I'm so touched to read this...I'm sort of at a loss. I'm so happy that you connected with the book as deeply as you did. That's a writer's greatest dream. <3
I've written a follow-up novella to Rush called Endless Possibility. It explains what Noah was doing in Europe, following Charlotte's tour. I mention it in case you haven't seen it, and since you felt connected to Noah in Rush. The novella is almost entirely his POV so you might like that too.
Thanks so much for taking the time to drop me a line here. Great question! ;)

I love Weston too. He's one of my favorite characters. As for the sequel, I'm working on it every day, but I'm hesitant to name an official release day until I'm sure I can stick to it. I'm shooting for early October, but I'll announce here when I know for sure. <3 (less)

“And your characters were my friends and my family when I didn’t have any, and when I had nothing and no one to talk to, I had your books, and I just want to thank you for that. Thank you. Thank you so much. --Natalie”
Emma Scott, Love Beyond Words

“He held on. Weakly, struggling, in agony, he held on, drawing upon the great reservoirs of love and bravery I knew he possessed. He held on for his little girl. For his father. And I liked to think that maybe, if only a little, he held on because I refused to let him go.”
Emma Scott, Unbreakable

“Maybe what I told her was a lie. Maybe I could be what she deserved. Maybe I could make the same teeth-clenching, sweat-pouring effort I’d put into my PT, and channel that into living blind, so that she wouldn’t have to constantly be cleaning up after me, or dragging my ass out of the house. My endless black was never going to go away. That was certainty. But kissing Charlotte had been a burst of light streaking across it, like a comet.
Maybe. Maybe is gradations of darkness. The sweetest torture.
Maybe is hope.”
Emma Scott, Rush

“Love, real love, wasn’t empty, grasping hands, or lies that felt like truths. And it wasn’t perfect or neat or always easy. It was a rising sun on a new day. It was endless possibility.”
Emma Scott, Rush
