Can you read these books as a trilogy? I'm really interested in the plot, but I haven't heard the best things about the last 3 books. (As I've seen it, Tahereh Mafi wrote 6 in total). So I'm wondering if I read only the first three, will it have a proper, closed ending?

Manha Ch It's not necessary to read the novellas but I would recommend it to understand the characters a bit more, particularly Warner. But yes, if you were to read the first three books excluding the novellas (Shatter Me, Unravel Me, Ignite Me) then you will get more or less of a closed ending. The ending of Ignite Me wraps up the first plot, and the next books introduce related but new plots. However, you might want to read all the books, including the novellas.
