Noël Cades writes sizzling hot forbidden romance and Regency romance.

Major themes include:

* Regency Romance
Noël's first historic romance, "The Substitute Bride" (2017) features an arranged marriage with a twist: identity swap. Noël's second historic romance, also with an authentic Regency setting, is "Teaching His Ward" (2019).

* Student Teacher Romance
Noël's first novel, "Forbidden Lessons" (2014) and its sequel "Forbidden Study" (2016), were inspired by old schoolfriends and the teacher crushes and secret boyfriends they had at boarding school. In "French Kissing" (2015) a student falls in love with her teacher as they take part in a musical theatre production. In "His Model Student" (2016), a devastatingly sexy artist seduces his student

“It was unwise for a woman to trust a man too far, for it was never the men who suffered the consequences.”
Noël Cades, The Substitute Bride

“Love is not to alter, but to accept.”
Noël Cades, Teaching His Ward

“Nothing, absolutely nothing, could have prepared Jemima for such a man as stood before her now. Nor her reaction to him that seemed to overtake her whole body.

He was tall and broad shouldered, with exquisitely cut clothes moulded to his athletic form. His hair was jet black with no streak of silver, though Jemima could not discern the colour of his eyes in the candlelight. His features were impossibly handsome, chiselled as though by a Greek sculptor.”
Noël Cades, Teaching His Ward

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”
Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

Aayesha Thanks for the friendvite! Impressive to see you're an author! :D

I've always aspired to be one (I've written a few things on the side as well), but med school takes up ALL my time - I haven't read a book in forever *wails*

Christina Azalea Hello and thank you for the request. And yes i am very interested in receiving a free copy from you :-)

Noël Cades Noor wrote: "Hi Noël! Thanks for accepting my friend request! I really love fobidden romance books too, especially teacher student. See ya around GR :)"

Thanks! And please do recommend me any good ones you've read, I love reading them as well as writing them!

message 10: by Noël

Noël Cades Oh yes I've read "Taming the Beast" - it is extremely dark. A great read, but certainly not a cosy romance/HEA. Very fascinating and realistic though.

message 9: by Cam *tactile seeker* (last edited Apr 28, 2015 06:05AM)

Cam *tactile seeker* Actually, I haven't read any other book I've won yet, except for "The Yearning", but I've heard that Taming the Beast is pretty dark and beautifully-written

message 8: by Noël

Noël Cades I've also read Unteachable which was a pretty fascinating read. Were there any other good student-teacher romances you would recommend from the bundle you got?

message 7: by Cam *tactile seeker* (last edited Apr 28, 2015 12:21AM)

Cam *tactile seeker* Oh, yes! Thank you, I loved the writing in that book. It was pure beauty. Too bad I basically disliked everything the MC did. The Yearning actually came to me with a bunch of other books I'd won in a contest.
Author Leah Raeder did it and they all were books about teacher-student relationship, because she loved it. She wrote a book, Unteachable by Leah Raeder about that, too.

message 6: by Noël

Noël Cades Your review of The Yearning, it was a really in depth, interesting review.

Cam *tactile seeker* Hi Noël, thank you for the friend request! Which book was it, exactly?

MELISSA *Mel Reader* Thanks for the friend vite Noel! :))

message 3: by Noël

Noël Cades Thank you! Hoping we can find lots more great books between us!

message 2: by Noël

Noël Cades Thanks! If and when you're accepting new books just let me know and I'll send you a copy!

Tracey Hey Noël, thanks so much for the friend invite!! Forbidden Lessons sounds awesome!! :)
