The East and South East were expelled by Nigeria authority; because, the coup may have affected the Northern more than other parts, wherein the prime minister of Nigeria was Hausa Northern and was among the casualty in the Nigeria army coup. For this reason, the Nigeria authority went and killed the first Nigeria military Major general by name 'Johnson Ironsi' in retaliation of the Hausa Northern prime minister, and had expelled the entire Hebo s resided in Nigeria; although, many Biafra Indigenous people died as a result of the expulsion; some who survived were welcome by Emeka Ojukwu.
