R.J. Setser is a pseudonym for wife and husband duo, Rayleigh and Joshua Setser. High-school sweethearts who found their happily-ever-after in 2019, Rayleigh and Joshua have been writing together since 2015 and finished their debut novel, A Queen is Knighted in 2020. They live in a small town in Texas with their 2 dogs, Watson and Rosie, and 1 cat, Yuna. They spend most of their time juggling contradicting work schedules to write together. In their free time, they can be found with either of their families at the lake, reading, and quite possibly, playing sword-fighting video games “for research”. Find them on Instagram & Threads (@rjsetserauthor) or online at rjsetser.com.

But the further into writing The Tunockian Chronicles that Joshua and I get, the more I'd love to visit Tunock, Nilvanria, or any of the places in our books. Exploring those worlds, tasting the food, and taking in the colors and fashion; that would be a dream.(less)

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
"If all sci-fi was this robust, full of emotional depth, and good at making complex concepts understandable to regular people like me, I’d read it a lot more I think. It’s rare for me to enjoy advanced scientific topics in fiction (relativity is STILL" Read more of this review »

I genuinely don't know how to rate this. I've been trying to write a review for hours, but I feel like I could write an essay dissecting every aspect of this story. So, I'm just going to give it 5 stars and include a massive adult content warning. I ...more
