Frankie Love writes filthy-sweet stories about bad boys and mountain men. As a thirty-something mom to six who is ridiculously in love with her own bearded hottie, she believes in love-at-first-sight and happily-ever-afters. She also believes in the power of a quickie.
❤️ Get ready to fall in love ... you deserve it! ❤️
Not much to say about this book it's short, dirty and fun. All you expect from the title.
Dolly is looking for love in all the wrong places that is until Dune makes his intentions clear and she sees what has been in front of her the entire time. But have their revelations to each other come too late? Or Will they get a second chance at love?

Resolution: Baby Batter by Frankie Love I really enjoyed reading this story, quick but still a lovely story. Dolly owns a bakery that the cop Dune loves getting his donuts from and it isn't because of the sweets. Dune knows dolly's in a relationship but waking up he was thinking he will finally tell her how he feels. Dolly woke up feeling great but having a conversation with her boyfriend leaves her single and feeling unwanted. In a quick sec, Dune gets the courage and pours his heart out to her and these two moves on happily. I really enjoyed the quick story, I'm happy they found love in each other. Sweet story
Not as good as the first one I read, but still a fun, quick read. This one had a couple of typos and was a bit more 'cheesy'. There is still a lot of quirky humor and the adult sex scene was definitely 'down & dirty'. 😊 I admit it made me laugh out loud more than once.
I took off points for the typos. No excuse for them in something so short.
Loved the characters. Decent flow. HEA and Steam inside this Creamy Filled Donut! 🍰🎂🍨🍮 Lmbo.
Plot: Dolly wants nothing more than to get married and have a baby, but her boyfriend is not on board with that. That's okay; Dune is. He's a cop who visits Dolly's bakery often, and he's more than willing to offer himself up.
Commentary: Super cheesy - like, cheesier than this author's books normally are. I think it's just that the expression "baby batter" always grosses me out. So, not my favorite.
This was just what I needed! Fresh off a different, more serious, emotional Frankie book, this book was fresh and fun and bubbly. This is her more cheeky writing, with the yummy puns and dirty donut holes and all that yummy filling in the pages. It was short and definitely sweet. Just a good bedtime snack, a treat I devoured in one sitting.
don't ya wish life could b as easy as a Frankie Love read? I just love Frankie's style ... sweet, easy and fun times. the character is down and out and bing bot o boom she has you to an HEA ending. lots of steam. rarely more than 3 characters ... all about those 2 main characters. usually. great read. i just like it ... no mess no fuss ... and that is totally a-okay!! check it out. a real bakers dozen, cream is there, custard too. lol!! baker humor. check it out!
A very short but steamy and cheesy and sweet novella. Adorable epilogue and loving hero and heroine! No virgins here, heroine's boyfriend is mentioned he broke up with her because she wanted a family.
I didn’t have high hopes for this book based on the title and the premise, but against my better judgement, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I really wished I hadn’t. It is really cheesy and is full of baking puns. The term ‘baby batter’ is overused. Once was too much but when we were up to about the fifth time, I was growling at the book. Luckily, the book is really short. However, this both goes for and against it. It feels very rushed as it is only 37 pages long, but because it isn’t very good, you are glad it is only 37 pages long. I have read better books that are this length where the author makes the most of the space that they have and makes it feel like a full-blown story. This just felt very unreal and nonsensical. There wasn’t anything majorly wrong with it, it, for me, was just cliched and corny. I rolled my eyes more than once. I’ve just looked back over Frankie Love’s books that I have read that have been part of the Flirt Club collaborations, and I haven’t given any of them more than three stars. I’m not sure whey I have persevered for so long, but I have decided not to read the last two of hers that I had left to read as I am obviously not getting her style of writing and not enjoying them.

I originally read this right when it was released, I had forgotten just how fun it was to read. I'm it's time for a reread of Frankie Love's Flirt Club contributions!
A fun and completely safe short story with no cheating or abuse. No ow/om drama...no drama at all. Just a fast instalove with a very Happily Ever After that includes lots of donuts and....and baby batter!
2.5 stars for this one. I likenthis author a lot, however, this book was annoying due to all of the puns. It is already a short read, however, the nonstop puns make it feel a little juvenile and sarcastic. It was a super quick read with insta love, sugar & spice.
Has anyone seen my ovaries around here, by any chance? They seem to have run off on their own. Not too surprising, though, since a romantic hero insisting on (consensually) getting his respective heroine pregnant is like a stranger pulling up in a white van and revealing a whole candy store inside.
I mean, sure, okay, there were a number of sigh-worthy doughnut/food puns to put up with along the way, but it wouldn't be an over-the-top novella full of cheesy goodness without them. And sure, some of the spelling errors and missing words were starting to grate on my nerves a bit — seriously, proofreading is your absolute best friend, Ms. Love. Also, the terribly-convenient robbery plot point came TF out of left field, and was resolved just as quickly as it had cropped up.
Wait, where was I going with this? Oh, yeah.
So, the good news: Dune and Dolly were very sweet together, even if they hadn't known each other for very long (not quite insta-love, but still over-the-top and fast-paced). And as stated above, Dune offering to put a bun in Dolly's oven was catnip to me and my ovaries. I mean, it was pretty cool of him to at least attempt to give Dolly a bit of time to think over whether she wanted to be with him after her breakup, even if that time was cut short by external circumstances. And hey, even if she hadn't chosen to be with him, he still offered to be her baby daddy, partially to make her happy and partially because he himself was wanting to be a father. Bonus: their one love scene was pretty steamy, focused on both Dolly's pleasure and some good ol' fashioned baby-making.
Overall Verdict: 8, erm, doughnuts out of 10 ;)
P.S. I get that Dune and Dolly have such a voracious appetite for each other, but seriously?!
Dolly owns the Donut shop. Dune recently moved to town & is a local police officer with a mad crush on Dolly. It's New Years Day & he's decided he's going to tell her how he feels about her but there's one obstacle - Dolly has a jerk of a boyfriend. Oddly enough, Dolly tells Dune that her boyfriend broke up with her because of her New Years resolution to ask for what she wants - marriage & a family. After Dune shares his news & an attempted robbery that he stops, Dune & Dolly can start the New Year off together. Insta-love, insta-lust, super sweet & sexy read. Their cheeky comments & bakery puns had me smiling.
A Resolution Pact Short Story - These are a collaboration of authors bringing us short, sweet, sexy stories to give us Oooh's and Ahh's that make our hearts & panties melt in celebration of the New Year. I'm in love with these short story collaborations & am excited each time a new set is released.
Resolution baby batter is a short story that is a part of the resolution pact novella series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. I did see some chemistry between Dolly and Dune. I liked them as a couple. As this story is so short, I was left wanting more of Dolly and Dune as a couple. I liked that even though Dolly had a boyfriend, Dune was determined to make confess his feelings for her. When Dolly becomes single, Dune knows its time to make his move. He wants a relationship with Dolly. As soon as Dune saw/met Dolly, it was love at first sight. When he learnt that Dolly wanted a baby, it was the icing on the cake for Dune. The epilogue/year later part of the story was super cute. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read. I cannot wait to read more books from the resolution series and from Frankie Love.
The story of Dune and Dolly. This is another short that I wish were much longer. Our h is a baker and our Hero a cop with a sweet tooth. Dolly's heart was crushed when she wanted a baby with her boyfriend, he left her heartbroken, but Dune swoops in to claim her heart, body and soul. I did enjoy these two, and I wish I could connect with them more! 3 and 1/2 stars. It would have been a 4 if Dolly didn't propose to her ex and want his baby, after meeting the H. It was insta love for Dune, but not Dolly. Also, Dune comparing Dolly to others while they have sex is a turn off, 'tighest pussy he's ever been in', kind of comment is not necessary. I don't want to be reminded of other women, when it is supposed to be an erotic, romantic moment between our two main characters. Will not read again.
Dune only wants one thing this girl who makes delicious donuts. He stops at her shop everyday and its a new year so he’s going to let her know how he feels even though she has a boyfriend he doesn’t care he needs to get it off his chest. Dolly isn’t like the rest of her friends she’s ready to settle down get married and have a baby, so when she finally tells her boyfriend that she wanted to make this year hers and have a baby and marriage he wasn’t in to that so they broke up. Heartbroken Dolly goes and bakes it makes her feel better and she spots Dune at the front door. Will these two make the new year theirs and make something sweeter then donuts or will they get their donuts burnt? This was a good story all the donut puns are a little too much lol but it was a great short read.
Short & Sweet, quite funny/cheesy but lovely 🩷 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩 This cheered me up, Thanks😉🙃🙂
😳😯 I can’t believe he said THAT: “You want a baby?” He smiles. “Well, I got some batter.”… OMG😈 Half the dirty talk is Hot🔥, the other half is just too damn funny🤣🤣🤣

Loved this short story Dune knows what and who he wants and how he is going to start his new year. Dolly owns the doughnut shop and has always wanted to get married and have a baby but when she told her boyfriend this he called things off. Dolly let’s Dune into her store but doesn’t expect the surprise she got Dune tells her how he feels he wants to be the daddy to her children and the husband who will cherish and love forever. Dolly is left on her own to think things over as Dune has to go to work but she is held up at gunpoint and the one to save her is Dune and she k owns what she wants in her life Dune
I really liked this story. The cliche of police officer's loving donuts is turned into a Police officer loving the baker that makes the donuts! Dune is a cop and Dolly is the owner of his favorite donut shop. Dune and Dolly talk about what she wants for her future and what he wants for his future. Dotty wants to get married and have a family, which prompted her boyfriend to break up with her. Dune tells her that he wants those things too, but only with her. He tells her that she can have his baby batter cause he would love to put a bun in her oven and so much more! He’ll be her baby daddy and her dream come true.
This story is super cute and sweet. I recommend reading this book.
Dune is a man who knows what he wants and at the start of a new year, he plans on getting it. Dune is a cop who has fallen hard for Dolly, a donut shop owner. The fact that she has a useless boyfriend won't stop Dune. He plans on letting her know how he feels.
Dune and Dolly are two people looking for love. By taking a chance and going after what they want, they realize they may have found their happily ever after in each other.
I really liked this story. It's a quick escape for someone who wants to read a sweet romance with a dose of sexy fun.
Dolly is a woman who just wants what most woman want, to be married and have a child. She already runs a successful bakery and now she wants to work on her personal life. Seeing as her deadbeat boyfriend isn't going to help she is shocked to find interest in the hot cop who visits her.
Dune has been interested in Dolly since he first laid eyes on her. His New Years resolution is to tell her how he feels.
This book was cute in it own way but I just couldn't get over the baking references during sexy times.
Dune and Dolly are over the top cute. This is a sweet, quick read that will give you cavities just reading it. Dune knows what he wants and is going after it. Dolly fresh off a break up with a man that didn't appreciate her, decides that it's time for her wants to matter. Perfect novella to start your new year right.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
