“Funny thing about fear. When you cling to it, the fear grows exponentially, a monster morphing into a suffocating mass. But when you face it head-on, conquering the beast before it swallows you whole, you find there was nothing there to fear at all. The chains break, and the whole world feels lighter than ever before.”

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”
― The Fellowship of the Ring

"I desired more...than was within my reach. Who blames me? Many call me discontented. I couldn't help it: the restlessness is in my nature; it agitated me to pain sometimes.”

“Jane: Mr. Rochester, if ever I did a good deed in my life-if ever I thought a good thought-if ever I prayed a sincere and blameless prayer-if ever I wished a righteous wish-I am rewarded now. To be your wife is, for me, to be as happy as I can be on earth.
Mr. Rochester: Because you delight in sacrifice.
Jane: Sacrifice! What do I sacrifice? Famine for food, expectation for content. To be privileged to put my arms round what I value-to press my lips to what I love-to repose on what I trust: is that to make a sacrifice? If so, then certainly I delight in sacrifice.”

What are some of your favorite PNR/..."
Haha! Thanks for accepting. :) I seriously almost spit out my coffee when I read your profile name. Hubs and I are currently on our semi-annual rewatch of GOT. ;)
So, I love Bec McMasters London Steampunk series, so damn cool and original. I also am a huge Nalini Singh fan of both the Guildhunter and the Psy-Changeling series. Oh! And Amanda Bouchet! Wow. Her FR, the Kingmaker series, was so cool--snarky and sexy--my favorite type of romance. How about you?

What are some of your favorite PNR/vampire romances?

Thank you so much for the friendship request here on Goodreads! I look forward to reading your work.
Kind Regards

Thank you, Lucinda! I hope to have publishing details very soon. :)
