Victor Bayne's job as a PsyCop involves tracking down dead people and getting them to spill their guts about their final moments. It's never been fun, per se. But it's not usually this annoying.
Vic has just moved in with his boyfriend Jacob, he can't figure out where anything's packed, and his co-worker is pressuring him to have a housewarming party.

I really enjoyed the fourth story in the Psy Cop series. When Vic browses the internet, he realizes his name, the name of the psych training institute where he was institutionalized (Camp Heliotrope), and the names of others he knew there cannot be found. Jacob is asked to help solve an unusual sexual assault case. Vic is starting to learn more about his abilities. And everyone has secrets… even Jacob.
Secrets is another fun story that introduces new characters and revisits old ones. Lisa Gutierrez, Vic’s second partner, is back and coming to terms with her psychic abilities. Crash, Jacob’s ex, knows about Jacob’s case and Vic reveals his jealous side. As always, Jacob can’t get enough of Vic.

So apparently, Jacob looks at Vic with “Goo Goo” eyes! 😂 (Well, at least according to Carroline .. LOL 🤣) Anyhow, what an enticing, delicious addition to our beloved PsyCop series! 💙 I loved loved loved every second listening this fabulous book. 😍 You know there’s going to some struggles between Vic and Jacob just from looking at the title. They just bought a cannery turned loft together in the last book and now they are officially moving into a home that they co-own. And I’m surprised that after all these times, Vic’s colleagues at work still don’t seem to know him because they are demanding him to do a housewarming party. 😂 Lol, can you imagine Vic hosting a housewarming party to both his and Jacob’s co-workers? 😁 And while Vic doesn’t give a shit about people finding out he’s queer, nobody at work except his sergeant and his partner know he’s gay. And more over, nobody from both their precincts knows that these two detectives are dating. 😁 And if they finally find out, Vic’s sure they are going to make spectacularly scandalous news! 😏 And to top his misery, Jacob seems to be tired and stressed all the time from his recent case of an elderly woman mysteriously getting raped and being quite distant from him. And boxes! 😱 Vic doesn’t know how to unpack and arrange everything from both the boxes of his and Jacob’s! Not a clue guys! Not a clue! 😂👏 And not only that, while trying to find out the contact information of an old flame, he found out that there’s no info whatsoever on the internet regarding to him, the camp hell or anyone he could remember from there. 😳 Now, Vic’s sure Jacob knows something about it and is actually hiding things from him. But soon, he found out that Jacob is hiding much more than that and Vic found out he does have an ugly, jealous, obsessive side that’s even unknown to him. 😁
First of all, can I just say that I can’t get enough of these two men? 😱 Seriously, I just want to read a book of them going on a vacation and spending their days rolling around in bed. 😁 I’m sure anyone who looks at me while listening that book will see me smiling with “Goo Goo” eyes too. 😍😂 And I actually loved the mystery element of this book more than the last one. It was interesting, unexpected and scary. We are used to seeing Jacob always giving Vic a chase and the poor guy has to do it all the time since Vic can be distant, inarticulate and shy. So it was a delight to see Vic going all caveman over Jacob when he thought Jacob is dipping Crash aka his ex’s arse. 😂👏 It was funny and unexpected yet endearing and sweet. 💜 And OMG! That make-up kiss was everything! 😍 We see a lot of new personalities from these two in this book. And yes, another surprise, *whispers conspiratorially* Vic just found out he has a bit of an exhibitionism. 😉 Also apparently, Vic and Jacob love mauling each other in their work stations. 😁 And yes, I absolutely loooove it! 😉 Gomez Pugh delivered it again with his amazingly talented narration and performance. I think whenever I hear his voice, I would keep thinking the voices of Vic and Jacob. I can’t wait to start 5th one and get more of this amazing couple. Vic and Jacob forever. 😌

My new home: a converted cannery warehouse, with Vic & Jacob, and our king-sized bed. :)
Book 4 is the best of the series…so far (I anticipate I’ll be saying this with each book as I go along).
A lot more on the relationship with Vic and Jacob (which has always been my favorite part!) and some actual emotions going on with Victor…which I am obsessing over. I loved every second of Victor’s inner monologue and musings. He cracks me UP! He OWNS me! (And frighteningly, I actually relate to the way he feels and processes things.)
The mystery storyline took backseat in this book...but I'm glad so that we could focus on what's going on between Vic & Jacob (*sigh*...I love them). And what a welcome pleasure to have Lisa back!
Now…on to find out more about Camp Hell!

Jacob Baba is being pensive…the beginning of the end.
It was good and I liked it. Yet there’s no getting round it to point out that I felt somewhat underwhelmed—even bored at times. I guess I just expected…more? In fact, there was nothing earth-shattering about all those little secrets even though I know that all the talk about Heliotrope Station and Vic not will lead us to the next book Camp Hell. I'd be lying if I said that I was partial to the plot, though. It was just 'meh'. Plus, I’m honestly getting a bit fed up on the si-no game. Also, Vic really pissed me off for the first time. How can he Shit. I mean, crap. Vic really seems to have Like I said in one of my updates, lying by omission or not being totally honest goes both ways. Sure, Jacob made a mistake. However, I gotta give him credit for being absolutely star struck by Vic. Have you seen how Jacob practically eats Vic up with his eyes? I love the way he looks at Vic cos it's always so intense. As I see it, Jacob is all gaga over Vic and Not cool.
Enough of the negative points. Of course there were some really great scenes, too. At the risk of sounding shallow, I don’t mind telling you that I loved the smexin’. Whatever Vic and Jacob do, be it against a wall, in the kitchen, in the bathroom or between the sheets…I love it. They can keep on sucking face and c@ck or whatever else makes them happy cos they sure make me happy. Hawt!
My absolute favorite scene (no sex, I assure you):
Freaking intense. I loved it.
Overall verdict
A pretty good book but I didn’t get my money’s worth. 4.43 euro is too much for 156 pages because the storyline didn't knock my socks off and Secrets ends with a cliffie that practically taunts you to buy the next book.

Another amazing installment in the PsyCop series. I'm just going to get gushier and gushier in each review because I love each serving of this series that Jordan Castillo Price dishes out. I am fascinated by Vic and his history, and this book gave us yet another peek into what makes him tick. The characters are all so well developed that I can picture each and every one of them, and I feel like I know them personally.
This book in particular kept me guessing and kept me on my toes. It was that delicious combination of sexiness, humor, mystery, and paranormal that lands right on my ultimate sweet spot. I am ignoring all of my books on my to-read shelf to plow through this series. This book was a bit meatier than the one before it and I have ridiculously high hopes for the next in the series.

So in love with this series right now...
He and Jacob aren't even completely moved into their new home when Jacob gets called away on a case. Not a huge surprise for one of them to get called away, but it leaves Vic pondering all of the changes in his life how far he's come.
Vic would much rather talk shop with Jacob than face unpacking the mountain of boxes, but Jacob refuses to open up about the case which is obviously gotten under his skin.
Secrets...
Sometimes it's not about the information being kept from you...
Sometimes the hurt comes from knowing the person you love won't share...
This book is not about a campy three's-company-style grand misunderstanding, it's about figuring out how much you should share with the person you're sharing your life with...
Vic has spent a great deal of his relationship with Jacob questioning the whole situation - There are times when Vic seems honestly baffled that Jacob could love him. He's finally come to the point where he's forced to acknowledge that Jacob's attentions are not a fluke - I mean, they just bought a house together, and the "L" bomb has been dropped...
In this installment of the PsyCop series, Vic has an amazing moment where he shakes off all his self-doubt and charges in to defend his relationship. It was amazing to read and it really solidified all the warm fuzzy feelings I have for this series.
Every time I finish a PsyCop book I think 'Wow, Jacob and Victor really came together in this one!' and those moments just keep happening for them - it has been a steady and believable build up for their relationship and I'm just smitten with them both.
Most of it is spoilery, but I CAN tell you that there are malicious spirits and Grannies involved...
Also, Lisa is back (yay!) and her training at the Psych school has Vic remembering his time at Camp Hell... The memories are fuzzier than they ought to be, the internet insists that Camp Hell never existed (no surprise there) but the real shocker is that Vic doesn't seem to exist online either.
Someone is going to great lengths to ensure that nobody talks about Victor Bayne.
In addition to the great internet mystery, Vic discovers that he's being followed...
There's quite a bit of foreshadowing in the lead up to the next book, Camp Hell, and I'm practically salivating in anticipation! We finally get the scoop on Heliotrope Station?!?
Oh I am soooo ready for that!
I mean, I'm scared, but I'm excited...

4.2 Stars - Creeping exciting. I'm another PsyCop fan
Book #4
This was the first full-lenght novel in this series I have been reading by myself. I audiobook listened to the three previous. I'm not sure but I may prefer to listening to these stories. They feel more like witty fun when I hear Gomez Pugh reading for me.
I liked but didn't love the first two. I loved the third and they were all tempting good serie-parts to make me need more. This series feels just better and better for every book. (Reviews:)

Chicago nowadays..
The PsyCop Victor Bayne and his hot lover Jacob Marks started quite surprising a steaming hot relationship in the first book. Now a time later are they love-partners and are living together in the old cannery they just bought. ~ Their steaming hot relationship is wonderful to follow.
Here are also Victor and Jacob's colleagues and/or friends: Lisa, Zigler, Crash, Miss Mattie and Carolyn. They are all quite odd and slightly strange characters but together they all make this an interesting bunch of people to follow from book to book.
This forth part was about to adapt to now be a steady partner, unpacking moving boxes and fix a new home, get a visit from a dear friend, solve a crime in a nursing home and to set limits, have confidence, and of course also to love dearly and hot emotional. ~ Not to forget all those secrets. Maybe some will be solved in next book?

Victor is a forty year old with a twenty-year-old's behavior. Often incredibly awkward, helpless, careless, shabby but also so much fun. A wonderful anti-hero that I can't but care about and love.
I'm longing for the fifth book (#5 - Camp Hell ...and hope for a soon audiobook release).

Another entry in the Psycop chronicles that further develops the personal histories of the two major characters and throws in some new twists about the past. This entire series is really just turning into one long novel with each book about the equivalent of a very long entry (these are each standard novel size but one). The positive side is that it can be a BIG story with lots of characters who come and go; the negative side is that it's easy to lose track of characters from the first two books if you lay the series aside for a few weeks (and probably read some other series in the interval). But I've read all but the last one and will undoubtedly read that as soon as I recover from having read two in succession over a three-day period. Miss Mattie is a great minor character--hope we find out more about her.

Another good book in the series overall, but it did have annoyances. Before my complaints, I'll go over the positive parts - Jordan's still into Victor to the point to where I realize it's a type of psychological kink thing, the humor is as funny as ever in Vic's internal monologue, there's a plot that's creatively invented (villain mixed with supernatural in a bizarre way....).
The instant messenger thing was especially hilarious.
On the negative side, there's a few things that don't make sense. I get that Vic is freaked out about his existence seeming hidden, but I don't get why he's looking to blame others who know about it for not bringing it to him. As they told him, they figured he already knew. I would in their shoes. It's not like they are part of a massive conspiracy against him. And he should have known and done a little research himself, it's his fault he was in the dark about it.
Second, it was totally unacceptable, ridiculous and childish that he would be inclined to storm to a retirement home where his boyfriend is investigating a vicious rape of an elderly woman to confront him there about cheating. Really, it can wait, no matter how enraged you are. There's such a thing as decency, and that was just stupid.

The end of the book is a minor cliffhanger, too - but it's not so brutal it left me upset. I'm curious about how that will lead in the next book, which is thankfully a decent length novel compared to the others.
The instant messenger thing was especially hilarious.
On the negative side, there's a few things that don't make sense. I get that Vic is freaked out about his existence seeming hidden, but I don't get why he's looking to blame others who know about it for not bringing it to him. As they told him, they figured he already knew. I would in their shoes. It's not like they are part of a massive conspiracy against him. And he should have known and done a little research himself, it's his fault he was in the dark about it.
Second, it was totally unacceptable, ridiculous and childish that he would be inclined to storm to a retirement home where his boyfriend is investigating a vicious rape of an elderly woman to confront him there about cheating. Really, it can wait, no matter how enraged you are. There's such a thing as decency, and that was just stupid.

This is the fourth book in the PsyCop series, so far my favorite in this series..Vic and Jacob have finally found a house and are living together. Like the title, there were some secrets revealed that left Vic questioning his existence and sanity.
Vic is pretty much Vic as usual , funny, crazy ghost seeing person..here we see him deal with his insecurities. He starts to question his relationship with Jacob when he goes through his stuff and finds a video of Jacob and Crash (Advice Vic don’t go through your boyfriend’s old stuff) he becomes jealous, a jealous Vic is so hot. I love Vic and i love being in his head...
I'm not sure which part was weirder - that it had taken me so long to find someone I was serious about, or that it had even happened to me at all. I'd always figured I was too screwed up to do the whole long-term relationship thing with anybody. Ever.

This is probably my favorite entry so far because instead of just one mystery to focus on, new threads are emerging and contributing to an overall story arc that is just starting to show itself.
So you've got Vic, who is now starting to ask questions - questions about his job, his past and his relationship. He and Jacob are hot as ever, if not more so, but there are a few snags despite their growing feelings. You would think a paranormal mystery series centered around a self deprecating and awkward homicide detective wouldn't be so hot, but it is. I swear it is.
Supporting characters also contribute to the fun, as lie detector Caroline, precog Lisa, and crazy empath Crash feature prominently. This ends on a bit of a cliff hanger and I can't wait to see what comes next!

As I've read this series, I've been waiting for the "real" Jacob to make an appearance. Seeing him only from Vic's POV, he comes across as pretty much perfect. But wow -- they say "be careful what you wish for" for a reason. I was thinking more along the lines of maybe he doesn't put his dishes in the dishwasher, or he forgets Vic's birthday. Oops, looks like I got that last one right. ;)
For a while it felt like not much was going on here. And I was struck for the first time by just how inarticulate Vic can be. I found myself repeatedly wanting to shake him and say, "Dude! Use your words!"
But what keeps me invested in this series is the headspace Vic inhabits. JCP has created a mood, a tone, a feeling, that is pure Vic and almost impossible for me to define. Not exactly dark, not bleak, not depressed, but... forgive me if the best I can come up with is "haunted." But in such a dry, sly, quirky way, not seething with angst or bogged down by self-pity. (Not that self-pity doesn't make an occasional appearance. But it's not Vic's defining feature.) I can't even call Vic "damaged," because that would trivialize his unique and complex nature. Gahhhhh, enough with the inadequate attempts at explanation -- maybe someone needs to shake ME and say, "Use your words!"
At any rate... On to the next in the series.

Foi o melhor livro dessa série até agora! Muitas emoções em volta de Victor Bayne. Digo que o caso envolvendo a idosa foi o mais revoltante, o pior de tudo é que não vemos isso só em livros, é só ligar a TV para saber de casos desagradáveis assim com idosas. Vi no jornal um caso de um cara que violentou uma mulher de 85 anos, é algo nojento só de falar. O bizarro é que a vida real consegue ser pior que na ficção,vc percebe que o ser humano tá num nível terrível de falta de amor no coração quando a realidade é pior que ficção. O livro 4 foi sem dúvidas o meu favorito até o momento, quando Victor, Lisa, Jacob e Carolyn trabalham juntos tudo fica mais empolgante! Foi um caso difícil e doloroso, mas foi o mais nojento e interessante até agora. O lance de Victor perceber que têm algo de errado com sua não aparição na Internet abriu às portas para um novo mistério em volta dele e o acampamento inferno. Imagino que o próximo livro será mais tenso ainda, ah.. Já tinha imaginado que Jacob tinha se interessado pelo Victor antes daquela festa de aposentadoria de Maurice! Jacob foi tipo "É TUDO OU NADA, DAREI UM PASSO OUSADO E VEREMOS SE TENHO SORTE" 😅

Book #4 and it just keeps getting better and better. I’m on a roll!
Ms Price does a cracking job at keeping me glued to this series. The characters are so vividly depicted through Victor’s interpretation of events. His winning narration is full of neurotic musings, misgivings and paranoia over uhm… well, everything. You wouldn’t think this is fun at all, but oh dear lord - it so is!
Victor Bayne is the funniest neurotic I I’ve ever met. I already loved him, now I ADORE him and love him and want him around forever and ever. I want to highlight everything that comes out of his mouth.
The plot is the most engaging to date; with a slow build and immaculate conclusion. It was a good mystery that doesn’t distract from the characters but highlights them; exposing their flaws and pushing limits.
The uber awesome, super sexy, super perfect, super detective Jacob Marks continues to fuel my fantasies, despite not being as perfectly perfect as I thought. I’m a tad frowny faced over his penchant for nasty psy kink, and a few other things that will not be mentioned for fear of breaking into a chest poking rant.
As much as I hate thinking it or asking it; are secrets causing a few cracks in this relationship?
Crash is ever present; tempting, teasing and annoying Vic. The empath uses his semi talent to push every one of Vic’s buttons. He provides me with oodles of angst and many laughs; but this cheeky, sexy bad boy is a sneaky little fucker whose goal is to get Vic intobed trouble. I don’t trust him, but I think I like him.
Lisa is back! I love this woman, or is it just her talent I love? Who cares, she’s super cool and I want her for my bestie.
Zigler Typical detective type bloke with typical detective type tash, originally deemed suspicious and by me; might have redeemed himself with his honesty and the introduction to his family. He’s alright ole Zig.
JCP gives us some back story here which not only fills in a few gaps, but also plants a few conspiracy theories which has Vic’s name written all over them. All this makes me very nervous for Camp Hell. Just the title gives me an anxiety attack, which is probably just Vic rubbing off on me but I’m loathed to know the true extent of Vic’s abuse at Heliotrope. I know that evil shit (I mean crap) went down at Camp Hell.

The author's note at the end pretty much sums up my thoughts on the whole jealousy thing, even though I think that Jacob has more reason to be jealous, coz he isn't the one imagining Crash naked all the time. But anyway... I didn't expect Vic to react the way he did. I mean, it's Vic; burying emotions deep down, or outright ignoring them is more his speed. But what the author said, totally makes sense. I liked that we saw something different from Vic. His outburst really shook things up. And I feel he grown as a person since the first book. Now I feel he isn't just going along with things, but taking up the reins (sometimes). He is gaining confidence.
Jacob....JacobJacob. There is a fine line between persuasion and manipulation and to me it felt like what he was doing is more of the latter. Then again Vic was obviously aware of what Jacob was doing and he let it happen. Hell, he even liked it. Which brings me to the sex. ............. Good job Vic! *applauds* :)
Jacob's good boy image was tarnished a bit here. He was not as professional this time, regarding the case. He simply lost his cool. Also I wondered why not just partner Vic with him, but I see now that they couldn't possibly work together. Too much distraction. :D

Secrets delivered hours of spectral mystery, hilarious banter, relationship troubles and passionate love. As always the star of the book, Victor Bayne, was his awkward and snarky self. I enjoyed his Jacob's deepening feelings and that Vic finally figured out, sort of, what made Jacob tick.
The case was rather interesting - spiritual and spooktastically awesome. I enjoyed the crew brainstorming and figuring it all out. Secondary characters featured strongly this time giving a little glimpse into their lives as well as what it took to be close to Vic. I am liking this series more and more.

I’m still enjoying this reread, but I’ll have to take half star off my original rating, because there are some aspects of Vic’s characterization here that are out of place considering all that comes before and after this book.
That aside, this book is otherwise great for putting in motion many plotlines for the rest of the series and showing Vic and Jacob’s relationship in a more complex and realistic angle.

Attraction’ in action. These guys were like poor Tom below. Well Jacob mainly but Vic not far behind.
Vic had a kind of epiphany in this one, first about himself, about what he is and what had happened to him and then about Jacob who seems to be so in control but it seems that, that control is shaky as well. Victor is finally becoming aware. So we have Victor all hot and bothered, asking, demanding, chasing. I like this Vic. This was a wake up call – opens up the past and the future both for Vic and for us.
I think the story is gathering momentum as it goes along, I noticed it in book 3 and it continues in this one. It seems as if it’s all coming together or at least I am starting seeing some shapes (no, not ghostly ones). And yes the ghost story in the background was a good one.

Jacob irritated me in this one. He lies to Vic, hanging out with his ex-boyfriend Crash to talk about his day, things he doesn't feel Vic should hear. The problem is that Vic hangs out with Crash too. In fact, he finds the ex-boyfriend of his current boyfriend really sexy and that felt all wrong. Crash gives Vic a little free couples therapy...
Yes, Jacob is a walking hard-on for Vic, but not treating him as an equal is starting to irritate me. Super hot scenes between them, with a hint of D/s.
Really do love the uniqueness of this series, just hope Vic starts to demand that Jacob treat him right. Was nice to have Lisa back, I hope she becomes a key side character in future books.

I enjoyed this book immensely. What I liked the most was how imperfect Vic and Jacob were. How real and sometimes raw their relationship was and how for the lack of better word perfect they fit together because of it.
It's nice to read a novel when you can relate to main characters in some way. The way they communicate, how Jacob digs Vic's talking about ghosts is one of the best parts of the book. I think that they are meant to be - like soulmates. They are so different yet when they are together they fit like a puzzle. The intimacy between them is sometimes rough and gritty but yet you can feel the love they have for each other even though it's never said out loud. There is no romance or flowery words just real emotions that are so much better than any sweet sugary drivel that sometimes can ruin the book.
Ms Castillo did a great job on this one just like the other books in the series that came before. So I will be reading the next one! Thanks!

I think this is my favorite yet from the PsyCop series. Each book is getting better. First, the mystery here is different, I actually care about what happens and I want to know the perp. Second, it's good to see the old character back - Lisa the "si-no" who was missing in the 3rd book. Third, and the best thing, the development in Victor and Jacob relationship. My favorite scene will be when Victor confronted Jacob when he suspects his boyfriend to be two-timing him with Crash (the ex-boyfriend). I think that is such an improvement in Victor's character, who usually keep people at arms' length. I seriously can't wait to read book #5. The ending in this book feels like a very good opener to a bigger mystery of Camp Hell.

I'm going to have to drop this down to 3.5 stars. I didn't realize it until now, but the whole dynamic between Vic and Crash, while it was always on the edge of weirdly flirtatious with a healthy dose of caution (on Vic's part at least), was a bit OOC for Vic in this one.
And then there's Jacob. I don't understand why some readers think Vic is unaware of Jacob's flaws, when Vic clearly is - and boy, does Jacob have flaws. Also involving that damn Crash.

Finished the audiobook for this today. It sounds like Pugh changed Jacob's voice again, just the slightest bit. I can't say it works any better for me than the previous two books, but it's still way better than the first book. I admit, Jacob's voice is the one weak spot in these audiobooks for me. He still sounds a little too meathead, you know?
I forgot most of the plot of this book, aside from the cops at the retirement home, so it was a lot like "reading" it for the first time. I think if I were to re-rate it, I'd give it a 3 or 3.5 because it is a bit slow at times, but I'll leave it a four for this review of the audio because of Pugh's stellar performance.
I did notice all the little plot elements that set up the later books in the series: Vic experimenting with his powers, those previously mentioned cops in the retirement home, Jacob being maybe more than he seems, the expansion of the universe canon in regards to the protection of psychs. It's all good stuff but it's too much set up and detracts from the main plot. And they weren't exactly very compelling secrets.
I did notice a continuity error between Jacob's story here of when he first saw Vic at the precinct picnic and "Inside Out" and it's not a small one. Jacob says here, “I’d never really gotten a good look at you. And once I did….” But Jacob did get a good look at Vic several months earlier. They even interacted, albeit marginally, in "Inside Out" so it seems like a weird thing to omit here. I see they were written three years apart though, so maybe that explains it.

I'm going to have to drop this down to 3.5 stars. I didn't realize it until now, but the whole dynamic between Vic and Crash, while it was always on the edge of weirdly flirtatious with a healthy dose of caution (on Vic's part at least), was a bit OOC for Vic in this one.

This series gets better with every new book I read (yep, I'm doing them all) that I want to kick myself for having given the previous such a high review but the fact is that each one is perfect unto itself.
JCP is so brilliant that if you look at the first half of this book nothing really happens and yet everything is in motion. What we have is Vic settling into his new place and life with Jacob, navigating his ever curious relationship with Crash and starting to get comfortable in his own skin. Sure he still prefers to hide in plain sight and who can blame him but he is also brave and assertive even when it costs him everything to put himself out there.
I think that the grander themes in this series are how to fit into or be in a world where you are singled out as different, not part of the whole, a square peg to a round hole particularly when like Vic you've not had a family or friends to anchor you and support you. Granted Vic has been on the outside mostly by choice but who can blame him for hiding after what his early life has been.
In this installment we get to see Lisa again and I just love seeing her navigate some of the same things that Vic did but under wholly different circumstances and we get another facet of Jacob. He is a righteous avenger if need be and though he sometimes wants to swaddle Vic from the world I for one am glad that they have each other.
I'm almost thinking that Crash deserves a series for himself. He is that guy you want to punch in the face but will defend at the drop of a hat because being around him makes life more interesting.
And lastly Gomez Pugh is absolutely perfect. If you can get the audio to this don't hesitate. Worth every single second.

Up to now 4 book and 5 stars to all!!!

Maybe is th first time I'm giving 5 stars to all book of a serie, but I can't denied... I looooooooooove Vic, Jacob, Crahs, Lisa, EVERYONE! All characters are so well developed, and obviously also the paranormal-romance (its almost a an erotic level).
So I'm giving 5 stars because I'm getting everything I appreciate: laugh,turn on, mystery and suspense, action... Everything!!!
Quick review, I know but is useless write more... only reading you will understand how good this serie is!

There is nothing about this series I don't love. I love Lisa and Zigler, I love the new depth to Jacob and Vic's relationship, now that they've moved in together, I even love how bewildered Vic still is sometimes about how much Jacob loves him *and I lovelovelove how Jacob loves him. *melts*
Besides the great characters, the plot is entertaining, with the perfect mix of creepy and lol with a pinch of angst and drama *though the drama is mostly Vic, in his head*. And it must be mentioned, though I love the story and characters all on it's own, the audiobook is perfection to listen to. Gomez Pugh as the reader gives genuine personality and life to this world and is, as always, utterly delicious to listen to. *sigh*
