I love myths. They really get to the archetypes of our world.

I remember reading the Greek and Roman Myths when i was young. Perseus, Medusa... Apollo, Diana.

My new book features a play on The myths involving Labyrinths.

i.e. The Sundance Caves.

There are many wonderful Caribbean folktales too.

iamjunobleeker | 2 comments I particularly enjoy myths and folktales from countries in the Caribbean, India, Africa and other non-typical locales. There is a book I read as a child called "Tales of thr Uncanny" which featured ghost stories, myth and folklore from Eastern Europe (Czech, I believe)which I highly recommend. I believe it may be referenced on GR here http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14...

iamjunobleeker | 2 comments Would the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons count as myths - perhaps modern myths for the purposes of fiction?

Alexis (aesquibel25) I actually love all the Greek mythologies as well. I actually took a Mythology class in highschool and I fell in love with the stories. I love the Odysseus and Troy stories as well as the stories of how each god came to be and how they influenced human life. I also love Pan's Labyrinth and Aesop's Fables, Treasure Island, Hans Christian Anderson stories, The Chronicles of Narnia... etc.
