I'm very picky on the books I purchase. I do like to be able to at least read the first chapter or at the least a sample of the book so that I can get a feel of the book. This book definitely sounds interesting. Also, no libraries near me have this book. Is this book a book that can be enjoyed again by re-reading it?

Definitely. In fact the first read will leave you with an inconclusive after-taste, that may have you trying to figure out the flavour of what you just had, and to gain more clarity, you will be compelled to re-read it.
