Xavi Jacobs lead singer of Berlin Scandal, talented, successful, troubled and broken is a publicity nightmare. Battling demons not even he can define, he’s on a downward spiral to destruction.
The last thing he thinks he needs is a babysitter in the form of security detail Blaine Mannford. Neither are pleased to be forced into each other’s orbit, but it becomes quickly apparent that Xavi is far more then troubled; he’s genuinely confused. Blaine recognises the signs and the underlying cravings that Xavi has yet to accept and feels a desperate urge to rescue him.

Hurt Me was an awesomely wicked read. When reading any of these novellas from the KKinky world you’re guaranteed a hot read. But this by far has been my favourite. Not only did Blaine and Xavi burn up the pages with their journey of discovery, it showcased the struggles one could face coming out as well as the magnitude of grief when it’s not dealt with. Loved it!

This was super disappointing because both of these authors write super hot sex scenes and since this series is all about kinkiness I expected so much more than what I got. I seriously need to lower or just stop having expectations. How do I do that though? 😩
Blaine is supposed to be this hard ass cop who whips his boys into shape using discipline while Xavi is part of a band that just had a tragedy happen a year ago that has left him drowning in angst. Xavi is constantly acting out and causing drama and since Blaine and him have some kind of draw to each other, the band manager makes them go to a cabin for a few weeks to work things out.
I expected the cabin part to be hot and while there were some spankings it was just a bit vanilla for what this book blurb suggests and I wasn’t feeling it. I loved the broody, angst filled rock star part and I’d love to see this expanded as a full length book because I think it could be really good if executed properly but as it is, its just not for me.

I wanted Blaine and I GOT BLAINE.
That man is all kinds of discipline smexy Alpha AF male and I seriously wouldn’t mind calling that man Daddy if he swung my way. (Sorry, Ronan). Talk about a man comfortable in his own skin and in total control ~ even when it looks like he might lose it, he does and it’s….
And then there’s Xavi. They always say, never judge a book by it’s cover, and boy does it apply here. I hurt for him. I wanted to Gibbs smack him. I wanted to hug him and in the end? Well, I kinda loved him almost as much as Blaine.
Their journey is a quick one and for all the smexy going on, it’s also an emotional one that pulls at those heart strings even as your panties are melting...a somewhat strange combination, but it totally worked for me.
So, if you’re looking for a quicky, smexy as hell MM read then this one is for you!

Xavi is not like this. he think and keep repeating "i'm not gay" but this situation is different. this one has been well connected with his past, you saying like "oh god i got it babe im so sorry". I like that.
Blaine is in charge. He knows his place, he is not pushing or forcing. the opening scene (with a OM before they met) was smth. i just giggle and was like "omg delicious". possessive kinky fatherfucker.
No role-play. safe bdsm. Age-gap. MM romance with a confused and troubled young man-rock god & a dominant and firm cop with daddy vibe. dont get wrong with "fight and punish game", book is not dark.

This was an awesome M/M story with a little bit of “Daddy” thrown in for good measure. Xavier Jacobs is the lead singer of Berlin Scandal, the successful group discovered by Ren Hayes (Choke Me) the talent scout for Harose Records. Ronan Hayes (Daddy Me) is the President of the record company and he’s losing patience with Xavi’s OTT, headline making, antics. Xavi lost his best friend to heroin and he’s filled with so much self-hate it’s eating him alive.
Ronan is fed up with Xavi so he enlists his best friend, Detective Blaine Mannford as his personal babysitter. Blaine is determined to find out what is causing Xavi’s reckless behavior. Xavi doesn’t need a babysitter, especially one he can’t stop thinking about. Xavi is confused and angry so Blaine decides to take him away to his cabin in the middle of nowhere.
Ronan is fed up with Xavi so he enlists his best friend, Detective Blaine Mannford as his personal babysitter. Blaine is determined to find out what is causing Xavi’s reckless behavior. Xavi doesn’t need a babysitter, especially one he can’t stop thinking about. Xavi is confused and angry so Blaine decides to take him away to his cabin in the middle of nowhere.

You get the best of both worlds with this one. Hurt Me is not only sexy AF, but it’s also passionate and emotional and powerful. These ladies can deliver on the sexy , we all know that but when they mix in an emotional ride that grabs your heart and doesn’t let go, they become a powerhouse writing duo! I really wanted this story to continue . Xavi was the best kind of tortured character and Blaine was just the perfect match for him. There is depth in this short story that you do not normally see in kinky reads and oh the layers! I mean daaaaayum , I love this world these ladies have created and keep expanding on. I was afraid to read this book as this duet of authors usually goes for the hardcore, too dark for my taste, but with the reading I was in for a big surprise.
Xavi is a teenager who has been hit by fame along with a great loss and he hasn't known how to handle either of them. Add to that the guilt and his doubts about his sexuality and you have a boy on the verge of exploding, not knowing which way to turn.

I like books that transmit me the emotions of their protagonist and I could feel the ones Xavi was experiencing. Guilt, pain, fear of rejection and great insecurity.
Blaine did not have it easy. He had to pick up the pieces of Xavi and put him back together by giving him what he needed most even though he didn't know what he wanted.
It was a hard journey towards healing, salvation, self-discovery, acceptance and finding love.
Xavi is a teenager who has been hit by fame along with a great loss and he hasn't known how to handle either of them. Add to that the guilt and his doubts about his sexuality and you have a boy on the verge of exploding, not knowing which way to turn.

I loved this short read! Blaine and Xavi were hot hot hot and their connection was undeniable! Glad I decided to pick this one up!

Its been awhile since i read a M/M book and this one was pretty short and fast pace and finding out your sexual identity.
Now we have met these two in pervious books and my heart went out to Xavi.. he is in a fucked up place after losing his best friend and maybe lover (confused still about his needs) and it went down and up hill being apart of a famous band groupies and drugs.. and he is kinda sexually confused he hurts himself to feel the guilt.. then enters Blaine growly hardass cop also a dom/daddy dom but more (dom no daddy was used at all) who is there to set him straight. Xavi had some demons and lotssss of confusion about what he wants plus he acts out and causes drama because of it and Ren ask Blaine to help him out since Xavi is losing control they are both headstrong when meeting but Blaine knows what Xavi wants or needs... now he has to see if he wants to accept that. As they head up to a cabin in the woods.
My only problem with this beside the op sex mentioned none was shown..is Blaine always calling Xavi boy... like it was annoying... but beside that this was an okay read for me..
The next book is called Play me.. and might be a rape kink fantasy type of read with Joshua owner of a club. But i could be wrong if thats what Play me is about.
No real ow/om drama, but Op sex (Blaine fucks someone in the prologue & Xavi and groupies mentioned not shown),drama, secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins (unless you count Xavi first time with a guy)

The books in the KKinky Reads Collection keep getting better and better. Hurt Me , the fifth book, is a hot, kinky, MM insta-love novella which I totally loved.
Lead singer to the famous rock band, Xavi was drowning in guilt, confusion and self-loathe. To blank out all the chaotic emotions in his head, he purposely harmed himself because he craved the pain. Blaine was a hardass detective who knew Xavi was trouble but there was an invisible pull that made him reach out to help him. Turn out, Blaine was exactly what Xavi never knew he needed.
I never doubt the author duo’s ability to deliver kindle-melting steamy scenes and realistic well-thought out plots. I was astonished by the writing duo’s talent in putting so much feels within the limited pages. I really felt Xavi’s despair and struggle because of the guilt, confusion and burden that he was carrying in his head. This story was short but packed meat.
I absolutely enjoy this kinky, steamy quick read and I’m looking forward to the next great read from the collection.

I am in love with these KKinky series by Ker and K. I don't read a lot of MM romances, but I had to because well hello! Ker and K! I am so happy I did. This book is freaking awesome.
Blaine Mannford is an older man who is already into his own and knows what he wants in life, Blaine is not afraid that he is gay and doesn't take crap from anyone. But when he meets Xavi Jacobs, the lead singer of Berlin Scandal he knows that he wants to whip Xavi into shape.
Xavi has some issues when it comes to his self-esteem. He feels he should be one way, for everyone but himself. Feeling this way has turned him into a jerk. Blaine is just the person that will turn Xavi into the man he should be.

WOWZER, what a way to start my morning!! This story follows Xavi and Blaine two characters that have lusted after each other but denied giving into their desires. This is a male-male romance, partially about understanding sexuality, giving in and accepting your likes and kinks, and finding out who you truly are. Xavi is the hot lead singer of an alternative band but he has demons that are haunting him. Blaine is the best friend to the record label's CEO and makes the suggestion that he helps Xavi get his mind straight. This story is super sexy, alpha male, dominating, and sweet in a unique way. This story may not be for everyone but I really enjoyed it.

Holy good god. This book was on fire!
Hot, steamy and so amazing. Intoxicating and on fire!
Xavi and Blaine are raunchy, foul mouthed and hot as hell.

These books are short and hot as hell but everyone gets better and better. There is something about MM books that get you hot under the collar. No matter the storyline they are always hot and make you bite your lip.
Everything about this story is sweet, caring, hot and perfect in everyway.
Blaine is demanding and controling and I love that. Xavi is troubled and confused but with Blaine's help he shines as bright as his music.
A epic romance of finding love no matter who you are and no matter who you love. Another great read by these amazing authors.

Whew! I'm going to be completely honest here, I don't like reading novellas all that much, but this title, right. With a title like Hurt Me by a couple of my favorite authors... Yeah, hook, line, sinker, baby. I loved that this was M/M as well. Insecure rockstar meets dominant detective. Cue fireworks!! This was really short but hit the make on steam and the author's perfected the connection within a few short chapters. I'm impressed and turned on.

Just as kinky as the others in this series. This one is different than the others but just as good. This one is about a Rockstar who is having a hard time dealing with somethings that have happened and are happening in his life. His body guard wants to help but in more ways than one. This was a unique twist for me. I don't normally enjoy m/m books. But this one was very interesting and intense. I absolutely loved these two writing together and cannot wait until more come out from this series. Another great addition to the series.
