Nuno Magalhães Ribeiro é Professor Associado da Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade Fernando Pessoa (UFP). É administrador da academia Microsoft IT Academy da Universidade Fernando Pessoa e Coordenador do Curso de Especialização Tecnológica em Programação de Aplicações Web (CET-PAW). Coordena também a Pós-graduação em Gestão e Administração de Redes Windows (PG-GARW) no âmbito do projeto de educação corporativa da UFP. Participou em projetos de I&D nacionais e internacionais no Centro Multimédia da Universidade do Porto (CMUP) e no Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC). Atualmente, desenvolve atividade de I&D no Centro de Estudos e Recursos Multimediáticos da Universidade Fernando Pessoa (CEREM), nas áreas de Visão por Computador, Realidade Aumentada e Aplicações Multimédia para Dispositivos Móveis, orientando doutoramentos nas áreas da Computação Emocional e Visualização de Informação Multimédia. Foi autor dos livros “Multimédia e Tecnologias Interativas”, publicado pela FCA (atualmente na 5ª edição), “Tecnologias de Compressão Multimédia”, publicado pela FCA e “Informática e Competências Tecnológicas para a Sociedade da Informação”, publicado pelas Edições da UFP (atualmente na 2ª edição). ...more
