4 Colton Owns Your Ass stars!
After reading Filthy Beautiful Lies I’ve been dying to get my hands on this sequel. I had to know what happened between Colton and Sophie! When this pretty little thing appeared on my kindle, I had to drop all and read it!
When we last saw Colton and Sophie, Sophie was fleeing the scene after learning a big secret about Colt. Even though she’s the one that ran, she misses him.
Colton needs to find Sophie, to get her to listen. He needs to explain. He can’t stand being without her.
Colton Drake is so alpha, but he also has a sweet side. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to get Sophie back. I love that he’s that devoted to her. Sophie has those feelings for Colton, too. She just can’t risk getting hurt by him. She can’t be with someone she can’t trust. Until she can learn to trust him again, he’ll have to settle with just being her friend.
But it’s so hard not to cross that friend line when there is so much chemistry and attraction between the two of them.
There was some major sexual tension going on in the first part of this book. The anticipation of what was about to go down kept me on my toes.
If you’ve ever read a Kendall Ryan book, you know that she is an expert when it comes to writing steamy and sultry scenes. Colton Drake may be her hottest hero yet. His mind is a fabulous place to be. I looked forward to and devoured every chapter from his perspective. He is a sexy as hell, dominate hero with a heart of gold.
Sophie is a heroine you can’t help but love. She’s caring, she’s selfless and she’s kind. But she doesn’t let everyone walk all over her. I love her for that. She was able to show Colton Drake that not every woman only wanted him for his money or his status. Sophie wanted Colton for the man that he was and she proved it to him.
Sophie and Colton have a lot to work through. Earning trust when you’ve been burned before is not an easy thing to do. Their relationship wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t easy, but it was real.
Filthy Beautiful Love was the perfect mix of sweet, steamy, and emotional. Kendall always writes the hottest stuff- this was no exception. What I wasn’t expecting was to cry. There was a part towards the end that hit me right in the feels. I think it’s great that it’s not just a hot and sexy book. There are layers to the story, emotions and obstacles to overcome. Overall, I loved the way Sophie and Colton’s story concluded. I’m so freaking excited that there is going to be a Pace book! I love him and I’m sure its going to be amazing!

5 Beautiful Stars
This is the conclusion of Colton and Sophie’s story. It begins with Sophie in Europe with her sister and Colton pining for her.
Sophie knows she has fallen in love with Colton, but trusting him isn’t going to come easy. Colton is up for the challenge, because he knows he has found a woman who is selfless, giving, and loving. She is nothing like Stella and he can’t lose her. So Colton offers her a proposition she can’t refuse: stay with him as friends and continue to build a life for herself.
I loved this idea and found it entertaining that they thought this would work…obviously it doesn’t. Soon enough they are back together and things finally heat up between these two.
I loved the conclusion of their story, the preview into Pace’s life, and the heart behind this story. Colton was the perfect book boyfriend, he was so sweet, caring, and sexy as sin. He really proved that his love for Sophie was real and he was in it for the long haul. This is a very sweet heartwarming story, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I fell hard for Colton and Sophie's story in the first book, Filthy Beautiful Lies. It was very compelling to watch Sophie's sacrifice to save her sister turn into an unexpected romance with the man who purchased her. And when a secret from Colton's past surfaced and led a HUGE cliffhanger, I was pretty desperate to read Filthy Beautiful Love to see if their relationship could survive.

After learning about his secret, Sophie fled from Colton with the intention of never looking back. He broke her heart and her trust so why does she miss him so much?
"I miss Colton's bed, his scent, the feel of his rough stubble against my cheek when we kissed. I miss everything about him. Just as we'd started to grow close, everything I'd come to love was ripped away from me, leaving a gaping hole in my chest."
Colton, on the other hand, can't imagine his life without Sophie and refuses to let her go without a fight. He isn't going to let the emotional baggage from his past stop him from pursuing a relationship with Sophie. She belongs to him and he is going to do whatever it takes to prove that to her.
Sophie is strong, completely selfless when it comes to her family, she's compassionate, and loves fiercely. Trust is very important to her and she can't be in a relationship without it. Even though I LOVE Colton, I really admired the fact that Sophie refused to just let him back into her life. He will have to earn her trust before he can win back her heart.
Colton... Colton... Colton... I didn't think it was possible but Filthy Beautiful Love made me fall even more in love with him <333 He's sexy, charming, will turn you on with his dirty talk, and is the definition of an alpha male. While I love all of these characteristics in a guy, what really won me over was his devotion to Sophie and seeing the lengths he would go to in order to prove his love for her *swoon*
An aspect of this book that I really appreciated was the depth at which we got to know some of the side characters. Becca, Sophie's sister, plays a bigger role in this story and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know her. She has such a bright personality, is full of laughs, and has an enthusiasm for life that you will find contagious. It is easy to see why Sophie would be willing to sacrifice so much for her sister.

Filthy Beautiful Love solidified this series as one of my favorite reads of 2014. I absolutely adore Sophie and Colton and thought this was the perfect conclusion to their story. I think that readers will be surprised by the direction that Kendall Ryan took aspects of this story and the amount of emotion it will invoke. If you have yet to start this series, I really can't recommend it enough! It is a unique story, with characters that you can't help but love, and enough sexual tension to make you wonder if you will spontaneously combust ;) ;)

3.75 I didn't expect to cry STARS
Here we are again and dear Sophie still has problems. Fortunately they are not of the monetary nature this time around. Her sister's cancer treatment is well under way and paid for.
Still girlfriend has problems...she happens to be in love with Colton who happens to be married...oh and she still is a virgin. That's got to be a drag at her age. But we'll take care of that in a minute, right? Just has to get back with the beautiful hunk.
What can I say? For the most part the second instalment of Sophie and Colton's story was very predictable and boring. Of course they get together again...*duh* and I don't consider that a spoiler, it's in the damn title. Seriously.
What we get is a sweet love story, a little cheesy and whole lot of vanilla. Maybe my head is all screwed up, but 'filthy'...yeah not so much. I also don't understand how people can label this series as BDSM...I'm judging you!!
I loved how her twin sister Becca plays a bigger role in this one and damn she is the ultimate fangirl. She is shipping Sophie with Colton like no one else. And I have to say the whole Stella (that's the wife/ex-wife) story was a bit pointless and could have been used and explored in another way...I think.
But I have to say the best and most heartbreaking part starts at about 70%...get some tissues!!!
All in all it is a well written sweet little story, nothing too exciting, but I'm looking forward to see what happens with Pace and Kylie.

4 STARS!
Genre: Contemporary Romance
I laughed, I swooned and when hit with a devastating blow I even got a little misty eyed.
I was super excited to jump back in to this story. I was equally excited that author Kendall Ryan did not keep readers waiting!
Filthy Beautiful Love picks up just a few weeks after where book one ended. It was evident by the end of Filthy Beautiful lies that Colton held strong feelings for Sophie after spending so much time getting to actually know her. Those feelings were very much mutual. Of course it was only fitting that book two starts with him showing that he won’t easily let Sophie go.
“It’s taking every ounce of self-control I have to not push my hips into hers and claim her mouth. I know I’ve lost the right, but my body refuses to understand that” -Colton
Colton Drake is a taker and he goes after what he wants even if he has to chase her halfway around the world. Sophie is reluctant and is hurt by what happened in book one and rightfully so. Yet, Colton is quick to acknowledge it with an earnest apology somewhat reluctantly agreeing that she just needs time.
Sweetness...
It’s not long before these two not only find their way back to one another but when they do it’s on a more intimate level. They fall back in to a comfortable routine as things not only heat up...their relationship seems to also become very serious as they explore each other in new ways. However, not all goes according to plan. The couple soon find themselves facing something no one wants to face.
As Sophie spirals into a dark depression, Colton realizes that things may be worst than he first perceived. He has to bring his sweetness back. He needs his Sophie.

My Thoughts
The story is told in dual pov's which I love. You get a sexy alpha male, a sweet heroine who stands for what she wants and is fiercely independent. As well as a good dose of secondary characters and a promise of what's to come!
This was a pretty quick read; it held a few jaw droppers too, some good-some bad. I am a Kendall Ryan fan so I knew she would bring it! I enjoyed every second! I look forward to Pace’s book!

4 Beautiful Loving Stars.
This second installment stars a few days after the end of the last one, and after Sophie had run away from Colton, when she found out what he was keeping from her. She decides to clear her head in Italy with her sister, but Colton his decided to fight for her and goes after her.
He wants to sort his problems and he wants Sophie with him, and this time his willing to do everything to get her: including demand the rest of their contract.
This second book was even sweeter than the first, and luckily with more steam when Sophie finally changes her initial status. There was some really sad moments but we also had some really delightful ones and it was well balanced. I would be gladder if it had been more of their relationship development in the end, but I believe we’ll see more of them in the next books so it’s all good. It was a nice ending to a sweet story.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: Colton was good in this one. I liked how he fought for Sophie. And Sophie was nice, but I really hoped she had kept him in the dog house longer. After all, he hide a pretty big thing for her. I loved, LOVED his brothers, I can’t wait to read their books.

I would be gladder if it had been more of their relationship development in the end, but I believe we’ll see more of them in the next books so it’s all good. It was a nice ending to a sweet story.

Characters Development: Colton was good in this one. I liked how he fought for Sophie. And Sophie was nice, but I really hoped she had kept him in the dog house longer. After all, he hide a pretty big thing for her. I loved, LOVED his brothers, I can’t wait to read their books.

This was a 2.5 stars for me... I don't know if it is because I'm on holidays; but I had a hard time getting into it and feeling any kind of empathy for the characters...when I get home will write more!! ;-)

It was beautiful story of love,honesty,loss and trust. The story picks up where Colton chasing and longing for Sophie who run away when the wife of Colton showed up. I loved how Sophie thinks everything about her love and relationship with Colton. Colton, in the other hand, was really a "additively filthy alpha male". I fell in love with him all over the story. The way he took care of everything specially when Sophie needed most, sooooo sweet.
The ending was okay for me but I expected more of the story. But thank God it was less angst and more sexy times,

'Filthy Beautiful Love' continues the story of Colton and Sophie, following the big reveal of Colton's secret marriage. Predictably, Sophie leaves Colton and he sets out to win her affections again. I don't think anyone will be surprised with this storyline or ending. However, that's not to say that it isn't a worthwhile book.
Colton and Sophie seem to have a sweet, straightforward romance. Their story is heartwarming and makes me smile. Sometimes, you need to take a break from the suspense, high drama, and plot twists and just enjoy a great story! This was one of those warm and fuzzy books for me. Despite touching lightly upon a few taboo topics, this series has an overall light and wholesome feel to me.
Don't get me wrong...these two really tear it up in the bedroom! They have excellent chemistry that makes for some really hot sex and will keep your eyes glued to the pages. Yet, what I found most compelling was the love and respect they had for one another. It was nice to read a story where the main characters cherished each other so much.

It was okay. I didn't love it... I didn't hate it. To be honest, I really wanted to read this book to get closure since the 1st book was such a cliffhanger. You don't have to read very long before finding the closure. After that, it was just pretty... blah... for me. Yes, there was more to their story. Yes, there were some steamy scenes. Yes, there is a finish to their story. But, meh... for me I just needed to save myself from the the cliff and that was all. Accomplished in the first little bit of the book and after that I was just reading on autopilot.
Will I read book #3 centered around Pace and Kylie... no. But, not because of Kendall Ryan's writing. I personally just don't like my romance reads to involve parents with kids. Just me. I might skip book #3 and move on to book #4... Collins story.

Colton & Sophie’s story concludes in book two of this series. Having discovered Colton’s secret, Sophie runs. Now that her sister has undergone a round of treatment, they are off to Rome – but Colton’s chase of the woman paid a million dollars to defile brings these two face to face once again.
When Sophie returns to California, knowing the truth of his relationship with Stella she has a choice to make. She’s fallen in love with the man who lost the ability to trust any woman not to use him to get what they want. In order to move forward they both must trust blindly. Sophie wants Colton to let go of his past and take back his future, but he can’t do that until he knows that Sophie is willing to stick by his side.
I enjoyed the conclusion to their story, although I found that the buildup from book one rated higher for me as a reader, I loved getting complete closure to their relationship. The supporting characters of this series stood out. One in particular... Pace. We are given a small taste of where he story is going to go and I although we see various options, I am so excited for the direction that Filthy Beautiful Lust will take. We’ll get a taste of an angsty reformed playboy that I have a feeling will have one helluva fight on his hands when it comes to convincing a certain lady of his true intentions.
BFL had moments of humor, sexiness and heartbreak. I did not expect the turn that this story took but having had a few days to think it all over, I think it was needed. There are times when everything needs to be packaged into a neat little box with a pretty bow, but sometimes they have to realistic and leave you feeling a bit raw.
As a whole, I adored these two books. As I read these, it brought me back to my early days of reading romance when I picked up Unravel Me and was captivated by a unique story. In the midst of all the books, new authors and addiction to one-clicking, reading another title from this author felt like coming home.
Although we have Pace’s story lined up... there is still Collins. Yep, he may have a girl... but we haven’t really gotten any insight into his relationship with her. Will their story be next? Will a new woman be introduced to steal him away???? Finishing this made me crave the next book in this series, not only the next book – but the ones that will come after that... ones you don’t even know exist.

The story picks up where Filthy Beautiful Lies left off. Colton has a wife and Sophie is devastated. Sophie goes to Rome with her sister to recoup and get over Colton.
However, Colton, just can’t stay away
I really enjoyed Filthy Beautiful Lies and I really enjoyed Filthy Beautiful Love. I think it’s because all of my expectations were met. There wasn’t any dragged out parts, no annoying characters, but plenty of tension to keep me interested.
Sophie is heart-broken and when Colton shows up to Rome, she doesn’t know what to do. Her mind and body are telling her two different things. I really like Sophie and I’m glad she hasn’t changed from the previous book. I just hate it when the heroine becomes crazy in the second book. Sophie is pretty level headed.
Colton is in the dog house and how does he get himself out of this situation? Well for starters he does what most people with common sense do, he tries to explain his situation. I really like this. I feel like a lot of times miscommunication is the most used up plot in books.
Colton continues to pursue Sophie and Sophie continues to comes to terms with her feelings. It’s a really sweet read and you will fall in love with the characters.
We also get a glimpse of the side characters and future book and let me just say this, I LOVE SINGLE MOM BOOKS.

Filthy Beautiful Lies had me surprisingly hooked. Filthy Beautiful Love, on the other hand, just had me bummed. I was hoping for a bit more drama, more chaos, maybe a cat fight or two between Sophia and Stella. It would have been nice to see these two interact... or something. Anything. It all just seemed anticlimactic. Even Sophia and Colton eventually getting back together seemed a bit boring. Where was the struggle? Let's see a heartbroken Colton. Let's see him in some pain. Come on! Even the big moment of drama failed to hit the mark with me. I didn't really feel anything, and it took me just two or so hours to read. Big bummer.

After the cliffhanger at the end of book 1, I was very keen to get my hand in this book and I wasn't disappointed. It was nice to see Colton's and Sophie's relationship progress, overall I found it a nice easy read.

Oh goodness, this series undoes me. Sophie and Colton's story is so unique and awesome that I just can't even with it. I only wish this one had been a bit longer so we got more of their story :) However, I'm stoked that Pace is next, as he is in his own category and totally awesome.
So while Sophie and Colton's story has come to a "close," I am hoping we get some glances as we dive into Pace's story to see how they are. However, now I'm on to see how this new couple fares!

Filthy Beautiful Love is the second installment of the Filthy Beautiful Lies series. In this, you will re-meet Colton and Sophie. Yeah, their story has continued. Mostly because Sophie ran away from Colton - this sort of things happens a lot when smut is involved in a book. This is mostly because of a huge misunderstanding. Again, miscommunication happens a lot in romance books.
Okay so I am still in love with this couple. I didn't really care for the whole cat and mouse kind of game though. I just think couples need to talk so that secrets don't stay hidden and make the other person do something predictable, like leave. Of course after shit hit the fan for these two, Colton had to earn her trust back. It wasn't easy but they still loved each other.
Besides all of that, the romance was there! So much sexual tension and the smut was good too! I definitely fell in love with this series, like I've mentioned in one or two of the reviews for this series. Again, I read these in order... but wrote the reviews out of order.

This is book 2 in the Filthy Beautiful Lies series and after that riveting ending in Filthy Beautiful Lies I couldn’t wait to get comfy and see what shenanigans this book would pose.
Overall, I liked Filthy Beautiful Love slightly better than Filthy Beautiful Lies as now the secret is exposed and Colton and Sophie had to come to terms with and redefine their relationship. In this installment we saw Colton let down his walls and open himself up to Sophie. We also got to see how Sophie dealt with all the women in Colton’s life and feelings of inadequacies. When all the drama finally subsided you were left with a normal everyday couple with a unique beginning.
If I had to pick a favorite character(s) in this book it would be a tossup between Sophie’s sister Becca and Colton’s brother Pace with Becca just edging out Pace. Both characters are bold, unfiltered and live life to the fullest which I like. They’re also their siblings anchor.
Filthy Beautiful Love had a few beautiful and loving scenes involving Sophie/Becca, Sophie alone, and Sophie, Colton, & Pace that had me choked up. I’ll always remember Sophie and Becca whenever I see pink Skittles.
Filthy Beautiful Love is a more honest look at Colton’s life and the people in it. I have to say, he learned that honesty is the best policy. This book shows how much he loves Sophie and any employee or person that threathens his relationship with Sophie... watch out cause
As with Filthy Beautiful Lies there are things that bothered me: how Sophie lost her virginity , quid pro quo feel proving trust/love for one another, and some parts of the storyline just didn’t feel cohesive to me. Other than that this was an entertaining read. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into book 3, Filthy Beautiful Lust which is Pace’s story.

Tenia unas ganas increibles de leer esta segunda parte, sobre todo despues de leer el final de Filthy Beautiful Lies.
Tenia unas expectativas muy altas y reconozco que la historia no fue todo lo que esperaba, pero eso no quiere decir que no sea un libro bastante entretenido, simplemente al ser una continuacion no tuvo tanta emocion como el primero.
Este segundo libro de la saga sigue estando muy bien narrado y esta escrito de una forma muy impresionante, pero esperaba que Kendall Ryan tomara otra direccion con la trama.
Recomiendo esta saga : es entretenida, corta y muy interesante!
Despues del pequeño avance que nos muestra este libro, tengo unas ganas inmensas de leer la historia de Pace y Kylie!

The second part of Colton and Sophie's story was, like the first book, uninspiring. I felt like I was going insane with boredom.
I may want to read about Pace and Kylie. She seems to have a little more grit and Pace sounds like a hottie.
