Exercise Testing and Presciption, a necessity for anybody who wants to exercise and have fun in an environment without injuries. Being by the American College of Sports Medicine, they maintain their integrity as the go to place for exercise testing and superscription: and it shows in the content of this book.

This is the bible for pre-exercise risk stratification, fitness assessments, exercise prescription, and programming. With excellent reason, this book is one of the single most internationally read and referenced texts of its kind. I definitely recommend it, but am not checking the "I recommend this book" box because I save that distinction for books that will benefit everyone in my network, including the non-health/fitness professional.

For a class. Mostly charts and graphs. Pretty useful, though.
