four wolf shifters, sent by order of the Queen, caught up with her.
Laura Greenwood has created a world of Fae, Shifters, Witches, and Necromancers and filled it with magic, mystery, intrigue, and the promise of Fated Mates. Her characters and the bond between them are building slowly and there are still questions to be answered and yet we received a happy for now ending. It will be interesting to see where they go from here. I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my voluntary review.

The world has come to an end. The face Princess Rhianna is trapped on earth after the portal to the face rheum closed. She has been on the run from wolves and they catch her, only they want her to go back.

What a great book filled with paranormal characters, action and romance. The writer spins a great tale of survival against the forces of evildoers, environmental instability and attacks from a host of interesting paranormal characters. It is also an emotional rollercoaster as they try to form bonds with each other but are subject to internal barriers, fears and an uncertain future. I enjoyed this book as the main chapters were fighting injustice an brutality together. It is a great read so if you enjoy paranormal adventure and romance you will like this book.

Like all of Laura’s books this one does not disappoint. As soon as I started reading my attention was captivated and I was fully invested in Rhianna and what she was going through. She is a great FMC who is full of spunk, magic and is feisty as hell! She still feels some vulnerability though as she has been alone and on the run for so many years. When she meets to wolfs that have been sent to protect her there is a lot of tension and instant connection...these are her mates! Charlie and Jacob were my favourite of the two and I wish that Jacob got more time in the book! This book is full of action from the very beginning all the way through...but I will say what I did want more of was interaction between Rhianna and the guys and to feel their connection more and for them to actually have some deeper conversations. This is quite a quick read and does not finish on a cliffhanger which was good!

I really liked Rhianna, she was quirky, stubborn and a fighter. She ran away from the fae realm for a reason but when the world went haywire the door between the worlds closed permanently and she was left to fend herself, which she does remarkably well. Most animals and humans are gone and paranormals abound. She has kept to herself because most of the world blame the fae for everything that has gone wrong. When she meets some wolves it turns out they are more than the honour guard that was sent after her by her mum. Together they discover something abhorrent and have to work together in order to bring it to an end. I liked the characters and the story kept me engaged the whole way through.

Rihanna is a fae princess from the autumn court stuck on the human side of the portal. From the beginning she has an attitude problem. She meets four wolf shifters that are guards sent by her mother before the portal collapsed. After so long and being so careful, she blew all of her caution and ended up being captured. This is where things get dicey. She's now upset she ran from her guards. This is where things get exciting and twisted. I did like the way it ended, but I also wished there was more. Has the potential to be a great book

Loved the idea about the story with how the face intertwined with wolves but overall the story lacked some details. Everything felt a bit rushed and was hoping since this book.was rather short that the next book would provide more answers. Unfortunately that isn't the case. Great main female character and loved the start of her harem but was disappointed in the lack of details and that love for the characters you get as a reader because I felt I really didn't get a chance to know them. Still a good read just think it could be so much more.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What amazing world building this book holds! We get a post apocalyptic world that suffers from no seasons and crazy weather that cannot be predicting. This has pretty much killed all of the humans leaving only the paranormals. Rhianna is a Fae princess that is stuck on Earth after the portal closed and Fae are blamed for the way things are so she has to stay on the run. She is successful for a full five years before a group of wolves catch her claiming they are her guardians. Just when she thinks she doesn't need them life shows her differently which leads to the start of glorious romance between them all as they try to stay alive long enough to reach safety. Great characters in a well written world with enough action and romance to keep you turning pages until you hit the last one. Great for fans of the genre and it is pretty much a stand alone so no waiting for more. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
