I've shipped them since Apollo's series was announced. I'm crossing my fingers that Apollo meets her in this book since he and Meg are on their way to Camp Jupiter. But it will most likely take them until the last twenty or so pages of the book to get there. So they probably won't interact much until the next book.

I think Reyna has to forgive herself for killing her father so she can 'heal her heart'. I know she's a demigod, but she has to do this herself, the way Nico had to accept being gay. It's something that no one can do for you.

I mean...I just finished the Burning Maze yesterday...I'm gonna start the next one today. I know this section is over 4 years old, but, Apollo/Reyna. Huh. What a concept. I don't ship it, but I'm not grossed out by the idea I guess. I don't really see how they could work, but I guess we'll see. But I'm always off with these kinda things. In HOO, I thought that Leo and Reyna were gonna be a thing, but I was WAY off. (I don't even know how I shipped them in the 1st place. They barely interacted and aren't compatible anyways. I'm not really into Caleo but it works better than WHATEVER I was thinking back then.) Then I thought Jason/Reyna was gonna happen after I learned Piper and Jason had broken up. Which I wasn't real excited for, since I liked Jiper. But we all know what happened to Jason... So I guess I'll see where Tyrant's Tomb goes.
EDIT: Holy shit I'm 70 pages into the Tyrant's Tomb and I think it might actually happen now. I'm intrigued but not super invested, mainly because a connection hasn't been developed yet. We'll see where this goes.

Well I haven't completed trials of apollo so I don't know whether reynard starts dating someone or not but in my opinion reyna doesnt need anyone 2 be herself. she is a strong praetor of Rome and has plenty of friends 2 surround herself with and that's all that she needs. She doesnt require a man 2 heal her heart, she contains that power all in herself. And besides u know these gods n how they keep on talking in riddles and aphrodite speaks absolute rubbish.

I thought that would be the case, but then I heard a lot from other fans about how if Reyna ends up straight it's just not true. It's not canon that she's gay, but idk. I think Riordan really listens to the fans when he writes so honestly, I don't know.

Yesss, I've shipped them since the beginning of the series since "no demigod will heal her heart". When the prophecy mentioned Reyna, I was mentally screaming with joy. Though it would be very weird since Apollo is a god but I'll all that for Uncle Rick to figure out.
