I’ve looked forward to getting Scarlett’s story since the first book I read by Marni Mann. And man, she not disappoint. However I feel as if the story was too fast. But in saying that, It was short, quick, and sexy as hell. I just wish we got more to this hot, sex driven couple.
The Scarlett we got in the previous books, is nothing like we get in this one. Okay, maybe a bit. She’s still business driven, she doesn’t mess around with business. It’s in the bedroom she’s a different woman altogether. We get a new side of Scarlett and we also get Hudson. Mmmmmhmmmhmm. Oh yes we do and I have a feeling many of you won’t mind him at all 😍
Again, this is a very fast pace read, it’s like wham bam thank you ma’am style. Reading it all on an airplane ride home from vacation, that’s how quick 😉

Negotiated is a sizzling hot novella that is sure to get your blood pumping and good feelings brewing in all the right places. As one of the powerhouses of the agency, Scarlett has always had a way of dominating the business in the boardroom. But when she finds herself going head to head with Hudson she finds herself in a surprisingly compromising position. Hudson is a man who always gets what he wants. Whether it be the contract or the girl, he is ruthless in his pursuit. When it comes to Scarlett, Hudson wants to do both...settle the deal and keep the girl. But will she be able to trust him enough to allow him in?
Overall, Negotiated is an absolute must read for readers who enjoy a steamy novella with strong characters and a unique plot. I have enjoyed every single moment spent with these characters. Once again, Ms. Mann does not disappoint. If you are in the mood for some hot BDSM, look no further because Hudson is one dom you are going to want to submit to!

3.5 Something Missing Stars
When I see anything new out by Marni I get super excited.................
I will admit though that I do enjoy her darker writing more, all through Negotiated I was waiting for some big, dirty, nasty twist but alas it never happened. Don't get me wrong this was a fun, quick, hot read that I enjoyed for what it was. I just felt it was lacking the Marni Mann touch I am used to with her books.
Scarlett is headstrong and dominant when it comes to her career as CFO of The Agency she owns with her best friends. But when it comes to the bedroom Scarlett wants to let all that go and be 100% submissive and let someone else have all the responsibility for once.
Hudson is a hot shot lawyer who falls in insta-lust with Scarlett. Even though he is meant to be closing a business deal with her, he is after another kind of deal soon after meeting her.
As I said, this is a fun, quick read that had some light BDSM and some hot scenes it was just missing some depth to the plot.

I was so excited to get my hand on this book. So excited! And in my eagerness to give this story a fair shot, I didn't pay attention to any of the teasers leading up to its release. I even stayed away from Marni's Midnighters so that no one could possibly spoil it for me and I'm so glad I did. I really thought I had Scarlett figured out by getting the glimpses of her I got from the stories about her besties Brett, Jack and Max, but I was so wrong. Scarlett had a kinky secret and I had a blast learning all about it.
Scarlett and Hudson were so incredibly hot together. Being in control in virtually every aspect of her life, Scarlett was able to relinquish control to Hudson and each experience was sexier than the next. This story was shorter than expected but it was enjoyable and entertaining. There wasn't much in regards to character development or plot, but the eroticism was worth it 😘😘😘

4.5 just because I want more Hudson and Scarlett. I'm pretty sure I've been waiting on Scarlett's book since reading Signed, and good lord, it was worth the wait! Negotiated is the fourth book in Marni Mann's "agency" world. It reads perfectly as a standalone, or the ending to a hot as hell series. Marni delivers once again with the story, banter, and heat. Negotiated is not to be missed!
Scarlett is an independent woman that don't need no man. (I always wanted to say that.) She's got her best friends, her thriving business, and her personal desires that she likes to keep to herself and a select group of people. There's no need for relationships, only release. When she finds herself in a situation with the person she's negotiating her business' future with, however, the tides change and she's not going to be the same.
Hudson is a cut-throat lawyer. He'll stop at nothing to make a deal and he does just that to get Scarlett's attention. After one mistake on a crazy night, he doesn't know if he'll be back in her good graces but will go to great lengths to get there.
Again, I love this story. Only downside? It's a novella. I actually can't imagine what Marni would come up with though if this was a full length novel. It was so freaking hot, I was fanning myself! Once again, Marni, I am indebted to you. Congratulations!

A Marni Mann novel is legit a gift and one I can not wait to open and dive into. I absolutely loved the three previous books in The Agency series and could not wait to jump into Scarlett's story. And boy was it worth the wait! Hudson Jones was the perfect match for The Agency's Ladyboss and I for one could not get enough of them both!
When Scarlett Davis and attorney Hudson Jones initially meet the fireworks could not be denied. But when a misunderstanding comes between them, Hudson has to work extra hard to ensure that the woman who is his perfect match gives them a chance.
Gahh!! This story was everything. Hudson and Scarlett were combustible and absolute perfection!! They were sexy and their banter was fire!! I loved that Hudson was the man that could not only meet Scarlett's wants and desires in the bedroom but he was the only man capable of giving her the freedom to lose control and place her trust in someone else's hands. He was a safe haven for her and the only man capable of giving the woman who needed control in all facets of her life professionally, the necessary release from having the weight of the world on her shoulders.
All in all, Negotiated was fantastic and an outstanding addition to the series. As per usual, this author knocked it out of the park. She not only wrote Scarlett exceptionally well but delivered an amazingly hot and sexy story befitting a queen. As always, I look forward to everything this author writes! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

The 4th peg of The Agency is Scarlett Davis and her book was the most anticipated one because I could sense she'd be kickass, tough as nails woman. I crush hard on such strong females and this book proves that women wielding the proverbial whip are a sight to behold.
She's no holds barred, super smart, intuitive and resourceful. She may have been duped by her nemesis-hudson Andrew John for maybe a night but she's back on track and the one holding the reins by the end. She's been playing with big boys all her life and she can DEFINITELY hold her own, no questions about it.
if Hudson thought I would just lie on my back and take whatever he gave me in Thursday’s meeting, then he’d read me all wrong. Personally, I liked that position when it involved a headboard and handcuffs. But, when it came to my job and the livelihood of my partners, I was the dominant one. Soon, he would see that side of me.
I liked the sexual chemistry and the sizzling current that flowed between them. Their neatness just lit up the atmosphere and it pretty soon was clear that they belonged together.
Hudson is a take charge guy, tough negotiator, a tad unconventional considering his profession which almost landed an egg on his face. Good thing his hands and tongue were equally skilled as was his brain!
She was art. She was my art. And I didn’t want to wait another second to paint her body with dominance.
I'd have loved more twist to the story, but I'll settle for the flogger and St. Andrews cross any day!

This is a hot short story that I truly enjoyed. Negotiated is Scarlett 's story and the last book in the Agency book series.
I really appreciated how this author utilized elements of the BDSM life style into the story but it didn't let that be the entire plotline and narrative.
Hot. Passionate. Intense. Fun. Are some of the words that comes to mind when trying to described this novella. Satisfying and good read it's another.

While we’ve read about the men of The Agency, I couldn’t wait to read about the one and only female of this awesome business. Scarlett Davis in the other books always came across as a strong female, not afraid to go after what she wants, when she wants it.
I longed to find out what made Scarlett the woman that she became. The one who could sit at a table full of men and outwit them, out last them and come out with all the I’s dotted and T’s crossed. Without blinking, she knows how to work the board room and guarantees that every man is watching her. Although finding out what made her tic, was left out and had left me wanting to find out more, the story was complete without the background included.
When Hudson Jones, lead attorney for Entertainment Management Worldwide storms into Scarlett’s life, her world has shifted on its axis and is no longer black/white.
It’s a surprise encounter that leaves both salivating for more. But the lies one used to gain an advantage is sitting like a sour grape in someone’s mouth.
Can the two overcome how they met? Or will the deal that was made for The Agency’s success, falter before it even goes before the boardroom?

Holy wow!!! This book!!! First off, I’ve loved this entire series. Brett, Jack, Max, and Scarlett have been favorites of mine since I read Signed! And I’m so glad to have gotten every one of their stories! To the point now that I’m really sad we’ve got all their stories now.... anyways ok time to dive in!
This book, this book is hot! Scorching actually. I’m pretty sure I was blushing while reading some of it! (If you know me, you’d understand haha!) anyways, yea um hot and sexy and oh so dang good!!! I was sucked in right from the beginning. I love Scarlett, she’s always been the level headed one there to put our guys in their place or to help them through what they need. It was nice seeing her in the same position as what she’s normally helping with. And boy does she meet her match when she she’s Hudson the first time. Instant chemistry and instant fire and it just omg!!! You’ll love Scarlett even more and you’ll love Hudson as the story goes on!
I want to go even one step further. I know Scarlett, Brett, Jack, and Max are best friends. We all do. But there was just something about this book that I felt dig deeper into said friendships. I saw different sides to the guys in regards to Scarlett and I LOVED it! And I especially love Brett and Scarlett’s friendship! I am not a bdsm gal so this was harder to get into for me, but I still really enjoyed Scarlett and Hudson’s story! It was a super quick read, and the spice was good! A great ending to a great series!

I am not a bdsm gal so this was harder to get into for me, but I still really enjoyed Scarlett and Hudson’s story! It was a super quick read, and the spice was good! A great ending to a great series!

I am so glad Marni Mann decided to give Scarlett a book! She has been one of my favorite characters in this series. She is a strong take control woman that gets things done. I loved the dynamics between her and Hudson in this story. He is a strong powerful alpha that gets what he wants. When these two are together the chemistry and sex is off the charts! If you like strong women, hot alphas, and some spanking this is the book for you!

Negotiated is the fourth and final book following the owners of The Agency. I was so excited to read Scarlett 's story and I was not disappointed. Honestly, this book was SO GOOD, it could have easily been my favourite in the series. My only complain is that I was expecting and desperately wanting it to be a full-length novel. I needed more and more and MORE of Scarlett and Hudson. Yes, I am greedy like that. So I got a bit frustrated when it ended so fast. I just love them so much.
Scarlett Davis is the CFO of The Agency. She enjoys working with her best friends, but she is very discreet about her personal life. She is sexy, strong, independent, strong and so fucking confident. I love her so, oh so fucking much. Scarlett is, hands down, my favourite heroine in the series. She's always in charge and won’t hesitate to speak her mind. She's got her walls up and doesn't let everyone in. Until she meets her match. Enters Hudson Jones.
Hudson Jones is one of the best lawyers in California. He is in charge of the negotiations for the merging of The Agency and Entertainment Worldwide. He is dominant, alpha, successful, intense and so, oh so fucking HOT. I love him. He knows what he wants, and once he's had a taste of Scarlett, he doesn't want to let her go without negotiating. (pun intended)
Scarlett and Hudson are the perfect power couple. They are so fucking HOT together. OMG. The push and pull between them is intense. Their chemistry is explosive, sizzling and I haven't even talked about their physical attraction yet. Hot, hot, HOT. I literally couldn’t get enough of them. They are addictive.
Negotiated is a quick, steamy, sexy, sweet, addicting romance. Even if I would have liked a much longer book, and see their relationship grow and evolve more, I LOVED IT. I couldn't have picked a better man for Scarlett. I just never wanted this book to end. AND the cover is beautiful to look at so...
I highly recommend this book and this series.

3.5 stars!!!
From first to last book, this series has been truly fantastic, and Scarlett’s story is no different. This book is a lot shorter than its predecessors and I have to say that this was my main complaint. It just wasn’t long enough, I just wanted more. With the previous books in this series we have had the whole story with each character and while we have gleaned some information with regards to Scarlett as she has appeared in all the previous books, we knew nothing of her personal life. All we knew was that she was a workaholic— like the men in this book—she had met them all at university and they had been business partners ever since. While Scarlett is the CFO, this woman is no boring accountant. Scarlett is red hot, just like her name alludes to and Scarlett had these pages burning up as Marni Mann goes back to her roots, with some seriously hot, light BDSM.
As I said above, this is a quick read and because of that I felt that it was lacking that normal Marni Mann depth of characters and character connection. Being a short, this was more insta-lust especially on the hero’s side, something he was definitely not known for but none the less, this was still one hot, addictive story. Scarlett may have a backbone when it comes to the men in her boardroom, she may run them all with her fiery, no nonsense attitude, but out the work place and in the bedroom, she liked to relinquish that control, she was a submissive. Finding a man that ticked her bedroom boxes was easier said than done, hence her single status, she had yet to find the one that completed her and being as busy as she was, made the chance of that happening very slim.
Hudson is the lawyer for the opposition, the one representing the company with whom our Signed family were merging with. Hudson was ruthless in everything he did, and he knew just how to rub Scarlett up the wrong way. Both these characters wanted the best outcome with negotiations, but with both being as stubborn as they come they had reached a stalemate. When Hudson and Scarlett meet for the first time, it is not across a boardroom table and with one of them not knowing the others identity, could this liaison give them the upper hand?
This was a quick read, fast paced and action packed with very little time to breathe. These characters were so well suited and the scenes when these two are between the sheets will have you seriously fanning yourself. While this didn’t have the usual twists and angst Marni Mann usually delivers, it was fun, sexy, insanely hot and just goes to show you never really know someone, until you do. Loved Scarlett and Hudson and they made a fantastic couple in the end.

I’ve been waiting for Scarlett’s book, not knowing what to expect. She has always been so hush about her love life, I had no idea what she was about but boy... she was no disappointment. Girlfriend was no disappointment! Her whirlwind relationship with Hudson was freaky good times.
This novella length book was full of minimal drama and tons of heat. It was the end of The Agency as we know it but the beginning of an even bigger group that we might get to know more about in the future, if we’re lucky.

Well, well, well. I can tell you that I was NOT expecting this for Scarlett.
She's the final piece of The Agency and I was excited to get her story. She matches with her 3 male counterparts and is hungry for success as much as they are. She works hard, but likes to play hard too. She's one bada$$ business woman. But her other side was something I didn't see coming.
The Agency is in the works to become partners with another company and Scarlett is handling all the financial logistics. But when they go back and forth with the other company's attorney, she feels it's time for her to have a one-on-one with him. She needs to get this deal closed. But Hudson is not who she expected. Scarlett has met her match, but she doesn't do well with lying or lack of trust. Can Hudson change her mind?
Since I had read book 5 before starting at the beginning, I should've known what to expect when it came to Scarlett, but I did not. BUT, I loved this whole thing for her and the fact that she was so different from the guys she worked with. She is definitely ambitious when it comes to work AND in bed, but VERY VERY differently. The downfall of this story was the fact that it was a novella. Sure, it was fast paced and hot, but I wanted more. Wanted more of who Scarlett was in the past and what brought her to how she operates. With all that said, I frickin loved that Hudson did not give in to anything and knew what he wanted the first moment he laid eyes on Scarlett and never stopped until she gave into her feelings as well.

The book was too short and rushed to be good. The guys had a lot more time in the spotlight and this book was missing the depth the other books tried to have or had. Scarlett's taste is kinkier and I enjoyed that part. What I didn't enjoy was the pace. It was fast and that made the romance between Scarlett and Hudson not bloom correctly. Halfway through writing this review I saw that Scarlett's story was intended to be a novella and that explains the length, but it still makes me mad because Max and his not-love-story were a full-length book, while this story that had potential was wasted as a short story. And we didn't even get a proper epilogue with all the characters from the 4 stories together, which was a shame. I don't think that we will get another book in the series since it was all about the 4 partners, but I am hoping that we will get something. I wasn't very happy with this story, but I liked some parts and it wasn't that bad, so I would recommend it, if you want a fast read without a lot of character development.

Oh la lah. This was fun! I loved Scarlett and Hudson. Novellas are my jam to read during the week when I want to read but know I can't control myself to still do life when a full-length book is calling my name. I liked Scarlett and Hudson so much though that I wanted more, more, more. This was like a fun-sized candy bar when what I really wanted a full size :) Maybe, just maybe we'll get more of them? Because the epilogue left some room there!

Negotiated by Marni Mann is HOT AF! Great story with fantastic characters. I loved it. My only complaint is that I want more. It went too fast. I devoured this book in a couple of hours.
I’ve enjoyed this whole series. Each book focused on different characters but the four main characters’ friendship quartet is integral to each book. I love that Marni Mann included this because it made the story more real and relatable because your friends are in your life, so I love that this is true for the characters as well.
Negotiated focuses on Scarlett, the female in the group, and on Hudson, the lawyer for the company that will be merging with hers.
I always loved Scarlett’s character. She is beautiful, wicked smart, sassy and independent. And Hudson is my favorite kind of hero. He is gorgeous, smart, alpha, dominant and sarcastic. Together these two sizzle.
No insta-love. In fact it’s more like animosity because neither are willing to give in to the other. I love their interactions and their dialogue. And the attraction is palpable. Author Marni Mann makes the sparks fly and the steam is so thick you could slice it.
I wish this had been a full novel instead of a novella. However, the story is complete. Marni Mann doesn’t hold back. Negotiated is a sexy, no angst, hot AF romance with a perfect twist in the beginning. Definitely recommend this book and this series.

Wow wow wow…. This book is so hot my IPad almost got overheated by all the sexy hotness going on between Scarlett and Hudson.
Those two were a match made in heaven on so many levels. Each chapter had my full attention and I was turning the pages like there was no tomorrow.
This is book 4 and the final instalment of this series by the amazing and talented Marni Mann who sure has a magical way with her words.
It can be read as a stand alone but I strongly suggest that you read the previous 3 too because why would you want to miss out on all the fun there?💜
It was a loaded story that is beautifully presented and the reading just flows on its own. I simply adore all those characters that have found their place in my heart and I don't see them leaving anytime soon and I am fine with that.
I enjoyed and loved this story very much and is quite possibly one of my favorites. Oh who am I kidding? They are all my favorites. Why choose when we can love them all💜

Well this was a hot little kinky novella. I wish it were longer, only because I think Scarlett deserves a longer story. She’s the only female and she’s such a badass at The Agency. You don’t really know that much about Hudson, but that’s okay, he and Scarlett are super hot together getting their kink on!
