You'll want the books planned for her daring series, August Company Rockstars out now, and Fake Date With, coming in 2025.

When Serena's not writing, she's a wannabe foodie enjoying new recipes and old favorites. Some of them end up in her stories too!
I am voluntarily leaving this review. This was such a great teaser and preview of what is to come with Serena’s new series August Company Rockstars. I am a sucker for a good Rockstar book and this one did not disappoint.
In this quick read, you will get a glimpse into the new and upcoming band August Company. You get to feel a mini rollercoaster of emotions with this flirty and steamy book. Charlotte “Charlie” feels undeserving to the flirting that is happening between her and lead singer Evan, she is just a personal assistant to his new PR company after all. But what will a little flirting hurt for just one night?
We all have been there and told ourselves “It’s just one night” but how many times have that actually been true? I can’t wait to see Charlie and Evan’s bumps in the road and how they handle the obstacles they have to take to get their HEA.
“Charlie has me right where she wants me-if completely besotted is where she wants me.”
Oh my god, what a tease! I feel like I got one taste of a delicious meal and had it taken away from me. I want more. Now. I love rockstar romances and this is a great prequel to what I’m sure will be fantastic book. Evan is a hot rockstar who’s nothing like his public image and Charlie is a sweet, regular girl. They have instant chemistry and a great connection. For there to be a full size book coming, I’m sure there will be plenty of complications or drama ahead. I can’t wait to see what happens next. All I can say is, Hurry!.

A tease of what's coming This was quite the introduction between Charlie and Evan. Just enough to know that they're both in for way more than just one night. Fun and flirty with enough banter and tension to have me waiting for the continuation of what's coming. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and even though it’s a short story a prequel I can’t wait to read what’s next in this series and this is Charlie’s and Evan’s story, their chemistry is exciting and scorching 🔥 so what will one night hurt or will they both want more?. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.
This is full of anticipation and decisions that could cause untold consequences. Great start to what looks to be a great rockstar series and a heap if bad boss drama added in.

I need more than one night!! This book is a great set up to a series with the rock band August Company. In this we get Ethan, who is the lead singer, who has his eyes fixated on their new publicist’s assistant, Charlie. You can just feel the energy coming off from these two. They know its wrong but just for that one night, what could it hurt.
I’m really looking forward for more of this author’s rock stars. This is the start of something really good.
PR personal assistant Charlie knows she shouldn't, but how can she resist Evan? August Company's hot lead singer Evan spies Charlie across the room and can't take his eyes off her. "Only tonight could ever be like this." Will the fantasy surpass the reality?
This is one steamy prequel to Serena James Chase's newest series, August Company Rockstars.

When a publicist's assistant and her rockstar client fall for each other, how steamy can it get?
Only Tonight by Serena James Chase is the prequel novella in the August Company Rockstars Series and was edging on that forbidden love. Charlie, a publicist’s personal assistant has a new client, a British band called August Company. The lead singer of the group is Evan and he has a reputation of being the bad boy who’s always dating and sleeping with women. What happens when he finally has the freedom to choose who he wants to be with and he meets Charlie? Both are instantly intoxicated with each other but can’t allow it to progress. What do you do when you’re overwhelmingly attracted to someone who you can’t be with?
There was lot’s to enjoy and get excited about for the upcoming series, all from this teaser! I liked that it was an erotic novella but didn’t only focus on the sex. There was a balance of sex and story beautifully intertwined, like a woven quilt. The character development was starting out beautifully. The fact that they knew it was wrong but it felt so right, got me so interested to see where things will go moving forward. Although it was short, lots of exposition was packed in and set things up nicely!
This was a good start to a series. I'm ready to see what’s happening after tonight! With that, there were just a few things I noticed within the story that could make it even better. First, there were minor grammatical errors, such as spelling. Additionally, there was a bit of inconsistency in the chapters’ time jumps. In the beginning time was moving forward and then in chapter 2, the chapter changed and we went back in time. Of course, it caught back up, but then just moved forward the rest of the time. To prevent confusion, maybe the second chapter could align with the rest.
This is for adults who are into rockstar romance as well as that forbidden love scenario.
As this novella is a prequel, I’m eagerly waiting for the first full novel in the series!
*This was an honest review for a complimentary copy of Only Tonight from Serena James Chase via Hidden Gems
This novella/prequel is essentially 7,000 words about a flirtation. Charlie is a put-upon personal assistant, working for a PR maven charged with improving the image of a rock band. She is physically attracted to the lead singer, Evan. Evan returns the attraction, however, there doesn't seem to be much more than the physical between them.
Charlie and Evan haven't spent any significant time together or really gotten to know each other, and yet Charlie considers putting her job at risk by starting a physical relationship with Evan. I didn't really get a good sense of who Evan was, there just wasn't enough meat to the story to really understand why he wants to pursue Charlie.
Most of the story revolves around Charlie's fantasies about Evan and one brief night spent together at a bar.
There just wasn't enough of a story here to really become invested in the characters. With that said, the writing is crisp and well done.
Three stars for this rockstar romance prequel.
This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.
This is a prequal to a series and my word, I cannot wait to read more! Ethan is the lead singer and band’s front man for a rock band, and he is attracted to their sweet new publicist assistant, and Charlie can see through his persona. The chemistry between these two is intense. This is a well written quick read, which is entertaining and steamy. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via StoryOrigin and am voluntarily leaving a review.
H/h: Evan and Charlie POV: 1st person Genre: Rockstar Romance (prequel) Standalone?: N Heat level: Hawt Cliffhanger: Sort of, it’s a prequel HEA/HFN: Y Triggers: language, explicit sensual content Tropes: Rockstar, Forbidden Romance There wasn’t much to this book. It’s short, and meant to set up the upcoming romance between the Hero and heroine. There’s definite chemistry between them, and is the focus of the story. I would be interested in reading the next book in the series. I received an advance review copy for free and am voluntarily leaving this review.
Panting between slow, heavy kisses, I mumble, "It's worth it." "You're worth it," he whispers back against my lips.
Wow. The chemistry between Charlie and Evan is insane. I really enjoyed reading this little tiny novella! It was full of flirtation and steam. It makes you wonder what the next book in the series is going to be like. I'm looking forward to it!
I recommend this book. I received a free copy of this novella in exchange for a review.
Beginnings all in seduction It's a good start to the romance, with the slow seduction between Charlie, an assistant who works in public relations, and Evan, a rock star who is attracted to Charlie but with whom he will work. The story is good, kinda cute then hotter, but also short before the cut for the second book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This book is a prequel of a very good and interesting book! Charlie is the girl next door and Evan is a rock star. See - completely different worlds! Yet, somehow, they both feel the chemistry between them. Not to give too much away, but this is going to be an interesting ride, so hold on!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was given a free copy of this book by Voracious Readers in exchange for a honest book review. Thank you for a copy of the book!
A great little prequel for what I’m sure will be a great read! The little snippet has left me excited to see what comes next between Charlie and Evans! Short but sweet!
This was a story, it’s barely a chapter but l loved it. I loved the sexy flirting of Charlotte (Charlie) and Evan. These two were hot without touching and I wanted more. I need the full enchilada, and when I’m done with book one I’m going to need the rest of the guys in the band. This is definitely a five star read that needs high recommendation.
This was Evan & Charlie’s book. She really gets lucky when the band’s frontman, rockstar Evan Parker, offers her a ride home in his limo. They live miles apart. Their lives are completely different. He's a star and she's a nobody in the music business, but it’s only one kiss and it's only tonight. It was an intriguing read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
This prequel is a quick read with the feels and excitement of what's to come. You feel Charlie and Evan's chemistry from the start. Can't wait for more of this American personal assistant and British rockstar!!!
A quick preview of what's in store for Charlie and Evan. She's the girl next door and he's the bad boy rockstar. It was a nice teaser. I was given a free copy of this book from Hidden Arcs and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
