With Me in Seattle #8

Forever with Me

Rate this book
Dominic Salvatore seemingly has everything a man could want. He’s found a new relationship with his father and the entire Montgomery family. His vineyard, Cuppa di Vita, is a success. There’s only one thing that eludes him: a certain driven, intelligent, and sexy as hell blonde named Alecia.

Alecia works tirelessly building her event planning business. It’s the most important part of her life. Despite the beautiful, lavish weddings she organizes, Alecia is convinced that the idea of true love is a myth. While Dominic is a sexy, intriguing man, welcoming the handsome Italian into her bed, and her life, is a risk she’s not so sure she’s willing to take.

However, Dominic isn’t used to taking no for an answer, and it’s not long before these two are burning up the sheets and discovering a connection that neither can deny. But will it be strong enough to last forever?

“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, tesoro.” – Dominic Salvatore

4 'fated together' stars!

 photo 0a574f54-2fcd-4e79-8035-4400e34f03e7_zps45df8d36.jpg

I had such mixed feelings when I started this book. On one hand I was excited to read it. I love the Montgomery’s. They are one of my favorite fictional families. On another hand, I was so sad that this is the final book. No more Will. No more Caleb. No more Nate. That makes me sad. I just want these stories to go on and on and on. I’ll miss these men big time.

Dominic Salvatore is technically a Montgomery. He just came into the family a little late in the game. The Montgomery’s have opened their hearts to him. Dom has his family here in the US, his family in Italy. A business and job he loves. But he’s missing something. Or someone. He has been taken by Alecia, the family’s party planner, since the moment he first met her.

It’s obvious Dom and Alecia have a connection. They are attracted to each other and get along well. But there is one problem. Alecia doesn’t do love or relationships.
“I don’t believe in love. If you think that that’s where you want this to go, you should know that I am not capable of that.”

 photo 01365ed3-1dae-44c7-af1d-09fad057f944_zps90c9e941.jpg

Dom just wants to be with her. He’s convinced with time, he might be able to change her mind. The weeks leading up to one of my favorite couples wedding, Dom and Alecia are spending a lot of time together. Dom is hosting the wedding at his Vineyard, and Alecia is planning the event.

As Dom starts to quickly fall for Alecia, he makes it his mission to show her that real love exists. To make her realize she is worthy of love and happiness.
“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, Tesoro.”

And just when he gets close to doing that, a misunderstanding throws everything off course...

As much as I adore Kristen Proby’s writing and her characters, I got frustrated with both Dom and Alecia toward the end. Their lack of communication and explanation irked me. Particularly reguarding Dom. It wasn’t a game changer and I got over it... by the end. But that was the main reason this wasn’t a 5 star book for me.

I truly love this family and most of the books in this series are winners for me. Books #2, #3, #4 and #5 are my absolute favorites. This author’s writing style flows really well and her books are sweet, sexy and easy to read. The secondary characters just make the books for me. Put me in a room with these hot Montgomery men to ogle or their women to get drunk with and I would be one happy girl!
“Orgasms,” Nic continues, “are nature’s way of saying, yeah, life sucks ass, but here, have some candy.”

See what I mean? These girls drunk are the best!

I hope in the future Kristen Proby comes out with another series like this. With such a strong sense of family and friendship, lovable characters and that steamy and sweet romance read I crave!

Well, I confess to mixed feelings about this one. While, on one hand, we get an absolutely classic Kristen Proby style romance, Forever With Me does close the chapter on the whole With Me In Seattle series and we bid farewell to the completely adorable Montgomery clan who have been close to my heart for a good couple of years now. I've read this author since her first novel and we're a good fit and she's produced one of my most favourite book boyfriends in Will Montgomery.

What KP does so well is give us strong, dependable, fiercely protective and highly lickable heroes that we can just fall head over heels in love with and match them with independent, sassy, kickass heroines that any girl would want as a best friend. She effortlessly seems to piece together heartwarming romance, highly-charged, steamy sex scenes and fabulous humour - a powerful combination. It's just feel good romance at it's very best and it's perfect for a sunny Sunday in the back garden nursing a slight hangover which is exactly how I just experienced Forever With Me.

This time, it's the turn of Dominic Salvatore, the illegitimate son of the senior Montgomery, who turned up a couple of books ago. Bit of a clunky plot device but I forgive the author for not wanting to part with the whole Montgomery clan quite so early and to drag it out a little further and we get a super sweet epilogue at the end of this to bring us some closure. As always, Dominic is typical KP hero material - sexy, focussed, shit-hot in the sack, over-protective, possessive, bossy and just a perfect book boyfriend and he's about to convince his forever girl, events organiser Alecia, to give him a go.

Cue a bit of angst, a lot of sweet and sexy and a big goofy grin on my face as I lost an entire Sunday to this book. I know this is all too good to be true but, as a romance reader, I'm not buying into reality here. It's the escapism that I want and my life is always better for having a romance novel on the back burner at all times to dip into when time allows. Sometimes I want dark, sometimes I want kinky and sometimes I just want a wonderful book boyfriend to swoon and melt into a puddle for and this is what I turn to Kristen Proby for and she never disappoints and Dominic Salvatore, hunk of Italian Love Muscle that he is, was pretty much what the doctor ordered for my jaded Sunday afternoon.

So as we turn the final page and bid farewell to the delightful Montgomeries, fear not, as KP has a new series ready and waiting for us, Boudreaux which really does promise to be a worthy successor and more of exactly what I want from this author.

So, arrivederci and adieu and thanks for the memories.

Well guys, I just had to sneak in another book when I was supposed to be working on my finals. **shrugs sheepishly** I had been planning on waiting until the holidays to purchase and read, but in my defense, this happened:

 photo 4evawitmeh.png

I got to meet this sweet author! (By the way, she is super nice. I highly recommend going to one of her signings if you get the chance).

Anyways, Forever With Me is the final installment of the With Me series. sniffle <--- OMG keep it together Rachel! ....And now you've convinced your readers you're nuts!

I digress.

This book is about party planner Alecia and the long lost Italian brother Dominic. Dom has made it clear in the past that he's interested in Alecia but she's brushed off all his advances. With a little help from our favorite due Natalie and Jules, Dom is nudged in the right direction of how to pursue Alecia without her thinking he just wants in her pants.

There's only one problem: Alecia doesn't believe in love.

And that's all I'm going to say about the plot folks. I thought this was a sweet ending to a series that has fulfilled my check box in the guilty pleasure shelf. Dom was a great hero and Alecia a wonderful damaged heroine. I got my angst fix and everything.

So why not 4 or 5 stars then? You ask. Well, the first 4 installments of this series I really liked and even loved. Unfortunately after book 4, Rock With Me, the books became a little too cheesy and formulaic for me to give any higher of a rating. I do commend the author for sticking with a series this large and remaining true to her characters and themes, but a part of me is glad she is moving on from the Montgomery's and giving her readers something new.

So thank you Ms. Proby for giving us a lasting romance series that celebrates men treating women the way they should be treated. Bravo.

“Intimacy is who you wake up thinking about at three in the morning, It’s talking about your hopes and fears in the dark. It’s the one person you give your undivided attention to when ten other people are fighting for it. It’s that person, always in the back of your mind, no matter how distracted you are.”

4 Forever Stars.

Dominic has his life figured out: he has a successful job as the owner of a vineyard and he has a great family. Even being recently found. The only thing missing? Alecia.
He wants her, but she had refused is advances every time. And when he’s almost giving up, he tries a new strategy that starts to change everything.
And that’s when he realizes that maybe she isn’t that indifferent to him, may be she’s just afraid of her own feelings. And since all’s fair in love and war… this time is fighting to win.

I was faithful to these books since the early beginning, and some of them (the second and the third mainly) were what made a Kristen Proby undeniable fan. This was a great, sweet and romantic series and I will miss this family. This was a great ride!
I you’re not familiar with these books yet…. Seriously, what the hell are you waiting for?

Characters Development: Dominic was great! I had some doubts when he appeared with the whole bastard son, but he’s amazing. Damn you, hot Italian men! Alecia was… nice, but she was too stubborn for my taste. Even when it was pretty clear (even for her) that she had no reason to be insecure, she was just being a pain in the ass. Loved to see the rest of the gang, this is one of the best families ever written.

5 FOREVER IN MY HEART STARS*****

First of all before I review this book I just want to say how much I have savoured, loved and adored the Montgomery's and Williams family, how whenever I needed a sweet romance Kristen proby's books are my number 1 choice ALWAYS!!! I am feeling kind of sad but happy that they're all happy and that I have enjoyed them every step of the way....

 photo E3FD07E5-74CA-4128-B94E-999B6070AA51_zpstrm1a8ni.jpg

So What's this one about
Steven Montgomery is the father of this big joyful family but once upon a time his relationship had a dip and therefore had a one night stand hence where our HOT ITALIAN Dominic came from. I have to be honest in that I didn't know where or how he would fit into this family when we were introduced to him a few books back but there was no reason or that, here we have a loving tender and compassionate man who loves hard, feels hard, protects hard and all in all fits right in no questions asked.

Dom is he owner of a Vineyard he knows everything there is to know about wine he has a beautiful home and that is what he lives for its who he is. Alecia owns a wedding planning service, she organises everything to do with weddings but its kind of funny that you are in a career that is based on love but you don't believe in love.

" There's no way in hell I'm going to fall for him. I don't fall. Love isn't real. Affection. Lust. Those are real. And in my line of business, I see how quickly they fade. Fuck, I've live it.

But she does love the banter and chemistry she has with Dom, there's something alluring and sensually appealing about him that Alecia just can't walk away from so for now they start of as a "for now" rather than "a future", thing is Alecia hasn't had the most loving family they weren't bad but not loving therefore she feels like she can't love, it's Doms place to make her feel loved and know that she is capable of love and all in all that's the gist of the game, its a gradual love that develops and grows in time, Dom is patient and is there for her 110% the way.

 photo 5073AD77-022E-421C-8331-CB713F6A49B0_zps8vyl20sk.jpg

My Thoughts
Alecia although was an Independent strong woman she can be slightly annoying at times saying that I could also see her reasons and for that it wasn't a frustrating read just more of a developmental story. Dom 'sigh' nothing not to like here sexy, HOT, loving and caring Alecia was all he needed he loves hard and in that he loved Alecia hard from get go. This is a easy enjoyable kind of a cup cake and coffee kind of story not much thinking in it but I will always love these stories for what they are, a sweet and sexy enjoyable read.

The parents were the core of where they have all come from and really this family has always given me something to enjoy in one way or another.

So will I recommend it~ Yes just don't expect gripping or Intense but if you want enjoyable light and fun then 100% yes yes yes~ Go go go!!!!!

4 Hate to see it end Stars

I have truly in loved this series, I started it years ago and of course read a book out of order, so Nate was my first love. I have never loved one of these books as much as I loved Nate’s, but I always look forward to a new release and enjoy them nonetheless. The Montgomery’s are a wonderful family and I have loved seeing them all meet and fall in love. I wasn’t sure about Dominic’s book since I still remembered my feelings of wariness when he first came around.

I loved reading this book from his POV and finally seeing the full story. I also loved that our little party planner, Alecia, finally got her HEA.

Alecia may plan elaborate weddings, but she is a cynic when it comes to love. So when Dominic repeatedly asks her out she assumes it is for a one-night stand and she isn’t willing to jeopardize her relationship with the Montgomery’s - even if she is sure it would be one amazing night!

Dominic is ready to throw in the towel when it comes to Alecia, I mean how many times can I guy to be told no. After some convincing from this his brother’s Dominic decides to give it one last shot and truly pursue her while they are working together on Will and Meg’s wedding.

Like all the other With Me in Seattle there is tons of heart and quite a bit of sexiness. Dom was definitely a perfect balance of both.

I did thoroughly enjoy this book, but did get frustrated with the lack of communication and running. I am not a fan of either of them in books or real life. I do still recommend this book if you have read and enjoyed the other books in the series. I hate to see this series end, I have always known exactly what I am getting with these books - they have always been light refreshing reads.

I listend to the audiobook and while I enjoyed the male narrator, I didn't love the female narrator's "male" voices. At times the voices were distractingly bad.

4.5 Dominic Talking Sexy Italian Stars
* * * * 1/2 Spoiler Free- 2014 Review
Ok, I am going to keep this as short and sweet as I can... If I did Photos and Gifs, you would have picture after picture of a man who oozed sensuality... who would make you need to do laundry 24/7 because your hormones would be on overdrive. I would have gifs of hands caressing limbs, and lips whispering into ears, and all of that stuff just to let you know how powerful the draw Dominic could weave by just talking to you...

But I don't do those things...I do the laundry....not the photos, etc....

Here is the thing about this book and the end of this series; it has been a sweet romance for me.
I have had my ups and downs with it but throughout my journey, the Montgomerys have been a fantasy family with football, movie, and rock stars. It has had strong women and gorgeous men being there for each other through all types of trauma. The parents have held together through their own weak periods, only to stay the course and be supportive always. There have been wonderful sexy times and humor.

So, this fond farewell was almost perfect and the stars go for letting us experience Dominic and his passion. For giving us a terrific epilogue and for all the good times I had when Ms. Proby got it right.

She has teased us with her new series in New Orleans...and I am sure I will become well versed with the Big Easy.

JOKE ON ME... The Series Continued!!!

When Dominic first appeared in one of the books, I was too busy getting happy with Jules and Nate when she announced to the family that she was pregnant.
Sorry, Dom, my mistake!
But then Dom appeared more times and was winning all the Montgomery family.
Of course, when his and Alecia turn came, I was totally enchanted by the charming with blue eyes Italian.

Alecia wasn't easy to agree to go out with him for the first time. Their attraction pure chemistry since the first moment. But he is part of the family who were the best Alecia's customers she couldn't mix business and pleasure.

But when it all began, was a volcanic explosion.
But when family problems lead Dominic to travel to Italy after a fight between them because of a poorly explained situation, could all be over in a flash.
Which one would be willing to swallow their pride and admit that together they were much happier?

A series that captivated me from the book #2 (Nate again!). Every new release I found myself in the middle of Montgomery smiling with each of them winning or getting sad when something was wrong.
A family that we will miss.
The last chapter brought me to tears. Perfect ending.

I find myself a bit on the emotional side with the end of this series! 8 Books filled with laughs, love and heat. Kristen Proby's With Me series is my little guilty pleasure of cheesy hot love tales...and I mean that in a positive way!

Here we have the final the member of the "hot bunch"...Dominic Salvatore...the illegitimate son, but welcomed step brother. He is an Italian dream. He is sweet, sensual and oh so romantic. He is down right hot...

For those who have followed the ups and downs, they you are familiar with party planner extraordinaire Alecia! She has been a fixture in the storylines and she has caught Dom's eye. Oh, but Alecia is not an easy one to catch. She has some serious baggage and intimacy issues. Sex, good old fashion lust you say? She is all in with getting horizontal with Dom! But...

Come on...how can she not fall when this smooth talking, fine specimen of a man when he is whispering sweet words as these:

“I’ve been slowly falling for you for a long time, and I’m afraid I fell the rest of the way in love with you last night, and you’re so much more than my darling. You’re my treasure.”

Oh well...we all knew Kristen Proby was gonna bring the heat! Thank you I say...it was much appreciated and a welcome back from the past 2 books that I found to be so-so. Dom and Alecia's tale, was fast and romantic. I cant lie, I liked it. I liked it a lot! The whole story, including all the couples from the past was the perfect bittersweet conclusion. What a great job she did bringing everyone full circle and together.

Thank you Kristen Proby for giving me the Montgomery Men, The Williams Family, oh and Nate McKenna! I will hold each near and dear to my heart!

3 ½ stars – Contemporary/Erotic Romance

This had so much potential, especially with a dreamy, swoonalicious, besotted, and doting Italian gentleman alpha hero like Dominic, but sadly, it was my least favorite of the series. I just didn’t feel any real connection (beyond sex) between Dom and Alecia, and she was somewhat annoying and bitchy. Also, the big misunderstanding and miscommunication felt too contrived. But I love this series, so I enjoyed catching up with the other couples and the fabulous, heartfelt epilogue.

Ok so I did love Dom, hands down he's such a sweetheart. I enjoyed reading about Alecia and Dom, and the rest of the gang.

Though I must say... the drunk girls always having the topic of orgasms when their drunk does get a little overdone and repetitive. I mean can't they talk about something else??

That little misunderstanding at the end did kind of bother me though.

Spoilers ahead*****

Ok so Alecia and her bestest friend/ bff/ ex sex friend, Blake, went on a run, went back to Alecia's apartment so that she could take a shower. Dom walks in and sees a half naked Blake on the couch and Alecia is coming out of the bathroom just in a towel. Now if I were Dom I would have made the same assumption that Alecia cheated. And then Alecia got all mad that he jumped to conclusions, but you have to admit you can't help but think that when your seeing what he is seeing.

What bothered me though was that Alecia just didn't tell him the truth, that she didn't sleep with Blake....at that moment. He asked her if she slept with him and she basically avoided the answer, continuing to get mad at him for jumping to conclusions. I'm sure she would have made the same assumption if she were in his shoes. It was like she was too proud to apologize.

Even Blake said it looked bad!!! Come one as if that isn't enough incentive to go find Dom and talk it out.

Oh, and I'm sorry even if the epilogue was in his POV I still can't really get over what Daddy Montgomery did in the past. Yes, it's 30 years ago, but I'm sorry it just seems wrong. His decision to sleep with another woman was extremely selfish on account of both women. Gail (his wife) was cheated on, sure they were separated, but they were married MARRIED. And Dom's mom had to raise Dom all by herself because she didn't want to break up a marriage. Which she didn't find out that he was married and had kids until AFTER he slept with her.

but when Dom called daddy Montgomery out on bouncing from women to women

amen...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
aaaah Dominic, the bastard child. Game of Thrones fan!!! Hope saying "bastard child" doesn't offend anyone cause that's what he is. A child that basically came from illicit affair.

The fact that Daddy Montgomery had an affair still is a big shocker for me.

Writing this review is EXTREMELY bittersweet for me; I've been dreading this day since I think Rock With Me lol. This series is a favorite and these characters have become like family to me so writing this has me feeling...

I don't even know if I can really talk about Forever With Me to be honest. I've tried to write this review for about three weeks now, and each time I'd sit down to write it, I'd start crying thinking about the words I read. Kristen did an amazing job ending this series on a high note. I loved Dom's smooth, confident, demeanor, plus he's plain old sexy! Alecia, as we all know, from the previous books is cool, collected and one helluva party planner. She's also kind of stubborn lol. Thankfully, Dom doesn't let a little thing like stubbornness deter him. I need a Dom, I want a Dom *sigh*

More than anything, I don't want to say good-bye this series.

I loved every minute and every word here. I felt like I needed to read slow and savor it, hoping to make it last. Dom and Alecia made me laugh, fan myself and cry; But lets be honest, almost all FWM made me a crying, snotting mess. We've got our trademark scenes with our Seattle ladies and there's a scene with just the men that I ADORED! I loved the banter between the brothers and brothers-in-law. You just have to read this, on release day. OH and that epilogue- total fist in my mouth to quiet my sobs moment.

Thank you, Kristen. Thank you for giving us these characters who, with each book, embedded themselves a little deeper into our hearts where we'll always keep them <3

Forever with Me is the final book in the With Me in Seattle series, I have loved each and every couple and their own love story.

Alicia has been working for the Montgomery / Williams clan for two years arranging all the parties and family gatherings and now it is her turn to get her own hot man Domonic Salvatore. Alicia is a strong independent woman who love's the gang but she hasn't had much love in her life.

Domonic is the Montgomery's half brother all the family have welcomed him into the fold, he has asked Alicia out a few times but she always declined. Domonic is a hot sexy sweet Italian who can be bossy. I love his relationship with his brothers and sisters.

Alicia is arranging Will and Meg's wedding which is taking place at Dom's Vineyard while staying there things hot up between Dom and Alicia.

As always expect lots of panty melting moments, funny banter especially when the gang are all together which I love in this series, no major drama for these two only a misunderstanding which leads to some heartache.

I loved that we get the wedding as Will is my favorite brother and I loved the epilogue catching up with all the gang and all their kids, one of the best epilogues I have read.

I love Kristen Proby she is one of my favorite authors and I am never disappointed with her books.

GOODBYE Williams's, McKenna's, Montgomery's, Nash's and Salvatore's

The final book in the With Me in Seattle series, and I’m still not ready to say goodbye! I love this family, and each of these books is the literary equivalent to a fluffy blanket – total comfort reading. They are sweet, funny, romantic and sexy with great characters and an extended family that I want to be a part of. And I really enjoyed this last instalment which gives us the story of Dominic and Alecia.

Dominic is a late addition to the family. He was discovered as the son of Stephen Montgomery earlier in the series, and has been effortlessly welcomed into the fold. A highly successful vineyard owner, he splits his time between Seattle and his other family in Italy, and has been a bit of a mystery up until now. Alecia has also appeared in a few of the earlier books - she is the fabulous event planner that everybody in the family goes to for every wedding, party, and other special event. There’s been something brewing between Dome and Alecia two of them for a while, but it’s not until this book that we see just hot enamoured they are with each other. Their chemistry is electric, but as much as Dom has pursued Alecia in the past, she has always pushed him away. But all of that is about to change.

I’m in way over my head. And I don’t want to be saved.

Alecia has never known love and has issues with ‘happy ever after’. She has been fighting her feelings for Dom for a long time, but the persistent and sexy Italian proves to be absolutely irresistible and she is powerless against him - and no woman alive would blame her!

“I recognised you, and I’d never seen you before. My body yearns for you. I can’t get enough of your laughter. And if I don’t get my hands in your fucking hair right now, I’ll go out of my fucking mind.”

Dom in full on seduction mode is a sight to behold. The man is amazingly romantic. The way he woos Alecia is beautiful – he takes care of her, he treats and pampers her, giving her everything she’s never had in her life before. And all the while he is watching the way she reacts to him so that he doesn’t move too fast or freak her out. Alecia occasionally needs as push, and he’s not afraid to give that to her, and get him in the bedroom, and he’s a controlling sex-God with some caveman tendencies. Just like the rest of the men in this series - he’s the total hot and swoony package!

“I’ve been slowly falling for you for a long time, and I’m afraid I fell the rest of the way in love with you last night, and you’re so much more than my darling. You’re my treasure.”

I really enjoyed how quickly things between Dom and Alecia progressed. Once they finally took that first step, there were no games, they were just ‘together’. But Alecia is terrified of all that she is feeling, and as perfect as Dom may seem, he is also nursing some issues from his past, so it’s not all smooth sailing and there are some misunderstandings and angst on the way to their happy ending. But I loved the way it was all dealt with, and the ending left me with a big smile on my face as always.

“Romance isn’t about proving to someone you love them with flowers and greeting cards and chocolate. Or even a lock on a fence. It’s a daily reminder. It’s saying, I choose you. Today and every day.”

One of the things I love most about these books is the family time. The extended Montgomery/Williams families are an incredible bunch! Unquestionably loving and supportive of each other, they are extremely close and the best of friends. Each of the couples from the previous books make appearances in the story, and when the whole lot of them get together, it’s hilarious – teasing, banter, sex talk and general bullshitting. It’s always great fun – especially when the girls are drunk and the talk turns to orgasms.

“Orgasms … nature’s way of saying, ‘Yeah, life sucks ass, but here, have some candy.”

I especially liked that a large focus of this book was around the wedding of one of my favourite couples from the series, and I loved getting to see the two of them have their special moment.

I’m so sad that this series is over, but I have loved each and every one of these books and will definitely be rereading them in the future (Will and Caleb in particular will be getting revisited :P). And bonus points to Ms Proby for giving us an epilogue set 10 years into the future, giving us a great glimpse of the whole family together – perfect for hopeless saps such as myself.

I loved it - 4 stars.

If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly recommend you give these books a try! There’s nothing new in the storyline, and they are a little bit cheesy at times, but Kristen Proby makes it work, and if you’re looking for a feel-good romance with great family dynamics, hot sex, a strong heroine and a swoonily romantic and slightly dominant hero – these books are for you!

Couldn't really relate to the heroine--I found her a little cold and she had too much of a potty mouth. For some reason she annoyed me...I did love the hero though. Too bad this mostly excellent series ended on a meh note. 3 1/2 stars

Dominic Salvatore es todo un galán!! Un empresario exitoso, con un viñedo propio, lo tiene todo... la apariencia, el sexy acento italiano que hace que las mujeres se rindan a sus pies... bueno, todas menos la que él quiere...

“Intimacy is who you wake up thinking about at three in the morning, It’s talking about your hopes and fears in the dark. It’s the one person you give your undivided attention to when ten other people are fighting for it. It’s that person, always in the back of your mind, no matter how distracted you are.”

4 to 4.5 Italian Dominic Salvatore hot stars!

What a final Italian hottie to have as a closure to this great series!

Seriously so many hot testosterone cavemen paired off to wonderful, strong, smart & beautiful women, which Kristen Proby pulls off brilliantly.

I loved this series, they are light romantic, feel happy novels. Each character has a little something as part of their pasts. But you'll thoroughly enjoy their path from page one to the end.

Only suggestion I have is don't read the series in one hit. Enjoy each novel in between other books that you are reading.

I'm so looking forward to the next Boudreaux series

Forever With Me by Kristen Proby

“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, tesoro.”

4.5 stars
As I opened this book, the first thought that entered my mind was “there is nothing like a Proby book."

The dialogue Ms. Proby crafts is so rich and engaging; it’s like the reader is a fly on the wall. She truly pulls the reader into this world. There were many times in this book, I felt like I was in the room with this cast of characters.

I want to pause for a moment and say I love the With Me in Seattle series; if you have not read this series, I highly recommend you pick up book 1, Come Away with Me, which is currently Free. And I recommend you read the series prior to reading this final book as much of the story is a build on things from prior books.

Now, Forever with me; readers met Dominic Salvatore in a prior book in the series as the illegitimate son of Steve Montgomery, one of the patriarchs in this series. While Alecia is an event planner who is seen in many of the prior books.

The hints are a connection between these two come to life in Forever with Me as Dominic’s Vineyard Cuppa di Vita is the site for the wedding of Will and Meg (Play with Me) and Alecia is the event planner for this grand wedding.

OK another pause, I love Will; I love Will HARD; the reader is again reminded how playful Will is and how he adores Meg and would give her the world if he could; this football star again stole my heart (PS I LOVED Will in the epilogue too).

Back to the story...Dominic and Alecia’s professional relationship blends into a hot personal one with some help from Jules and Natalie, Dominic’s “sisters”. The evolution of their relationships, the breaking through of pain from the past made for a wonderful read.

The use of the whole cast throughout this book not only warmed my heart but also created a family for Dominic and Alecia; families both of them deserved. There is a scene with Dominic and Steve towards the end that truly touched my heart.

The epilogue of this book was just WOW! It was truly the cherry on top of an amazing series!

The voice used was NEW to the series and made for the perfect ending to a wonderful journey with this cast of characters that will forever live in my heart.
