Oh my god .. I freaking loved this book. I couldn’t put it down, Im telling you, you will be hooked from the beginning to end with all the sexiness and angst that the author is bringing you. Callie Anderon how can you leave me hanging like that with that ending . I need book two pronto. Im loving these characters especially the sexy hot shot lawyer Cole Rhodes , my god he is delicious and dominant . My kind of over protective alpha . This book is so different then past books of Callie Anderson and im loving it . ..A must read #ARC

It is my opinion that this book needs a bit more editing. The story, although not very “new” and super original, isn’t bad. But the way it’s being told made it hard for me to really get into it.
First because the romance/love between the main characters was hard to believe. It all happened to fast. And the writing the way it was made it seem even faster (something would happen and then the characters and story would jump to something else right after, without much of a bridge - like when the main characters would fight: suddenly all would be well again). It was borderline insta-love for me.
Then the characters - they were very hard to relate to and I still can’t really see their connection, because I feel there hasn’t been much time for them to develope one. Or to fall in love.
I think there was a LOT going on with this story (specially the heroine - who frustrated me a lot with how immature she was through the whole book). It’s almost like things were thrown into the story to add some drama and shock value. But it didn’t. Add anything. For me the story could do with a little less and a lot more editing/development.
Overall the idea is good, but unfortunately for my tastes the execution isn’t there yet. I will say I’m still curious enough to read the second book.

Telling herself it's just sex keeps things neat and tidy and tucked away. Cole has his own demons he struggles to deal with, but he is more than a little frustrated by Kat. She's a tough cookie and he knows she's hiding things. Big things.
Kat has made a career of helping those abused, determined to give them the justice they deserve.
This is a book one of a duet, so just be prepared that the story is going to leave you hanging, wanting more.

Wowza!!
Not really knowing what I was getting to with the blurb, or the first few chapters, Callie Anderson had me hooked by the third. I couldn't read this book fast enough to see how the chips were going to fall for this not-suppose-to-be-happening couple.
Cole Hunter comes off like a total a-hole right out of the gate. Sexy, arrogant, demanding, a complete turn off to me. However, underneath those expensive suits is an entirely different man. I wasn't a fan for the first few chapters, however after learning more about him, I changed to team Cole all the way!
Now Katherine I liked from the get-go. This is a girl that rose up from a tough life and is really making it for herself in the big city. A few more hurdles and she will be on her way to the career she’s worked so hard for. Something Cole already has and that is wherein the problem lies. Katherine needs discretion and he's not worried about a thing. Nothing stops Cole Hunter.
Along with the sort of forbidden romance we have going on, Katherine is on a mission, one close to her heart, which adds even more angst to this story, something I appreciate. Every other chapter was nail biting and with this book, the first in a duet, I knew the ending was going to be super irritating. Which it was.

Damn....that ending....
But their beginning is so something that you can feel the passion between Kat and Cole right at that moment...and their intense love affair is just as such...filled with want and need and more intensity. And although their love is kinda indiscretionary because they are both on opposite sides of the bench, their story is truly beautiful and heartening.
She writes these characters so profoundly that their pain becomes your pain, their triumphs are yours...she is an exceptional writer all of her books keep you wanting more..just like this one...

Oh. My. God! *said in my best Janice voice* Indescretion by Callie Anderson was a wild ride from beginning to that massive cliffhanger at the end. I'll have to forgive Callie for that... Eventually. :) The book had it all... A heroine who was learning to embrace her inner strength, a hero who was deliciously alpha, but also had a sweet side that makes your panties melt, angst, and off the charts heat! Kat and Cole were set your kindle on fire hot!
Once I started reading, I could not put it down. Simply, Indescretion consumed me. The back and forth between Kat and Cole kept me completely invested in the story. Neither one of these characters ever had a healthy adult relationship, for reasons that get explained within the story, so they are navigating it together. They thought they would have one night, but that one night just wasn't enough. The pull between them was too hard to fight. From the moment Cole laid eyes on Kat, she didn't stand a chance. He was determined to claim her, and make her his, and boy did he ever! Even with the deck stacked against them.
I can't wait to see what's in store next for Kat and Cole! Redemption needs to be on my Kindle, like now! I have to know if these two characters get their HEA!

Callie has done it again. If you are looking for a great story with plenty of heat, this book is for you.
From a young age to early teens, Kat didn't have nightmares, she lived a nightmare most nights. When she went off to college, the trauma of her childhood haunted her, and she found relief in numbing herself. Her roommate Lila, and Ben, another friend she met in college helped her get the help she needed. After college her & Lila move in together, and they remain close friends with Ben.
While waiting to take the bar exam, she is offered a once in a lifetime internship with one of her professors at his law firm. While attending her first meeting at the law firm, she realizes that the hot guy she briefly met at a club that weekend was opposing counsel.
The chemistry between Kat & Cole is off the charts from the beginning. But, being an intern, and him being opposing counsel puts any thoughts out of her head about acting on her attraction. On top of that, she soon finds out that Cole is a good friend of her roommate's on again, off again boyfriend.
Cole however is relentless in his pursuit. He wants her, and he isn't letting stand in his way.
What starts out as casual sex soon turns into something more. Kat is confused by her feelings because she's never been in a relationship. Cole is taken by surprised by what he feels for her because it's usually just about the sex for him.
There's a lot of push of pull between them. They know it's wrong to be together, but they can't control their attraction to each other.
Kat is on her way home before work after spending an amazing night with Cole, where they both admitted their feelings and decided to figure things. She's a few feet from her building when she stops short, and sees her worse nightmare in front of her. A few words are exchanged, and she runs into her apartment looking for Lila who she knows can talk her off the edge. Lila isn't home. In the middle of freaking out, she tries calling Cole and Lila and Ben, and their phones go to voice mail.
In the middle of her breakdown, with no-one to talk her out of her panic attack, she reaches into her drawer and grabs a bottle she hasn't opened in years. She feels like there's no other way to block everything out.
When will Lila get home? Will Cole get worried that he hasn't heard from her? Will Ben see that she called and decide to stop by her apartment? Will someone at work be concerned that she didn't show up?
I won't know until January 21st when Redemption comes out, and I can't wait!!!!

Have you ever imagine what can possibly worst could happen to you than death? Something that would rip out your soul, your very self, your innocence, your future, your every single breath...
As a woman, Katherine live her life like zombie out of guilt of something not her fault. Out of fear for the evil that has took her innocence childhood. It breaks my heart reading her story. Knowing society had it's roll for what happened to her. To all the rape victims.
Yes, rape. That big word that is most scary than death. Cause while the victim may still alive, society even the victim it self and the people who are suppose to love you unconditionally, raise a finger and point at you as the evil.
It is a hard limit for me to read about child abuse. So please understand it is hard for me to read about rape victims and how they fight every-day to live their life. And to write this review...
Salute for the author for talking about this super sensitive issuea and how delicate she sew her words in.
And in the end of this first book, of the evil that make Kat loose it.... My heart break all over. I can't wait to read the next book. To see if the evil will get punish. To see if the Prince charming will be her savior. Or will Kat save her self and slay her own evil

This is the first book I have read by Callie. She gained a fan. I must have the next one. I have to see what happens with Katherine. Katherine goes through something when she is a child. She overcomes it for the most part and goes through law school. She lands an internship and begins really living her life. But then she rans into Cole and that is when things change in her life. She is going after what she wants but what is it going to cost her in the end? I loved this storyline. Katherine is so strong stubborn and I want more from her. Her and Cole together are freaking hot. Cole is someone that you could easily fall for but is he playing Katherine or does he really want her? The ending had me wanting to throw my kindle across the room. What a book to start off 2019 with. I highly recommend this one and cant wait to see what happens with Katherine and Cole. Callie did an amazing job. This was gripping from beginning to end. Kept me with page turning events and wanting more.

Good gosh, I don't even know where to start. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, when I first started to read the first part of this duet. Indiscretion is a dark gritty, some -what slow burn. Indiscretion left me with a whirl wind of emotions. The fear I felt was palpable, it literally gave me goosies all over my body. I felt the need of redemption, to the marrow of my bones, but I also felt the loneliness of living in a world, that is so cruel. Indiscretion fits the depth of what this book is all about., so I applaud you Callie for choosing a title that goes along with this story.
Katherine is different than your average heroines. She grew up differently, and that has shaped her, to who she is today. She is strong and resilient. Worthy, but has no clue how valuable she really is. She is not out looking for a good time, but is looking for validation.
Cole is Mr. Good -time. He works hard, and plays harder. In a league all on his own, his time is valuable and he doesn't have much to spare. He is possessive, but not one to overstep. Valuable in more ways than one. And looks, to drive a woman mad.
I need to let it be known for why only 4.5 stars. That reason is because I think there should be a trigger warning, because some scenes are quite disturbing, and some readers may have a hard time with some of the subjects. Other than that, this book was amazing, and since Indiscretion left on a huge cliffhanger, I now am dying for Redemption. I need this book like I need my next breathe of air.

This wasn't the typical romance. It's raw, emotional, and intense. Kathrine Wolf's past is tragic. It's written in all its ugliness and not easy to read. But Kathrine is a survivor. Even though she carries scars, she's trying to better herself and doing well. That's until Cole Hunter comes in her life. He's the type of man that she wants to stay away from, and he makes her want to return to her old ways. However, Cole has set his sights on her. He's persistent and he always get what he wants.
Cole and Katherine are great characters. I enjoyed their scenes together. I loved back and forth banter. Though, after awhile I got more interested in what Kathrine is working on. Some things moved a bit slow. I wished it was more fast paced.
Indiscretion ends in a cliffhanger, and it's a good one. Definitely want to read the next one.

Kat has a dark past she’s been fighting her demons. She’s struggled . Fate ? Clandestine meetings? Whatever you want to call it drops Mr. tall dark and very sexy Cole in her path. These two have more in common and complications are one of them. I was devouring this you can’t stop . I love it What’s going happen and BOOM ... oh you didn’t ... yes epic love a good Cliffie! Book 2 my greedy hands are needy!!! Can’t wait for you!

This year (2019) has started off on the right foot. I have to say that Indiscretion is the 2nd book this year that has gotten 5 stars from me.
BTW: Cole is mine!
I loved everything about this story. The heroine was a strong-willed and independent woman who only wanted to strive in what she is studying to become. Aside from her living a pretty bad childhood, she has come a long way. And even though she still hasn't forgotten what has happened to her in the past and the things she did to cope with that, she has made a complete change in her life but because due to that, she hasn't been able to fall in love nor does she let anyone in in her life.
Cole is the most sought out billionaire. He is charming, sexy, a total alpha and a sweet talker. He also has tendencies to stalk but only Katherine (hehe). For some reason she's gotten under his skin and even though she constantly rejects him, he finds himself more intrigued and wanting this woman who is giving him such a hard time.
There's only one thing getting in the way of both of these hooking up and that's that they're both working on the same case but in opposite sides. I loved everything about this story. The heroine was a strong-willed and independent woman who only wanted to strive in what she is studying to become. Aside from her living a pretty bad childhood, she has come a long way. And even though she still hasn't forgotten what has happened to her in the past and the things she did to cope with that, she has made a complete change in her life but because due to that, she hasn't been able to fall in love nor does she let anyone in in her life.
Cole is the most sought out billionaire. He is charming, sexy, a total alpha and a sweet talker. He also has tendencies to stalk but only Katherine (hehe). For some reason she's gotten under his skin and even though she constantly rejects him, he finds himself more intrigued and wanting this woman who is giving him such a hard time.
There's only one thing getting in the way of both of these hooking up and that's that they're both working on the same case but in opposite sides. Callie Anderson is one of my 'must-read', 'sure thing' authors and to be offered the opportunity to read Indiscretion early was easily the best first thing of 2019.
Indiscretion is an all-consuming read. I was hooked early and thoroughly enjoyed the entire book. I knew going in it was Part 1 of a duet, BUT, I also know the 2nd part, Redemption, is due soon after this one, so no long wait for us impatient readers.
The story centers around Katherine and Cole who meet by chance one night at a party. While that may seem cliche, what they don't figure on is ever seeing one another again. Cole represents every temptation Katherine finds hard to resist, and she fights it, she really does, but ultimately the enticement proves too much.
Without giving too much away, let's say that their paths cross again putting them on opposite sides of the proverbial fence. Katherine and Cole come from polar opposite backgrounds and truly are at different points in their lives, however, fate seems to have her eyes set on putting these two together. Callie creates characters that the reader grows to care about, and while they are flawed (aren't we all?), you root for them, you want a happily ever after. And the one thing Callie also excels at is making the road paved with good intentions, bumpy..very bumpy.
One other ingredient central to this book is fantastic supporting characters. When I say that, I see SPIN-OFF, yes..SPIN-OFF(s), I get excited about the possibilities of reading about the others in the future too.
Memorable stories often come with pain from one's past and this book has that and more. The story does end in a cliffhanger, however, remember the next book is due on January 21.
Highly recommend this new series from Callie!!!

I'm so very MAD at Callie Anderson right now that I could scream, and I finished Indiscretion yesterday, and yet, the rage & sadness is still ever present. She sucked me into her newest story, make me fall in love with Kat, then left me hangin' off the side of the cliff, by a fingernail on a windy day with that ending. Yeah, I'm dramatic so #sorrynotsorry. See Kat had the kind of childhood that nightmares were made of, and it permanently scarred her, and she made mistakes because of it. It took her a while to clean up those mistakes, to fly straight, and get to the point she's at in her life. And all of her hard work is starting to pay off with a prestigious law school internship she's accepted into, but the night she's celebrating, she meets Cole, and her life will never be the same. He's super sexy, they have incredible chemistry, but she knows that they can't be together because he's the opposing counsel on the first case she's helping on at her internship. But that connection won't be denied, and it explodes, which leads to sexy times that light the sheets on fire, however, all kinds of drama follows. The cast of secondaries are all kinds of different types, and the jury is still out in regards to my views on them, and I can't tell you why right now. Because of twists that I didn't see coming, which had reactions that pissed me off, propelled me all the way to the cliffy ending, I go back & forth between rage & extreme sorrow as I could feel Kat's pain like it was my own. So I NEED NEED NEED that next book NOW NOW NOW! But in the meantime, for those who haven't read Indiscretion, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I'm at war with myself and with my rating. Argh! This was not a bad story per se but it’s just so stereotyped. The problem here was me because it's one of those stories I can’t read anymore. If I’d have known this before, I wouldn’t have picked it up and ordered the second one before I even started the first one.
I have no freaking idea what to think of this book because I was so intrigued by the prologue and very excited to read this story since I loved all the author’s previous releases. Sadly, after I found out in the first few chapters that this was one of those billionaire/stalker, cat and mouse game kind of romances where she acts coy and he’s the predator, I just lost my interest and contemplated giving up. But, I’m a stubborn reader and don’t like to dnf a book so easily, which meant that I gave the book another try.
I cringed way too much for my liking during this read, with all the lucky coincidences and fairytale feeling of Cinderella being swept off her feet by the rich guy who’s so charmed by her that he forgets anything and everyone else. *dramatic eye roll* It was all just too much of a cliché.
Cole was an egoistic stalker with no boundaries who didn’t accept no from anyone, and he also invaded Katherine’s personal space every time when they ‘randomly’ met. She was always turned on although she didn’t want to be and never had the guts to tell him off even though she lamely tried to get away from him all the time. Woman!! I was so frustrated that she couldn’t make up her mind!!
There was only physical attraction and I never felt that they developed any feelings for each other. But I noticed changes in him, though I wasn’t fond of that character change especially since I didn’t see any reasons for it. They didn’t know each other, only physically, so why was he so different with her?! What's so special about her that he did not act that way with other woman?!
Color me surprised that I found some things very entertaining despite my reservations toward this story. I’ve read so many similar stories like this already that I was a bit bored but some events (like the case she was working on) made it more interesting, which made it easier for me to finish this book.
I really need to mention that this book was very well written and it saddens me that I couldn’t give it a better rating. It was an overall okay read for me but I’m sure that you’ll love it if you’re into those types of books. It just wasn’t for me and I was disappointed that it wasn’t as emotional and unique with a lot of depth as the other books I’ve read from this author.

Well Callie Anderson did it again, tore my heart out in the first few pages. And slowly pieced it back together. Only to slay me again. Indiscretion was a storm of emotion and growth and I hung on every word.
Katherine: Strong-willed. Determined. Smart. Damaged. Savvy.
Cole: Demanding. Charming. Sweet-talker. Billionaire. Sexy.
Their first meeting hi-lighted Kat's sassy side and Cole's alpha tendencies. I liked that she shut Cole down, and so did he. Call it fate, kismet, divine intervention, whatever you want, but these two just couldn't seem to stop running into each other and Cole used it to his advantage. Well, as much as Kat would let him anyway.
Eventually these two gave into what their lust was telling them and holy smokes it was electric. But, as much as she wanted to, the traumas of Kat's past kept her from going all in and it caused more than a handful of issues for her and Cole. And Cole has his own skeletons that don't want to stay in the closet either. Cue the drama a la assumptions and miscommunication.
Just when I was thinking YES! That Kat and Cole were on the same page, her past came roaring back into her world and sent things spiraling out of control. I am really looking forward to Redemption which will conclude the story of Katherine and Cole. I like the story and it is definitely HOT but I am having a little trouble. With Katherine (who I very much like) I feel like I understand her and then she does something that simply doesn’t make sense to me. I get that she is battling this inner demon and is working through past trauma however she shows such strength and intelligence that at times I am just baffled by here decisions. There is also a lot going on between her past and the court case and then her semi- vigilante act and Cole and his own family drama and reputation plus their secret relationship. It’s a lot. It IS easy to follow and I can see that it is all building up to something but I do feel like it is a lot of story with a lot of different plots all running at the same time. Now Cole is one where I have no issues at all. I like the man A LOT and I can’t wait to see how he handles the next hurdle he faces with Katherine. I am holding all final judgements until I reach the end.

I need the next chapters! Katherine Wolf is a woman with many layers...Her story was raw numbing and painful. Indiscretion was written beautifully and sensitive. I have engaged with the story and read the whole book in one sitting. Katherine and Cole were right for each other.
Katherine is a strong woman.. a survivor.. I cant imagine the horror and feelings when it happened .. to pick up the pieces and moving forward. For Katherine today.. she is stronger because she wasnt a victim anymore..
Cole Rhodes is a man with everything and Katherine was all he want.
I had admired Cole's efforts to woo Katherine.. Its sexy.. fast pacing.. flirty..romantic... can every women have a Cole too?
Indiscretion wasnt just a simple romance. The story of a survivor who is looking for justice and validation.. come on come on! Looking forward for Redemption ❤

Indiscretion! What a fantabulous start to my 2019! This book is absolutely awesome. A true page turner and angst filled....i can not wait for Redemption(book 2,) i need it like yesterday.
Kat and Cole made an awesome read, they are two very interesting and real characters in their own way. Kat is trying to put her past behind her after having a horrible childhood, shes currently an intern at a law firm. Cole is a lawyer and he comes from old money, his family is very wealthy,but he works very hard to accomplish everything he has so far in life. When these two met it was instant chemistry. I loved both characters and the secondary characters were also well liked. I think Redemption is gonna heat up my kindle! Cant wait to read it!
