Sam Sahota is an Entrepreneur, Yogi, Polyglot, Life Coach and author of The Faqir

Sam was born in 1976 in London and spent 8 years living in Spain in his early twenties where he learnt to speak fluent Spanish. He also fluently speaks his parents mother tongue which is Punjabi and Hindi.

It was during his time in Spain where he first began using the name Sam. The pronunciation of his real name was too difficult for the Iberians that they christened him Sam and it has stuck since then.

The characters in The Faqir are both loosely based on Sam and a lot of the inspiration for this book is taken from real life stories from Sam's family and private life.
