Sara:
I've been in love with my best friend, Graham, for six years. The only problem is, he doesn't know it.
I've done everything to live the life I've wanted for myself. Get out of the small town I grew up in, graduate college with an art degree, and become assistant to one of Dallas' most prominent artists.
But despite my small successes, I still feel an empty hole burning inside me. A desire for the one man who always manages to leave me breathless.
Maybe it was time to tell Graham how I felt.
But how could we live a happy life when a chance encounter from the past continues to haunt me, threatening to destroy everything?

Graham:
I've been in love with Sara for as long as I can remember. Regardless of my insatiable need to keep her close, I haven't been able to tell her.
Why? Because she deserves someone better, someone who could lay the world at her feet.
Instead, I'm a man filled with a life of regret and who can only promise her an unstable future.
But when an opportunity with the Dallas Museum of Art comes my way, I can’t help but wonder if this is it: The way to finally make her mine. A chance to tell her how I feel and show her the kind of man I could be. I'm just hoping that after six years of keeping my love a secret, there aren't others standing between us and the perfect life I've dreamed of.

This was my first book from Brittany, but it will DEFINITELY not be my last. I loved the relationship development between Graham and Sara. They were wonderful as friends, but they were meant to be soul mates! The feelings in this book are real and raw and passionate! I could feel something suspicious building in the background and had no idea how Brittany was going to run with it...but when it happened, it was like an explosion! At that point, I couldn't even put the book down, I had to read every last word to see how our characters emerged and if/how they reconciled. This book will definitely touch your heart!

This is my first Brittany Taylor's book, but not my last.
I loved this book. Graham and Sara are perfect for each other and the relationship developing between them is perfect and super HOT! This book was emotional, heartwarming and beautiful. It mixed Happiness, passion, cuteness, love, forgiveness and most of all amazing characters.
This is a must read if I could give it more than five stars I would.

Graham and Sara’s story was heart wrenching and beautiful. It was said at times and simply amazing at others. They have their secrets, their ups and downs and the people around them that cause unnecessary problems. Through it all their love and friendship get them through.

I absolutely adored their story.💜

I love Brittany's previous books but there's something about this book that is on an entirely different level. Graham and Sara are two artists who are written so perfectly that they legitimately feel like a work of art. They re in love with each other but refuse to risk telling one another which added all the angst. While there's an entertaining two person pov happening about making a go of their feelings, there's a darkness lurking in the background and when it pounces it's all nail biter, cliffhanger heaven complete with the perfect happily ever after. I loved this book and will definitely have it listed as a top favorite of the year ❤️

Back To Me is the third book I have read from Brittany Taylor. It is about Graham and Sara. Best friends and completely in love yet haven’t told the other. I fell hard for Cameron in her previous book and now equally for Graham. Brittany Taylor has a keen way of writing men. They are confident with big hearts and just enough alpha to make a perfectly imperfect package. I felt Graham’s vulnerability and I connected with him so easily. I liked Sara, knowing a little of her in the previous books. I couldn’t wait to see who was going to make the first move! It was beautiful torture! I thought I knew how the story would go but there were curveballs that I didn’t see coming. I love those kind of surprises! Overall a fantastic book!

A beautiful best friends to lovers romance. The relationships in this book are so well written it feels real. You feel the push and pull between the characters. It reminds me of my youth and the uncertainty you get when you don’t know where you stand.

You know there is a sinister storyline, but Taylor keeps you guessing...and flipping those pages.

1. Notes: This is an honest review in exchange of an Advanced Reader Copy given to me by the author, Brittany Taylor, via the Facebook group, Books/ARCS for Review <3.

2. Synopsis: Graham and Sara are two best friends and roommates that secretly love one another. While they battle their inner demons of maybe, finally confessing their true feelings, an outsider causes a threat to them. The love of art that Graham and Sara share only brings them closer together when Graham has an opportunity to showcase his work, however, with the threat reaching closer than ever, can Graham and Sara not only survive the opening night but also their love for another?

3. Review of Cover Design: This cover is everything! It 100% tells you exactly what you are going to read in the story of Graham and Sara. Their love, their angst, and their art are all so perfectly depicted in this cover.

4. Review of Hero: Graham, a thirty year old, artist lives with his best friend and the girl that stars in his dreams, Sara. He is your typical brooding artist type in regards of having a disfunctional relationship with his father, memories of a deceased mother, and a grandmother who had dementia. He was forced to take care of his younger sister and when he was able to, he moved to Dallas to finally conquer his own dreams, to be a true artist. Graham is sweet, funny, moody, and selfless. He is serious boyfriend material. The love he has for Sara and the words that he says to her will make any black heart melt into a puddle. While fighting inner demons of his own, he pushes and encourages Sara to be the best she can be. He truly believes he isn’t good enough for her and it pained me to see him like that because he saw himself so differently than Sara or the reader does. The one line that made me fall in love with Graham, and to be honest, the story, is “Even with my eyes closed, you’re the only woman I ever see.” Swoon! I give his character a 4.5/5 (because there were times I truly wanted to tell him to buck up and get your girl!)

5. Review of Heroine: Sara, an assistant to a local artist and an artist herself really surprised me. Her love for Graham and her artwork showed through her thoughts and actions throughout the story. Sara grew from timid to strong from the first chapter to the last. It was a pleasure to see her find her voice in not only her personal life but professionally as well. Sara also had my heart flutter with her words to Graham, “No, we haven’t. But I loved you even before I knew you.” I give Sara’s character a 4/5.

6. Review of Plot: ‘Back to Me’ is a perfect blend of love and angst. The author had found the balance between the two right away. The transformation of both characters from start to finish was written beautifully. Every problem had a solution by the end and the epilogue tied everything together by echoing some words and actions from previous chapters. The way Ms. Taylor woved in the art, not only in the description of the art pieces but a gown that Sara wore and the way Graham saw Sara was perfectly done. I’m not an art person, and the descriptions gave me great visual references. The angst of friends to lovers and then the silent threat of someone else wasn’t too much and all three characters worked well with each other. I would highly recommend this story and I can’t wait to dive into the other two books that are already published.

Brittany Taylor is a new author for me and through this book she has become one of my favorite. Back to me is the story of life long friends/ roommates Graham and Sara.
They have secretly loved each other for years. It has finally become to difficult to hide those feeling from each other and they erupt and take hold of both of them. Brittany Taylor does an excellent job of allowing the reader to feel everything the characters are feeling as the friendship changes into a relationship. The reader feels the passion and the depth of love the two have for each other . It is one of the rare books that evolves so smoothly you can’t help but be entranced and fall in love with them as a couple as well as individuals. Loved it and can’t wait to read everything she has written and will write.

This is my first book by this author. I will be reading other books by her. Sara and Graham are two artist in different mediums who have been living in the same apartment as best friends but never crossing the line. Graham gets a contract and has to do five paintings with Sara. There is a twist that plays into the situation and causes problems with the relationship and the showing.

Romance with a twist

This book is a friend to romance novel where we get to follow Graham and Sara and get both thier views on what is happening in thier lives. It was well written the only reason it's not a 5 start read for me is I felt the overreaction of characters was a little much in some spots but other then that it's a great book!

Loved Sarah and Grants journey to happiness. Wanted to smack a few people along the way, even them sometimes. There was their sweet times and sad times. I greatly disliked her boss and his....... just as I was meant to!! The ending made my heart smile.

I loved this story and the twists that happened in this book! Graham and Sara have a close relationship besides being roommates. Sara is Graham's sister best friend but its more then that. She helps open his eyes to the possibilities and could happen with his art. Sure they fight but they make up. Feelings that have been building up finally come out. Things are going good until they aren't. I was proud of Sara for standing up to her boss and the guys who tried desperately to hit on her. She stood her ground even when she was scared. They mesh really well together and create fantastically beautiful art. This book is focused on art but there's also some dirty play in this. Turns out there's a bit of suspense and crazy as well. It was nice to see both point of views from the characters and to see Graham heal from the past. He was able to open himself up and see a different side to his Dad. The book really has a way of drawing you in and not letting you go until the end.

Back to Me

Sara and Graham are both artists, roommates and best friends. They both secretly love the other, but both are too afraid that to admit their feelings and ruin their friendship. Sara is also best friends with Graham's sister. Graham is offered an opportunity to do a show at a prestigious Dallas Museum. He is told to do some pieces with Sara, but the person offering this has their own agenda in doing this. This is a friends to lovers story, with a lot of intrigue and stalking thrown in. The story is told in dual POV. Will their love for each other be able to overcome all of the heartache and road blocks put in their way? Will Graham come to terms with his feeling of betrayal from his dad? Sara and Graham were very well written, and you felt what they were feeling. I will ready more of Brittany Taylor's work.

I found this to be a good, quick romance read. I liked the writing style and how easy it was to get into. I did struggle with Graham, because his anger issues were frustrating and nearly abusive, and I felt he should be in therapy, not depending on a woman to calm him down. Some of the arguments were based on what seemed like overreactions, and the characters seemed less mature than their age would lead you to believe. As someone who has been sexually assaulted, I didn’t expect any of that content in the book and found it somewhat triggering and I had to put it down and walk away a few times.

Overall, I liked the story and would recommend. I do think it is Brittany’s best book yet, and I’m excited to read more!

Love in Dallas

If you like strong alpha type men (like I do) this is not for you. Graham is an artist and sorta whimsy. He’s been in love with his roommate for 6 years but is scared to tell her. If you like kick butt strong women (which I do) Sara is not that. She is also an artist working at a job she hates and has been in love with her roommate, Graham, for 6 years but is scared to tell him. Meanwhile a bad man, Julian, tries to rape Sara after she refuses his advances and said bad man is the art curator at a museum and he hires Graham to paint and set up an exhibit. It’s gets pretty exciting the last 30 pages. I just couldn’t get into this book. It took me 5 days to read and I finished 6 books while trying to get through this one.

I love this genre of friends who have secretly been in love with each other for years. Both Graham and Sara have been in this situation for years and neither is aware of the other’s feeling through the years. Both are afraid to jeopardize their friendship.
As the two are placed closely together through work they feel this may be the best opportunity to express their feelings in the slow build kind of way. But forces out of their control are going to make that challenging.
Such a great read. Loved the original aspects to this story telling. Great dual POV and amazing conclusion. I was able to receive a copy of this book for my honest opinion that I am volunteering to leave.

Sara and Graham had been best friends and roommates for years.
Sara woks in an art gallery and Graham is a inspiring artist, who is offered a chance at his own art show, featuring his own pieces. Graham is so happy that Sara was offered to do a collaboration with him.
Both are secretly in love with each other, but are afraid to admit it to each other.
One night they finally admit their love for each other and then everything seems to be going well.
Will their love last or will a stalker ruin everything they have together.

Back to Me is a sweet story. Graham and Sara have secretly loved each other without the other knowing for years. They finally have the opportunity to make things right between them but there’s something in the way. There’s mystery and a little drama that surrounds this couple. Overall, their story is worth reading. Back to Me has everything I look for in a book, great characters, a good story line and an Epilogue worth waiting for. I’m ready to go back and read the previous books in this series.
