Hi, I’m Amy.
As a child I was often called a bookworm because my nose was always in a book … It still is. I read almost anything I can get my hands on, and love to start my day with a few chapters while having breakfast. I also sneak in a few more before bedtime each night.

I was born in South Africa and moved to New Zealand in my mid-thirties. I first dreamt of writing a novel when I was seventeen. I put all my thoughts and ideas on paper and tried to write a book, with no idea of what I was doing. It was a bigger challenge than I was ready to take on. I set the pages on fire and shelved that idea. It took twenty years for another spark of inspiration to hit, the beginning of the ‘Kissing Frogs’ trilogy.

Book one in a trilogy, and the ending left me wondering what had just happened. I get that the author wanted to leave this on a cliffhanger to get readers to buy book 2, but the way the story fizzled out and just ended has (sadly) left me not interes ...more
