When crystal meteors slam to earth and drain the magical energy from the world, Justin and gang are once more pressed into action.
Confronted with the prospect of a world without magic, they'll face their toughest challenge yet—how to destroy the crystalline threat and discovering who's behind the attack. But the meteors are all over the planet and getting to them without the use of omniarch portals or magical transportation poses a daunting task.
If Justin and his allies can't disable the meteors in time, the world may lose magic for good and the supernatural community will be destroyed.
This is the beginning of a new Arc for the otherworld chronicles. We found Justin and co facing a new threat 3 months after he and his friends won the war against Daelissa. Love, war and losses are in this book, ok I'm hooked already, thanks mister Corwin. Oh yeah, we so need the next book.
This series is so much fun. Just when you think what else could John Corwin come up with? Another book comes out with more action, more magic & more of that lovable Shelton and his witty comebacks. Seriously, I am truly enjoying this series that starts off with a kid who was bullied to a man who try’s to save the world. The narration is absolutely amazing. Austin Rising is one of the most talented narrators I’ve ever listened to. His voice is perfect for this genre. Well done!! This is book 11 and continues in book 12. I highly recommend this book/series!
This story was nonstop action from the first page to the last. It's been awhile since I read the earlier books in this series but had no trouble jumping back into it. While I liked the story I find the characters portrayed rather 2 dinensionally. I found it had some strange descriptions of the emotional state of the characters - in the midst of battle breaking into cheerful grins seened a bit odd to me. But whatever....
Really, they can't have peace, do dangerous situations follow Justin around? The group can't catch a break. And wow the perpetrator of this one......Oh and just know you will need tissues again.
This book is a sequel to the Overworld series. It shows life after. Unfortunately the original cast cannot even be spared the time to lick their wounds, mourn lost loved ones, or quickly grab some of the finer side of live without the universe throwing them back into yet another fight, this time with an unknown foe. Well written and brought tears to me at the end.
Each and every book in this series is a page Turner. Have enjoyed all of them, this one makes a great transition into the next phase of the characters goals!
