Ougi-sensei really knows how to bring the hot. Her stuff be very OTT, and I’m a fan of all the pretty. Brother is a bit tabooish, but not so taboo because they aren’t related by blood.

Still fun and enjoyable to pass the time.

Lo empecé y lo dejé a medias porque es malo con avaricia.

Trata de dos "hermanos" que se vieron obligados a vivir juntos al conocerse y casarse sus padres. Ambos se llevaban genial hasta que ya un poco más crecidos se quedan encerrados en un armario y la tensión hace que los dos no vuelvan a hablarse y sufran de impotencia (jajaja). Se reencuentran cinco años después, se acuestan y se hacen novios.

Es una historia sin trama, muy simplona, muy bruta, que solo muestra sexo y del feo. Y ya está. Me aburria mucho y me daba repelús como solo había sexo bruto entre ambos u.u.

Unfortunetly I can only read the scans for this one. I would love to get a paper copy but its expensive since its out of print and in demand. Sexy yaoi and the mangaka is not shy about drawing very graphic scenes (meh heh). Great funny and romantic story!

I seem to have a thing for Yaoi--Boys Love--and since I like my M/M Romances, why wouldn't I?

This was kinda cute once it got going. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like but once I started it, I fell into it.

To me, it read like a typical M/M Romance--a friends to lovers sort of thing, only they were step brothers.

I just have to admit I like to see it happen, because I don't always have the best imagination with books, I don't picture my characters in my head like others do. So having the comic strip helps me a lot.

Off to start Brother 2 to see if it's as good as this one.

This is the story of how two stepbrothers, 22 year old Asuka and 17 year old Yui, became lovers. It is well written with plenty of steamy uncensored lovemaking scenes between the two. I enjoyed it so much that once I finished it I had to start over and read it again 😉! If taboo romances don't bother you I highly recommend this one. I bought mine from rightstuf but it's also available from Amazon.

Nasty yaoi I found at Half Price Books because I am God's favorites pervert. 

Stepbrothers have near death experiences and then fuck like rabbits, but with some fairly thoughtful plot points about what the relationship means outside of the awesome sex, and whether it should be pursued to something more. I was happy to come across yaoi that isn't censored and that also the dick anatomy looked really good. (Real ones know, ok?)

A solid read if you come across it, but not really anything to track down unless you have a thing about taboo/incest.

3.5 stars. Funny, touching, a quirky plot (but then, so is the subject matter of two step-brothers falling for each other). The art is okay, quite explicit. A fun read that often repeats at the start of each "chapter" to tell you what is what, and maybe a tiny bit rushed near the end.

2.5 stars rounded up. This was neither humorous enough nor melodramatic enough to invest me in its stories or characters at more than surface level. It wasn't bad, just kind of average. I'd recommend Ougi's other English title, Rising Storm, over this, but this one was still somewhat enjoyable.

Step sibling tropes have never really been my thing. This one was in the middle of the road, the story was better than some of the others I have read. It had a good amount of drama between them to keep you interested.

Bercerita tentang Momoki Asuka, pria 22 tahun yang bekerja disebuah biro iklan, dan Momoki Yui, seorang bintang tenis tenar sekaligus adik tiri Asuka yang masih berusia 17 tahun. Awal cerita diketahui Asuka sudah memiliki masalah: ia masih perjaka dan yang lebih buruk lagi ia memiliki masalah seksual seperti impoten dalam beberapa tahun ini. Pendek kata ia menyalahkan hal buruk yang terjadi dengan dirinya berhubungan dengan Yui di masa lalu. Hubungan adik kakak pun merenggang seiring kesibukan dan kepopuleran Yui makin bertambah sehingga ia memutuskan untuk bersekolah di amerika.

2 tahun berselang Yui kembali ke jepang dan bertemu kembali dengan Asuka. Kepulangannya yang tiba tiba bukan tanpa sebab karna pada saat yang sama ia hendak mengkonfrontir Asuka tentang permasalahan mereka di masa lalu serta mengungkapkan perasaannya selama ini. Ajaibnya, impotensi Asuka langsung sembuh seketika!

Semenjak itu hubungan Asuka dan Yui berlanjut ke tahap yang lebih serius dan mereka harus mengalami berbagai permasalahan layaknya pasangan normal yang lain, seperti kecanggungan saat melakukan hubungan sex karna keduanya menyadari mereka adalah bersaudara, saling berusaha menemukan cukup waktu agar bisa berduaan saja serta serius menjalin cinta lebih yang dari sekedar seks.

Asuka sendiri cenderung bereaksi berlebihan setiap kali Yui menunjukan perhatian dan kasih sayangnya, tapi Yui tetaplah Yui, seorang remaja yang cool, berkepribadian dewasa dan sangat mencintai Asuka. Alhasil, saya bisa langsung nebak mana yang seme dan mana si uke. the older one is the uke and the younger one is the seme

Walau plot ceritanya klise dan somewhat familiar dgn drama taiwan yang pernah saya tonton beberapa tahun lalu yang ceritanya diambil dari tapi ini pertama kalinya saya membaca roman percintaan kakak-adik (yg tidak sedarah) dengan perasaan lega HEA. Ini menambah satu nilai plus dari saya setelah terakhir membaca dengan ending yang sampai sekarang lingering feeling-nya masih terasa, so.... sejak awal saya ngga terlalu berharap bakal berahir seperti ini.

Overall, its fascinating story.

Ougi-sensei has a very recognizable style: It is bright, clean and dramatic. Her artwork seems to sparkle sharply from the page.

The story of this manga was articulated with great punch. Not one 'useless' or 'why-the-heck-is-that-included' scene was presented: It was just bang-bang-bang on.

The angsty tension between Asuka and Yui is what makes this story so effective. The history they have together is made all that more powerful because of the way their memories are interspersed throughout the story.

PS: If you adore Yuzuha Ougi''s crisp art style, check out Masara Minase. You won't be disappointed.

This is one BL manga that I reread occasionally simple because it's quick, easy, and holy balls of hellfire manmusk, it makes me sweat! I love it; it's sheer sexiness with a bit of plot. Hot damn, it's sexy.

(This is also one of the infamous DramaQueen's spectacular failures: licensed and then locked up with them and never delivered. Thank the universe for scanlating fans, we have volume two.)

Not a fan, though if you asked I'd be hard pressed to explain why, exactly. The art isn't bad, not my favorite - the faces have tripped over that edge of being *too* long and pointy somehow - but since I can't draw a convincing stick figure I just roll with it.

The story is just…meh. Not enough actual sparks between the two characters, I think. And I'm all for random porn in these but there has to be some sort of believable attraction between the pair for me to get into it. I just didn't feel it in this book.
