thank you!! I'll definitely put it on my tbr
There's really no particular order to read Ito's work. Usually you can buy his stories in "collectors editions" so maybe I would start with his famous works like Tomie, Uzumaki or Gyo. If you want to read his short story collections (smaller books, but they're just as good), maybe start with Smashed, Shiver, or Venus in the Blind Spot. I also recommend checking out his adaptation of Osamu Dazai's, No Longer Human.

I started this reading journey on Junji Ito with “Tommie” and continued with “Uzumaki”. Really good and scary. With his short story collection I decided to try “Shiver”. I think you can give experience with he’s famous books and see if you like it or not. I’m sorry for my English, but it’s not so good today 😂

I think you’re good to start wherever. I personally don’t really like his stories but I like the artwork. Maybe start with an anthology?
I think it's okay to start with any short story! The Enigma of Amigara Fault this one is a classic and a ton of people were saying this was their first Junji Ito's work. Some favorites of mine are The Town Without Streets; 道のない街; Michi no nai machi, Layers of Fear; 恐怖の重層; Kyoufu no Juusou & The Long Dream; 長い夢; Nagai Yume
Most of them are standalones, but I would start with an anthology (Shiver: Selected Stories is probably the best) and then read Uzumaki (my personal favourite) ;w;
I think you can start with the one which inspire you the most, I don't think there is a specific order that you have follow, read all the plots and choose the one which you think you will love the most!
You can start with any manga because all the stories are standalones :) even the ones that have more than one episode of its own
